@ich: we all are X3 well good luck with that~ @tm: zomg at art mangers )__) I don't do stuff like that XO you rock~~~ your sister's work is also great ^^ @rin8: eyes look too wide but it's ok ^^ I can't draw realistic X ( @blur: when I have some time I would but I still have lots of school work to finish and most are on the compy so I sideline doing computer coloring, etc.. ^^; cute easter egg XD @red: wow nice character concepts but I notice that the girl in the upper middle doesn't have any animal-like parts.. hmm --- new work!  (also in da) -- enjoy ^^

@ T.M - Once again, thank you for the kind comments. Not very many people take inspiration from my art, at least not with all the competing artists on Deviantart. I'm gonna try to step up my work from now on. I'd hate to disappoint you by not improving. @ Everyone - How would you all like it if I made a coloring tutorial? (But where would I post it? Here?) This one is a bit old. I did it last year after school started. It's Helldawn again! I had to photoshop it together because it was so big I had to scan it in two pieces. I didn't clean the line art with this one as much as the rest. The strangest feeling passed over me when I looked at this; I felt like busting a move. I think Majing's personality was going through me & I had a party attitude.  |

This picture was drawn for a friend from dA, who's holding a contest for a lover/assistant for her magician character Damian. I'm probably going to be the only person submitting a female, since the rest of her original characters are drenched in the thick paste that is yaoi... *shudders* That stuff seems to follow me everywhere, so I can tolerate it, but not much ¬_¬ She's a great individual, who needs some more confidence ^^; So yeah, if you have a dA account, leave a comment there, if not, leave your comments here =) LINKS~! @ninja soup- I wubs the drawing! It's so cool~! Colouring tutorial? That sounds a great idea! ^_^ @vincent- no waiiii~~~~ your drawing is so neat and purty! Gotta love the face expression (w00t, his eyes, @_@ wow... ) Heh heh, thanks for liking my last week drawings, them Death Note chibis sure are cute ^^; Anyway, I did this last night:  Boo~ I misspelled 'Enlightenment'! DX (finished drawing + colouring nearly to midnight, so I blame my tiredness X3 ) I have the thumbnails too... cuz the resolution of the full drawing is not that great. I tried my best using Photoshop to adjust its brightness and so forth:   Colouring is simply just a mechanical pencil and colouring pencils, nothing fancy ^^ Light is in Red, while L is in Blue. Sorry if my drawings are in oekaki side -_- Finally, a Death Note chibis~! :3  Near looks so creepy though... *psycho violin music* L is just nom nom away with his biscuit ^^' |

@Vincent now you can draw ^^ its really nice to see such great improvements with your drawing ^^ keep up the good work!! @wootos nice artwork!! ^^ and I love the chibis!! xP EDITED: just feel like showing my own workspace ^^ I dont have any coloring equipments... Im more on gradients, or charcoal styles

This_happen_'cause_my_laptop's_spacebar_button_is_completely_dead (as_i_mentioned_earlier).... and_i_have_to_either_replace_it_for_new_keyboard_that_cost_more_than_$140 or_buy_desktop_keyboard_for_$9,9_but_this_old_laptop_will_lost_it's_mobility..... Wow, you have a very good workspace ^^ I don't even know whether I have a workspace (I do have a study desk, but I hardly use that desk for studying and drawing >_< boo~) My habit of drawing on my bed is still strong XD (obviously decked with a hardcover book when drawing). 8D Did you use geometry set often while drawing anime and sorts? Just curious though ^^ @Red- awh, sorry to hear about that. Dead laptop spacebar >_< TT__TT looking forward for your artwork~! :D |

@wootos Thanks! xP actually im also working in bed =D its like a mini table that can be used everywhere its not that big so its very useful to me xP Sometimes, but its really rare for me to use one coz im not always that serious when I draw xP But I do use guidelines so thats why I always use rulers to know the right path ^^ Im still fond with charcoal styles so eventhough I make several mistakes, I just let it there, somewhat its like a simple design to me xP how bout you?? @RED aw >,< I know it will cost you tat much but why not prefer to buy a Desktop PC??

@Munki: I really like the eye. And the hands. (I can't draw hands very well...) It's supposed to be Gackt from the pv for Returner ~Yami no Shuuen~, but it kind of failed. It's the first time I've ever really tried coloring anything, so I'm sorry it looks so weird. I colored it in ms paint, too... (I don't really understand photoshop...) The feet I didn't color over because they looked even worse when I did. I drew it for a tshirt desighning contest for my Japanese class (It had to have some sort of Japanese design on it)

@Vincent: nice improvement >_< your proportions are better than mine waaaaaa /kills self XD @w00t0s: realism >_< cute chibis XD @ich: yes it's my lovely Tomoyo <3 your work space is great.. I wish I has a work space XD I usually draw on the bed or the floor XD I have a study desk but is used by my sister when studying (and even if it's free it's cluttered with notes, books, and random garbage) XD hmm so you use the pencils for shading and the mechanical one for the lines? hmm.. You use rubber eraser! erasing is fun with those.. but I use a kneaded one but I stick it on a stick and erase as if it's behind a pencil XD Compass! I can't use those properly XD.. @Suzaku: sorry too lazy to comment in da.. you draw nicely but i was really shocked to find he is a she XD like magic i guess lol @Munki: It looks good tho.. @Rin8: ms paint art! well yu did well in the coloring ^^ but I'm not much of a fan of that style

I have a habit of using rulers for exact lengths, when drawing up a background. Nothing complex, just abstract-looking background. ^^ I rarely used charcoal... I am no fan of using charcoal but I like using soft (chalk) pastels, although both mediums are dreadful stainmakers (ArrRgH! My carpeted bedroom floor! Powdery stains! XD Crap, it sticks on my shirt DX) I only use them if I want to draw something grand. Yaays! Aah, you are more of a sketchy artist, huh? (Leave mistakes here and there :p That's my habit too XD) |
