OMG group 7 is GREAT!! ^-^ @Yinzhao wow~!! great voice!! i thought that some parts were a bit off..but maybe that's just me! ^^ overall, it was really good! ^-^ @Kiyaru awwwww i love your voice! it's sooo cute!! try practicing on ur high notes a bit and you'll do even better! ^-^ @Ayame great singing~!! but i think that the song was a bit too low for your voice, but it was great anyway~!! ^^ @Hikari zomg Kaze no Machi e~!! i love that song!!! ^^ and you did really well!! you should be more confident in your singing though, don't hold back~!! ^-^ GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE IN GROUP 7~!! you all did GREAT!! ^-^ yeeeey~!!

eeeeh omg they're up! I love all songs.. especially Hikari's XD but they were all good.. I wrote up a longer post with critique but then my innet logged me off T_T too tired to rewrite it >_< maybe I will later..

Well, here is my two cents: @Yinzhao: As always, great singing. Everything about is excellent. One thing though, the style of the song doesn't seem to suit your voice. By that I mean when I listen to your song, I feel this wild, sexy energy. Your voice has a very pure tonal quality. I feel it isn't matching up with the style. *I am sure it is just me* Anyways, you sound wonderful. And oh, you seemed to get into the song more as it progresses. Maybe you need more warm-up time. ^__^ @Kiyaru: Love your singing. You hit every note right on. I wish you can singing with more emotion and power. Great job. Ayame: FA summed it up. The song might be too high for your voice. I thought the low part was OK. OH, I really like your voice quality. I really dig the scratchy quality. Seriously, I found it sexy to listen to, similar to Stevie Nicks. You don't smoke, do you? JK @Hikari: Nice try. Like FA said, be confident in your singing. It really does come through the voice. Remember, when you sing, you are the center of your stage. So act like it. ^___^ Good luck to all of you. |

Hey, I'm not a vocal instructor or anything, just giving my thoughts gehehe: @Yinzhao: The song proves your versatility -- a brilliant performance. *thumbs up* @Kiyaru: Wow a Shimokawa classic... it was great! Nice song choice, plus you have good pitch and range. If my ears still don't fail me you missed one high note, but it's hardly noticeable at all (or maybe it's just me). Overall it's a beautiful listen. Gotta luv Mikuni's songs. ^^ @Ayame: It was nice -- practice more on controlling your voice (the intonation, dynamics and whatnot) and you could do even better. @Hikari: You did good! I agree with FA and Without You -- confidence! I vote for... not yet.  |

this is just mah opinion @yinzhao: nice job, nothing else to say ^^ *thumbs up* @kiyaru : you also did a great job, and it's a good song too, but you missed some pitch,but over all is good, cuz it's hardly noticeable (^^ quote from erkun) @ayame : my comment for you is same like erkun ^^ so no need to write it twice @hikari : waaa kaze no machi ^^ mah fave, but your pitch didnt match with the song, ^^ may be it's too low for yah or too high i dont know ^^ |

Okay I have one bit of critique at no individual in particular lolz please KNOW what you're singing... and please sing the lyrics right. <_< its very distracting to listen to someone sing and lose the lyrics and brabble on anyway. kiyaru - don't be afraid to change pitch when you're supposed to go higher or lower =D the song was great and the singing too but it sounded a bit like you were holding back as soon as you had to sing a higher note. so don't hold back! ^^ as for the critique i got =D I knew that was coming. Everyone is always complaining about me when Im singing songs that are not cute. But seriously. This is my favorite song ever, and honestly, I HATE cute songs. I love this song. When I was recording this I was like dancing in the room with my mic in my hand, but apparently you guys can't hear I had fun singing this since my voice just sucks with energy (like.. ICD will probably write up in an insane long critique XD) Also, the people that have heard my singing before know that in this song I am singing this in my normal voice with a slight twist in it to make it sound more jazzy. Though I didn't sing it extremely sharp like the original because I like to keep my voice sort of recognizable, and I like to actually SING it instead of just shouting or screaming it XD. The high notes in this song KILLED MEEEE lool. I think the whole block heard me screaming those high notes when I recorded it T_T Im stuck with kaze no machi in my head now =DDD gotta watch the anime again... lolz ooh btw Hikari, confidence. <_< it sucks really.. cuz when lots of people say your good and theres only ONE who says you sing bad then your confidence drops really low.. Anyway, just believe in yourself >_< you know you can sing =D

Group 7 is still up! @ Yinzhao: I don't have a problem with you not singing cute songs :P I think the song fits you pretty well...haha, i can imagine you dancing around ^^ it IS a fun song...and the point is that you had fun!!!!! Don't get mad ne~ I think you did really well ^^ As for the high notes...you did your best to reach them, and that's good that you tried ^__^ I like the style you put in your song. @ Kiyaru: Alone!!! OMG i love that song!! I can never sing her songs right >.< you have a really cute voice, and it fits the song right ^^ Just work on the few offtune notes, and it'll be great ^^ The timing was all great. It seems like you need more power in a few places though. Nice~ @ Ayame: Nice song choice!! it fits you well!! I like the few effects you added to make it sound unique ^^ I couldn't hear you well in a few places, but it's not a big deal...and there's a few sour notes, but if you fix all those it'll be a great cover ^^ great job~ @ Hikari: :3 my dearest Hikari. Kaze no Machi he is a good song for your voice, believe it or not. It's slow, and it doesn't require a lot of high notes. You were singing it pretty well!! Just the usual critque from me...more power!!!! Plus, you must sing better in real life...your mic probably just doesn't like you xDDD the singing style was good. nice job~ Woo!! Group 7!! ^^ |
