@ BTL- Yes, the whole limitations thing is something I've also thought about and it's another reason why I'm not too interested in a relationship right now. The one plus is that a lot of my classmates are getting their driving permits or licenses (I have my permit, but I'm still awhile away from getting my license due to my lack of practicing how to drive XD) and then you could go to places nearby, but even then it's still kind of limited. I'm a junior this year, and there are quite a few colleges I've been looking at. The two that are the most appealing to me right now are the University of Rhode Island and, except for the fact that they get very cold winters, SUNY Potsdam. The main reason why I like the two universities so much is because they have both Geology and History majors, which are the two majors that I'm interested in going into at the moment. I can't decide between the two, but I still have some time for that. Although, my parent's are against me going to SUNY Potsdam because it's "too far away" for them (It's 5 hours away, when the University of Rhode Island is 3 hours away, so it's a bit better for them). XD @ Koy- So you're also one of the people who think that New York is just a city, huh? XD It's alright, most people who don't live in the US don't really understand that New York is a state and a city. Manhattan is a borough of New York City, the island that most people think of when they think of New York City (And when they think of New York as well) since it has the Empire State Building and Wall Street, etc. There are 5 boroughs that make up New York City: Manhattan, Staten Island, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Queens. In short, Manhattan itself is not a state, but it's not a city either. It's just a part of New York City. It's kind of confusing and hard to explain if you've never been there. >.>  |

Wahhh sorry for the late response(s)!! School started on Sept. 19th and I've just been busy. Besides a full load at school, I have work too T____T And then I just chartered a new club at school too so I have to get that up and running. Just so much stuff to do. I've only been logging in on Gendou to update the release date section and clean up the request list -o-' On another note...how's life been for everyone? :3 Halloween's coming up! Anyone have any plans? @ Koy Yeah I've always had "BTL" as my name. Most people think it means "bacon tomato lettuce" xD' And yes, I'm super crazy fangirl obsessed with "Supernatural" XD Haha, maybe not to that extent actually, but I love the series. Didn't really get into the anime version though O__o 7th season just started recently, but I haven't had a chance to watch the season premiere+last week's episode because I always have to work Friday nights when it's on TV T______T ~*~*~*~*~ @ Toyumi Lol that's okay Toyumi, I didn't get my driver's license till I was 19 -w- Have you already had Homecoming at your school btw? That's one of a few things that I miss about high school xD Geology and history huh?...I suck at both of those :3 Is there a specific history subject that you enjoy more than others? My parents said the same thing for me about one of the in state universities I'm planning on transferring to. Thinking about University of Washington or Washington State University since they both have pretty good Communications programs, but WSU's is better than UW. Problem is WSU is a private school so it would be more expensive and it's 4 hours away while UW is public and much much closer to home. And WSU is more of a party school if anything and I know I won't do much partying xD' SUNY Potsdam is in state and University of Rhode Island is out of state for you right? ~*~*~*~*~ @ Adeline I was thinking that you'd have philophobia and haphephobia because of a past relationship you were in, but I guess not xDDD' I understand how self-esteem would be in issue too though since I struggled and still struggle with my own self-esteem. Despite friends, family, and my bf telling me that I'm beautiful and smart, it's difficult to see myself that way X____x But it's nice that you have a comfortable and loving relationship with your parents. Are you an only child?

@ BTL- Yes, we've had Homecoming already, although it was really early this year (I think it was the third week of September, when it's usually a bit later than that). But I didn't go to the football game or the dance. My friends and I got together and went to the movies instead of going to the Homecoming football game, and I didn't know anyone who was going to the Homecoming dance so I didn't go to that as well. At my school, its really only the Freshmen and whoever is going to be Homecoming King and Queen that end up going to the Homecoming dance. >.> In History, I love WWII and the Cold War time periods the most. Although, recently I've been rethinking about going into History, mostly because I've come to realize that I don't really like the subject as much as I thought I did. Now I'm looking into Geology, English, or Psychology (Specifically, Abnormal Psychology). Then again, I change what I'm interested in for college quite often, so don't be surprised if I say that I want to go into something else in my next post here. XD Although, I probably should decide on something sooner than later though, since I have to take the SAT's in March and then again in June, or something like that. >.> As for your college situation, in my opinion the biggest downfall of WSU is that it's a party school. I'm not much of a party person myself, and I would rather go to a school that's not so famous for it's parties. Would you be staying on campus if you went to WSU, or would you stay off-campus? And yes, SUNY Potsdam is in state and University of Rhode Island is out of state. Although, SUNY Potsdam is about 5 hours away, since it's upstate in the and I live downstate, while URI is about 3 hours away. Because of this, my parents would rather have me go out of state to URI than stay in state and be farther away from them. XD As for life in general, it's been quite good actually, except for school. Some of my classes this year are just being a pain and I'm kind of regretting taking them. >.> But like I said before, outside of school my life has been pretty good. I went to a concert last night for The B-52's, which was totally awesome. It was the best concert I've been to so far. For Halloween, I have quite a few plans. First, I'm hanging out with some of my friends and we're going to have a Halloween party two weeks before Halloween. Then the week before Halloween, my school band is going to have a concert for Halloween. And finally, I'll be trick-or-treating with some of my friends on Halloween. I'm going to be trick-or-treating right on up until I can't anymore, which will be when I go off to college. XD |

It's been quite some time I don't post here. I've been quite busy lately, but now things are calm. I found out last week that I passed on an exam for a position in a certain city attorney's office. I'm pretty excited with all, mostly because it's a coastal city [no more desert-like humidity :D] and I'll be living by myself. G-d willing, next year I'll be working there. @ Toyumi - before posting I was reading the thread and I was quite admired that you were considering Archeology for it's very demanding the subject, since it encompasses, for example, history, literature, arts. Some of my scholarly heroes worked on that, such as Mommsen, Champollion and Rawlinson. @ Adel - I guess I'm afraid of relationships. So many bad things related to it happened to the people I care, that I don't see myself on one soon. |

Hey guys! Guess what is the day for tomorrow (well according to my timeline)? It's SINGLES DAY! I was hoping if Single's club has some activities for that day (hopefully *_*) but even if we don't have it, it's alright i guess orz.. I am also not into Facebook at all and do not want to get into it. @Adeline - I'm in the same boat as Toyumi to some degree. I've had a lot of stuff going on since Christmas, namely in regards to school. I've finished up my college program and am currently on my work term with the court, I had two trips to take part in the Skills Canada Competition (one of which I only just returned from last night), and I'm still working my part time job besides that. Of course, despite everything now going on in my life, I'm still single. >.> On the plus side, because of all of that stuff, May 9th was probably the first birthday in close to 5 years where I didn't feel like crap about myself. Hopefully the club will come back to life though. I miss it.    |

I'm on Facebook more than Gendou nowadays (I really only stop by Gendou to update the release dates and maintain the request list) but I can't bring myself to really post anything on the Singles' Club on FB b/c...well, I only know two people there, Adel and Yat O__O And since I'm shy, it's hard to introduce myself to people on Facebook whom I've never even interacted with here on Gendou, if that makes sense.
