Anyone can`t join now.. you have to wait to the next gendou idol contest. DN: lol.. but what are the goals of the S.O.D. and also the vision.. isnt it to help bad singers to become better ones..?.. well anyways im joining for sure to the S.O.D.. since my voice is not good indeed ja ne!.

GROUP 7 RESULTS: JUDGE JOSH Tokinoito Song Selection: 3 - Nice pick for your voice. It's right within your range so you don't have to strain on any highs or lows. Technique: 2 - You stay on key without going flat, but you don't really express any advanced vocal techniques. Interpretation: 1 - It's a very bland performance. Rather than using your head/falsetto for the higher notes in the chorus, you should really open up, sing from your diaphragm and belt out the notes. Otherwise, you end up losing all emotion. Personal Appreciation: 2 - You have an ear for music, you just need to work on technique and confidence. Overall Score: 7 Olinca Song Selection: 3 - Nice pick for your range. The song gives you a chance to show off a bit as well. Technique: 2 - You have a wonderful tone and a strong vibrato when you use it. You do, however, go flat at times. Interpretation: 3 - You have a wonderful energy about you, but you tend to hold back a bit on some of the higher notes. You have no problem belting out the same exact note at certain points in the song, so I wonder why you hold back at others. Personal Appreciation: 3 - All in all, it's a nice performance. The recording is pretty muggy, but not so bad that I can't tell what's what. Overall Score: 11 Zerul91 Song Selection: 4 - You have a deep voice and picked a song that fits well for you. A lot of baritones try to sings songs that are beyond their range and end up suffering for it. You didn't, however... Very nice choice! Technique: 4 - You're on key and have a very mellow and relaxing tone. I also like your use of vibrato and overall vocal control. Nice use of harmonies as well. However, I'd like to be able to hear them a bit more. The background vocals are almost non-existent at certain points. Interpretation: 3 - Conveying emotion at such a low key can be tough, but managed. There are some points in the song that seem a bit bland. But, for the most part, you pulled it off. Personal Appreciation: 4 - I'm totally being biased on this particular score, but that's what Personal Appreciation is for. It's nice to hear a good bass/baritone for once in this contest. Overall Score: 15 Sakura222 Song Selection: 2 - It falls within your range, but this is a song that needs a type of energy that requires the used of your diaphragm. So, in that regard, it was a bad choice for you. Technique: 1 - You're on key, but you don't do much other than that and even get pitchy at certain parts. You should work on singing arpeggios. It'll increase your range and help you hit those notes correctly. In order to overcome that, you'll need to master singing from your diaphragm as well as gain some confidence in your performance. Personal Appreciation: 1 - You get one for trying, but I'd strongly suggest working on what I mentioned above. DN Song Selection: 0 - This song wasn't really a very good pick for a solo singer. And even as a solo singer, it seems as though you chose the wrong octave of the two to sing at. Technique: 0 - You're off key for a great deal of the song and have a generally flat tone of voice. You get better as the song goes on, but you should really be rehearsed enough to stay on key from the start. Interpretation: 0 - Again, you have a very flat tone for most of the song. Most of it has to do with the song lacking dynamic to begin with. The other big factor is that the octave you chose to sing at lands in a very casual point in your vocal register. It's tough to sing something within that personal range with any type of dynamic or emotion. Personal Appreciation: 1 - You get one for trying... Overall Score: 1 JUDGE SELECTION: ZERUL91 JUDGE PAME Tokinoito Song Selection:3 Technique:2.5 Interpretation:3 Personal Appreciation: 3 Comment: Nice song, pretty mellow. Just be more confident in your singing and let your voice out. You sound a bit insecure, so with practice, you will sound better. Olinca Song Selection:3.5 Technique: 3.5 Interpretation : 4 Personal Appreciation: 4 Comment: I love this song, it is fun! I enjoyed your interpretation, you added good energy into the song. My only complaints are that you sounded a bit flat at the end of the higher notes, be careful with that. Also I had a hard time understading what you were saying, I know the song is difficult because it is fase and the phrasing is crazy, but make sure you over enunciate your words, otherwise it sounds as if you are babling. Zerul91 Song Selection:4 Technique: 3.8 Interpretation:4 Personal Appreciation:4 Comment: I enjoyed this performance. You chose a song that goes with your range. You used good emotions but I feel you could have added more into it. More feeling. Either way, good use of technique. I liked your vibrato. Be careful with some of your lower notes, at point it sounded as if you struggled. Sakura222 Song Selection: 3 Technique:2 Interpretation: 2 Personal Appreciation: 2.5 Comment: Where did the energy go? The song was good but you sounded too shy, almost scared. Try to sing with more confidence. Also try and practice the melody so your intonation does not suffer. DN Song Selection:2 Technique 1 Interpretation 1 Personal Appreciation 2 Comment: Umm..what to say. Let's see, at point I felt you were speaking rather than singing ^-^ and you need to practice your intonation. Good news is...you actually sang the right note on the chorus! JUDGE SELECTION: ZERUL91 JUDGE CHARLOTTE [Tokinoito] 11/20 Song selection: 3 Technique: 3 Interpretation: 3 Personal Appreciation: 2 Comment: You have a really pretty, soft voice. You have good tonality, and your voice is really soothing to listen to. [Olinca] 13/20 Song selection: 4 Technique: 3 Interpretation: 3 Personal Appreciation: 3 Comment: You have a really cool voice and I really like this song a lot. It was really interesting to hear it in Spanish. [Zerul91] 14/20 Song selection: 3 Technique: 4 Interpretation: 3 Personal Appreciation: 4 Comment: You have a really nice mellow voice. You kind of sound like the lead singer of Crash Test Dummies. It sounds like you're trying too hard on some of the notes like you're scooping into them, but overall I really love listening to you. [Sakura222] 10/20 Song selection: 3 Technique: 2 Interpretation: 2 Personal Appreciation: 3 Comment: You have a nice voice, but I think you should work on some breathing techniques because it will help you sounds stronger and also you'll be able to get onto those high notes a little cleaner. Also, it almost seems like you're taking a breath after every thought you complete, when some of those could benefit from being held out longer and being connected. [DN] 8/20 Song selection: 2 Technique: 2 Interpretation: 2 Personal Appreciation: 2 Comment: I found this song to be very boring. I don't feel like I got a feel for your voice at all. The song seemed very monotone, and I'm not sure if it was meant to be that way, but it just didn't hold my interest. I'm sorry if I'm being harsh, but I think that you should pick a more challenging song next time and show us what you're really made of! JUDGE SELECTION: ZERUL 91 JUDGE BENNY: Tokinoito Song Selection:3.5 Technique:3 Interpretation:3 Personal Appreciation: 3 Comment: Your intonation is on spot most of the times. Just be careful with the low notes. Try to add more energy and personality when you sing. Gosh darn it! I want to wait for more votes before I count, but with college orientation, I don't get too much access to a computer. After I do an initial count, can someone please help Pame out so she or someone else higher-up doesn't have to count?
