Anyone out there have figurines or posters of any sort? Models, figurines, action figures, dolls, posters, wall scrolls, whatever you want to call them. Mainly anime or video game inspired ones. I have a few, not many though since they are hard to find here. Wing Zero model from Gundam Wing. Got it hanging in the corner of my room from the ceiling. Two Hakufu figurines from Ikkitousen. One on each side of my flatscreen. My monitor maids. lol Chimera figurine from Resistance 2. Sitting on my bookshelf with rifle in hand. Kikyo figurine from Inuyasha. Sitting on my bookshelf with bow in hand. I'll post pictures tomorrow, bed time now.    |

I have the Love hina, Capcom, Maburaho and Eva girls but are not on display. Since I can't find a good transparent case for them. I also have to be really careful getting figures since a lot of bootleg models are in the market here.  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

I have a classroom with students in seifuku. The setting includes desks, computers and other classroom accessories. It took years to put it all together and it is in scale. Teacher: Miss Kazame from Onegai Teacher Students: Ichigo Moreno, Karen Onodera and Mina Miyafuji from Onegai teacher. Rei and Asuka from Evangelion Haruhi Suzumiya,Mikuru Asahina, Yuki Nagato and Ryoko from TMoHS. All are in their respective school uniforms.  |

@rin- That sounds quite elaborate. Any chance you could show us? I'd love to see how that's set up. @Lu-Bu- Bootleg models? What do you mean by that? Figurines not made by actual companies or reproductions made from a base? I'd love to have the Love Hina figures though, loved that series. I'm posting pics of mine today, just have to get up and have a shower. |

@ Jon-san Wow 2 Hakufu characters!!! Nice!! I'm an advid collector of figures but i'm very picky of what i get. I have some criterias on what i want to own. First is how the character looks, the sculpting of the character has to look good (quality), 2nd the pose of the character & finally the affordability of the item. The earlier ones i got were unofficial ones (the ones that Lu bu-san mentiones. Mostly bought from Chinatown when i was younger. I'll post some pics as soon as i can. I'd expect no less from Izumo. Again, the Love Hina one I'd love to get. Kanu wouldn't be too bad, although I really just liked her spear weapon. I could have got Selphie and Tidus from FFVIII and FFX (they were there in the small shop where I get my anime stuff) but I really wanted Tifa or Vincent. I'm currently waiting to see if some Valkyria Chronicles figurines will come out. There is one of Alicia but I find that her face wasn't very well done, it might just be the picture though. I'll have pictures tonight. Recharging AA batteries since they're dead, and the digi cam is the only thing that can get a decent quality picture. |

The Love Hina figure is atop my TV along with some of the Ah! My Goddess ones. Many of the figures i have are still in there repective boxes cause i don't have the room/space to display them. The Kanu one is different...it is called Kanu Uncho 'Wet uniform' version...which kinda describes it to a tee. There is a inter-changable bust where it is 'damaged'...O.O literally!! I really wanna get something from Disgaea but they sell out so quickly before i get the chance to oreder them. A Rozalin one waa recently released...before i knew about it it was out of print. I would love to get her or one of Flonne, my fave character in the series. |

@Izumo- I wouldn't mind having some Disgaea ones too, although FFVII Vincent is the one I currently want most. The interchanging bust sounds like something that you'd love. Hakufu 1's dress can be changed but I haven't touched that. The only complaint I have with my Kikyo figurine is that her red hakama has gotten a little washed out. The box was covered with dust when I got it so I'm guessing it was there in the shop for a long time. Sorry for the really blurry pictures. My camera seems to hate me for some reason, the fully charged batteries died after like 7 shots. I put all of them up on top of my surround sound box next to my flatscreen so it would be easier to take pics. (All thumbnailed) Hakufu 1(Left side of flatscreen)  Hakufu 2(Right side of flatscreen)  Wing Zero(Hanging from ceiling. Got him in an action type pose. Also combined his rifle and shield into one weapon, leaving the other hand open for the beam saber)  Chimera(Sitting on the second highest shelf in my book case, just beside my DVD/Blu-Ray line up  Kikyo(Sitting on the highest shelf in my book case, in front of some books and beside my manga. She has an arrow but I couldn't get it to stay in place when I was taking the picture, so I left it out)  |

wow Jonathon, that is so cool I have a Yuki nagato not long ago And i've been planing on taking pics but I haven't ¬¬ bad dragon >.< That Kikyo looks very cool ^^ I'll take pics of yuki and post them >_<   |

@Rin- Darn. Really was interested to see that, it sounds elaborate. That's alright though, I know how camera's can be. @DN- You got that Dragon for Christmas too didn't you? Where is that currently sitting? I was thinking of getting a few more Inuyasha figurines since they are well made, but also cheap (From the shop I go to), costing maybe 30 dollars rather than the 80 or so usually spent on others. I think maybe Inuyasha, Sango or Naraku (Haven't seen Kagome there unfortunately, and not terribly interested in Miroku or Koga). |

Dear god Izumo-san, you've got a lot. I wish I had the wall room you have, I'm sticking posters and stuff all over the place. Very nice figures, although that Sailor V one on the bottom of pic 4 is kiiiinda creepin me out a bit. The Yuiko one is probably my favorite, mainly cause I love anything holding a katana or spear, cool poses. I wish I had display cases like the ones you have for the Disgaea mini figures, those would be nice to put mine in (I'm a collector type, but I'm not the hardcore kind that never opens things. I take the figurines out of the packaging because I like to display them as they should be). Side note: Exactly how many SM posters do you have? They're Everywhere! I'll be getting another figurine soon, although probably near the end of January since I have to sort out a few other expenses, either another Inuyasha one, or if I earn enough and everything is taken care of, a higher quality one. @Kira- They still count. I'd be all over those if they had them around here. |

Thanks Jon-san...though i know some who have twice as much as i do...ever seen those REAL Otakus? Those guys/gals are hardcore when it comes to these...sometimes i wonder where they come up with the cash for all those. As for the 'creepy' lookin Sailor V...that was made for me by a penpal of mine long ago (who i still keep in touch with from time to time)...it was a birthday present from her. She was like 15-16 at that time...she's in her 20's now. It may look funny but she did it from the heart so it meant alot to me :D That pose of Yuiko is actually one of her most well known poses when shown in drawings. There was another figure similar to this but i found this one was better sculpted. I keep the boxes of all the figures i have...since i don't have anymore room for alot of them i keep them in the boxes. Some of the ones i took pics of (Meer,Kaede,Yuiko,Sakura,Tomoyo) i took out of the box & put them back in after. This one from Disgaea i really wanted to get but was too late in pre-ordering cause i didn't know about it...Rozalin figure from Disgaea 2 also the $60+ price is a tad steep.... I have 3 that i'm hoping i'll be able to get (budget permitting) one of them...this one Kanu Uncho DVD jacket vers. or this one Belldandy very detailed! and finally this one MuvLuv Alternative Sumika Kagami My walls are plastered with many posters...most of them i got ages ago when i first got into anime seriously, which was around 1996. I don't have anymore space for more although my ceiling does has some space. Many of them are of Sailormoon, but i do have of Evangelion, OMG!, Macross, Final Fantasy 7-8, Parasite Eve & Xenogears (from the preorder of the game). If you want i can post a pic of my room though some may have already seen it when i posted in the 'Post a pic of yourself' thread. |

I believe I saw your room when you did that. I may get into ordering posters and things online since they are cheap to buy as well as send. There's just no-where around here to get anime stuff really, except online, which I haven't really gotten into much(The closest anime shop around here is, I believe, in St.John's. That's about a 3 day drive for me). |

awesome PVC figures guys! aside from jon's wing zero and the izumo's VF there's a shortage of mecha related stuff... we need more mecha! (heck i need to start saving up for gunpla XD) i only have these at the moment...    the rest are broken robots and action figures (why did i destroy my baxinger when i was a child?! WHY!) |

@Zparticus- Mecha are awesome, but it's apparently hard to ignore the call of anime girl figurines. XD Is that a Haruhi bag as well there in the back? Nice figures you've got there too, I recognize the Haruhi and Lucky Star ones, but what are the other two from? I don't quite recognize them. |

@jon yup that's an SOS bag in the back XD we were on the way home when i spotted that bag and noticed it had an SOS logo XD the other two pics are from kamen rider kabuto,magiranger, bokuenger and kamen rider kuuga! yeah i hear ya pal...mechas are awesome and anime girls are a nice alternative XD i was suppose to buy a HG gudam maxter and a HGUC rick dias kit but sadly the store ran out of gunpla..even the quite ugly (disfigured box) HGUC Quebeley was sold already it seems the store's super sale was a success...good thing i was able to grab the haruhi merchandise (and thank god most of the store's customers are narutards and bleach fans since they neglected the last remaining haruhi pvc figure!) |
