anyone here a Miyazaki fan here he is one of the best. He made Castle in the Sky, Howls Moving Castle, My Neigbour totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Kiki's delivery and many more. Even though some of his films are old but the story is really awesome. 5 thumbs up |

I love Miyazaki movies!! My favourites are Spirited Away, the Cat Returns and Howl's Moving Castle. The characters and stories are just so much fun. :)  |

| Spirited Away was brillinat but it was Princess Mononoke that really not only got me into Miyazaki, but anime in general. |

Miyazaki is the BEST! His stories are so original! I love... Howl's Moving Castle (my fav), Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in the Sky, The Cat Returns, Kiki's Delivery Service, and many more. ^_^ |

NEWS: The Director for this upcoming Studio Ghibli Feature is Hayao Miyazaki's son, Gouro Miyazaki (38-39 years old) [heard that he begged his papa to let him direct this film]. Feature is called "Geto Senki" (not sure how the english will be translated into, so i'll just go w/ the jap version) based on an european graphic novel. going to be in Japanese Theaters this coming summer. so, mina-san! please cheer on for Miyazaki Jr. and hope that he can make his papa proud. |

i love all miyazaki's works, but i found spirited away to be his best, followed by porco rosso and princess mononoke. i didn't enjoy howl's moving castle as much as his other works, however - it wasn't horrible, but neither was it great. gedo senki (tales of ged) is based on the earthsea novels written by ursula k. le guin. the official english movie title is 'tales from earthsea'. here's a link to the first trailer: http://www.ghibli.jp/25trailer/ged_lg.html. for smaller bandwidths, go here: http://www.ghibli.jp/25trailer/. |

I like Miyazaki's work; not only for myself, but also because it's very family-friendly, and I can even convince friends and family members who just aren't that into anime to watch.... Besides, The Cat Returns is my favorite movie. I actually caught myself trying to talk someone into buying it at the store the other day... and I don't even work there....  |

"Geto" sounded like "gate" to me. judging from the kanji, "Senki" literally means "war journal"... o___o |

Im a big fan of all his films. One of the best is "Totoro" or "Princess Mononoke"
