Hello guys! Welcome to Gendou.com’s Claim an Anime/Manga/Game Character Thread! I got this idea from another forum… I hope this idea clicks. Basically, you can claim any anime, manga or game character you want as your own. This is a nice way to show your love, appreciation, fondness, liking and fanciness to that character and let the whole community know of your big fandom.... Take mine for example, there's Takemoto from Honey and Clover whose character always makes me depressed, Fuko of Clannad who always makes me laugh, Shana from Shakugan no Shana which makes me shout and say "kawaiiii!!!" when she goes tsun tsun then dere dere and Hei of Darker than Black who's coolness and aloofness makes you want to be like him.. etc etc etc... ;) Pretty nice, eh? In return, you’ll get a neat banner featuring which character you claimed, just like these ones: Designs by: Jaydel | Ren | Dfly | Inx Anyway, here are the rules and a few things to remember: Just like what I’ve said before, you can request to claim any of your favorite character from any anime/ manga/ game but there’s a limit, you can only claim one character. As in O-N-E..One! First come, first serve. You can’t claim a character that has been claimed before! Now, that reminds me of something….. C.C has been claimed by me!!!! XD Sorry C.C fanboys and fangirls. She's taken! ^^; If ever you want to change the character you claimed, you can say so in this thread. You can change a character every 2 months, creating banners is a hassle you know. -.-; If possible, please stick to that character you claimed and make sure that you really want him/her for yourself FOREVER! Don't go making frequent changes, please. *_* Once a claimed character has been dropped/changed, that character is free for claiming again! ^_^ You need to be at least a level 10 member. You can view your level in your profile. There are many good ways to raise your level. Read Gendou's FAQ to know how. You’ll be receiving a banner stating which character you claimed with the picture of the character and your name in it. You’re to put it in your profile and link it back to this thread. All banners made by me have only “one” design [look at the banner above!] and are for “profile use” only [height is above 100px]. I’m busy with my studies and rarely open my Photoshop. :-/ If you want, you can make your own banner for your sig or profile. That would save me the time and effort. You can also ask someone to do it for you, your choice. Dlfy is accepting requests. She's a good graphics artist. Mind you, her banner is prettier than mine. ~_~ Please use this format in claiming a character: Name of the Character: Last name comma First Name Series name: Type of series: (is the series an anime, manga or game???) A link to the Image of the character: (must be a decent, medium sized image; use tinypic.com to upload your image) … and please state if whether or not you want me to make your banner. Drop the request in this thread... Always check this post for updates and be sure to check the claim list to verify if a character has already been claimed. If ever your request to claim a character is taking too long then it probably means I'm busy. :( I think I already pointed out what needs to be known. If you have any questions and suggestions, please post them here. If you think you have the time, please help me out in making banners. I definitely need lots of hands in organizing this thread…. If the file size is large, the PSD file might have to wait tomorrow cause I'm downloading something at the moment. Eon, Thanks... Glad you liked it..
