yeeeey congrats everyone who got into semis, and the ones who didn't get into semis! ^-^ waaaah..i have bad news everyone~~ sadly to say that....i have to quit the competition~~ School has startd already and i have absolutely no time whatsoever to record the songs or be online a lot, due to the clubs activities, volunteering at the hospital and at the lab, all of my horribly stupid boring and hard classes lol and of course, ALL the work~! T___T i've been spending every single day in the library til like 10pm..without my laptop, studying! waaaah~~ *cry* really sorry pame!!! if my decision really made it hard for you...nyaaa..~~ But i wish everyone good luck!! ^-^ and do the best you can~!~ i'll drop by occasionally~!! ^0^ Ganbatte ne~!! AJA~!! ^^v

Hello everyone...Just passing by... I was reading that some people are quitting...Ha~ Less judging XD! Nah Just kidding...I wish the best of luck to the people quitting... So...I'm in charge of adding another evaluation into semifinals...and it will be interpretation...For what I've heard so far...people have been lacking energy in their performances...emotion as well...and that has been decreasing their scores, so that's why we are adding interpretation into the semifinals. Basically now...Semifinalists will be judge under the following: *Song Selection: Must suit your voice, how challenging is the song. *Technique: What you can do with your voice...intonation issues, vibratto, falsettos and so so... *Voice Potential: Type of voive you have and what you can do with it. *Interpretation: Adding the right feelings to the type of song you are singing, eg. Energy, power, feelings. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE SEMIFINALISTS...PLease...send your entries to Pame... |

Ahhhh you won't understand how grateful I actually am for you judges defining what exactly you are looking for and also adding 'interpretation' to the judging criteria :D Thanks for doing so! CONGRATULATIONS SUZAKU!!! You are the new semifinalists!!! ^-^ Okies...so...Fa has quit too. T-T And because I just announced Suzaku is the next semifinalist...I will give a little more time for the songs to be submited to me...^-^ So...Semifinalists...you have till Monday to do so...maybe Tuesday... @FA:I am sorry you have to quit but if that is what you have to do, you must do it. Since I am not in school anymore, I can stand on my side of the fence and just laugh at all you kids. :D With all jokes aside, I wish you all good luck in school. It is sort of like bitter medicine. You just gotta stick it out. It is good for you, somehow.  |

kids? lol. kids? XD I'm 21 and studying loool and probably wont be finished with it until my 26th or 27th o_O however school sucks, I'll probably spend half of my life at it. *dies* Noooooh people why are you quitting =(

@yinzhao:Heheee. I spent 30 years in one form of school or another. I am sooo so glad to be done with it. Oh, BTW, you sound very nice for a 21 year old. You must have years of training. Maybe we should have had the karaoke contest earlier. @Pame:do you do this contest thing every year? Or is this the first time you do this? |

MOUUU!! why is everyone quiting... lol. to tell the truth, I was thinking too... school + job + phone calls around Univ. to get my scholarship that they did NOT giv me.. (yet)... and annoying stuff. But I'm still gonna be around. Hopefully... my internet on campus will give a me break and be good for the rest of the year. ^^ Anyway, I heard all the songs (cuz I'm at home)... OH MY... so much competition. >()< very excited to hear the Semis. (my entry sucks.. don't expect too much for this one.. rushed + sick) GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!! Oh.. and can't forget...
