I saw Princess Monoke, I understand the plot, but WHY is it good? I JUST DONT GET IT. Why are Miyazaki movies considered good? They are so BORING and I don't care about these people in his movies. It's like I have some internal prejudice toward his movies. Does anyone feel the way I do? They are not bad movies, and there is a lot of talent there, but they just suck to me! I'm sorry Miyazaki fans. They bore ME, and I'll watch any anime! I just don't get it. But Grave of the Fireflies was really good. |

Hm..worst anime...i hate to say bad things about anime but...ok..Gundam is bad,all it's about is a depressed kid piloting a gundam and he will scream and cry in his gundam while killing people...ok,that's lame.. |

oh well. anime is juz a nicer name for cartoons. lolx. there's so many genre. nvr ending. worst anime i'l vote for pokemon. its getting draggy. too draggy i guess. =X gundam is ---> -.- o.0? anime overall stil rawkx. listen to 'endless tales' from digimon. its nice even how he anime sux. =))  |

i like Princess Mononoke it represents how humans are taking over nature, and how nature decided to fight back digimon sucked and so does bobobo-bobo-bobobobo crazy **** anime....  |

| I understand the underlying themes in his movies, but the thing I don't get is why I should care. It's the really lame and unlikable characters - well, pretty much everything in his movies - it just doesn't draw me in... |

@ Shishio: It's okay, Shishio. I really love Miyazaki's films, but hey, I'm not gonna stop you from feeling what you think. It's like how you said I'm crazy when I said I don't like Evangelion...I don't really care for space anime, and I just don't get it either. It's boring for me, but other people like it. So what? We all like our own types of anime. ^^ |

Agreed but, I have to make one thing clear... Evangelion is not a "space" anime, it is a brilliant interpretation of the Apocalypse told through teenage angst, a unique new Mecha, and an amazing script; all culminating in the Human Instrumentality Project, one of the most debated subjects in anime. Is it the Rapture, the betrayal of a father, or a the breakdown of a suicidal teen? Maybe all three (there is an "answer" but it's more fun to let the debate continue). You should check it out cuz I thought Evangelion sucked until on a good freinds suggestion (thanks Baki "Raven" Tenzing!), he recommended I watch the whole series. Now "Congratulations" is stuck in my head forever... |

inuyasha & sailor moon are both nothing but pure & unmitigated crap, made worse by the fact that i actually used to like them. i also hate revolutionary girl utena (or whatever it's called) & always have.

| I really like everyone's sugguestions and it certainly astonishes me how almost every one can agree on a few animes that were the worst to them @_@. Anyways, I certainly agree with Pokemon being the worst. I never can get why this stupid series can go on for 7+ seasons with the same EXACT Pikachu attacks @_@!! I also think the animes that belong on this list are: Strawberry Panic, Love Hina (Sorry), and This Ugly and Beautiful World. |
