i used to use outlook, but it's been a long time, so i'm not sure if i remember it exactly. just browse around and see if you get it. go to tools, click on accounts, click on the mail tab and add your own account, which you can then set to default, if you want. if that's not it, go to file and switch to your identity (if you have one) or add a new identity. |

*sigh* Thanks, but it doesn't have the "Mail" tab... Oh, well, I can still use my ordinary email stuff. Thanks for all your help! |

First, are you trying to configure this for your mail for the first time, or are you just trying to switch back to your profile in outlook? I'll assume you are doing it for the first time in outlook express 6. Assuming you are using a POP3 mail server, you need to get two pieces of information from your mailbox: your incomming mail server (POP3) and your outgoing mail server (SMTP). Then, in outlook click tools, accounts. Click "add"...Mail. Then go through the wizard entering info as it needs it. If you need more help than that, be sure to ask! |

First off, what is your mail service that you wish to set up with outlook? Is it your @mail.com address? I don't know anything about mail.com and I would suggest you just switch over to a gmail account. If you don't like gmail's browser interface, which i find to be more usable than outlook, you can set it up for outlook if you like via POP3 and it is all free. |
