Death Note was/is a good anime, I probably would've enjoyed reading/watching it more and gotten to it sooner if it wasn't obsessed/praised about so much -__- This was pretty crude of me...but I laughed/cheered when Light died at the end ^o^' I knew it was coming too and I seriously couldn't help but laugh. So evil of me...I think I shouted "Take that!! You deserved it!!" too... O_o'

My mum and I love this anime... But we dislike the ending where Raito had to die. I think he should surpass Near and continue to rule the world... And become the God of the New World.... |

I thought he got what he deserved but it was still sad, i bet he became a death god after he died. it was so sad when L, Matt and Mello died, why did everyone have to DIE!?! D:

I love this series a lot. I have the manga in Japanese and so far, it's good. Slightly better than the anime in my opinion. I've seen about half of the episodes and watched the live action films. Though I like Light, but he somewhat deserves to die, because it was his idea to kill L. It was quite depressing that L died. The English dub sounds not too bad to be honest especially on the films. When I listened to the film English dubs, I thought, 'it sounds slightly better on the live action films than the anime'.  |

I only watched the movie version of Death Note...it's quite cool! Both Kira and L are very genius, but i think that kira is wrong, though... >.< And misa misa is kawaii!!   |

Awww, com'on DUBS ? LOVE THIS ANIME !!!!!! WOOT !!! I like it better in Japanese though :3 The starting was amazing, bu yh the end... so-so.... I love all the characters though, except maybe Misa... cute, but annoying !!!! Meh, I like Near, but it has to be L for me :P Din't like the 2nd OP and ED at ALL >< LOVED the 1st though !!!  |

The dub for this is what I followed, though I did see a lot of it in Japanese as well. The anime's pretty generous to scoop out Maximum the Hormone. XD Too bad this series is being made into some American re-made live action film. D:

Don't be shocked what I'm about to say. I wanna apologise to Light fans out there and of course the characters Light and his family (though they're anime/manga characters). Light's surname is Yagami. But when you write it backwards, it becomes Imagay. Odd, yet interesting isn't it? |

Is it really being Hollywood-ified? I don't think I could take it. Imagay? That's amazin. Never saw that. xD I think my favourite character from the series was L. But Mello was a close one too. It's been a while since I've watched this series.

I saw that "Imagay" already ^^, but in the end, it's a pretty good Japanese name, i don't really care how it is backwards, sideways, in an anagram or what, but hey, "Ya" is 夜, right ? and "Gami" is like "God- 神", a tad ironic :P No, i forgot how it was, but i'm pretty sure it was that..... Sowwy, i'm chinese, these characters make some sense to me, but 夜 is night ^^ just in case you wanted to know... |

I love Death Note no matter what The ending was sad but it had to happen I have to sat that Misa was my fave character L was just interestiong especially his life style ^_^ lol Light was just my 2nd favorite character Im still reading the manga series But i Love it |
