Hello everyone! Sorry for the long departure! Here's a new one for me, in honor of one of favorite new actresses, Summer Glau. Summer Glau by ~Chrono-Kira on deviantART Enjoy! Now then, @Ninja Soup, thanks a lot for the kind words, I'm happy you liked El Fro, lol. Pic 1: Both the extreme angle and the unique pose make this work especially fantastic. Commented and faved on DA. Loved it! And yea! A coloring tutorial would be much appreciated! Thanks so much for the offer too! @Ich, thank you very much, very much appreciated! Pic 1/2: I love the silhouette of Allen, it's really slick. The full version is just plain excellent though! Very dark, stylish, and a bit macabre. He looks really creepy/cool, and resembles Edward Scissorhands and the new Joker a bit, really cool design! Pic 3: It's very inspiring just seeing your workplace...it looks really cool... Pic 4: Really cool piece from you, there's a great melancholy mood evoked, and I like the sketchy visual style a lot too, as well as the pose. As for the girl...any hints? The city scene is really bustling and alive, and it reminds me of the marketplace in FF12 too. The architecture is really cool, great work! Pic 2: Shiky has a cool look and an awesome pose! It's a great example of how distinctive your art style is. Pic 3: Absolutely amazing pose, I love how dynamic she looks biting the handwrapping. Great work! Pic 4: Really cool work here, the new pose you experimented with really worked, and the coloring accentuated the design. Really cool! Pic 5: *gasp* AWESOME!!! I totally love this one, you've totally topped yourself! It oozes style and looks like it belongs as cover art for a video game or something from Metal Slug. I really like the cool look you made too, definite fave! Pic 6: It's really cool to see your sister's work again! I like the character design a lot, great work from her. @Darky, thanks! Pic 1: COmmented and faved on DA, great piece. @Vincent, ohhh, so sorry, I haven't seen School Rumble before, lol, I'll check it out though sometime. Pic 1/2: What a beautiful model. You've captured a lot of the defining details in her appearance very well, and her anime version actually isn't bad at all. As for suggestions, frankly, practice is all I can say. You've laid the foundation and are beginning to grow artistically. Pic 3: Excellent! So good to see such a vast improvement from you, and I'm happy that guide was useful to you! The faces you drew really look awesome. @Chibi Blur, Pic 1/2/3/4/5: Very cute sketches, I really like the girl you drew in the second pic, very well done! Pic 6: I like the glowing look this angel sketch has, it's pretty well done. Pic 7: Easter! Love those eggs... @w00t0s Pic 1: Death Note!!!! Awesome!! What more can be said? Pic 2: lol, cute chibi strip. Poor L... Pic 3: Excellent expressions here. What are Rolos? Pic 4: What a charming version of the characters. It would be great to see more. Pic 5: I really dig your enlightenment piece! It's very stylized and modernistic! Both characters look totally unique and really interesting. Pic 6: Unbelievably cute one. Perfect expressions from both Near and L! lol, really well done. @Rin 8, Pic 1: Good attempt at realism! And yea, I guessed it might be Gackt. Pic 2: I remember his look in the video, and you actually captured it pretty well. Not bad at all! @Red, Pic 1: Great character compilation sketch! I especially like the designs for Shin and Mia. @Jakoshroom, commented and watched you on DA. Nice pics! @Suzaku, Pic 1: Great piece here, the hair and the expression are both very well done and implemented. @Munki, welcome! Pic 1: Really amazing piece here, it would be great to see it finished, but it looks pretty awesome regardless. @ Ich Amazing drawing! I have no idea who it is, though. @ROQ It's way better than my attempts at drawing real people... It actually looks realistic. Umehito Nekozawa - OHSHC by ~Rin8 on deviantART Nekozawa from Ouran High School Host Club (Ouran Koukou Host Club). I haven't drawn the background yet, since I'm lazy, and all of Bisco Hatori-sensei's houses are all so elaborate... All those cats on the wall... I'm also going to draw his sister, but yet again, I'm too lazy. The words in the top right corner say "Ufufufufufufu..." which is one way to write the sound of an evil laugh in Japanese. The line across the middle is where my little sister folded it. His arm and the Bereznoff (or however it's spelled) puppet are both too small... I might finish it someday, or it might take six months like it did for me to start working on the Crusnik again.

Almost my bedtime....it's almost 3am...& i'm still working on one of my drawings....*sigh*...it'll get done eventually. Anyways i'll only comment on the ones i see on the page. I did notice some nice art so sorry for not commenting on them...*gomen* @ Suzaku-san - Unfortunately i have no idea who that is....however i can say that whoever it is they look great! I like the fine detail of the hair, the shading is very nice as well...though some of the lines i see seem to obstruct some of the pic a bit, especially the area under the chin & across the face. Besides that it is a nice portrait. @ Munki-san - Very smooth & fine line art! Some very sharp detail as well. Is it an original character or is it fanart. Either or...it looks super! Can't wait to see the finished project. - Don't worry...i know how you feel...ocasionally i get lazy as well..the main obstacle in my pursuit of being a true mangaka. @ Rin8-san - You did a pretty decent job considering it was using MS Paint. I agree the eyes & the hands are very nicely done. The level of detail for such a simple drawing is what caught my eye. The only thing that could use some work is the shading to make the pic not look so 'flat'. However i do understand it was done in a way that it may have been difficult to achieve that. Also i noticed that the hands should be facing the inside so that you can only see the knuckles...if it was the left hand you are showing than what you drew is more accurate. Since it is the right arm you are showing than it should be the other way around. - Your 2nd pic is also nicely done...i like the detail in the drawing. The mysterious look to the character is good. - Sorry if i pointed out some errors...i hope it doesn't deviate you from continuing to draw. I know with some more practice you'll create something beyond spectacular!!!! @ Ich-san - Oh...i see you are back using your charcoal style again. Even though i love your colored pics...i find your charcoal style more of an insight to your inner self. if that makes any sense :P? I mean it brings out your personality out more. - So the pic is of Eureka....the anime version right? Not the Gendou member? It's a simple yet very strong emotional pic. You can see the anquish & pain of the character without seeing their actual face. Beautifully done as always! @ Roq-san - That name sounds familiar....but i can't remember exactly what she has done...XD - Anyways as always you seem to capture the likeness of whoever you try to draw very well. I'm always in awe of your 'life-drawing' techniques...much better than me that's for sure. I seem to have forgotten how to draw 'real-life' people anymore. Everything other than the face i can do.....well at least i can get my fix of reality with your art!! Okay....i guess that's it for today. Thank for taking the time to post your artwork! @all Whooo....i'm finally back....! I've solved my problem by buying a mini keyboard. Okay...i'm a little lazy to give comments to all drawing that i missed during my absent....but thanks to all people who has give some comments to my last drawing. And now....i'll flood this thread by posting a lot of drawings (actually it's from the last one, but i separate all characters). They are from my next conceptual novel...Doubutsu no Monogatari... This cat-boy is Shin.  This normal girl is Aya Sakurako.  This bunny girl is Tami.  THis cat girl is Mia.  This mermaid is Mizuho (although she doesnt resemble a mermaid...)  The left one, a white eagle Hayate, and black dog, Kurosawa  Okay...the quality compared to my other drawing and other user's drawing is very bad...i know that..... But please enjoy that and you might give any comments....   |

I have a question.. do you smudge some of it before drawing or you smudge after? @ROQ: great work as usual; thanks for the fav ^^ @Mr. Mushroom: Kinda reminds me of Ultra Maniac ^^ great ^^ @Red: It's okay.. did you do those on MS Paint (pointing at jagged lines)? They're actually great regardless of the fact they have problems.. if you do them like that try resizing them on a lower size (probably half the original) and they would look better than full sized.. Aya looks the best of all ^^ --- new art!!!!! erm here:  done on valentines.. no "relation" to it thought.. just random stuff I'll post more tomorrow.. I'm tired now..

I guess i'll having something up by hopefully tommorrow....One is of Lacus (a more orignal one than the last one i posted) the other a character from an anime currently airing which is full of fan-service! I'll let you guess who it is. @ Rin8-san No worries...the more i think about it the more it doesn't really matter. It could've been an example of how they did stuff in older times...like ancient wall art. I was looking at some greek artwork the other day & the hands were shown like how you did them. It is like an artistic representation. You don't really need to fix it....like i said it looks great nonetheless! Nice job using an older program like MSpaint. @ Mr.mushroom-san WOW!!! i hope your friend appreciates such a pretty picture! It looks really professional if i say so myself. The simple yet delightful look of your character. Fabulous work!!! @ Red-san Again you have a wonderful imagination in creating original characters. Their expressions & look of each character are very good. The coloring seems a tad dark but who am i to judge since i suck at coloring...so ignore that comment! i'm just stupid :P Not overly important...but maybe you can post each drawing side by side so it is better to compare each of them....again not a big deal...that's just me babbling again. @ Darky-san Nice looking sketches...ummm....what's with the Nazi swastika symbol? O_O!!? That may offend some people...so becareful of what you use. A simple 'X' would've been more appropriate. Overall it looks good! @ Suzaku-san I guess i need to work on my 'mind-reading' skills.....ehe...XD No worries...we all get lazy sometimes...so i shouldn't be too detailed about stuff. Hopefully you'll do a better job on Nagisa than i did....:P |

@izumo: thanks ^^.. Oh is that symbol offensive? I've seen some t-shirts and buttons with that symbol.. btw I've just finished watching Kanon, and it gave me tons of inspiration.. XD I can't wait for your work ^^ ---- some more upload.. One of my first colored works.. Jun. 15 2007  recent.. Feb 13 I think... Just random stuff again.. I don't know what martial art they are doing XD and the girl's leg is too long XO

THey are so awesome! @Ich- Ooh, charcoal drawing~ wow, that's pretty serene, although it feels sorrowful (is it supposed to be like that?)... overall, very nice! ^^ @ROQ- Thanks for commenting on my artworks ^^ Really appreciate them! Rolos (a Cadbury product) are small chunky chocolate pellets that has sticky caramel filling inside. It's not that popular chocolate, but there is a catchphrase which says "Can I have your last Rolo?", that somewhat makes the choc well-known ^^ @mr. mushroom- that looks pretty neat and lovely! ^^ @darky- woW~! I love the colouring! I don't have time to properly comment on the new art...when i post the finished drawings i'm working on i'll do it then. Anyways it's been awhile since i posted something so here is a little taste of whats new.  *thumbnailed*Any guesses on who it might be? I was too lazy to scan the pencil drawing..i'll do that for the others later. Simple line-art of the main character of Rosario + Vampire...Moka. Some probably figured that out. |

Hello everyone! Now then, @Rin 8, thanks for the comment. Pic 1: I like the mystery of the pic here, the character in the middle looks intriguing. Very nice work, finished or not. @Ich, lol thanks for the 100/10!! I didn't even know that was possible! Ahh, it IS Eureka! The dress looked very familiar. Great work! Pic 1: I love the thumbnails you created, very stylish. @Izumo, Summer Glau is a science-fiction actress currently playing the "good" terminator on the Terminator TV show. Thank you so much! I'm happy you said everything you did, and I'm sure your real-life work is just as excellent as all else you've done. It is hard switching styles though, I tend to see too much of an anime influence on anything I draw nowadays, even real-life. Pic 1: WOW! I've been looking forward to your new stuff, and I'm not disappointed at all! It's completely skilled, very appealing, and extremely sexy, and it has that one-of-a-kind "Izumo touch". Excellent work, man. Great, now I have a nose bleed too. @Suzaku, thanks very much! @Mr. Mushroom, Pic 1: I love the waitress pic you drew! It looks amazing and the character is really cute. Excellent coloring as well! @Red, Pic 1/2/3/4/5/6: It's great seeing these characters colored in! Each one has a lot of personality and looks stylish. I like the animal ears motif a lot too, especially on Tami. @Darky, thanks for the comments! Pic 1: Great sketch, and I'm relieved that Izumo pointed out the symbol. I see you didn't know about it though, so it's quite excusable. It actually used to be a symbol for peace before it was misused, and eternally condemned by association, because of the Nazi movement. The two characters look really great though, and their expressions are very nicely conveyed. Pic 2: I really love your colored piece here, it's very warm and pleasing to the eye. It also reminds a little of Azumanga Daioh with the pinkish color palette you used. Pic 3: I really like the action pose here, especially the kicking girl. You did a great job with the body poses too! @w00t0s, you're quite welcome for the comments, anytime! And thanks for the info on Rolos, I'll have to try them sometime. Pic 1: Very interesting looking Light, I like how arrogant and content he looks too. The use of halos realy fits well with the manga! Great use of French too, tres bonne! Pic 2: Ahh, Mikami, it's so good to see him represented. Very good work for a rough sketch too. You gave him a very fitting description on his halo too! Great concept. Pic 3: Mello! Chocolate! lol, it's cool to see Mello chibi-form. Pic 4: lol, AWESOME expression for Light! It's so perfect for him! Pic 5: Great idea and really cute pic, I love the rivalry! It's funny how we never really see the two of em together. Pic 6: The "lemme shmell you" line might seriously be my senior quote. Great pun too!
