My anime folder was accidentally deleted a few short hours ago. I've been recovering a few video files and whatnot, until a few won't recover fully anymore. I guess I have to re-dL ALL the anime I lost, which sucks cause some took forever: old torrents, slow connection, large files, etc. I lost a bunch of the Negima!? episodes and we know how often they come out (RARELY!). I lost a few Lucky Star and Haruhi episodes, Code Geass, He is My Master, and even some of the newer series now like Myself; Yourself, Prism Ark, Clannad TV! Air TV, a ton of Da Capo episodes (season one and two), Season one of School Rumble, some School Days episodes, Doujin Work, Fate/Stay Night, and even more, A LOT MORE! They're all gone and cannot be recovered anymore. I did the best I could recovering the ones I currently have, but it's not use. I might stay home from school tomorrow to fix out other stuff as well besides loosing 50+ GBs of anime! I have homework I need to do, studying for other stuff like my permit, just a bunch of stuff that's really stressing me out now. ...and even more, I just don't feel like going to school. Screw perfect attendance... If anybody has some notes or something to help, all is welcomed, but I think all is lost... *curses wildly in the street*

Oh man, sorry DA. I'm pretty sure that Gendou Members will help you by sending you some of those lost episodes. I wish I could help, but my com's been down for months now. My brother deleted system files so I guess I kinda feel your pain. Hang in there...   |

The only two animes I wasn't really worried about loosing is Naruto Shippuuden and Bleach. I lost all three movies from Naruto, but I still have 85% of the Shippuuden episodes. I have all the Bleach episodes and the movie, thank god. Before I lost my huge anime folder, I was going to delete both anime's episodes since they were taking up a lot of space and I didn't see the need to keep them anymore. Well now that's not even an issue... This will take weeks to recover all the anime I lost. I'll be dLing nothing but anime everday now, but thank god Thanksgiving break is coming. Once again, I have to post-pone my trip to the DMV and do stuff at home again. I might not even go shopping on Black Friday, either, and I was waiting for that since LAST CHRISTMAS! (+personal reasons) I'm seriously am staying home tomorrow. I'm just going to tell my mom later or tomorrow morning, cause there's no way I'm leaving this house. I was smart enough to save and bookmark some ddL sites for anime that I use a lot. While Ugh, so much stress and pressure... I'm going to die. 50-60 GBs... wonder how long it'll take me to re-dL them with a 90 KB/s connection. >.>` /sigh~

*Shocked* Terribly sorry ,DA >~< !! Did you burn your anime into a DVD ? Is your anime REALLY deleted , like gone to the recycle bin and got removed from there ? Or is there something else involved ? Like ... Virus ? CPU crash ? Try to specify the way your anime got deleted , I might try my best to help ^^ EDIT : I think files can be restored , but I forgot how >< |

No, I didn't burn any to DVDs. I was going to burn the completed ones to DVDs like Lucky Star. The anime is long gone. Remaining files in Restoration (a program I dLed) has a few, but their sizes are just too small, so they're useless now. Here are a few more anime I lost episodes in:
[edit] Another thing is weird, some of the few episodes I have, have switched titles with other ones. I open an episode of UFO Princess Valkyrie and an episode of the new You're Under Arrest anime plays. I don't even know what episode, but I might delete it and restart since renaming will be such a hassle. Oh, and I lost mostly all three seasons of UFO Princess Valkyriee, too. I never even saw the fourth season yet, either... The only thing I can do now without like, mentally fall apart, is put the anime episodes in their new folders. The many few folders which wil contain the many few episodes... T-T It could help if you list out some of your favorite anime. Just a few titles, and try to not-repeat yourselves, okay? Thanks for all the help!! ...pray for me...

yay men that really sucks... if you have already tried programs that recover files when deleted, then I can only give preventive mesures applied by me... (won't do any good now) 1-burn every new anime you have (as soon as it finish downloading) 2-Share with your friends... (this is an option i don't like that much, but has shown to be incredibly effective against: broken hard drives, virus, scratched/missed backups, etc.) well those are basically my preventive measures to prevent that from happening... :S hope you can get something back man :S ã©ã†ã—ã¦ç½ªãŒã‚ã‚‹ã®ã ã‚ㆠ   |

My Goddess Air Clannad Sketchbook Full Colours Kanon Da Capo series UFO Valkyrie Princess Fullmetal Panic! Hanaukyo Maid-tai La Verite The Mai series Ouran High School Host Club Solty Rei Kiddy Grade Ef Tale Of Memories Trinity Blood Tsukuyomi Tsukihime Blood + Doujin Works Black Cat Galaxy Angel series ..... to be honest , there are too many animes I like (A manga artist should appreciate all animes) >< I got an idea ^^ , why don't ask everyone to give you the animes you've lost ? Like through MSN Messenger or through other methods ^^ . I might be able to send some of my animes I've downloaded , but you got to teach me how first :P (I fear mistakes) . You got all of it back? How much did you loose after you deleted it? I Googled a few programs. Used Restoration or something, but it didn't recover all of 'em. I don't think it was the program's fault though. [@Angelus] A few people offered to help but its just too confusing. I want it here where I can jot down the names and whatnot and where people can help at the same time, too. You could send anime through MSN (I think), but it'll take a long time. And like I said before, I'll be dLing anime a LOT everyday now until I recover 75%+ to start watching a few. So if you send me anything through MSN like an episode of anime, it'll take forever. I don't think I told anyone what anime I used to have. I think I know them all in my head, but it'll take some hard thinking and digging up to find it. >.<` Like every so often now, I remember anime I lost like Strawberry Panic (entire season gone) or Tenjou Tenge (all gone). To make it easier or something, I might add some titles on the first post (so I can keep track). At the same time, people can continue to offer titles at me and I can look 'em up if I like them or something. But not for a bit... I want to scoe these out on my own first before I ask for help. [edit] I do plan on burning more anime! Might get some program to do it professionally though, if I don't have one already... Just gotta research CDs and whatnot, to burn the anime...

D: darn. I would send some to you (literally, through the mail :P) but i'd have to make up some excuse to convince my dad XD Hmmmm....you have a really huge collection o.O Hope all goes well >.< When I burn my anime i just burn the files :P:P the .mkv files apparently aren't compatible with Nero to burn it so it's watchable on TV XD |

well I'm not sure about the demo of this software working, thought Active Partition Recovery is a pretty good prog that can get your files back [ yes, partitions, AND files 8] ] then again, I'm not sure if the demo lets you recover files, though hopefully, it does. Thanks for the program; I'll see what I can do. Yeah, Suzaku-chan, a huge collection indeed. Madness... O.o` For the newer titles like Clannad TV, Rental Magica, Shakugan no Shana Second, etc., I already have good ddLing sites to get them. Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun, Kaze no Stigma, D.C.II ~Da Capo II~ can also be added on the list I can get easily. I'm more concerned with getting older titles such as:
I also lost some newer series like Moyashimon that I never saw, but like I said I can get that easily. Just... UGH~ >.<` Right now I'm dLing second season of D.C. along with some of the newer titles I mentioned earlier here in my post. My computer's been dLing anime all day, and I can tell it's getting tired since it takes longer to establish a full normal dLing connection. Now the anime I'm dLing now, is not using MegauL. Eventually after I get some of the series done off of the few sites I'm using, megauL will hit the playing field. Now I'm not a premium member, and with that said I can only dL a few episodes until I have to wait like... 450+ minutes until dLing again. Just how the site works, but it's okay I guess... 'cept it puts me back further! Thanks for all the support guys. I might add the anime I lost or figure out (from here or my mind) on the first post or something. I'll -strikeout- the series I get finished. Thanksgiving break is up in about a day and a half (full day tomorrow, half day afterwards), so I can have more time off until next Tuesday. I took today off for personal reasons I won't discuss here, but I was able to get a bunch of episodes dLed today. It's going to be a hard 5+ months now. I might not get done until before or after Summer of next year!! Man, I would never wish for something like this to happen on anyone. It sucks really bad, trust me. Thanks for the support so far guys. You guys are truly the best people!

Hmmm. Yeah, megauL is kinda annoying sometimes with all it's limits, but at least it's something.... Do you already have this site? You probably do.... It has Shakugan no Shana, Rozen Maiden (both seasons), and a few others you mentioned I think. It also has Suzumiya Haruhi, but it's offline at the moment :( As is a lot of other ones.... |

Yeah, I do but it's been ages since I'v last visited this source. The ones that are offline are a bummer. A ton of great series to watch. I'm not sure if they'll ever get back to being online, but I better hope they don't close down more series. I got "He is my Master" and "Rozen Maiden" first season here. Not sure where I got the second season though, but yeah... (strange). There's also the episodes with good subgroups. I'm never that picky, but I do prefer good subgroups. I had a few with "Your Mom" subs, and they're just plain annoying... >.>` Good subs and whatnot, the other stuff is just annoying. Period. To me, I like MegauL (cept for the waiting-limit thing, yeah). On certain sites that have a few links using thsi source, I hate how some are only realplayer files or files that have extremely lacking quality. T-T Once again, thanks for the help. Continue doing so. ^_^ Gotta sleep, as well as my computer. We've both been working hard today...

its just like what happened to me a few months ago. I accidentally deleted my folder when I was installing a software in my PC! all of my previous projects in school since I started college & web layouts with all of my mp3's, pics and videos are deleted! it was really an accident but I call it stupidity! >< a friend told me that it is possible to retrieve the files that has been deleted but I think the process will take a few days.  |

Waaaah~!! .____.;; so sorry to hear this... well the HD on my desktop got reformatted a few months ago and I had to reDL everything too. Still haven't recovered everything ;w; if anything I guess I'll be here for moral support... unless you would like me to upload Haruhi on megaUL or something @w@;; although I thought boxtorrents had it up... >w>;   |

sorry to hear about that da. im in the same boat as you though i didnt have as much anime (just bleach and naruto really), but i cant recover my anime until i replace my hard drive. sigh. good luck though
