So far it looks pretty good, the appearance of the constructacons will be the hilite of the film. Supposedly the big guy in the trailer is one of them, so if he is that big, imagine how big Devastator will be like!!! Still the idenity of the 'FALLEN' are a mystery, i wonder who they will be. This movie as well as the GI JOE movie will be my big films of the summer...they actually may be good despite the fear. |

So basically it's another installment of Micheal Bay Presents: Explosions? Great. I kind of expect this one to be as, if not more, average than the first. From the looks of the trailer, it focuses just as much on the humans as it did the first time, and everything else is just "crap gets blown up good" filler. |

I just wish that they would stop zooming in the camera. and also they should pay attention a bit more to some of the details on the storyline. I mean in the first move they were trying to run away with the cube on a chopper, with star scream taking down f16 fighters. |

The first movie just focused on special FX, explosions and the humans far too much. It was a decent movie, but it was far from being considered a pretty good, good, or a great movie. From the looks of the trailer I don't expect much more out of this movie besides more cool special effects, explosions and focus on humans. We just want to see giant robots transforming and fighting eachother, what's so hard about that? No humans, no human sub story, just big robots destroying each other. It's the same as the Hulk movie, all you wanted to see the Hulk do was smash things, which is why Ang Lee's film did badly while the newest remake did much better. |

Like all Michael Bay movies it is usually a blow-up fest with lots of explosions & for most of the time it is real stuff...none of this CG created effects. Yes it would be cool just to have a movie be about giant robots beat each other up like in the animated series, but this is Hollywood & you have to add the human element to a film. You need the human element to make it credible i assume....i remember long ago there was a film all about giant robots beating each other & barely any human interaction. I think it was called Robot Jox or something like that & as you expect it absolutely bombed. Granted it didn't have the licensing of the Transformers (or Go Bots for that matter) but it was about giant robots yet fans never caught on. Maybe what i'm trying to say is that you sometimes need that human element to make the audience experience the situation if they were put in that part. I'm probably not making any sense at all with my rambling XDD..... |

The thing is the Transformers basically have their own personalities much like humans do, they are not just giant robots who silently attack each other like radio controlled toys, the transformers have thoughts and feelings (I guess you can call it that) the same as humans. So do you need humans at that point? Watching the first Transformers, I honestly didn't give a crap with Shia Labeouf's characters was doing, I didn't care that he got bullied or hocks his ancestors stuff on Ebay for cash and has the hots for Megan Fox. He isn't a transformer, and in a movie called Transformers based on the show, I want to know what the titular characters are doing, not random generic characters. I wouldn't have had much of a problem with it if they had just focused on Shia and Megan's characters, yeah, you kind of need to see it from a human perspective when you talk about giant transforming robots, and I guess Shia's character had a vague reason for being involved, but they didn't focus on two people, they decided to focus on three separate freaking groups of people. You had a group of people hacking computer systems and government stuff to figure out what keeps trying to break into the systems. Then you had a group of soldiers somewhere who first have contact with the Decepticons. Then you have Shia and Megans characters who are in league with the Autobots and make sure that the spark doesn't fall into wrong hands. Shia and Megan are the only characters that needed to serve a major part in the movie, instead of this we keep watching the hacker group and the soldier group fart around the country and contributing almost nothing to the movie whatsoever, which cuts down on the screen time of the characters that the people want to see, the Transformers. Alright, done with my rant. At least for now. |

What Jon is trying to say is: "More bots, less humans" Oh did you know that Soundwave will finally make an appearance? Apparently, rumors are going on that the Decepticon will be a Fighter Jet. Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

to defend the movie...i think it tried to show us on how the government might react if there ever was 2 factions of robots fighting in your country...though i do agree that the transformers were never really given any character development at all...we need more transformers screen time! and more dialogue too! XD btw the fallen they movie is talking about, is it related to unicron? |

"i think it tried to show us on how the government might react if there ever was 2 factions of robots fighting in your country" I think we know how the government would react. I don't think Obama would be hesitating to call in the army if giant robots started destroying cities and attacking military bases. It's cool to see the army attacking these robots because that's what humans would do, but I don't need to get the first hand account of G.I Joe and his efforts to do it, especially when he doesn't do anything useful. The giant robots are the main characters in the movie and are perfectly capable conveying a story themselves along with the two human characters. |

True dat son, I had so many opportunities to buy it, too. >_<;; I just love the trailer though, it's so dramatic and builds you up, and what's awesome about it (other than the sweet GFX), is how there's no commentator. I do need to see it though, as I am a fan of Transformers, and I want to create my own opinion after seeing it myself, This year I noticed a lot of sequels are coming out, a few anyways... ------- |

In order to make a good or the better sequel than the original, here's the list... (For real) : 1 - More Actions... 2 - less Drama... 3 - More Explosions.... I'd really for sure think like that... |
