@Izumo actually she's my "new" sister -^^- we're not related in blood, well actually she was introduce to me by my friend and wth, she's too lovely xP I mean she's really a nice girl ^^ well dont ask me bout having a relationship with her coz Im not interested with young girls xP but she's really a nice person so as a gift I want to do this..but kinda recently think that, I would do this one in the traditional way, so I did stop the Photoshop for this one. Im not sure when will I exactly be able to finish it but I want to give it to her after knowing much bout here ^^ atleast I want the pic to reflect as "her" @Ninja Soup dun worri its fine!! xP and thanks btw ^^ @Apple yup like Ninja Soup said, photoshop is more easier to use. ^^ @ROQ thanks pal!! xP but I wont finish it using photoshop >.< im going the traditional way for this one ^^ its been a while but I hope I can still draw as before ^^ btw I love your Tsunade and afro man!! Yo everyone! How's it going? Here's two from me: Lady Tsunade - Commission by ~Chrono-Kira on deviantART Tsunade from Naruto, as requested by a friend. El Fro by ~Chrono-Kira on deviantART Here's an original character from a comic project at school. It's a really rough sketch, and colored by a friend. Now then, @Vincent, for facial symmetry, the method you're using is pretty useful. Here's a great guide though, that I found online: http://www.mangarevolution.com/tutorial_display.php?tutorial_id=33 From what I see, you're really practicing quite a bit, and improvement is inevitable, keep at it! Pic 1/2: Nice rough sketches, very well done hands. Pic 3: You did a very good job with this character's facial details. It looks great. Pic 4/5/6/7: A little blurry, but what I see isn't bad! They all look kinda familiar; usually hair is the most distinctive element in combination with the face. Are they from Love Hina though? Pic 8: Great expression on this one, love the look of shock! Pic 9: Your chibi face sketch is great! Great expression and symmetry. @Ninja Soup, stunning! Pic 1/2: Your rendition of Lance is quite amazing! I love how your style shows even in realism, and the coloring and detail work is a paradigm of brillance everyone here. Very cool work. @Darky, thanks a lot! Pic 1: Your school girl pic is very charming, I like the pseudo-chibi stylish look they each share. Pic 2: Very cute bunny girl, not bad at all. Pic 3: Excellent one, with terrific design! @Ich, thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked it from that angle too, much appreciated! Pic 1: This is going to be incredible! I can already see the beautiful elements of the face blooming, and I can't wait to see it finished and in glory. @Eureka, thanks again for the comments! And I'm really happy you like Obata too! @Suzaku, Pic 1: "I Can't" is well done pic, with a great use of effects for a nice subtle look. @Red, Pic 1: Excellent action pose, the power generated is really dynamic, and I love the pose! Pic 2: lol what a cute one, quite unexpected too, love it. @Kate, Pic 1: I love your characters, and Shimabara looks quite impressive, especially great coloring too! @Milky4ever, welcome! Pic 1: I love this one!! It has a really cool retro look from 80s anime, and it fits the mood beautifully! @Apple, Pic 1/2: Chibi-Apple is adorable! I love the cat too, and the many other great little details. Also, I love your House sig. @TM, you never disappoint. Pic 1: I love this one, and especially your sketch style. @ Eureka-san You know what?...it feels nice to be back here in this thread. I kinda missed posting pics & commenting on all of the fabulous art here. I feel very honored & most of all blessed to have great supporters like yourself and several others here....even though i did decide to make a return i wouldn't have done it without you guys...so let me thank you all again *bows* - "episode8rape"...oh yeah?!....if you put it that way....^___^' - Strawberry Panic - some very nice detail in the hair....proportions looks pretty good as well. A full pic would've been nice to see but at least the passion (in more ways than one) is there! Very nicely done !! @ Vincent-san Well the advice i gave are only guidelines that you can use...for the most part it depends on your work ethic & dedication. I know that sometimes it can get frustrating that what you are drawing doesn't turn out...believe me i've been down that road before. It is true that you can't really draw the same pic identical to the first unless you trace & even that sometimes doesn't work. It is ok to make mistakes but you need to keep at it.....keep all the artwork you've done & use them as reference to see what you did right & did wrong. As for the schooling....that is only if you really want to. For the most part unless you wanna make it a career you don't really need art classes. Some well known artist are self taught. I just took it to improve on areas that i was weak at...to learn different styles & skills. - For most of your drawings (which are quite good...i don't see why you are so hard on yourself?)....try drawing the lines a little lighter (easier to erase if need be) until you are comfortable with the look of the drawing. Kinda like what you did with Yakumo's hair. Drawing lighter can also help you smooth out your lines when you decide to darken them. - your facial expressions are pretty good as well....your 'real life' drawings (hands) are nicely done. Use that skill & knowledge in helping you draw anime characters cause that is the basics of it. - you have some nice sketches...again i don't see what is so bad about them. - for the hands just remember that female fingers are more smooth,slender & sometimes rounder than that of the male which are large, rough looking & more square at the finger tips. @ Roq-san You're welcome of course! - Great pic of Lightning (is it me or is that name abit corny?)....either way can't wait for the game...first though i need to get myself a PS3...*sigh* @ Ninja Soup-san - UN-FREAKIN-BELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....now that is skill at its finest.....WOW! @ Ich-san You're welcome & i feel the same about your artwork as well!!!!! - so far so good for your newest project....your reference model is pretty....i can't really tell but may i ask who it is? @ Darky-san - Great 'Lucky Star' themed drawings! Looks just as cute as they always do! @ Suzaku-san - You're really into the 'couple' themes lately aren't ya? Well it IS close to Valentines day so what can i say it is perfect!!! @ Red-san - Again great action sequence & sense of movement & motion! - the 'comic' is funny! Hopefully a girl won't be giving me something like that for Valentine's...*shiver* @ Kate-san - More envy for those who can color...*sigh*....anyways nicely done...love the hair detail & overall look of the character. @ Miky-san - very 80s anime feel to the picture. Pretty colors & some fine detail to boot!!! @ Apple-san - Super work on your chibi self....i really like the fine line work & simple yet 'stand out' detail. The cat is cool as well! @ TM-san - i've always loved your style!!! great detail in all of your drawings!!!! just wondering how long does it take you to do something like that or even like the Tsukihime pic from before? ************************************************************************** Well that took awhile.....this time i didn't miss anyone since i last posted....if i did than you can give me heck for it ^___^'. Continue the awesome job everyone!!!! I look forward for more!!! | @ Apple - I saw some good drawings colored in GiMP. But they weren't so good afterwards. I don't know much of anything about Photoshop but I'd still recommend you use it instead of GIMP. Do you know about layers & the different kinds of functions you can have for them? |

Guys, I have a question about GiMP. I used to use Photoshop, and so I'm trying out this. When you color over something, and you want the original drawing to show past the color, how do you do that? Please and thank you, it's be a great help. |

| @ Ich - *Dies* Photoshop?! Uh, um, I don't know how help you with that. I'm a traditional artist. Surprise, Ninja Soup can't photoshop a pic from scratch to save her life! All I ever use photoshop for is to clean backgrounds & fix little parts of drawings that I've done by hand. I've done one pic with photochop & it fails horribly! On top of that, I only have photoshop 4. I'm sorry... |

Shimabara Kaede - the reincarnation of Yagami Enishi (Sai and Daisuke's dad, husband of Yagami Rui). he is a naughty grade schooler who is very stubborn. he likes making others angry, and acts as if he owns the world.  |

@all Whooaaa !!! It's been a while since i post something in this thread and it's already crowded by new magnificent drawings. Okay....since there's a LOT of new drawings after my last post, i cant give comment to all of them, so i only give comment to newest drawings that shows in page 24 Sorry.....i'm having very tight schedule lately.... @darky Whoo...MOElicious characters and you draw characters from Lucky Star too.... @vincent Hmmm....i guess you could try to mix various artist's style to create your own unique drawing style. I did this and it works well ^___^ OOhh....so blurry....*sorry* But it seems that you are better than me in drawing female T.T @suzaku The girl looks sad, i wonder why ? Anyway, it's a good drawing, but looks sad @all Okay....sorry if i didn't give proper comment.... This time it's finally my turn to post my drawing, new drawings but only sketch .
