@Angelus Angie~~!!~! I really really missed you... yeah I know we're both straight guys, but.. yeah you know what I mean XDD It has been long since you posted. For the newcomers to this thread, if you looked back to the very first page, Angie was actually the one who created this thread after umm.. an incident with the original Malaysian's thread. I'll come to that in awhile XDD I feel like telling some stories and revisiting history here XDDD So how have you been? I see that internet connection hasn't gotten any better for you huh. Well, dun worry, this thread will still be here for quite awhile and you are alwiz welcome even though you like uh post once a year @_@ Hope your health's better now too XDD So when are you finishing uni? Oh yes.. as I recall vaguely, I think I'm older than you are XDD Uh.. no no Angie.. the thread you're referring to is not the one Blurrie is talking about. The one Blurrie refered to is another Malaysian's thread in the 'Other' section here, not the one that was locked by Gendou. I miss Kana-chan too.. she and Forest-san and you were teh only active ones left from that original thread. Forest-san posted a bit when this thread started, but I haven't seen him a lot lately, and Kana-chan has been missing altogether.. waaa~! T_T @Mel Ooo.. All form 3? Girls only I presume, since I don't remember getting any shots after std6. Was this for rubella? Speaking of which, there's a funny incident that happened to me when I was in F5. I got spots on my body and had fever, but the spots didn't itch so I knew it wasn't chicken pox. Went to see the doc, and he said it was german measles.. which sounded quite scary. I mean.. I've never heard of it before, and neither had my family. And then the doc said that it also goes by the common name of rubella XDD ROFLMAO~!~! Up until that point, I thought that rubella affected girls only, that's why they got shots and the guys din. The truth is, it isn't really harmful to us, but it's really dangerous to an unborn baby. So.. getting shots at 15.. @_@ how little faith the gov has on our kawaii schoolgirls. >_< @Blur^2 @_@ I neber said I was watching pron dvds T_T And yes, I also feel that you're teh hyper twin of mi-chan XDD On the election thingy, I actually agree with your teacher. In general, I'm still a supporter of the current gov, I think they've done a pretty good job, but once a party has been too long in power, they tend to slack off a bit. So a good gov has to have pretty good opposition to improve, just like how a hero in a film is made better by a really bad villian XDDD And the election isn't really linked to any issue perkauman. History has taught us that any party that consists of a single race only will neber be the ruling party in our beloved country, bcos we are a multicultural country. Forgot what it was called though XDD the thread ish lock ... and it's so kowaii there >.<" kowaii? XD That word means scary.. or did you really want to say kawai sou? which means pitiful. That was teh impression I got when I went in there, since most everyone posted once and just did a short intro on which state they're from.. it was more of a messaging board really. Maybe it was quite active to begin with, but I dunno *shrugs* This thread, though is beggining to pick up XD So.. I said I was going to go talk about a bit of history here, so I put it in spoiler mode (clickie to read). For those who dun like to read long posts, you can skip this XD On teh original Malaysian's thread: So when I first joined Gendou, which was around late Dec 2006, there was an existing Malaysian's thread which was in the 'Anime' section of Gendou.com, which at that time was weird and unique XDD cos all the other country-related threads were in this 'Other' section. Anyways.. I can only tell you about the events after I found that thread, I do not know of the history of that thread before I joined (obviously XD) It was pretty active, I had fun posting there and I still remember the fun I had discussing about certain animes that others had watched as well. Some time after that, however (this part answers Angie's burning question XD) I was away for about 2 weeks due to exams. When I came back, to my horror~!~! the thread was locked~! I'm not saying I know all the details, but checking the last few posts, what I think happened was that one of the members, Owdee had broken a rule and was banned for a set period of time. Some of the other members knew about it, and some didn't but that is beside the point. Owdee then went around the ban by, I think, creating another account from a different IP, but using the same login name (with different password I presume). Now, this is a very bad thing.. and there's consequences if Gendou-sama does find out, which he did eventually. Owdee continued posting in the original Malaysian's thread, and many of the members welcomed him back, without knowing about the details of his ban. And so.. Gendou-sama deemed that as a conspiracy, and banned Owdee (this time, indefinitely.. which technically means forever >_<) as well as all other ppl who posted in response to Owdee's post (e.g., anyone who said welcome back Owdee~! or We missed you Owdee~!) was banned as well indefinitely for the reason that they knew of Owdee's actions and neber reported it. I won't comment on Gendou-sama's action since it's all water under the bridge now.. and the site does belong to Gendou-sama after all. He does have the power to lay any smackdown that he wants, and we should respect him for that. Anyway.. like I mentioned, Owdee was quite an active poster.. but bcos I was away during the period he got banned, I guess I was one of the fortunate ones. So in the end, the thread in 'Anime' section got locked, most of its members banned and Gendou posted a message saying that a continuation of that thread is not allowed. Ever. T_T And so.. quite some time (6 months?) passed before Angie took up courage to ask Gendou for permission to create a Malaysian's thread which was not a continuation of that thread, and that is the thread you are reading now. Notice that it's called the Malaysian's thread (I) signifying a new beginning~! This country-related thread may still look young compared to the pinoy or the indonesion thread.. but it's good to know that there is some history behind it XDD And it's looking really good.. there are some really active posters XDD Keep it up~! *Phew* That ends my little story, boys and girls XDD Some of the members of the original thread may still be around, but I doubt that they'll be using their old login names, or admit to being one of the banned ones XD EDIT: Wow.. hi guys^^what's up? @Bkno9:all form 3...girls n boys..err...i got the shot..but i'm not sure what's it forXD..i think it's to prevent 'sawan'...the shot doesn't hurt-_-''...i only bleed a lil bit...but my friend bleed like 4 drops of blood(bleed more than normal people)...she said every time she got a shot she'll bleed like thisO_O..i think her blood is too "cair"..which i think it's not a good thing..hmmm...bkno9 u didn't get a shot when u'r in high school?i've got the chicken pox last year XDwhich was horrible for me T_T(no school for 3 weeks,sure it's heaven..but feel awful,fever n stuff)

I don't know any places on the Internet to learn Malay. But maybe the other Malaysians will know. n_n Anyway, Malay language is kinda easy to learn. I are very happy to help you learn it if you want though I think my Malay is not too fantastic. Hmm.. I think my uber long post may have confused some ppl a little bit more about the 'other malaysian thread' issue.. so maybe i should make it a bit clear.. XDD The 'other' malaysian thread i was talking about is called 'any malaysians love anime' or something like tat.. so yeah, blur-chan found it. It exists in the 'Other' section just like this thread is in Gendou. Last i checked, it was really really far back. I dun think anyone reads past the first 3 pages of thread, unless they're looking for a particular thread. I would say 95% of the ppl in this thread know malay, cos well, we study it in school as our first language XDD I would say picking up the language is easier than say, learning french or japanese cos the writing in malay uses the same 26-letter roman alpahabets used in english and there are many english words that are converted to malay or sound really similar. For example, bus in malay is 'bas'. XDDD Also, you'll notice that the malay language is very similar to the indonesian language. So what did you want to know?
