@ Jon Oh yeah you're right...i never really thought about that. Most of the battles in Destiny did involve Beam weaponry....& also Dragoons were used alot as well...was it me or every Gundam in Destiny had them. Ummm...if isn't there suppose to be some communication between the character designer & Fukuda?....that's a little surprising to hear. I edited my last post...the Gundams in both SEED & Destiny weren't all that impressive to me....especially Destiny's. Alot of them are just recycled from SEED....& when a new Gundam was introduced...oh look it's Freedom!...no it's Strike Freedom!....whoop dee doo! And again who the hell named the Destroy Gundam?! What kind of name is that!? Why don't ya call it "REALLY BIG GUNDAM" for pete's sake.... Both Seed & Destiny had there moments...SEED more often than Destiny....both have their flaws....Destiny more often than SEED.  |

@ izumo Strike Freedom is a ripoff of Nu Gundam one of the old gundam using the same technology as Strike Freedom the onlt thing that i like there is the METEOR but then again its is also a ripoff.. for short they are all recycled or modified...  --> |

I just preferred the mix between beam and shell weaponry in SEED. I didn't like the all beam combat in Destiny very much. (I do love the Akatsuki though, it's my most favorite suit in Destiny). @Izumo- Yes, DRAGOON's were used way too much in Destiny. It was cool in SEED because only the Providence had them and it was used in the final battle, sort of like a final boss if you will. I liked the Destroy Gundam, but I didn't like the name, it was a little....vague. I think they should have called it something like the Eclipse. Not only did they recycle suits, they also recycled super weapons. I mean, Neo Genesis? Come on, like Genesis needs to be mobile to be functional. I did like the Requiem though, I thought that was a cool weapon and concept. Again with the old series stuff. Can't you let it go? It's not like your seeing a cut and paste of a Gundam Wing suit in a Seed show. God.>.> I saw those old series too but you don't hear me whining "Oh, that's just a rip-off of another suit.". Get over it.    |

^__^ like em both.. seed and destiny.. especially when the pilots take off with their gundams.. in the opening #3 of GS .. believe.. i really like the start when kira launches with freedom >.< sorry! just talking crap here! |

Hahaha! don't worry Karuzo i kinda know how you feel. Most of the older series has more originality to them than SEED or Destiny, in terms of Gundams/weaponry/technology etc. Granted there are some original stuff in SEED & Destiny but alot of them have been recycled over the years...which is why some think that these series are a homage to the series that pioneered the way. Didn't SEED debut sometime around the time of Gundams aniversary....i forget what year...30th? Maybe it was intentional for all the similar comparisons to older series. Anyways hopefully the next installment of the Gunam universe will satisfy the old schoolers as well as the new genaration. @ Jon The Akatsuki was quite good....personally i liked the Providence from SEED as my fave from both series....it was different to anything i've seen. I did forget that Mu's ships did feature the Dragoon system...so they weren't entirely new. |

ahmm thats bcoz raww wanted to prove to Mu that he is better and what mu can do raww can do better. i think it was an episode on GS .. raww shouted it to mu when they were fighting.. Providence vs strike oh yay!providence is also my fav gundam.. the moves that raww created launching vertically while his dragoons attack kira horizontally.. it was a nice scene.. ^__^ sorry 4 my bad enlish! |

| well i think there are many issues can be discuss in this area...bcoz some people watch it only want to see the fighting scene and probably didnot care much attention to the story plot while other feel the other round..but 4 me, the only thing make me unhappy about destiny is the fact that freedom is lost to impulse and the fact that the freedom is reborn into strike freedom (its look bad i guess)...other than that,fine for me i think... |

| Personally i think Gundam seed destiny wasnt as good as i thought it would be but i love it non the less becos its apart of the gundam seed series and i get to see Strike Freedom. I prefer gundam seed becos gundam seed destiny has alot of scenes from seed and not as good anymore when u see alot of the same stuff. |

Definitely SEED. Destiny had no backbone for the pathetic excuse of a plot. SEED had a better one.

"SEED Destiny had the potential to be one of the greatest Gundam series" SEED/Destiny are no where close to being the greatest Gundam series. This is because they took too much from the older Gundam series. Also, SEED has gotten the most criticism out of Gundam fans. Both series never had the potential. The greatest Gundam series out there are the original Gundam series made from 1979-1989. That period brought about the first/best of Gundam. The mech in SEE/Destiny are another criticized point because some of the ones in SEED and most of the ones in Destiny are too much like the ones found in the original Gundam series (Universal century) and the ones in the later Gundam series (Alternate Universes). In short, I don't really recommend either, but go to SEED if you want because there are less originality problems there. Other than that, I suggest that you watch Gundam Wing, the original Gundam series, and any other Gundam series from the 90's/80's. Try Gundam X and G Gundam. They're good too.
