but.. but... THAT'S HOTLINKING! hotlinking is a crime~! A   C-R-I-M-E!!! actually we can Download and listen to the music on this site... =.= we can't just link to it! but still, be happy! you can download anime music for free right? ^^ EDIT: copy and pasted... ^^ written by gendou: Bandwidth theft or "hotlinking" is the act of direct linking to files on someone else's website on your website, blog, on a forum, or in an email or instant message. Bandwidth is the amount of data transferred from a website to a user's computer. When you view a webpage, you are using that site's data transfer to display the files. Since web hosts charge based on the amount of data transferred, bandwidth is an issue. If a site is over it's monthly bandwidth, it's billed for the extra data or taken offline. A simple analogy for bandwidth theft: Imagine a random stranger plugging into your electrical outlets, using your electricity without your consent, and you paying for it. *insert epic picture here* |

Exactly what Lady Maia said. Sorry but unless Gendou becomes rich and can afford to waste extra money on the site then don't expect there to be any hotlink lift. Also Gendou would have to have a heart of platinum to do that.^^; So in other words, don't even bother asking if he will reconsider it. It won't be happening. |

You can download the songs all you want; What's not allowed is right-clicking and copying the link to the song directly. If you download the song and put it on your own website, you can do whatever you want with it. So remember! A: Download, as in right-click > Save As B: DO NOT right click > Copy link location C: If you host the music on your own website or bandwidth, then you can do anything you want with it |

exactly what sachiel said. you may use the music in your own website, as long as you're not hotlinking. there are numerous ways of putting the songs to your site, and there ARE some sites that do this job for you. it's as simple as googling it. but, for the sake of helping you out, radioblogclub is one of them. so don't go right clicking and copying link location. that's EVIL!!! -michiyo- beware. the QueeN oF SiGGieS is here. kill that mr. scrolly or your siggy goes BAI BAI. it's solidarity month! let's be united! +[-- GeNDouNiaNS: i am half-back! visit my blog by clicking on the siggie banner! updated: 12.07.07 --]+

with all the free file hosting available these days, it is hardly an issue. not to mention geocities which has been around for years! besides, the whole background-music on a website thing is tacky as hell! why would you want to do that to your profile in the first place? |

have to agree with Gendou. It's kind of tacky. I don't see a need for it on a profile, personally I think bg music on websites are somewhat annoying[As I'm listening to music on the computer and then I go to a site where other music starts playing over mine.]but I guess that's your choice. Just google that and you should find a crap load of sites that will do it. |
