@Ray- Oh I shall be on for days to come. Believe me. I hope you and Izumo are both on sometime, it would be awesome to have you join in. I haven't even gotten the chance to play against Izumo yet though. |

@ Jon-san Oh sorry about that! I didn't realize that you wanna jam together on Sunday. I had along day so i crashed as soon as i got home. Since i last posted i haven't had the chance to play more of Killzone which sucks!!! If you have sent a PM through PSN i'll reply to it on the day i can go online. I do know that on Wednesday i'm pretty much free all day so i'll probably see you & anyone else there. I also am going to pick up a headset soon too. Maybe when i wake up on Wednesday i'll go to Bestby/Futureshop/EB to get one. *EDIT* Damn you for beating Radec before the 20min time limit....miss it by 8 secs!!! ARRGGHHH!!! I wasted alot of time trying to get rid of those rocket launcher guys & reviving damn Rico who is always getting killed for some reason. I died alot in my first playthrough cause i was experimenting with the controls, weapons & the like. Accidentically killed myself a few times with the rocket launcher & grenade throwing. Also i died many times when we had to storm the palace, it seemed the enemies kept on coming & coming, finally figured out that the closer you get the less enemies respawn. |

I should be free on Wednesday night, I work 11-7 then, so I'll be free from like 8 until 2 in the morning. If me, Izumo-san and Ray are on we should get into a match or two together with some bots. I haven't checked to see what time I beat Radec in, it felt longer than 20, but that might have been because I died like 4 or 5 times. I didn't beat the Heavy Trooped in under 1m 30sec though, so you've got one trophy I don't in terms of that. |

Anyone here have any gameplay videos to post up (of themselves of course)? I've been trying to get either a DVD recorder or a VHS to DVD box but both are kind of expensive so I probably won't have them for a little while. I could always rig it with a camera I suppose. |

I've had my eye on a VHS to DVD recorder (or possibly just a DVD recorder in general, they're the same price) for a while now, but I never get it. It's about 100 bucks. If I make enough money this Friday I need to try and make the commitment to get it. |

The thing is, I would like to know if anyone would actually Watch my gameplay videos if I were to make them, as in if anyone would be interested in seeing them. I'm not sure if the 90 dollars is worth investing because I don't know if I will make them for a long time for people to watch. |

@krosis- I'm not talking about recording from a Computer though, I'm talking about my PS3/PS1/PS2. My laptop doesn't have a video capture card and they tend to be unreliable anyway (I tried one that I took from the other computer in our house and installed it on my old desktop and it didn't work well at all), so I'm thinking of getting a VHS to DVD converter or a DVD recorder so that I can record while I play and simply transfer the videos to my laptop. Also, in other Gamer News, Killzone 2 has bots patched in again. If any other Killzone 2 owners are up for it I'd love to have a match. |

@kros- Well my sister gas a Cannon ZR 900 which she never ever uses. It would do the job alright if I could get a good audio capture, but the thing is I need a 30 dollar Firewire cable in order to take that from Mini DV to Computer. So I think I'm better off trying for a capture device of some sort. I'm just not sure which is the better way to go. If I got the converter box, I would have to hook my PS3/PS2 up to my SD tv (although it wouldn't matter about the standard Definition in the PS2/PS1 case) and record the footage on a VHS tape. Then convert it to the computer. My only concern about this method is the quality of the capture since it was caught on VHS. A DVD recorder would be a good method as long as it is able to capture a decent amount of footage at a high quality. I would basically just have to exchange the VCR with the DVD recorder. I have lots of spare blank DVD's I could use. I don't know, I may hold off on this for a while longer and try to capture some clips of me playing with my regular old digital camera. Webcams wouldn't do the job well enough, really bad framerates. By the way, that was not horrible, that was a good run. Did you have it set to turbo or did you speed the video up a bit? It seems a bit faster than what I remember turbo mode to be. |

@Jonathon: have you tried recording anything with it? and the audio capture is..blegh? How much are you willing to dish out? there's some good cameras around $200 but that's a bit much, considering the economical status today. The old digi cam should do a great job =] do you have any vids you've taken from it on youtube or anything?? [thanks, yeah! turbo was on, no video editing. I think it was faster since Vergil had unlimited DT and he usually moves twice as fast.] |

I haven't tried with the Digi camera. I would probably get a decent video capture with that but I can forget about capturing audio with it, Digi cams are no good for audio. The Camcorder I have not tried getting video from, because as I said, I don't have the 30 dollar Firewire cable for it and it doesn't come with one. Buying a new camcorder is also way more expensive than buying the converter thingy. I think I'll just try and capture some video with the digi cam and replace the gameplay audio with music or something. If that doesn't work out well then I guess I'll try and commit myself to the converter. |
