More Useless Coolness: Forum Map July 27th, 2007
I have added another interesting but pointless page to the website: Forum Map. The forum map is a radial projection of the forum database with circles depicting threads. The position, size, and color of the circles vary with the thread info.

Latest developments: I have compiled an animated GIF (4.6MB) showing the progression of the Forum Map over time. Also, there is a WMV animation (4.2 MB) of the User Map.

Hardware Failure May 21st, 2007
Yesterday there was hardware failure of the web server machine, and the website was moved to a new machine. This machine only has 3/4 the RAM of the old one, so some resources (like the radio, and downloads) will be offline or reduced in order to conserve resources during peak hours. New RAM has been ordered, and will be installed within a few days.

Anime Episodes Moved April 4th, 2007
The anime episodes server has changed from anime.gendou.com to animesheep.com for technical reasons. The interface with this site is still seamless. All that has changed is the domain name.

Anime Episodes Down March 29th, 2007
Due to some concern regarding legality, the Anime Episodes site has been shut down temporarily.

Added more RAM March 23rd, 2007
Another 1GB of RAM has been added to the server, for a total of 2GB. This should mean much less slow down during busy times.

New Feature: Information Contribution System February 24th, 2007
Users may now help improve the completeness of the music database by researching and submitting missing song information. Participants will (eventually) be given level-ups for their work, and their efforts will be reflected on their profile. If you have some time to kill, please check it out. Thank you!

New Feature: Anime Episodes! February 9th, 2007
A new service was launched today, "Gendou's Anime Episodes". It works just like the music download page, but serves full length episodes. These are all fansubs of unlicensed shows, of course. To try it out, just click on the "Anime Episodes" link on the navigation bar.
