I don't know about many of you, but when I come across some words, I begin to feel a bit of fury bubble in my gut. Either from the way it is spelled or its meaning in comparison to the sound, or just the sound itself when prenounced, sometimes language, paticularly my own, simply enrages me. Thats probably not healthy. Granted my knowledge of language is minimal they still upset me. Anyway Im stuck between three words. Drole(sp)- In french this word means funny, But sounds like a word for boring. Laugh- gh=f . . . what the #*%#. Looks like it should be Lawguh. Vacuum- two u's, why? Does it originate from latin? I dont understand. Anyway, being that its appx. 0630 and I haven't slept yet is probably why I'm making such an obsqure(and poorly written) post. bleh.....

I thought the thread is about Hated words but reading your post, a more appropriated word would be Confusing or Weird words. No pun intended, but those who'll read this might get confuse. Hated word would be: ~ F*** U! (that said to me, i'll get really offended and probably, you'll get a couple of good slaps from me) Weird words: ~ nothing comes to mind at the moment ^_~    |

Hated word eh.... Flat:It has so many style to say it Eg Your face is flat/HEY YOUR FLAT CHESTED I dont know why but i hate this word lol  |

the longest word. i don't even dare write it. why it should exist? who would say it in an ordinary coversation? or who would use it in a research paper? perhaps me, arrggh...  |

different ways of saying it makes me mad at whoever does (especially in wc3 if you go into a game u will hear this automaticlly) 1. newbie 2. noob 3. newb other than that mayonaise...no spanish person could say it correctly and my family butchers anything left of the diginty of this word...MAAAYOOOOOOONAIZZZZZ...

| Ummm. for right now the word that comes to mind is "importance" and it's probably because I don't like how some others and I sound when it's said or pronounced...But, yeah that's the only one I can think of. |

French words are boring..i dont know why they are popular but its pronounciation, stress and even spelling are all the hell deceiving and complex to understand..        |
