its just my prediction but her fever looks similar to misuzu sickness in some way hmm i just hope nagisa doesn't end up like misuzu as well xD

omg i hope not, that would be so depressing. people who played the game already, would know what could happen to her, maybe. she was ill before, causing her to miss nine months of school, thus repeating her senior year.

um... is this going to be a tear jerker anime?? like air??? i looked up to wiki and they didn't write anything but the general plot, i want to now nagisa plot, since that you all who been playing said it would be it. i'm not fond to tear jerker anime, which in the end they broke up, if they hooked up, well i stand my ground and watch it as happen i looked to school days also and one thing for sure, worst than Kimiga, what whit those people thinking when making that anime, making love, pregnant, rape, and murder, and last psycho, SUCKS i hope clannad didn't go that way..... i really hope....

actually i just checked and wiki do have a very detail plot of each character (not on clannad page, its on clannad character page). I recomend you not to read it though... its really big spoiler but don't worry the story won't end up like school days

@ Z-san You are welcome for the OST....although it's only the first disc it give you an idea of some of the music you'll hear from the series. @ DAngel-san & Raizoken-san I'll just say that the ending is something that you won't forget (Nagisa's ending)....there are similarities to AIR & KANON. Also DAngel-san has the right idea about her missing all that time & repeating her senior year. That is some very good deducing on your part. As for Raizoken-san question if this is gonna be a tear-jerker....well that is for those who watch it to decide....it's not my place to make that decision for you...if i did it may reveal spoilers. So i'm choosing my words carefully when i describe it. For me this isn't my fave 'visual novel' for nothing....for me it hits close to home (Tomoya's story) & after experiencing (it is an experience) it left this warm fuzzy feeling in me that i'll always remember. Although there are some events in the story that will leave you a little choked up...the end sad or happy will leave you....you know....hard for me to describe....^___^. Don't worry this isn't in the lines of School Days...the game was an all-ages game with a very deep storyline to get the player involved rather than sex & violence. So you needn't worry about rape, sex, murder or anything extreme. *Normal post* Saw the next episode....heh....we are introduce to the mascot of the series. Just like Sora (AIR) & Piro(KANON) was before. Here we have Botan (Button) in CLANNAD....he doesn't factor too much into the story....he basically is a comic relief character...that is the butt-end of alot of 'cooking jokes'....especially one character in particular. Fuko is at her AWESOME best....pay close attention to the Star carving she gives Tomoya...it plays a big role in her storyline. For the reason she gives it to him...well they are gifts for those she likes. The main reason she does it is for someone in particular....you'll see. Again Tomoyo sets another record with poor Youhei at the end of it.....i say it again he sure takes a beating. Seeing the preview for the next episode...i think another record will be set....after Yohei does something to Tomoyo....well most guys will know...ecchi! What else....the girl in the beginning is very important in the story....listen to what she says & does...when Tomoya starts having visions she'll be more prominent. Also the robot is important....there are alot of simple yet vital info in the story so pay close attention to figure out what is going on. I'll leave it at that for today....  |

(awww, look at all the forum colors. XD) Anyways, I'll pay close attention to episode three when I get it. I usually watch the episodes twice anyways. I saw episode one three times, and I think I saw episode two twice. If not with that, I'll see it before I see three. I also feel bad for Sunohara. I was a bit mad at him when he pissed off Tomoya when he was hanging up those posters to help get more members for the theater club. He said stuff on how he hated clubs and people who were a part of those clubs, and when he left Nagisa was standing right there. But all's forgiven when he gets his 455 pwn3d by Tomoyo! Dang, a record higher then 528 plus "ecchi?" Can't wait to see it. ^_~`

@ DAngel-san Actually the 'ecchi' part happens in the next episode...i noticed that Youhei was really beat up in the previews & if i remembered in the game he does something to Tomoyo that makes him look like that. In episode 3 he only gets beaten up as usual but with more hits than 528...it happens really fast too. Also later on he gets beaten up by someone other than Tomoyo....'Oink'...that's a hint. Yeah that part when Tomoya was hanging the posters was uncalled for by Youhei....a little inconsiderate to those who do care. OKAY....that is all for today for sure...with this thread that is....i'll let others discuss the next episode. Goo!!!night |

Hmmm what a weird 2 episodes... I guess those were some light jokes for the beginning. I really look forward to the story, since i'm a fan of key since i saw air... Anyway, the scene with fuko made me laugh... "paw" "yes... UGH" just like an obedient dog XD |

Ugh, how do I pick up a weapon in Tomoyo Fighter Plus? I'm only playing a demo, I'll dL the entire real game torrent after I get my internet upgraded or whatever. I picked up a piece of cake, but I forgot how I did it. Do you just stand still for a bit over a weapon to pick it up? I know the keys can be different on your settings though. It'd help me if I could pick up a bat or a knife. XD And about episode three, I'm going to see it in a bit after I figure out how to pick up a bat. ^_^

@raizoken well i saw it anyway, thx for the info *normal post* well i things it important for me to know that, because i usually don't go watching romance, comedy romance yes, but pure, it's just to much. and there things like kiminozo and school days, despise them so if it tear jerker then i have to prepare, i don't cry of course (like i can't cry) but it left something hurt in heart, so i usually avoid real sad story, it's another story for a heroic one,(the feeling is different) so now i know almost of the story, well because Izumo said not to give spoiler and we should see things on our own, i just hope, if it's nagisa story then, the one with happy ending should be the one, not the sad one.... after reading on wiki, i know that this is a good story, real good, but it's so sad if it going to be sad ending, just to sad...

Yeah, I can understand how you feel. I hate sad/mushy endings, too, but somehow it's like a "good" ending. I categorize them as a "bad" ending, since... I wouldn't prefer the ending to be how it official turned out to end. XP A good ending is one I'm hoping, although I have no idea what to expect. About the game, I Googled for some help and I read a bit about how to pick up weapons. It seems Tomoyo has more fighting moves for fighting, but can't pick up weapons. Hmmm, I haven't played with the other guy yet, maybe he can pick up knives and bats. I guess anyone can pick up food since they're like health and help you out. ^_^ Anyways, I'm going to go explore then watch episode three. Forgot to do so before I went to bed last night. ;P

Just saw episode three now, and yeah that combo was deadly. The funny part was when Tomoyo asked Sunohara which kick hurt more after he got kicked by Kyou. Not once either, he got kicked twice and they were both deadly... and add on a fast ball pitch with a blue book. >;3 That Fuko girl is really cute, more because her voice reminds me of someone, but I can't exactly remember who... Speaking of cute, that Botan pet that Kyou held was something else. Never saw a baby bore in an anime before. =^_^=

@ DAngel-san For Tomoyo Fighter Plus...Tomoyo can't use weapons (she does in the regular version though)...she has other moves to make up for it. Tomoya who is the other useable character can use weapons..maybe cause he's a guy :P As for Fuko reminding you of someone....just think Negima!?...Yup! Ai Nonaka-san does her voice...none other than Konoka!!! That's why it sounds so CUTE!!!! *squeal* Unlike Sora (AIR) or Piro(KANON)...Botan is just for comedy. He doesn't add any plot points. However Botan can really brighten your mood due to his actions...some of them are absolutely hilarious! I wonder if the anime will use most of them from the game. @ Otaku Prober-san & Hearms-san Try not to read Wiki too much or it'll ruin your experience....if you've played the game & know most of the story than using Wiki can reveal answers for questions that you had while playing. If you HAVE to use Wiki i recommend doing so after watching the series...that way you'll enjoy it more rather than knowing what already happens....which ruins the experience. Key games have a habit of really delivering an emotional story. They are either REALLY sad like AIR....or REALLY happy like KANON. As for CLANNAD i have an idea...but i'll sit back & see if it is what i think it may be. |

THAT'S IT! I knew her voice was familiar, dang! Fuko acts how her voice sounds like, but it's so cute! I was playing Plus earlier today using Tomoya and yeah it was easier using knives and bats. The pipes are kind of slow, so I didn't use those though much. The bosses are easy to beat. It's harder fighting them one on one, especially since Tomoyo is the fighter with better moves unlike Tomoya does better with more people since he can use weapons. I just lure them out far enough, do a running jump kick then a slide kick. If they get up, I'll use the basic kick or punch combo to take off some damage or grab and toss 'em and do the sliding baseball slide kick. >;3 Overall though, they're not a problem. Botan reminds me of Potato from Air TV. Potato says "Piko", and Botan says "Puhi."

I'M BACK FROM THE DEAD! Ok well, saw episode 3 and I definitely get a better warmish feeling than the game does so the anime is doing a better job ^.^ @DA-chan, Haha, that is typical of Key to put in something like that. OoOoOOoOoo, how can you survive getting kicked 700+ times? Man, he's getting a worse beat down than Kitagawa in Kanon XD  |

I think the two kicks from Kyou were even worst, especially the second one when he said he saw a glimpse of something "blue." The 743 Combo kick was like a simple push to him, but it looked insane though. He was like, 'you trying to kill me?' Geez, is he ever going to learn? One thing I forget to mention in episode three was the part where he was "half asleep." He thought Tomoya was a hologram, then after that, a Cyborg, lol. Sunohara's reaction to certain things though, makes me laugh. The expressions on his face are really funny, cause his eyes get all big 'n' whatnot.

3rd episode is really funny... there's always something funny going on in every scene... the funniest scene that i find funny was when okazaki made sunohara believe that he was a hologram and a cyborg... hahaha. some other funny scenes i like are: nagisa's mother overreacting over their bread's sleaziness then his father chases her with a mouthful of bread in his mouth, sunohara drawing a wrong conclusion on tomoyo's gender and ibuki mindlessly doing what okazaki tells him to do. btw, what's the name of that cute little boar that always says puhi puhi XD |
