Anyone play the game yet? Wonder how ACII sales went after releasing a week after COD4. Beat the campaign on regular mode or whatever, but might head back into it again, but I hate some parts of the game, one being the traitor part and whatnot. The multiplayer is friggin' FUN! Started a few days ago, just never want to stop playing. Some people were already level 70 a few days after it came out. -_____-" ------- |

I got it purely because one of my friends convinced the other friend to get it and then they both pestered me to get it as well. They wanted me to get it so that we could play multiplayer together, but the fan of MW is off playing online on his own all the time while me and my other friend have pretty much played out Co-Op for all it's worth. I completed the single player campaign. Me and my friend are done with Co-Op, which doesn't hold fun value for very long, so I'm going to be trading it in this Friday for a game I actually want to play, Demons Souls. I'll probably play that with Ken from here on Gendou. It isn't a bad game, I will give it that, but I find it's a little overrated. It's probably going to win tonnes of awards regardless even though other better games deserve them. MW2 just has a better online mode (although I know some people will disagree on the term 'better'), so I really don't see what the fuss is about. I personally didn't like it, not just because I don't play online games very much unless they are co-op, but mainly because I ran into a load of bugs throughout the single player campaign. I had to restart one mission 3 times before I was able to get it to work properly. I know it was just me, my friends had no problem with that mission, but it still ticks me off. Plus, I'm one of the few people who actually liked the WWII COD's more than the modern ones. People keep talking about how many WWII shooters there are, but in my mind there are just as many modern or future shooters. I find the past age shooters more fun. |

Yeah, I was kind of disappointed in the campaign. Plus online for the game entirely (for the PS3 anyways) is bad except for the multiplayer. You can't even play online with another friend on the same PS3, you can't split screen anything involving the online system, but Spec Ops for example, is the main thing really. I know people love it and hate it, I didn't buy it, the PS3, game, and 50" Plasma is my roomates and I play it whenever he's not using it. :P These games just draw up a new type of no life human beings, but I love playing the multiplayer though even though I'm average, then again I'm not a shooter person overall, but somehow I still have fun, especially if I'm on a crazy killstreak. And yeah, pretty much it's going to win game of the year, it's already soooo popular (not in Russia though, it's banned). ------- |

@DA- "And yeah, pretty much it's going to win game of the year, it's already soooo popular (not in Russia though, it's banned)." That's because they added that stupid Airport scene. I still see it as being completely pointless and was only added to drum up controversy and shock value for the game, similar to how Rockstar does it's marketing for every GTA game. I mean, there was nothing in that Airport scene that couldn't have been conveyed in 2 or 3 sentences. It's not like MW2 or even MW are big on story, we're not talking about an RPG or adventure game here. I have no idea how the reviewers are able to say that that scene had any importance (then again, when was the last time reviewers and their reviews were actually credible). I didn't care really, I just saw the scene as pointless. It didn't elicit any emotion from me because Grand Theft Auto games have pretty much left me desensitized to that kind of thing, giving it slightly better graphics doesn't change anything. Also, with the number of news reports covering this kind of thing happening in real life, it's not like we aren't aware that that sort of incident does actually happen in the world. So again, I see no point in that scene other than a form of marketing and controversy. But anyway, I'm going off into a rage rant. |

Yeah that scene was obviously pretty controversial. The game's apparently war between Russia and the US. All that was you undercover as an American into that Russian group or whatever, but you get caught in the end. Wow, how many times do you get betrayed, fooled, and shot? lol P.S. I hated the GTA games. They were all the same to me, just different setting. ------- |

@DA- "Wow, how many times do you get betrayed, fooled, and shot? lol" That annoys me. It's only been 2 games and it's already an overused plot element. |

lol, yeah the online's been BSing me lately. So many losers camp, even guys near the max limit of 70 CAMP! N00BS! I'm trying to get to this super high rank, and stay ahead of my roomate, but he gets better games then I do, maybe cause his rank's lower and I'm near 50 playing with crappy teammates. And yeah, so many flaws online that happens to me almost every game. It's such a technical thing though, but it's still addicting if you get into the right game (if you're lucky). And yeah, roach, lol, the campaign was totally cracked. ------- |

the game is awesome, but i wish they gave a bit more gameplay in the solo mode, the co-op missions are great! but i cant play mutiplayer all the time, eats up my internet connection! its none the less awesome, the game does have a bit of frame rate issues some places and tearing, but its negligible . |

Ha, it's pretty possible now actually, time-length wise. I've still played with n00bs who boost to get nukes and stuff, which is lame. You hear about the Infinity Ward news? Two of their head staff was let go recently. I saw it in an episode of G4 recently, and the next COD game will be some action-adventure game. They're going to have a tough time with the Vietnam one in the future, but the next one might be something in Afghanistan. ------- |

lol, hello kitty island adventures. South Park? XD I'unno, the company's only been known to make COD games, plus there's never been an even average Vietnam game as far as I remember. It's going to be called something else though, so no MW3 cause Shephard died and it ended. ------- |

but Makarov is still on the loose and also capt. price and Mac Tavish is wanted by the world now, so that right there is most likely spoiled cause of a next sequel but... i'm just saying from my point. but from what i heard... their making Medal of Honor and it's gonna be Exactly like Cod with a slice of Battlefield: Bad company, read it in the Newest game informer and i dunno looks pretty good. |

Oh yeah, that's true. I thought we killed him or something. There's no way the Vietnam or Afhgan part will be a part of whatever, we'll call for now MW3 possibility though, plus there's the action-adventure game. I'm not sure if that's going to be the Afghan one or not, but I think the Vietnam one they might do is going to be its own game, like the other Vietnam war games already done. And yeah, new Medal of Honor. I have Battlefield right now though, and I'll be getting the new maps for free. There's the maps out for COD then, too, but they're going to be kind of expensive just for maps. ------- |
