Did you know that the moment you came into this world, you started dying?

Did you know that the moment you came into this world, you started dying?
What does this even mean? If you are referring to the lossy nature of cell division, then you are dying long before you are even born into this world.
My interpretation of "dying" is the loss of healthy body function.
In which case, a human begins dying around 20, after they finish growing.
It's all down-hill from there :P

Did you know that Richard Feynman was the first person to see an atomic blast with the naked eye (without protective goggles)? He refused to wear the googles, after calculating that the windshield of his car would suffice as protection.

did you know that the bacteria multiply uber fast?
starting from a single E.coli, it doubles to two in about 20 minutes, then four in about 40 minutes and so on.

at this rate, in only 43 hours there would be enough E.coli to occupy the entire volume of the earth (1.09 x 10^21 cubic meters).

in only about two additional hours, these bacteria would weigh as much as the earth (6.6 x 10^21 tons).

did you know the symbols used on playing cards were supposed to represent the four classes of men: hearts represented the clergy; spades (from the Spanish word espada, or sword) represented the warriors; clubs were originally leaves and represented the peasants; and citizens and merchants were recognized in the diamonds.
