So far I think no-one post more regularly than Dangel-san, he will soon be in the 20K hall of fame XDD. As for me, I am planning to reach the 5500th before new year... >_< let's see if I can make it since I'm never here T_T. First off, I'm going to congratulate Zparticus on his posts, you'll be past me in about a week or two I'd say, you're only 250 behind. I think DA and Zparticus said it best. The 'golden age' of the forum was back before the WoT thread and Chat were introduced and just around the time the Gendou City thread was created. A lot of people were posting then in topics that carried on for a long time (mostly). As Z said, the teenie boppers and what-not had more time to lurk and hang around the forum back then waiting for people to reply. I remember I used to check all the time, especially during the time I got involved in the Dark Angel RP. I checked like every second I could in those days, on the computers in my high-school at lunch, home, friends computer, heck I used the browser on my PSP since I didn't have a computer in my room and did up entire RP posts using that little cell-phone like texting system (and that could take like 15 minutes for a single post). I used my PSP to check during recess at school, before going to sleep, in the morning before school, before class, during lunch (I did using the computers when the lab opened for lunch, even though I wasn't supposed to be on sites like Gendou), I'd wake up in the middle of the night sometimes and check. The other major forum users were like that too, and it showed because if you left a thread for like a few hours you would come back to find it maybe 1 or 2 pages longer easily. In some of the RP threads I'd be typing up my post and when I finally clicked 'Post Reply' I'd find that 2 or 3 other posts have been made. There was a lot of interest in the forum back in those days, and it wasn't too long ago, that was only like. . .2 years ago maybe? (closing in on 3 now) That was around the time I registered and that's around the time the forum activity was on the rise. Shishio was the main guy back then making all the cool threads. That's also when I met guys like Bloodymoon, Sagara, Moonstone, DA, FA, Critic and Izumo (who were also starting out at the time. Except for Sagara, he had been there for a while). Like Z said, with the introduction of the WoT section and the chat the activity of the forums has just kind of dropped off. Now you are lucky to get one post in a thread every day, as opposed to 1 every hour. A lot of the time you'll see a thread go for 2 or 3 days before someone replies or posts. Even the RP's are hitting that state. I do believe it's more the fault of the changing times. People favor quick-fire, meaningless posts and the chat now rather than posting and then reading up on what they've missed. It's not the fault of anyone of course, times just change, and people now want to get responses quickly rather than go to the forums and look through for interesting topics, but I digress. The main reason I no longer do the Gendou Awards Night is simply because there is no longer an active number of users on the forum outside of the WoT topic. Nobody drops in to vote, or nominate or comment on the winners. The first one went pretty well, but the second time I tried it pretty much nobody voted. That's the same with most of my other threads (Gendou Battleship died after the first game, Beauty Pageant never saw a second run, Awards Night barely lasted 2 shows, the show I was going to do every week on GTV never even got off the ground because nobody even nominated let alone voted, the other died. . well okay that one went out because I was just too camera shy ^^; hehe). Post number 10815 I believe. (Actually, I can't recall where or when I really met Izumo.)

I've noticed you've been more active as of late. Guess less work due to holiday season finally being over, but it's nice to have that freedom now perhaps. Trying to stay #2? Zpart's pretty tough and there's others who can easily rise up within months. And speaking about meeting Izumo, I don't remember where or how we met either. :P -------

@DA- I guess he just slides in to people's minds without notice. lol And I believe I'm third right now, behind you and Kay. Kay hasn't been around much, and while my activity is picking up again, it won't be enough to pass him (unless he drops off the map entirely, then maybe in a few months). Work has slowed down, so I am around here more often, plus my girlfriend has been oddly tired as of late and she doesn't get to stay on much before falling asleep, so because of that I'm lingering around here more. It is mostly due to work though, more time at home means more time for Gendou. You'll probably keep seeing more of me until September when I go to college, then I won't be around as much, most likely.

Yeah, I see Kay sometimes posting in his usual RPs he's a part of. I'm hoping to be as active when I get into college and even after college, though that's too far to think about. I'm worried I won't have internet during college lol, like within the dorms or where ever I live for college. :O -------

Congrats on everyones milestones or achievements in posting. Well it has taken me almost 4 months since my last post to reach almost 3300 posts....at this rate with my new calculations i'll reach Z-san at the age of 41 & DAngel-san in my late 40s!!!! Quote: "I guess he just slides in to people's minds without notice. lol" I guess you can say that :P I do recall some instances where i first met DAngel-san & Jon-san, though we may have met earlier. Anyways see if you guys recall these moments. For DAngel-san i believe it was at the time when we started giving out pics to the new members of the site. Remember those days?...man felt like ages ago. It was a select few of us that did that...You, me, Kay-san, i recall did it frequently...there was another...oh yes i remember Sachiel-san!! Those were good times! As for Jon-san...there were a few threads that we ran into each other..many of them Final Fantasy related. But i remember we had some nice discussions about Gundam SEED/Destiny about the 'realism' of characters like Fllay & Meer compared to Lacus & the crew of the Archangel. I believe this was the first time we met.....well at least the one closest. On the subject of 'good ol days' i would like to take the opportunity to say that for the last few years since i've been on this site it has been a blast getting to know you guys (as well as others that i've become friends with)...it's been a pleasure & an honor to know you guys & i hope there'll be many more years to come. The days of the 'golden age' of the forums may have come & gone...with the introduction of the chat we may never see the prominence that time had on the forums. However the memories..oh the memories...there are many!. Some of the most recognizable & lovable members were around at that time, but as we grow older things change i guess. But what will be most endearing during that time will be remembered for a long time for those fortunate enough to be apart of it. U Draw Anime Requests Open!!!
