@ Roxas- I don't think this is really the place to be asking about a claim. I mean, it's your claim and not anyone else's, so you should go with whichever character you love, and not with whichever character we love. Also, if you need help with creating sigs and such, then look up some tutorials. Zero listed the ones on Gendou in his posts, but there are tons more on other sites such as deviantArt. If you want help as in someone else making them, then I'm currently open for sig or set requests (But I'm not taking claim requests at the moment). @ Jon- Since Fenris hasn't posted in the Pokemon RP recently, what do you want to do about it? Are you up to continuing it even if it's just the two of us actively posting there, or is there something else you have in mind? I'm up for continuing it, and if the lack of players is a problem, I could always ask Haseo about rejoining the RP since he's somewhat back on the RPing scene here. So, a few posts ago I mentioned having an idea for an RP, and now, I do have an idea. It's a different one from the one I had awhile back, but this one's a bit more thought out and, in my opinion, better and more original than the previous one. I don't want to give anything away about it just yet, especially since I probably won't be able to start it until May because of school. Just posting to get the word out of a future RP from me (Despite the fact that it'll be awhile until it will actually happen >.>). Although, I do have some bad news along with news of this RP. If this one fails in a major sense (For example, if it gets less than a hundred or so posts), then I'm not sure if I'll start up another RP here. My last two RPs here both had less than a hundred posts in each of them, and the one before that barely got above that 100 mark with 102 posts in it. RPing here has been on the decline in a major sense for awhile now, I'm well aware of that, but is a hundred posts really that much to ask for? RPing shouldn't be about starting new ideas then giving up on them when they get "boring." It should be about creating a fondness for the RP, for building upon it until it becomes something so great that you can admire and look back on it, saying that you were a part of this great RP. I feel this way about Free and Dream to this day. It was a great RP, but what made it so great was that all of the players never gave up on it, especially the ones who were there from the beginning like Fenris, Jon, and myself (Or, almost beginning, in Jon's case). Of course, other things like school get in the way of RPing, I understand that very well; but shouldn't stuff like that be managed along with this aspect of giving up on RP's? Manage how many RP's you're in so you can have time for both RPing and schoolwork, so you won't have to give up on an RP because of demands from school or whatever else life may throw at you. I'm sorry it this seems like I'm ranting, but it's just something that I've been thinking about recently and I wanted to get it out here. It's not directed at anyone specifically, it's more of a general statement. Even I can accuse myself of a few things I mentioned in this rant on a few occasions, but the difference in that is that I don't like to make a habit of it.  |

@everyone; Ok, another idea came to me for an rp. It is another samurai rp, it is during the time of the shinsengumi period. I won't go too deep into description. But oni will be involve. This is just an idea which is a bit vague at the moment. Once, I got the full story in my mind, I will post it up. When? Most likely around march. Reasons, because I am too busy with work and huge school projects. If you like the idea of Shinsengumi, please comment about it and you hope for it, so I could have some ideas on how to make it interesting. Right now, my mind is too wrap up in school and work to fully think of the full story right now. @Kyosuke; I would join your rp but I can't, sadly. Like I stated, I am too busy with school work. I hope your rp turns out great. @Roxas; your sig...I suggest you take some tutorials. I'm not sure with program you are using. If you are using gimp. Then check out my tutorial thread Here If you are using Photoshop, you can check out my tutorial or PG's Tutorial or Renma's & Toyumi's Tutorial. As for who you want to claim...I would go for Mystogen since I find him awesome in Fairy Tail. Not sure about the other character from Beezlebub.  |

@ Kyousuke- It'll be up by Wednesday or so? That's good to hear, I'll definitely be able to join if that's the case. And I also hate it when I make a character similar to another one I've had in another RP, and then don't even realize it until later. XD Also, sorry to hear about your dog. I had to go through a similar thing with my dog last year (More details about it in my response to Jon, if you want to look down there). @ Zen- I miss you too Zen! I'm looking forward to seeing you around more often! (And our Shoutbox conversations XD). @ Jon- I went through a similar situation with my dog last year. She was around 14 years old, and we found out over the summer that she had a tumor in the back of her nose. We got medication for her too, and she was fine on that... For awhile. In October, she took a turn for the worse. The mediation stopped working for whatever reason, and her tumor began to grow fairly rapidly. By November, it got to the point that the vet told us it could rupture soon and she would basically drown in her own blood. Later on that week, we had to put her to sleep. I'm sorry to hear about your dog, I know how difficult it is and I would never wish it upon anyone. I hope your dog will be able to hold out for awhile longer. |

@Roxas:Yep,although at that time I just joined in out of interest.Jon did told me to help me find a jump-in point soon enough,though from what I read,I can come in anytime soon(I do once had a plan to jump in from the point where my characters will be on a ship or something when that happens).Till then,I'm on standby modo ;P @Jon:Sorry to hear about your dog,bud.My poor girl,too,died years ago(around 2-3 years to be exact);a natural age-related one.You have my condolences...... |

@Zen - That's okay, I understand that it's difficult to get back into RP's sometimes. @All - Thanks to everyone. I didn't mean to cause any worry, that is, if anyone was actually concerned for me. The issue had to do with the family dog. We just learned a few moments ago from the vet that he has cancer. The fear of that news has had me in a 'soulless' state for the past few weeks. It had a deep affect on me. I know that he's already getting pretty old (he's 13-14) and probably doesn't have a lot of time left anyway, but it was still very difficult to think about, and especially difficult to hear. The good news, if you can even call it that, is that he's not showing any signs of sickness for the time being. The medication he's on slows things down a bit and he's been running around and acting like he always has in the past. His appetite has also come back a lot since he had his surgery a few weeks ago. So really, until he starts getting sick and acting unusual, he'll still be around. I'm feeling alright now, mainly because of that last statement. He'll have to be put down some day, but at least we'll know when it's going to have to happen (and with any luck, that won't be for quite some time). To be honest, I think the wait to find out what was wrong with him was what caused me to be so dead inside lately. Anyway, I don't mean to bore everyone with my emotional attachments. I'm getting back to my normal self, although I'm not sure how long that will last. The best thing for me to do now is to just get my mind off of it until the time comes. God knows I have enough stuff to concern myself with in the near future. >.> @Landon - Congratulations on getting a girlfriend, especially right before V-Day. Kind of wish I had that same good fortune and/or combination of traits. @Kyo - At the moment, I'm willing to join basically every RP currently going on or starting up. I need things to occupy my time with. The RP reminds me slightly of the 5 Seeds Project, which interests me, although I'm not as fond of other parts of it (not enough to not join however).   |

@Roxas; lol, I am actually planning another rp soon, but with my busy schedule with work and school projects, I hardly had time write down the plots. I might try think of one soon around this weekends. But knowing my schedule, the rp will be a light and easy going one. Still Not sure yet though, I might base the rp off of an anime or a game. But these are all "if's" though. |

The rest of it adds a little more detail, but not much. Actually part of me was hoping that people could take care of things on their own. No one ever sees things manifesting.... I mean, it's as simple as finding those things you want later in another part of the area, as the planet doesn't have much control over the proximity of the manifestations. One of the greatest things that it's able to manifest are images called Projections that think and react in similar ways as the species on the planet, though they don't possess the inner workings at all. In the case of humans, the Projections have full memories of their lives, created in the planet itself and experience emotion, but they have no organs, no bones, no blood. Anyway, except for the Projections, I wasn't planning too much on having this aspect of the planet coming into much play until later. (Gods, Kyou-chan's having a hard time focusing with the YN chat up... >.<) @Emiya: Thanks~ I always enjoy RPing with you~~ <3 @Toyumi: You're right, it does need a lot of work. I'm going to do a lot with it over the next week and hopefully get it up by Wednesday if something else doesn't come up. Of course, I'm going to have a ton of work to do on it, a ton of decisions to make.... And I have to finish one of my two characters, Ileana... who... if I think about it... kinda began to take on a sort of Rhayne Chandler (God Child) attitude about halfway through development, so I have to work her away from that and individualize her. >.< And of course, you know I'd probably join if you put up a new RPG, as well~ <3 @Landon: Congrats on the girlfriend~ My boyfriend at the moment lives in England, and it's getting a little difficult for us, understandably, because there's a whole ocean between us.

@ Jon- Well, I hope that you'll be able to take care of whatever this is, and hopefully get back into the swing of things. I can't speak for everyone else, but I know that I'll miss seeing you around here, both RP-wise and just in general. But, stuff happens, for better or for worse. I wish you luck, and I hope that you'll be able to come back here sooner than later. @ Kyousuke- Well, it seems like it needs a bit more working out, but it does sound interesting. I'd be willing to join, as long as you're able to get it up sooner than later (I'll probably pull a bit of a disappearance act myself in April and early May due to exams, hence why I say "sooner than later" XD). @ Roxas- 98% of my other RP's? Not 99% or 100%? XD Well anyway, that's good to hear. I'll be sure to put up my idea here once I've thought it through a bit more. Also, I'm generally available for RPing as well (As long as an RP interests me, although there hasn't been one as of late), so don't count me out yet as a common RPer! @ Emiya- Well, it's definitely going to be a fantasy-war kind of RP, although I think I'm going to have it go on a larger scale than some of my previous RP's (The only RP that I tried to make on a large-scale was Vagabond Survivors, but that was kind of a flop and we didn't really get anywhere >.>). @All: I'm pretty much avaliable for RPs, if I can think of an interesting character to use there. So feel free to call me for new ones. @Roxas: Honestly, I'd like to avoid taking over. If there's no other choice, maybe, but even then, I'll most likely just stall time until Jon returns, as I have no idea where the plot is going there. Though UTPBS doesn't have much of players left anyway, so the only ones avaliable are me, you, LD and Emiya. Destiny posts quite often and can organize everything nicely, but if I'm correct he/she will only keep playing for a limited amount of time, and I don't know when that limit is. |

Back again. I'll be busier starting from tomorrow until next week, as I need to study and take my tests. Will be starting my mid-semester break at the end of February. Might try my hands on Writers' Club though... @Kyousuke: Nice to hear that you're going to ride a horse xD And about the RP, hmm, to be honest, not quite fitting to my cup of tea though. But then again, I'll give support as usual by joining. @Toyumi: You have a new RP idea? :o Then again, with the current active player... (perhaps it'll improve with summer holidays?) @John - Good luck with your matters. Hope that things go in your favour eventually. I would like to recommend Moggle to take over management of UTPBS as he is the most active poster there. @Toyumi - *Shrugs* Meh, Your Rp was the first I ever joined and I made sure to join about 98% of your subsequent RP's. If you need another player I'm available. @Kyou-chan - For some reason, I look at that storyline and think: Titan A.E. Looks interesting but then how would one control things on Eden? EDIT: @Moggle - I'm not too sure about Destiny. She is kinda a newbie so I am not very sure in her ability to organize things. Preferably it should be you or Emiya. I prefer not to take over other people's RP for fear of messing things up. Then again, the number of posters now has really really gone down. The most common RP players left are you, me, Emiya, Landon and occasionally Frozen, Snake and Mistress. Chinny and SRT only post in their specific RP's. And now Kyou-chan is back but many of the old crew is busy although once a while we'll see Zero with a new RP. @landon - Congrats, I've never even had a girlfriend let alone kissed <---Forvear Alone Club Member |

Soooooo.... I dunno if anyone's interested or if there's even enough people here to fulfill my hopes, but I wrote a new RPG.... Unfortunately there's not alot of what I normally see here — that being conflict in the form of physical battle (I do find that that subject is about 75% of the content here) — but I still think it might have potential to develop as long as the people, as few as I'm expecting, are engaged. So, the idea is that Earth has been destroyed because of the surge of power that humans have obtained over the years and have been deemed a potential threat to the political balance of the universe's governing body; only a certain number of humans were allowed to live, and in their following years they must search for a new planet to call their own. After an attack on their ship, a certain number of human teenagers/young adults manage to escape and after a few years of searching on their own they find a new planet that has everything they need to survive, and is uninhabited. As it turns out, this perfect world that they call Eden, is able to manifest the greatest desires of those who allow their minds to be enveloped, and eventually it should cause a little bit of a uprise between some of the members — fighting, dispersing, breaking of relationships, et cetera.... I mean... this is a place where, if you really and truly wanted it, it's totally possible for zombies to invade just for a change of scenery.... Like I said, it will definitely need some enthusiastic players, and will probably work out even with only three or four people, though I'm hoping for up to ten characters.

Speaking of everyone disappearing, I may have to for a while as well. I'm sorry I haven't been around Gendou at all over the past week or more (I think). I'm having a hard time with something in my life at the moment, and I've essentially been in an empty state for the past while. Unfortunately, things haven't been resolved yet. It's very likely that tomorrow is going to bring me terrible news, and with the way I've been just waiting for this news, I'm not sure how long I'll be out of it once I actually get the news. I don't really want to talk about specifics, but suffice it to say, I'm probably going to have to leave someone in charge of the UtPBS RP for some time. I'm not sure what I'll do with the other RP's I'm part of, considering that none of them are moving at all (Pokemon hasn't budged in a long time). I'm sorry to do it, but I just don't think I'll have the willpower to do any posting. With any luck, everything will be okay, but I've never been the optimistic or hopeful type, so I'm just getting this out there in advance. |

@ Kyousuke- Yes, it is nice! Although, I still have regular schoolwork and whatnot to deal with until the end of February, but most of it is easy (Or rather, easier) stuff to deal with. It's very nice to hear that you'll be fulfilling your dreams! I'm not into the whole horseback riding scene, but it sounds like a lot of fun from the way you're describing it. @ Roxas- Yeah, the whole "everyone disappearing" thing has been happening quite a lot recently. I've had an RP idea that I've been kicking around for quite some time, it's not overly complicated and I think it could be finished relatively quickly, but the problem if I actually go through with it would be just getting enough people to join it to get it off the ground... |
