This RP is my 8th and is based on the Manga called "7 Seeds" by Yumi Tamura. The things that have been changed are the numbers, location and names. Other stuff come from the original story-line. This may be similar to other RPs and TV shows like lost, but its kinda diffrent. Remember this is a SURVIVAL RP. Please enjoy. There is a character, not player, space LIMIT. Once the limit has been reached and more people still want to join in before it starts or players want to use more then one character... I might consider on making the number in a group bigger. Just depends how it goes before the RP starts. [ NEW - 4/24/2010 ] Am accepting new players for the new chapter, just visit this link. Click Here Story: Scientists had predicted this disaster, and in response, the leaders of every country met to develop a plan for human survival before the meteor hit. The Five Seeds secret project was developed out of this meeting. Each country froze a number of young healthy people, which allowed them to survive the meteor. Many of them are from different nations of the world, history and occupations. After the computer determined that Earth was once again safe for human life, it released them into the world. The government created four groups of survivors: Winter group, Spring group, Summer group, and Fall group. Each group consisted of five members. The government found one area where these people would remain safe after a meteor hit, an inhabited island. In this island the nation had provided some animals to create habitats. Some survived and evolved, while others just died off. In the island the government has prepared five "Seeds" as refuges pods for the groups. In each "Seed", the group would find seeds and numerous books instructing them on survival in the wilderness. The project was already commencing, the island was found west of Japan. However the government had over looked one thing, the evolution of the island over time. Wild plants had overgrown; some of them have turned poisonous or even carnivorous. Animals have increased their senses to survive, even the small creatures beginning to eat meat, and bigger animals seeking more food. Even some animals that are not even suppose to exist. The island had turned into a deadly playground, just waiting for its next prey. Goal: To find the "Seeds", to help rebuild and create a new civilization once again either with your own team or joined with the others. Or to survive by yourself in your team or joined with others. Map of Island:  Locations of the Five Seeds: These are carefully hidden as they are built as an underground storage. Only on the surface other would notice its doors. It is large and made of metal, almost like one that would be used on a bomb shelter. Inside them people can find the necessities to rebuild, like books, tools, seeds, clothing, tools and even some weapons. Warning: Some of these shelters may have been flooded with water or have been opened and inhabited inside by animals. The supplies are NOT endless inside this shelter. - Tao Mountain - Guyu River - Jino Lake - Rinjo Forest - Kigo Swamp Wild Dangers: Weather - Normal tropical climate. With longer summer heat and heavy rain in the rainy seasons. Sometimes strong winds blow and some rare occurrences of typhoon. --------------------------------- * Plants - (Carivious) - Gigantic Venus Flytraps - Lure their prey to their openings, once they are inside they shut their traps and decompose their prey. (Swamps & Forest Areas) - Sundews - Lure their prey with their sweet smell, when their close enough they would slip on their long petals and into their opening. The prey decomposes inside. (Swamps & Forest Areas) - Blue Mucus - affects the skin and appears only in the rainy seasons, cure is salt. (Forest Areas & Sometimes Near Water) --------------------------------- * Animals - (None Flying | Carivious) - Mutated rabbits - Small and has a cute appearance, though they like to eat plants they can have the hunger for meat. (Forest areas & Open areas) - Crocodiles - Hide in the swamp waters till their prey comes close, then lunges at them and tries to kill them in the waters. (Swamp Waters) - Wolves - Usually runs in pacts, but more often found alone. They prey for small and large preys alike. (Open Areas & Outside of Forests) - Tigers - Are rarely found nowadays, they stalk their prey and attack once they become unaware of their presence. (Forest Areas) - Ligers - Just like Tiger they rarely found, but they hunt their prey head on. (Mountain Ranges) - Velociraptors - are dinosaur type corpses that 'sleep' till it is splashed with rain, especially during the rainy seasons. They are usually found in the deepest parts and only come in few numbers. Mostly in the Hiji Forest. (Forest Areas) --------------------------------- * Incects - (None flying | Carivious) - White Cockroaches - They are pretty much harmless, but once they think their prey is valuable food source they won't hesitate to attack. (Forest Areas & Open Areas) - Giant Praying Mantis - In small number groups they prey on smaller animals. They use their arms to kill and their new extended tails to lay eggs. They are rarely seen. (Forest areas & Swamps) - Mosiqutos - Just like typical bugs they come after sweet blood, except they can now take large quantities in their large groups. Easily killing their prey from lost of blood. (Swamps & Open Areas) --------------------------------- Fish - Not much has changed for the species of fish, only they have become more developed and somewhat large then before the meteor strike. Food - Some of the fruits and plants you may find are edible, but there are chances that it can be poison. So be alert! Other then vegetations you can hunt to some animals in the wild. However this can be proven quite difficult. Fishing is another resort. * This is not the only living creates of these categories out there. You can encounter some new ones. Which will be your job to create a profile for them, and I can add it on to the listed above. Try not to make too many. She may have a hard time conveying her feelings but she does consider the people close to her important. She loves animals and tries not to hurt them. Although she may seem unsociable at times she will do anything to help a person in need. Appearance:  Bio: Ayami grew up around animals all her life. Her parents run an Animal Hospital which she has been working in since a young age. She is said to be as good as any vet and has memorized the details of several animals. Ayami has taken Martial Arts growing up as well and is said to be very strong. She has also gone on a few camping trips due to her Martial Arts classes.She has no siblings although she has always wished for one. She plans to be one of the best Veterinarians of her time and wishes to save the lives of many animals. Name : Avian Kyrie Azure Age : 19 Gender : Male Nationality : British/Italian Occupation : University Student / Librarian Personality : Being a libararian Avian is always ready to help and discuss litariture and politics. he enjoys constructive conversation and enjoys doing recreational activities such as swimming and other sports with his friends. He rarely gets angry and always tries to see the best of things. but his poetical and logical nature sometimes comes off as rude or crude when he points out the truth or bluntly puts things across. he loves reading and being a nice person but he what he hates are people who try to lead using force or people who look down on hi due to his lack of aggresion. The one thing that stands out about him is looks. although he is a bookworm and a friendly person he looks nothing of the sort which people generally tend to judge him on. Bio : He is the son of a multi billionare company called "Terasoft" who at the time were the leading software manufacturers in the world. His father Tera Azure founded the company when he was 17. This put alot of expectations on Avian. Avian's mother died when he was little and her remember very little of her. his father pushed and pushed him to become a techonoligical genuis like him but Avian never found the heart for it. Avian would sit all day reading books non stop , sometimes for more than 24 hours. His father sent him to the most prestige british school Oxford University. Avian was happy about this as they had one of the biggest librarys in the world. Avian has already been put back a year because he skips classes to work and read in the library. He is a genuis but never uses his intellect he just reads and reads whats amazing is he can remember the books he reads and recite the information as his own. He enjoys listening to music and he has always wanted to own his own bookstore with a music section. but of his own power not his fathers money. Name: Frederic Herb Age: 24 Gender: Male Nationality: Indonesian Occupation: Doctor Personality: Sarcastic, Very Harsh and Rude. Despite of the crude outer appearance, he cares about other. Appearance:  Bio: Fred was a student in a prestigious university in UK. He excelled at every subjects, basically the Straight A kind of student. He joined a Kenpo club, and he also excelled at it. Upon graduation from an University in UK, he decided to open a clinic in Indonesia for unknown reasons. Some says, he just see the oportunities that business will be good. Some says it's out of Humanity in him, since it's one of those poor-health areas. But, in doing so he changed his nationality from British into Indonesia. Soon after, he fell in love with a local girl from the area he opened the clinic. Few years after they started going out, She dumped him. Fred didn't know why she dumped him, even until now. EDIT : Profile done. Name : Natsumi Hibiki Age : 21 Gender : Female Nationality : Japanese Occupation : Army - Sniper Observer. Personality : Very easy - going, strict and hard to smile. Very serious but calm person. Bio : Working in the Arny at the age of 17, she had a bad time upon training. As time goes by, the army sees Natsumi's potential, becoming an "Eagle Eye" for sniper team. In the meantime, she also train herself Close Quaters Combat for protect herself from suprise attack. 2 years later, she was called for duty. She was successful on her first mission. As time goes by, she went to many places, had through many dangers she still keep herself calm. At the age of 20 she learn Medical Skills, due to lack of medical staff on the army. The superiors and the veterans called her "The Telescope" due to her great eyesight and high accuracy of assist sniping. She was awarded a special Combat Knife as her excellent job on the army. Name: Fenris Khan Age: 23 Gender: Male Nationality: Finnish Occupation: Electrician/Engineer Personality: Laid pack person who enjoys life as it comes Appearance:  Bio: Fenris never had really cared what he would end up doing as an adukt, but when the time came to choose he chose to become engineer, gaining high level of expertise even before he left school, during that time he also became fascinated by the inner workings of the structures so he started studying to become an electrician too. When he finally finished school, ha had acquired recommendable grades for both of his professions and he was immediately hired into a rather large construction company. After a year or so he was promoted to the be the foreman, but he never stopped doing manual labor. Outside of work he studied japanese and chinese martial arts. He also studied several other subjects depending on what happened to interest him at any given time. I think I'll take part too. Won't be able to get my profile done until morning though, settling in to bed in a few minutes. Question though, are the backpack items limited in any way besides size? I'd like to know if something like a handgun is acceptable (limited supply of ammunition of course).    |

Well to your question, the backpack is normal as one uses for hiking. a handgun is alright. Seeing that they are small in size. If its a shotgun I think it would work too. Just think about how you'd pack the item inside the backpack. for now. [ EDIT / Grey ] No, the survivors are only limited to that one backpack. This is not a vacation, it a life or death situation. HOWEVER I clearly insist on no FIREARMS! Other wise please limit your ammo to no more then 5 - 10 bullets. currently CLOSED. Request as detailed as as you possibly can. Picked Because of his Unusual skill. Master In Hand to Hand Combat, Black Belt In Taekwondo and Karate, Already Learn Brazillian Jujitsu and Boxing. at the age of 25 He finished his study of Herbology and then serving for the army at age 27. actually his family was rich but he didn't like to be served but he want to serve his country so it is the reason why he went to the army. But she's still in touch with her brother, they even met up in secret because their parents didn't let them to. One day, that secret was found out and they were separated even farther than before. [ ALL / IMPORANT ] I just decided, with a help from a friend, that there will be no GUNS or any type of AMMUNITION at the beginning of the RP. They will only be found in the "Seed" pods and will only come in small numbers and low number of ammunitions/bullets. I really want any guns right in the beginning of the RP, INSTINCTS come first. Other weapons such as knives, small blades, wooden swords, bats, scissors or even needles. Be realistic, its a backpack. These teams need to be able to be stored on them as much as possible to be allowed. Either they are inside, hanging or just attached. This maybe an exception for a few selected OCCUPATIONS/JOBS. But Please PM me first. Other then that I will be looking carefully on the contents of your luggage to see if its possible. If I say it must be change, then change it. No harm done. currently CLOSED. Name: Sophie Hansen Age: 21 Gender: Female Nationality: American Occupation: School (College Level, studying to be a Pharmacist) Personality: A little full of herself (at times she seems to think she is a bit better than others), but other than that she is kind and caring (a mother-type figure). Appearance:  Bio: Sophie grew up as an ordinary girl living in Northern Virginia, nearby Washington D.C. She went to private school, and even still goes to a private college. Her mother was a lawyer, and her father was a member of the Senate. She had known about the Project about a year before it had happened through her father, but she never took what he had said about it seriously. He, like many other leaders, had paid for Sophie to be a part of the project. Sophie is very good at gymnastics, and she also plays the oboe. She can fluently speak English, Russian, and French; and she also knows a little bit of Chinese and German. @Inx - Really? I figured I would have entered at least one. Well, first time for everything. This one is pretty different from others I've looked in to, so it's interesting to me. Also, another question, I've listed a compass as one of my characters carry on supplies. Did you mean for that to be left out of the survival kit? I noticed you have a map listed, but not a compass. Name: Vincent Turner Age: 22 Gender: Male Nationality: Canadian Occupation: Student - Medical, also studies in Phytotherapy/Herbal Medicine Personality: Somewhat shy, he has a lighthearted, albeit sometimes dark, sense of humor regarding just about anything. Despite being a Medical student he doesn't take too seriously to his work, and is usually laid back. Appearance:  Bio: He has lived a rather typical life up until his participation in the project. Although he was only an average medical student he exceeded in his studies on Phytotherapy and Herbal Medicine, and had previously practiced archery before he became a student. He was chosen in order to study the plants and search for new medicines in the fallout of the meteor strike.
