I did some research, apparently it was part of a campaign started with this petition: http://www.petitiononline.com/cutiepie/petition.html. It is my personal belief that the petition's author created it as a joke, but many people took it seriously. Don't worry, nothing can stop market pressure, not event Chuck Norris!

Well, I think the one who made that petition is a very stupid and a judgemental jerk. Why oh why are there so many people like him? Doesn't he(or she) realize that anime is just a form of entertainment? Is he/she that stupid enough to lay down a judgement just by watching a few episodes of an anime? What the hell is his/her problem? Haven't he/she watched masterpieces like Gensomaden Saiyuki or Spirited Away before laying that crap of a judgement? To think that that guy is slandering Anime is like disregarding the awards and achievements that most anime creators gained. Who is he/she to think that Anime is immoral, heck, even my auntie watches Ruruoni Kenshin and Ranma 1/2 in which by the way are also pieces of art. I'm a very big fan of Anime, and with that very stupid petition, I think he/she just spat on Anime fans like me AND also threw mud on a Picasso. Just burn in hell you S.O.B. |

That's way worse than the stuff there, and I matured from watching it. Matured from watching this "dark scourge of pedophile producing garbage." This is... darnitdarnitdarnit, I must say something to them but I can't T.T If that thing was a joke, then I'll yell at him for it anyway! He's... doing more bad then what he thinks anime does! >_< Edit: I said this to bladesman. besides, I'd rather have them get their fills of little kids doing perverted things on tv than have them doing it to kids in real life... Ok,i'll join in and WILL sign up Gendou-sama's petition: "Ban on Stupid People".(Umm... where can i find that...?) That E%((&@#*:^*^&*% F**KING DAMN A#$HOLE who wrote that should be a DUMB hard fan of Disney. Only by watching about two anime,that "CHIBAI" guy gave his/her own impression on anime. I agreed with all of you, s/he haven't seen the other anime masterpiece and it caused him/her to act like a F**cking IDIOT!! Keep on saying that anime characters kiss each other oftenly but back in the 1930's,most of the American classic cartoon characters like those (DUMB) Mickey Mouse,Mighty Mouse,Kerbau..BALABAK....bla...bla...Donald Duck...bla...blaa..Goofy.... kissed their SO-CALLED "true love" almost ANYTIME!!! Now,now..isn't that also called "PERVERTED"!? So why is him/her calling anime characters are evil because of those kissing scenes!!? Who cares if s/he's a Christian or not,i've created a thread entitled "Any Religious Anime Lovers" and the results came out POSTIVELY!! YUP! THERE ARE RELIGIOUS PEOPLE WHO REALLY LOVE ANIME!! This means that Anime doesn't mean anything evil to any religions!!! And if anime will be banned in the future,i'll find the identity of that guy and write his/her name in the Deathnote FOR SURE.... I don't really get why you people are getting worked up over a hoax. As stupid as Bush is (Sorry Americans, but I'm a Canadian), I seriously doubt he will ban anime just because of a little petition with roughly 6000 signatures, let alone know what anime is. Also, if you read some of the signatures, most of them is AGAINST the petition, not for it. And if Gendou's petition of "Ban on Stupid People" actually goes through, over 80% of Internet users will not be able to go on the Internet, and Internet as we know it will cease to exist. |

Wah the Gendou's member are so loving of Animes, dat is good, but better not get ur emotions too high on these things, as if u write too many thing against the Christian abt this, u may offend them. And riots like Muslim over the comics may trigger (Muslim please don be offended) Be careful on these touchy things, i think the Admin should lock this thread soon before problem rises (personal opinion) |

Wow... are you freakin' kidding me?! Evil, perverse? I can't even believe how foolish and narrow-minded people can be... Obviously the dumb*** hasn't watched Spirited Away. This person hasn't done the research, and clearly has no understanding of anime after viewing only two animes. I laugh at people like this person. Even if this was a joke, I don't appreciate it.
