I would choose friends.... Its not because "love" itself could be temporary and friendship always lasts.... in fact, I've seen many friendships break apart much like lovers do... Its because friendship is easily found whereas love is not.... When you're old and your loved one has left you, you could still be friends with the neighbourhood children, women, man... you could find a friend at any corner... whereas how many people have you heard about finding love at 60? Its a rare occurrence indeed. Some will say, well then if you had to choose between your lover and friends, shouldn't it be your lover instead since love is so hard to find? Wrong... when you're in love and your lover really loves you... you should never ever be in a situation where you had to make that choice.... your lover should never make you give up your friends and if he/she does? You shouldn't be together....

I agree with Arc..when yous situation with your lover is real...there shouldn't be a case in which you have to choose between your friends and your lover...in my case...it would be so so hard to choose between them...friends are so important in ly life...but then you never kwnow when they will break apart...same with the lover...It depends on the situation...I can't choose. |

T_T can't choose either!! I mean, you never know what kind of situation you're going to be in or will be in so you can't really choose right now. Like what pame said, friends and lovers can both break apart..because you never know what might happen to destroy what friendship/love you have. So I think that it's best not to think about it until you are actually caught in a situation where you HAVE to make that decision. In the mean time, treasure what you have and never give up on yourself, your friends, family, or lover. ^-^ Ganbatte ne minna~!! ^o^

Sometimes u do have to choose. Not really one lives or ones dies, but u do have to choose one over another over little things Will u go to friends birthday or lovers birthday if on same day and u can only go to one? I favor my love over any friend or family. Jomunga eats your avatars. |

I agree with Jomunga. Personally though, I would go with my lover. Me and my only real friend don't have the whole "friends for life" thing going on. It'll probably only last until after college.    |

Jomunga made me think more about it... If I had to choose on my Lover's B-day or my friend's I would go to my lover's B-day XD |
