Yeah, I just used the same buttons from the other Doujin SHMUPS I've already dLed/played and it was pretty simple after that. At first, I sacrificed a bomb, but then a second later I knew what button to use if I needed to use a bomb. The blond so far seems to be my favorite, but I'll test each of 'em out with each weapon. So, I'll be beating the game roughly nine times. XD A hard part, I think on stage one, is when you have to shoot both in front of you and behind you to destroy the enemies. Now they come from above, left, and right, and they nearly shoot at the same time meaning you have to avoid the bright light and try to avoid all the bullets. ...or you can use a bomb (depending on your character) and destroy everything. I've figured out most of the other stuff too, like the 'mana'. I'm dLing the two links you've posted right now, so I don't miss this open chance later on and regret it. About these passwords, do I need 'em to play a game meaning I'll be typing in some password for every game I play or is it just to unlock it or something?

You need it to unzip the password protected RAR files. It's to keep others unwanted people from getting the file.  |

^No, not yet, but I have played the demo for the AirRade. It's pretty light for a SHMUP but the gameplay is very... "uniqueish" since they included a "punch bomb". "Punch bomb?" Explain that a bit more. In Tobi Tsukihime, there's this thing that, to me, would be called a "punch bomb." You press a button and you can launch the bomb out to enemies to attack more at once to get a bigger combo. I'll post screen pics of that later or tomorrow or so if you guys are interested. Short demo, only one level, but there's four difficulties which I'm experimenting with now.

w00ts game, game, game, lots of game skyl and izumo whoa thx for the link kanonairsmash hahahah thats bring back memory, my high school computer have that game also with azumanga daioh volley ball game when my teacher passed by she told me "what are you playing!!!" well she cannot yell because it's in middle of exercise in computer lab. but that shock my teacher well i just replied it's just a volleyball game (yeah right with azumanga girl on bikini Lol XD)

Ok...back from my short hiatus...had to concentrate on work for a couple of days...have to make a living somehow...right ^__^; Anyways i see a few have PM me for the items...i'll reply when i'm finished here. Just some points about the games....after you unpack them you don't need to install them. Just add them to a folder or keep it as is & just start playing as is. It's one of the reasons i added them for download cause of this. Other titles you need to install first. @ Hearms-san Oh?!.....i remember the Azumanga volleyball game...i tried the demo of it once before. Unfortunately i don't have a full version of it....one of the titles i missed back when it was available. @ DAngel-san I know that part you are referring to...it' just after you battle the 1st level boss at the halfway mark. First time i tried it i was caught off guard & wasted a bomb for nothing. Once you get the pattern of the bullets you can avoid them...if you are lucky enough you may have built up your Super shot...so you will be able to unleash it at that moment. I didn't like the red girls backup...it is mainly for close encounters...later on in the game it is pretty useless cause there is so many bullets flying at you that getting close is near impossible. I like the green backup for its homing ability...although not as strong as the other 2 it saves you more often than not. The Punch in AirRade if done correctly...basically is for combos & highscores & quick powerups. The game doesn't really have any bombs like normal SHMUPs... There is a gage under your lifebar...when you use it..you have to wait for it to fill up before you can use it again...(it fills up automatically). Anyways when you punch an enemy it'll go flying (in a straight line) & if it hits another enemy it'll cause a chain reaction...a domino effect. If there are alot of enemies on the screen do a punch & watch all of them get wiped out. However you have to time it right or you'll only take out some of them.  |

@ SkyL-san Thanks....i appreciate the patience that all of you have shown.....so doing things like this is no problem at all. I'll see what else i can add.... About AirRade....i just realized that i included my stats....so all the characters are unlocked for you & you can choose the stages you want to practice as well. Don't let the look of it fool you...it's alot harder than it looks especially on hard.... The same can be said for the KANON shooter...some of my stats are in the game as well...oh well...ty to beat my scores....pretty easy cause i fool around with it alot. *EDIT* There has been some reports that there may be some problems with the 2 downloads i posted. I'll see what is the problem with them when i get home cause i can't do much here at work at the moment. Sorry for the inconvience cause i know you guys wanted to try these...i'll have them fixed as soon as possible. Thanks for the patience....*bows* -some notes- - If it is a password problem hold on to the file....until i get back to you. - if u are unable to open it cause of corrupt file...try to repair them using the options in either WinRAR or WinAce. |

OMG i just found air raid and kanon air smash at the local pc shop...*its pirated ^^* would it play on a pentium 3 pc? this thing is pretty old i guess... i dont know about the specs of this pc but its kinda slow... will it work? will it cause the pc to crash and be infected by viruses? clearly im a big moron when it comes to tech stuff...>.> |

(Mods, Z did not double post, I deleted my previous one) Most Doujin games will work with a 667MHz Processor or above. P3s are mostly above 667 Mhz anyways. But the most critical thing you need is a video card. A Geforce2 will suffice. Just make sure you turn down the settings in the option to FPS30 (whatever hiragana is in the parenthesis) if your computer fits that standard. Here, try this, Right click "my computer" (it has to be the the one in the start menu) Click Properties and take a snapshot of that window that pops up. It'll tells us your basic computer specs. Then also, go to device manager, and then expand the display adapters section by clicking on the + sign next to it or by double clicking it and then take a snapshot of that window. That way, I can help determine what games you'll be able to play on your computer. Most likely many since the Processor req' is so low you can do a software emulation of DirectX x. Put the pics up here and I'll take a look. |

To all I removed the links for the AirRade -98- & Kanon shooter in the post. There were some issues with the uploads & password function. I uploaded the files again without the password & in zipped format instead. The bandwidth has exeeeded cause i wanted to make sure it works this time...no problems were found so everything should be good to go. You just have to wait a bit for the bandwidth to be normal again. For those who want to try these games you'll have to make a request through PM & i'll give you the link that way. Also when i send you the link you must promise not to share it with anyone else but yourself. I took the time to do this so i would wish you understand my terms. *EDIT* Bandwidth issues has been resolved....upgraded my service so things should be ok. EDIT #2 I found some of my other doujin discs...Guardian Heroines & my Perfect Cherry Blossom game has been repaired. So i'll add some new pics in a little while. The only game i can't fix is the AirRade Summer edition....however my AirRade -AIR- is working now. AR-Air- is the upgraded version with all characters from the earlier games. I've yet to still unlock some of the charactes....i'll show a shot of it later as well. |

What's wrong with the Summer edition? I think you may need to update the software. I found that Stuido Siesta has updated the AirRade Original/-Air-/-Summer- for 2006. Maybe for operation under Vista and some running improvements. --------------- On another note: OooOoOoOooo, Eggs and Eggs and the punch bomb is really easy to master >_>; Child Misuzu is my favorite character for Normal and Endless games and Normal Misuzu is my favorite for No Punch Mode. @ SkyL-san No it's not the patch or my OS....there is problems with the disc...it'll install the game but when i start it the screen is all blurry. There must be something lost while it installed. Sometimes that happens when i play other games. Which is why i removed it from my PC....most of the doujin games i removed so i had to install them again to show those pics. Speaking of which here are some more samples games i finally have working. The Guardian Heroines Final is a pain since i have to do everything all over again to unlock the other characters. So seeing the screenshot i have below you'll notice nothing is done. I played the two games Izumo let me dL a few hours ago. The one game was fun, yet annoying at some points but I managed to beat it easily. Having the five girls form into one long plain was kind of fun and funny. XD AirRade was a bit difficult at first. I practiced a bit with the punch bomb thing or whatever it's called, too. How do you unlock more characters? I'll play more later tonight. ^_^ Do you have more games to dL from the first page (your second post)? Or, you can just PM me links and stuff so I don't take up your bandwidth again. ^.^; Oh, I played that KanoAirSmash game, too. It'd be an awesome SSM:B game if they re-made a bunch of stuff: the moves, the friggin' camera, etc. So far, my favorite character to use is Kanno. Next would probably be Makoto, and not sure who my third person would be. Skyl was also right... Ayu is kinda cheap, but whatever, it's easy to avoid her giant teriyaki attack! It's funny when you get their damage to reach up to 999%. Once you give them a 'critical' hit to the side where there's no land area for them to land on, they stay so far off the page and so long, it's like they're flying or they got stuck. >;3

^ DAngel-san I take it the games worked this time around....whewww....^__^; The AirRade game i have my userfile so everything has been unlocked...which is why you can use all the characters. Originally you can only use Misuzu, Minagi & Kano.The pic i posted earlier on this page is from the upgraded version that has characters from the original game (the one i uploaded) & the Summer edition. Yet in that game i've yet to unlock the other characters...it's hard since you don't have any continues & only 3 lives to make it through the entire game. Most of the stuff i did on the normal setting...i've yet to even attempt the hard mode. As for Kanon shooter...what was the most planes you formed...i usually do 5 but eventually i lose them when i drop the bomb on the target...& since you are so big it is easier to get shot at. I'll wait a few before i decide to upload something else...maybe one of the AngeRaze games may be the next one i decide to do...we'll see. |

I got five, with all the characters in the Kanon shooter. At one point, I found another plain add-on, but couldn't add it since I already had that character. ;P Although you do get like, invincible with all five characters, dodging gets harder, too. Sometimes when I shoot, it's hard to see the enemy's bullets so I fly right into a shot or something. You can break your fall by repeatedly pressing the "z" button or so, really fast to get back to flying. I think you can only do this like three times before you truly die. XD So the one I dLed earlier, the AirRade game has all the characters? Hmmm, gotta re-check that later on. A lot of these games I'm dLing, not just the ones featured here on this site, but from other sites, they're all in Japanese so it's hard to change settings and stuff. For some reason, the only thing I somehow know already, but instinct or something is the "ok", "cancel", and "reset" buttons of all games. It's weird. For your next game(s), I wouldn't mind taking a crack at the F/SN games.
