Sailor moon, Dragonball and Samurai Pizza Cats. My first official anime was Gundam Wing though. That is, I became aware of the difference with GW. |

ok...processing buried information...My neibor totoro by miazaki san!!! have any of you ever seen it? totoro is the coolest cat thingy i have ever seen. lol. he is so **** awsome.

I saw my first anime when I was 6 in 1995. It was the 1st episode of the 2nd dub Dragon Ball. Gokuh had digital underwere and a tail, plus dub music which is probably why I didn't like it. Then whenever it was when Dragon Ball Z came out I saw some of that and this time the music was worse. I didn't like DBZ either at first, but I watched it anyway and tried to ignore the music and constant voice changing. Now that I've started watching it in Japanese it's much better, but It's thanks to Inuyasha getting to keep all of music that I like anime as much as I do now. |

Said it in other threads....very first was....(drum rolls)... SABRE RIDER AND THE STAR SHERIFFS....nobody knows this show :( and also Robotech....Macross saga only....Sailormoon got me hooked to anime...okay said this too before....mainly cuz of Minako-chan ^.^XOXO  |

| Tonari No Totoro (My Neighbour Totoro) ~_~ I saw it with my japanese friend Roger about 15 years ago (I'm 22). ( And yes his name was Roger Koshima. . . he had a kansai accent.) (also I did watch some Robotech and Astroboy before them but well I was too young to remember them and never payed attention to Robotech. . . I used to ask my uncle why their mouths move funny when they talk. ¿^^) |

I think its safe to say that sailor moon and the dragon balls was a first for a lot of people, its like gateway drug for anime. My first was was tekkaman blade(technoman) back when it was on upn on sunday mournings.
If you can make sense of End of Evangelion's last episode then your a f**king genius

I think my first anime was Speed Racer, when I was probably about 3 or 4.
