well...do you...i know this has been a common problem with the internet. the persons animosity is so broad...he or she can tell anything he or she desires...some might tell lies others might spread rumors.... do you believe in what i say? do you belive the people in the forums? well its just plain curiosity thats all hehehehehe |

*slyly* Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe... maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe not. Hume teaches us that no matter how many time we drop a rock, we never know what'll happen the next time we drop it. It may fall to the gound. Then again, it might float to the ceiliing. Past experience never proves anything. Anyways, Hume was a guy who doubted everything. Thought everything was an illusion pretty much. Even though there are doubts we can have about other members and what they have to say, isn't there some basic foundation that... what's the philosophy term... undeniable? I just can't remember any that's all... I think, some people forget the fact that other memebers can not be speaking entirely truth. Who knows? Maybe that pic of me isn't really me. Whatever the case, it's like measuring in physics with significant figures. You just ignore that stuff you can afford to ignore. Undeniable... Isn't it undeniable that all members are different in terms of opinion and beliefs? Isn't it undeniable that some are not always not speaking 100% truth of all their posts? Liar, liar, pants on fire... But isn't is also undeniable that many of us can have common opinions and if we agree on it, then it isn't false? Sorry, I'm just reaaaally sleepy from lack of sleep and had my dose of Aristotle. Of course, who would believe that? Most of us just accept we are different and obviously would have different things to say, true or false. |

yeah lubu your probably right but sometimes i just wonder if what im reading is fact or fiction...hehehehe but generally ive found some good honest people here hope everyone will be but that would make me naive hehehehehe |

I'm probably never going to meet the person in real life, so I never really thought about this question until now. I think I'll only know for sure until I meet the person. I have met some people I met on the internet in real life and they were pretty honest about themselves.

I don't trust everything people say here but I believe some. Sometimes people say things that are just too far fetched for me to believe[I have my own ideas on what is "too far fetched" and what isn't]. But I agree, you can't[and shouldn't] trust what people say online to some extent, but that doesn't mean you have to say it to the person. Like "I don't believe you for a second" or "that's impossible" because who knows, they could be telling truth.    |

i used to live by this quote: "Never trust anything that can think for itself if you can't see where it keeps its brain." sounds familiar? teehee~ it's from the harry potter book; i believeD it entirely... not until i saw where one kept its brain, and yet still couldn't trust it. people here in gendou are, i believe, more trustable than other places, other forums, other chatrooms (i USED to go to chatrooms. not anymore...), let alone myspace. it DOES make sense, though... i mean, not to trust a voice that you can't see or hear what and where the source is from. but that changed quite a bit. we should just be more cautious of the information WE give, than the information that we receive. ^^ -michiyo-
