Congrats to all of the winners this year! And for Jonathan for bring back the Awards night! Its was super fun and interesting. I'm glad to see that just about everyone is happy with their Awards. I think for the next Awards Night I will be contacting the people who are nominated to see if they want to stay in the running. The past few Awards Night have had people not thrilled with being included, and rather than taking back an award and giving it to the runner-up, it's probably better to take care of that in the nomination phase. Also, I think I'll split the Awards Night in to two separate parts. The Gendou Awards Night (Mid-Year) and the Gendou Awards Night (End of Year). The Mid-Year will take place around June-July and the End of Year will take place around December-January. Anyway, for the time being that stuff can be put on hold. I'm glad to see that a lot of people enjoyed it and like their awards. In a few days I'll be taking the results from the first page and replace it with a list of results from all the Awards Nights.    |

Yeah two awards is definitely better to manage with categories. Are you going to keep the names the same? I'll definitely be around for the next one. You can have two parts kind of like the Olympics. Summer Olympics and Winter Olympics. XD

@DA - I think I will keep the names the same, but I'll point out in the description and poll titles that it's the Mid or End of the year Night. The main reason for it is that once a year is a bit too long of a time (people won't remember everything that happened over the year) and monthly is way too often. Once every 6 months seems reasonable. |

@ Drake- thank you drake! i would have been happy if you won as well (since we do alot of rp's together ^^) @ Jon and DA- i got an idea from when DA said it would be like the summer olympics and the winter olympics... like how they're different, but still the same type of competition? well maybe you guys could add some catagories that you can vote for only in the summer awards, and then have catagories that you could only vote for in the winter awards... to spice it up a bit so people aren't voting for exactly the same awards every time. ^^ just an idea.  |

@Toyumi - That's a fine idea. I had already planned to do like that (Member of the Year Awards wouldn't be given out in the Mid Year Night for example). That's a good idea though, make different categories for different times of the year. @DA - Why wouldn't I be? Assuming I don't drop dead by June of the end of the year then I'll still be here to do this. You forget, I don't have much of a life outside of work and (come September) school, so there is little chance that I won't be on this site. |

Alright, so now that Tsu has been made aware of his award, the only person left is Jaydel (who hasn't been seen for about 2 months). He runs the Claim Thread, so whenever he pops on should be fine, no big rush on that. Everyone is aware of the results now, so I'll take down the front page shortly and replace it with a list (as well as a list of past winners). I've sent out Honorary Awards for the 10k Post Club and the 100+ Music Contributions. The only two I have given the music contributions award to so far are Izumo and synai, but if anyone knows someone that has contributed over 100 songs please let me know so I can send them an honorary award as well. |
