Hi guys! It has been a very long while, ever since the Chat was compatible with most computers. But right now, I think the compatibility is almost non-existent. Anyway, me and a few other friends were reminiscing about the life back in Gendou, the Chat especially. I don't know if this thread will ever blow up, or something, but hey, post your memories of you in the Chat! Who knows, the old...friends that are not really on social media will see this and..reply. Here's to hoping, I really do miss all of them, all of whom I've ever talked to, friends from all over. So what's your memories of the Chat? Oh man I've been away for so long I forgot how this site works. Anyway hi. Memories? Gotta be those Touhou hijack moments using the Touhou avatar. I'm pretty sure it annoyed the hell out of some people ahahahaha. Good times. Edit: Apparently Photobucket screwed up my entire pict gallery ahahahaha, I'm sad now.  |

Man, this is like going back to being 13 ;w; I feel so old now. I really, really miss being on the chatroom and being random and kinky ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I have too many bittersweet memories so I can't really choose, but I love all those stuff we did together just to get into funny chat quotes. Really taught me about teamwork xD |

Hey everyone! Gosh, this website brings back so many memories. Gendou.com was such a big part of my adolescence. I remember frantically searching for a website where I can download anime songs and then I saw this. I remember entering Gchat and people greeted me warmly. It was such a fun feeling. I have so many memories that it's difficult to say them all in here. I just think that it's all so beautiful how the chatroom connected people from different parts of the globe regardless of age, culture, religion, and race. I have met so many people here. I have fought with a few. Kept in touch with some. But remembered a lot. I was known as Lacus, or mockingly, Kerotz here many years ago. But now I go by Dani or Danielle in FB :) If you remember me let's reconnect again or sth :) Have a good day. Cheers.  |

... Here comes the infamous Inferno... (Some remember me as 'that guy that always types in /orange even though he's not speaking Tagalog'... Well, guess what... I've been using /orange in chat before even Ehmz or the other Pinoy mods used /orange... And I was the one that invited them to be in the once exclusive orange super sentai group known as O-Rangers.... SO THERE. HA!) Do I miss Gchat? Hell yes. Great times. Personally, I still lead the 'infamous' online attitude on my FB that was originally specifically created to keep in contact with people in Gchat... https://www.facebook.com/infernoflamex Feel free to add me Gendounians.. but do tell me who you are in PM. When you've been 'in character' for so long; it somehow becomes a part of you as you grow older... That is why I try to separate online life with the chaotic mundanes of IRL... ... I've made some of the best friends here. That is why I shall continue to stay in character for as long as I'm online... So that we can all continue to have something of a remembrance in the eras of our youths, within our daily lives... Inferno may be brash, sometimes rude and a very proud pervert even now. XDD ... So please bear with him a bit if he acts too immature sometimes... Honestly, I don't think I could live a life without this 'other me' now... What began as a no-holds barred personification of myself in chat to talk to people online... Became a part of me that I cherish greatly because his unique sense of honesty, tenacity, and outlook of life that attracted the greatest of friends. The friends that I made here have as much impact on my life growing up, just as much as Inferno had impacted me... I wish to wholeheartedly thank and invite all of you to converse with me! Ugh.. I guess people are moving to facebook, so in a way facebook is what killed this place? I remembered several things in chat. tbh I still want to go there and chat with you all, but installing old java is troublesome. same problem I have with kgs, I guess. Thank you for the admins that kept the radio on from time to time  |

Schaz, nah I don't think because people move to Facebook that killed this place. It's a decline of update on Java for chat. Everyone just went Facebook before it died because it's faster and easier to connect. Soon enough we all connected on Facebook. But man, those days we were always on Skype because Facebook was a little too personal. Eventually, we just add each other. And Gendou haven't been around to update Java. It's not ones fault, everyone just moved on.

Holy crap it's been so long. Hello! How's everyone? It's nice to see people active hereee. This site was also a big part of my adolescence. I kind of remember feeling a bit out of place before because that time I was like one of the youngest users of the chat lol, I couldn't completely understand what everyone was talking about. Anyway, it's sad that the chat can't be used anymore. :/ Hope everyone is doing well!  |
