Oh yes! I remember those times, haha, wow I was hardly a year old here on Gendou.com, which proves a lot! It's good to welcome new members now and then I still do it, but I think Sachiel began that whole picture thing, I forget. It was a good tradition that we had going and I'm glad we were all together during those short months that we did 'em. I can say proudly it's good having Izumo as a friend, mainly one of my 'not-entirely-closest-but-still-pretty-close' friends here. Jon is the same thing, since we RP'd for a short period in Gendou City but we talked about things more on MSN. You're right about one thing. As we all grow older, people tend to drift away, which is sad to see. I for one, have seen it happened a lot, especially when I returned from my hiatus to see everyone left almost. It's good to see some of the more experienced members of the board, the "vets" are still around. I'm not sure when I'll depart from the site as I grow older, but I know one thing I'm not going anywhere soon. Sure college is coming up and I might not be on as much, but when that times come, we'll see. I ALWAYS make time for Gendou.com, even during the most important times during school (like mid-terms, finals, lol, I'm on Gendou.com instead of studying). :P Plus I need Gendou.com to keep in touch with anime and music related news, as well as keeping in touch with my friends here. This board has effected me much of my life, since I spent a lot of my personal life here when I'm not out of the house. Memories? You're darn right about memories, and I hope to make more and more as the years come! ^_~`

@Izumo-san- Oh yeah, that is the first time we really met. Everyone was kind of tearing apart Fllay in that thread because of her actions, me and you were really the only ones who saw actual humanity in her character. Good times. Goood tiiimes. Well I personally know how people can drift from this site since I kind of did myself there for a while. I was still hanging around but up until about the start of December I was barely ever seen. I just kind of lost the will to post or check the threads because of work, girlfriend, things like that. The only reason I was still around and am back now is because Gendou.com is set to my homepage, so eventually I decided to go picking around and began to post like normal again. If it wasn't my homepage I probably would have not checked back and it would have slipped to the back of my mind. So I know how easy it is for people to move on. As much as I appreciate the friendships I have here with people like DA and Izumo-san, life just tends to pull us away. It's too bad I don't live closer to some of you guys, I can imagine we would get along well. They are indeed memories that I will have forever, and I believe the main reason we are friends is because of the discussions (I consider a guy like Kay my friend, but that was through all the RP'ing, where as Izumo-san was just through similar tastes and viewpoints as well as interesting discussions). I'm at post 10861 right now, so I'm going to set my sights on getting 10900 by the end of Feb, and hopefully 11,000 by April.    |

@ DAngel-san & Jon-san Although it is sometimes tough to lose touch with friends you meet online & such it is the nature of the beast i guess. When you get older or find something else to keep you occupied you eventually drift apart from what use to become normal everyday activity. Stuff like going to college, finding a career, a spouse/significant other, or other things out of ones control will become more important in ones everyday life. So i understand that it will happen & eventually happen (even with us one day) it is still a little tough to swallow. Yes you meet new people & friends everyday since this site is always expanding with new members here & there but sometimes you wish that you can get in touch with those from long before. I remember when members like (here comes my rainbow of colors :D) FA-san, Lady Maia-san, Shishio-san, Critic-san, Riceboks-san, PSO player-san, Geiko Geko-san, fattie-san, Engineer-san, Sachiel-san, Kanayuki-san (atemu-mana), Rukia-san, Michiyo-san, Kay-san (though he mainly role plays more often than post)...to name a few oldies...as well the more recent members like Lacus-san & Eureka-san, who use to post alot but not anymore. I know i'm missing many more & i'm sorry for not remembering them at the moment XD. It would be nice to see them again from time to time but that may never happen. Those were fun & interesting times...not that nowadays aren't fun & interesting...it just doesn't have the same feel anymore. In a day of instant messaging the need for more personal interaction is almost non-existent. I guess one day eventually we'll too be slowly be distancing ourselves from this site. I'm getting to that age where i would like to settle down & start a family of my own....heh...funny i'd be saying that all of a sudden. Well i may never ever be able to reach the number of posts that you guys have...but i'll try my damndess until then :D!  |

Yeah, pieces have been lost from Gendou.com that might never be obtained again, the ol' days were sure fun weren't they? :P It's tough thinking about the future, but I try to not think so far into the future. It tends to leave me all emotional and whatnot, haha, and we're still all decently young, so let's worry about today, tomorrow, this week, etc., or as I say "no worries" really. :P I know eventually people drift apart, and it's going to be tough since we're all different ages and whatnot, so one by one someday we're all going to move onto other personal things in life. I know I'm going to be real happy once I graduate college (if I fully attend), cause then it's like school, but "school" would hopefully be "work". Other than hanging out with friends, going to parties now and then, maybe some shows, vacation, etc. I'll still hopefully be active online, cause I want to be active online and on the computer for a long, long, long time. I just can't leave it alone. Though truthfully, I might not be able to dL anime for the rest of my life, haha. That's one topic that keeps us sociably active, so I'm hoping to not loose that at least for a while anyways. It'd be cool after someday we all get older and get families, than our kids join this site and become friends like us! XD Talk about one of the coolest, probably less likely but still very likely things to happen. Their fathers would be alumni on a very historic site. ^_~` About that rainbow line of members, boy I do a miss a lot of 'em. FA! Zomg... Maia-hime (Lady Maia)! Zomg... Critic, Sachiel, a lot. T-T`

Wouldn't it be awesome if Gendou's future son/daughter grew up to take control of Gendou.com? Honestly though, if I'm on the same site as my son/daughter in about 10 or so years, then I think daddy Jon should try and find a more productive use of his time. |

My 11,000th post. I finally hit it, and on my third Gendou Anniversary! Great time to make it. That's about 3,600 posts a year, or 300 posts a month, or. . okay I'll stop. It's been a great 3 years, and I'm sure I'll be around for my fourth year next Feb. Maybe I can hit 12k by then. (Technically I missed the mark by about 9 hours since I registered at 11am and got my 11k post at 8pm, but it's still the same day). |

Stop being technical, and just be happy. XD My ultimate goal, one of my Gendou.com Unlockables or something, is to somehow reached 20K... It might be difficult as years go on, but who knows how the forum'll be in months/years pass. Everyone's growing up and posting less, including myself... well, sort of. :P

The oldies are goin at it again? XP nah j/k Rofl XDDDD I Am.. Getting quite old here too.. with 6 more months for my 3 years here.. (lol 3 years.. almost as many years as my HS years) and oh lol, I Do recognize most of the rainbows there XD and yeah, I kinda agree there.. as people grow up they tend to have more things to take care of.. Me for instance XD being a 2nd year Univ student really does take most of my time.. but yeah, I Still managed to make time for Gendou posting no matter what.. maybe with decreased amount XP Hey Z.. I'm planning to do that lol.. But that wouldnt be too cool for our Son/Daughter... Like when they are on gendou chat, and you log in just to tell them to go to sleep XDD That'd be a hillarious one don't you think? anyway,, 5286 and Counting XD  |

That'd give you a headache for even trying to lay the numbers out. :O Though I'm in a rough spot right now, and not sure where I'll be during the rest of the year here. D: I've been so stressed lately, my dad's in the hospital, school's been killing me mentally and physically, I'm tired, finding work is still a zero, just worried about so many things and I feel like I'm at another moment where life is against me again. [@Ukissa] Keep working on, and getting that first major milestone (milestone: 100, 500 posts).
