Kinda on hiatus...but not really...
I just won't be online as much

SA.YO.NA.RA ~Kimi o Wasurenai Yo~ by CLIFF EDGE

Upbeat songs are the best ^___^ I've always liked J-pop/J-rap (i.e. HOME MADE 家族, FUNKY MONKEY BABYS,
Ketsumeishi, DOHZI-T, etc.), but I've been getting into more lately xD'
Recently Discovered Manga/Anime:

"Barajou no Kiss" (Kiss of the Rose Princess) by Shouoto Aya

Genre: Shoujo, Romance, Comedy, Supernatural

Description (from Turtle Paradise): Most girls are crazy about jewelry, but not Agnès (Anise) Yamamoto. Not since her father gave her a rose choker as a child, claiming it was a protective amulet which would safeguard her from harm; however, if she ever took it off (a feat easier said than done!), she would be afflicted by a “punishment” of some sort. Not like it matters to her though, since the attention it attracts around school from faculty and students alike isn’t something she’s particularly fond of. But after a certain incident causes the choker to disappear, she realizes that this punishment her father spoke of might have been a bit more than she bargained for!

My comment(s): The first thing that attracted me to this manga was not the bishies that you can clearly see (no seriously, the bishies did not attract me to this manga XD), but more of the mangaka's beautiful artwork and the plot (though the description is a kinda vague) The actual plot is a little bit more complex and in-depth which I really enjoy. And the bishies are a plus ;D I would recommend this to any regular shoujo loving manga reader that's looking for something new to read.

There's no anime for this series (sorry just anime lovers :P) Well, there isn't one yet anyways (with my *bad* luck, it probably will be eventually) I'm definitely looking forward to the next chapter release of this manga (thanks to anyone for taking the time to read this and I hope you'll check it out!)

Recently Discovered Music Artist/Band:

A.Tract (에이 트랙트)

Language: Korean

Genre: Rock

My comment(s): This is my first encounter with a K-Rock band...and I have to say, I am not disappointed in any way. In fact, I'm very surprised and consider myself lucky that I randomly stumbled across this band. It kinda renewed my hope for K-Rock because I thought I was never going to find a K-Rock band D:

While the singer has a so-so voice, the music style of the band is a bit unexpected since I expect more Pop/Hip-Hop kind of music to come out of Korea (Big Bang and DBSK's fault -__-) A.Tract is more Rock-ish than Pop-ish sounding, but not like heavy rock. They're not exactly a mixture of the two either, which is a good thing I think. They've just released a single and all the songs on it are pretty good, especially "It's Over". Listen to A.Tract a bit and tell me what you think of them :D

Thank you Holkers for making this awesome claim banner ^w^
