Hey everyone, as you guys might've known H-san was working on a Crossover RP a couple years ago, which aimed to sort of resurrect several RP's that died/ended and put them into one story. Sadly, H-san seems to be busy with life in general (no activity for over a year or so) thus I'm being bold and going forward with one!

The RP is supposed be closed now since there's a good amount of people participating. I'll still listen if you simply HAVE TO JOIN. You STILL have to contact me via PM to get your profile okayed.

Square Hex 2013 Presents:

Theme: Flame - Lori Nomizu

Story: After their planet is destroyed in the Apocalypse as foretold in the Holy Book, the survivors of the cataclysm find themselves and a select number of people transported to an alternate universe. This place, known as 'Limbo Universe' is a place where worlds go when they are destroyed. Left with a sliver of the land of their former planet, the survivors are seemingly imposed in a completely different setting where worlds of fantasy and magic and exist side by side with their own world. Some in the population gain the ability of summoning a powerful being with high combat prowess. The refugees soon find that fighting alongside these powerful warriors is the key to securing their place in Limbo Universe. You happened to be one of these people, gifted with the power to 'Summon.'

Having only existed for 7 years, the 'patchwork world' of Earth is still fighting for it's place in the Universe. On this day, you and several other recently discovered Summoners are sent to meet with a Veteran whom has agreed to help train Earth's summoners to help defend itself. The events of today will no doubt be a defining moment of your life, and propel you upon a path that will someday change the fate of the entirety of Limbo, and the worlds that reside in it.

Story Thus Far

Part 1 - The Story Begins with Betrayal

Ch 0 - On That Day, Years Ago: On the patchwork world of Earth, a particular training squad is nearing the end of their curriculum. The squad is one of several gifted people who are capable of summoning powerful characters to fight for them. The four of them bide their time with the usual leisure, as they brace for the eventual final exam that would decide whether or not they're qualified to use their powers according to the instructors.

However, with the arrival of a new student, things begin to change, and the world that they know it may not be quite exactly as what they had become comfortable with.

Ch 1 - The Past, Which Haunts Them: The group suddenly found themselves caught in a surprise 'Final Exam' where they had to fight against their Team Leader, Sagawa, as well as the School's Valedictorian, and a Mercenary Summoner. In the middle of the battle, everyone faints, seemingly overcome by some sort of power.

The group wake up at a hospital. It appeared that everyone has passed, save for Ionia, who is taken away by Sagawa and others to see the Instructor, presumably for the ultimate fate of having her memories wiped.

Ch 2 - Escape the Biodome! : Ionia, realizing her her handcuffs have been left unlocked, escapes from her escort outside the hospital. After running off she is confronted by Sagawa and Cheshire. Who reveal her as being an important part in Sagawa's 'plans'. However, before much could be said, Ionia and Cheshire's 'Buddy' Argus are thrown into the sewers to escape the Town's Constabulary.

Back at the hospital, Sven and the other decide that they want out. The group stage a breakout from the hospital, not before confronting a female spirit with an appetite for blood. The group manages to fight her off, and Sven summons an explosive creature to lead them into the sewers. It dosent take too long before they meet with Ionia and Argus. The group eventually emerges from the sewers on the outskirts of town. Due to a difference in thought, Norman departs from the party as the rest make for a way out of the Biodome.

Reaching the impenetrable outer wall of the Biodome, the group is approached by Cheshire, claiming to be there on Sagawa's orders to help them escape. Though she presents herself as being rather hostile to them. Without anyone else to turn to, they rely on Cheshire to get out.

After using one of her spirits to knock out the personnel at the Eastern Gate into the Biodome the group converge at a hill. Though free, Cheshire throws a 'debt' on them. Forcing them to accompany her to the dangerous 'Zone Red' at the edge of the patchwork. The group ultimately agrees to go along.

Part 2 - Dubious Alliances

Ch 3 - The Port City of Nord: - The party arrives at the Port city of Nord. Also known as the City of Commerce where ray materials are shipped to factories, and finished products are sent to be sold to all parts of the world.

Upon arrival, a simple need to get lodging for the night turns into a Clothing Store promotion as the girls are roped into working a day at the Illustrious Gantry Hotel in exchange for a day's stay, a buffet, and a new set of clothing. There, the girls meet the Enthusiastic Head Waitress Roderigo, who take them through a quick crash course on their duties before they are sent out to serve the Dignitaries, whom are currently visiting from the other Patchwork Worlds.

Things go awry after Keiri accidentally spills a bowl of soup onto one of the patrons. Thanks to Ionia and Roderigo's efforts, Keiri is able to get the forgiveness of the patron. However, at around the same time, a scuffle breaks out in the kitchen. The patron had sent one of his guards to go after Keiri. Roderigo stepped in to protect her. Leading to a showdown between an The Head Waitress and an Organization Member and His Spirit. Somehow, Roderigo wins the Battle managing to plant a knife into the Organization Member's head. Leading to her arrest.

With the Police now looking for witnesses to the event, the group manages to convince Keiri's brother, Kai to take them to Zone Purple on his Fishing Boat. In the process of leaving the town, the group has an unexpected reunion with 'Sagawa'. Though, she doesn't seem to be the exact same person as the group knows her as...

Ch 4 - The Island of Peace - Crash-landing on a deserted island after trying to navigate through fog, the group is stranded, and injured. To add onto this, Cheshire has gone missing, leaving the group at a loss of what to do. Ultimately, Sagawa suggests the group use their spirits to go out to find Cheshire and to find supplies.

After being sent out, Alexis approaches Vincent and Rovick about 'knowledge' they have about what is currently going on. However, Vincent, whom had lost his memories, is apprehensive about the whole setup, especially with Alexis' order to temporarily cut his ties with Sven. Noticing this, Alexis breaks off the entire conversation. What was she intending to talk about?

Back at the beach, the group sit around. Ionia goes out and tries to summon her spirits, but in doing so she activates glyphs on her hands, causing an explosion, and knocking her out. After taking Ionia back to the camp, the amnesic Sagawa asks what is really going on, noting that she never remembered Ionia not being able to summon her spirits. They give her the truth, a truth that was completely out of line with the sorts of memories she had. Sagawa couldn't handle it.

Soon, Cheshire had returned to the scene, and was not happy with the way things had turned out. Hostilities began to flare up between her and Sven, which ultimately culminated in Cheshire using her spirit's ability to knock out everyone. Just before leaving, Cheshire took out a 'Key Fragment' which was hidden in Ionia's body. Other than that however, Cheshire took Sagawa and abandoned the group on the beach.

Ch 5 - Zone Purple - The group again woke up in a hospital. Apparently, after they had passed out, they where found by locals passing by on a boat, and taken into a port at Zone Purple. By happenstance, Norman whom had taken a job at the town visited his former classmates.

They didn't have much time to rest, however. An 'Anti-Summoner' agent came into the hospital and began to attack the summoners. A fierce battle raged afterward as the party used their spirits to fend off this fearsome opponent. They where ultimately able to escape the town of Crassia to continue their journey southward, to the port that would take them to Zone Red.

When they reached the Glitterdelle Tunnel, the only passage way through the mountainous interior of Zone Purple, they found it was heavily guarded by the island's armed forces. Even worse, Sagawa was captured by Ideology agents, and was being threatened to be taken off the island. The party launched a desperate attack in order to free Sagawa, as well as get into the Glitterdelle Tunnel.

They where ultimately defeated. Bringing out story to an end.

Boring Stuff
Things to Note:

-This RP's main aim is to allow you to use a character from a dead RP again. You can use a character from a running RP if you want to be lazy.
-The RP will feature a sort of 'Childhood Arc'. For this reason, I have to okay your profile [VIA PM] before you can post it.
-You can have up to 2 Main/Summoner Characters, they are limited to having 2 Great Spirit characters each at the start. You can create as many antagonistic characters/fodder characters/npcs as you want, but KEEP TRACK of them.
-I will take the old fashioned style of 'posting-rate' from the old Gendou City Days. That is, as long as one person posts after you, you can post again! Meaning people who really want to stay in the RP are the ones who keep posting. I'll be nice about waiting at the beginning, but the moment things slow down the gloves come off. I also kind of want other participants to do this when I start slowing down in posting too! (Just try not to get too sidetracked)

Interesting Things to Note:
-In this RP's world, DEATH means you lose all of your memory. (see Lore: Immortality)
-You can have only 1 Great Spirit out at a time during battle. Though you can have all of your spirits out when not in battle, such as for conversation. For convenience, they can also talk in your head. (See Lore: The Summoners)

Rules:
Gendou City Rules
Be Reasonable
If you're going to be gone for a long time but intend to come back be sure to announce it, else wise I'll just assume that you dropped.
Try to Post A Lot! Let's see what happens when we DON'T worry to much about waiting for every last person.

My Characters

Name: Sagawa 'Saga' Mizunohara
Age: 17
Gender: F
Character Type: Summoner
Appearance:

Bio: A girl who lives in the Children's Commune of the patchwork world of Earth. She is one of those gifted with the power to summon.

Sagawa was one of the many kids and teenagers whom where orphaned as a result of the Apocalypse. She and many other kids around and under her age where put together in the children's commune for their own safety. Many of the children where dragged there in tears from losing their parents and homes so suddenly. Sagawa, or 'Saga' as she prefers, wasn't too shocked about the grand backstory of Earth's destruction or nor was she distressed over losing her family. Primarily due to the fact that she couldn't remember any of it.

Her earliest memory is simply waking up in the care of a few random survivors, and having no idea where she was. The people who she asked said they simply found her washed up on the beach. As people soon found out, one way to lose memories in this universe was to have died, so presumably she had been unfortunate enough to be transported into the ocean and drowned before waking up for the first time like the others. Learning of all of this has done nothing to bring her down, though. Sagawa is content in knowing her life in Limbo is all she knows about.

Being one of the older children in the commune, she along with the other older children are charged with watching over the younger ones. She gained a strong sense of responsibility from presiding over them for the past 7 years. She also has a debatably unhealthy obsession with Scrambled Eggs and Ketchup.

Her ability to summon almost came out of nowhere, when she spontaneously summoned a Great Spirit. News of this spread quickly, and soon enough Sagawa was ordered off to the main town on her world to be put together with other newly discovered Summoners.

Personality: Her eyes and normal disposition makes her come off as a bit apathetic, though in reality she's quite personable. Sagawa, as people who come close to would come to know, likes to use her own brand of sarcasm on occasion to mess with people. But she can also display some acts genuine kindness when given the chance.

Her time in the orphanage taught her a good amount about taking responsibility. She also gained a little experience in dealing with people's personal problems. Though much of it was through trial an error - as well as a hefty dose of luck much of the time.

Summoning Bonus: Damage Transfer - When their spirit is nearly defeated, the user can use this ability to restore the spirit's power by 50%. The user themselves are knocked out after using this, and are completely vulnerable.

Name: Alexis Davare [Millenia: A Tale of Fates (2009)]
Age: 17
Gender: F
Character Type: Great Spirit
Weapons:
Throw Daggers - The user possessed a coat filled with any dagger they could get their hands on. They preferred to kill enemies at a distance.

Junk(?) Pistols - A Twin Set of pistols the user carries around. Though they have long since stopped working, the solid metal that they where made of makes them useful in defense.

Appearance:
Master: Sagawa 'Saga' Mizunohara

Reputation: A girl who lived her life on her own strength, fueled by the will to survive.

Alexis hails from what is known as the patchwork world of the Egen Badlands. In her previous life she scoured ancient ruins for insights in how to better her understanding of the world's form of magic, known as 'Magi'. Though that was more of a hobby. Her regular day to day life was composed of scavenging and selling off items of value from the ruins as well as fighting off man-eating monsters. Alexis managed to secure herself a reasonably comfortable lifestyle at a young age.

Alexis' lifestyle made her a capable fighter, a vigilant treasure hunter, a shrewd businesswoman, as well as an adept magi user. Though if there is one that that hasn't changed, it's her ever present short temperament and her propensity to set fire to things she dislikes. She is also one of the more recent Spirits, as in her summoning under her master Sagawa was the first time she has appeared in Limbo Universe. For her, the concepts of being being a Great Spirit and following orders are relatively new to her. But after being struck with the 'Migrane of Disobedience' she learned pretty quick.

Personality: Alexis came from a hash world where everyone was trying to swindler the everybody else. As such she is pretty distrusting towards everyone. Despite that, she is strongly driven, and possesses a strong sense of purpose in everything she does.

She has an eye in small details. Giving her the capacity to size up a person's intentions or deposition rather quickly, and see beyond most facades.

Abilities:

1) Blade Shotgun (Strong) - Throws a cluster of daggers forward in unison. The blades fly straight with enough force to pierce armor after medium ranges.

The cluster is relatively small so it is possible to dodge the attack. Their capacity to pierce armor is made possible thanks to an advanced Magi Algorithm that utilizes that Weight Perception Skill to increase the power of the knives' penetration. Long Range, 40 Second Recharge Period.

2) Leading Throw (Weak) - The user is capable of taking into account a target's distance, their speed, as well as the drop of the throw in order to hit a moving target. The user has used throwing knives to a point that such calculations are second nature to them. They can hit rapidly moving targets with faithful accuracy.

The skill is difficult against opponent with irregular movement patterns. Scoring a hit using this skill against such an opponent may very well ground down to luck. Leading throw lacks the armor penetration power of 'Blade Shotgun' in favor of rapidity. Medium Range, 3 Second Recharge Period.

3) Weight Perception (Non-Attack) - An ability that gives the user the power over changing the weight of objects. By touching an object, the user modifies the object's mass from between the range of 'Light as a Feather' up to 'Incredibly Cumbersome'. Weight perception can also utilize a 'fuze' so that the effect does not occur immediately.

The skill only works on objects that the user touches, and remains in effect for as long as the user remains in contact with the object. After the user is no longer directly touching the object, the effects of weight perception disintegrates at an exponential rate. Typically returning to normal weight after 5 seconds.

4) Flare Consume (Non-Attack) - This user has the capacity engulf objects into flames. Once the target is ignited, magic forces the fire to continue for another minute, even if the object in question isn't supposed by flammable.

Like Weight Perception, the user needs to be in direct contact with the target object in order to use the ability. While Flare Consume can theoretically set entire buildings ablaze, the amount of time it takes for the Magi skill to come into effect is directly proportional to the target's size. For perspective, the user can engulf small items like daggers in half a second. Larger objects such as shields would require the user to have a hold of the object for up to 30 seconds. A human sized object would require the user to grapple down the opponent and keep a hold of them for an entire minute.

5) Blast Dagger (Strong) - A medium ranged attack where the user throws a specially enchanted dagger at the opponent. An instant after the dagger makes contact, a series of 5 explosions resonate from the weapon, without the dagger itself being obliterated. In this sense, this can cause grievous amounts of damage should the it pierce a surface prior to it detonating.

Similar to Blade Shotgun, this skill uses a much more advanced Magi algorithm that is only stable up to medium ranges, outside of that range the entire formula become null and void, making the dagger the same as any projectile weapon. While the individual explosions on their own can be shrugged off by most opponents, them occurring in a series makes this skill a considerable threat. 50 Second recharge period.

Name: Youoh Suohtoma [Mana Drive: Memories of Campus Constania (2008)]
Age: 21
Gender: F
Character Type: Great Spirit
Weapons:
Sylverant Shortswords - A Pair of trusted Shortswords. They have the ability to be transformed into the 'Material Blades', magical swords with a blade of fire, and of ice.
Appearance:
Master: Sagawa 'Saga' Mizunohara

Reputation: A master swordswoman whom many challengers sought to defeat. Practically all of them failed.

She specializes in a unique twin blade style of swordsmanship. She can attribute some of her skill to her family, the Suohtoma, whom where master swordsmen in their world. Youoh's style of fighting is special, however, in that it was inspired by the style of a fictional character. She had a strong attachment to the character when she was young, and as a result, emulated a version of the style described in the books he appeared in. The style that she came up with, using two swords, was infamously difficult for most people to predict, as it had no real world equivalents. Youoh's inherit skill with swords made it none the less dangerous, even towards experienced opponents. The speed at which she swung her swords, and the fluidity of her attacks where the stuff of legend. She also had the ability to use 'Dimensional Cutting' - a family inherited skill where she could use her blade to cut through dimensions - as a form of tactical maneuver. Several of her victories where are attributed to the use of this move.

Under her last master, Youoh was regarded as a high level Great Spirit, but she was 'obliterated' and subsequently freed of her previous master in a heated match at in the Colosseum. It was thanks to her sacrifice that the team she was attached to was victorious. Yough subsequently reappeared as Sagawa's Great Spirit some time later. Her Master is notably less experienced than all other Summoners whom have handled her, though Youoh doesn't particularly mind the slower change of pace.

Personality: She comes off just a tad cold, and has a hard time approaching people. Despite this, she fondly treasures the few friendships that she managed to make. She seems to have a dislike of competitive fighting, probably developed during her original, lonely lifetime where her skill with her swords distanced her from many people.

Abilities:

1) Dimensional Cutter (Strong) - The user cuts a hole through dimensions to reappear through another desired location and strike the opponent with a powerful blow. The skill poses the opponent with the difficulty of predicting the direction of the attack, and could be used to make escapes or make sudden reversals.

Before reappearing, a cut will appear in the space where the user will reappear. A lucky opponent, or an opponent with good intuition can spot this and have enough time to at least dodge the attack. 1 Minute Recharge Period, shared with Dimensional Attack Nullifier.

2) Dimensional Attack Nullifier (Defensive) - The user is capable of performing 'a reversed dimensional cut' where the opening of the dimensional tear is on side opposite of the user. The Hole is capable of essentially nullifying a powerful spell.

The user needs to cut a hole large enough to receive the entirety of the attack. As such a certain time leeway is needed in order for the Nullifier to be successful (as it takes a little bit of time for the gap to widen even when accelerated). It is useless against area effect, or large spells. Has a 1 Minute Recharge period, shared with Dimensional Cutter.

3) Contact Rush (Weak) - In close combat, the user is capable of dealing a barrage of fluid sword strikes that allows the opponent a minute amount of time to counter. Being able to keep up with the user when trading blows was an achievement in itself. This skill is an effective for pinning down the opponent for a finishing move.

The blows themselves are more or less shallow hits that don't do much damage to Great Spirits. The attack itself isn't too dangerous unless the opponent is caught by it off guard.

4) Combat Runner (Non-Attack) - The user has the capacity to efficiently cover ground with quickness and with minimal effort. With this skill, the user is able to rush up for a charge at much smaller distances than normally required.

5) Material Blades Activate (Non-Attack) - The user is capable of calling fourth a blade of Ice and Fire that superimpose themselves unto the weapons currently carried. The material blades give extra strength to normal sword strikes, and are effective at defending against their opposing elements if the user can successfully brace themselves to receive the attack.

The blades require a quick chant before they can be summoned. Furthermore, the power of the blades decreases as the battle drags on, and as such they are strongest when first summoned.

Name: Cheshire
Age: 19
Gender: F
Character Type: Summoner
Appearance:
Bio: An energetic young woman with daring fashion sense. She is the best of the best of the students in the Summoner Training program - according to the top brass at least. Her notoriety spread amongst the other students after the series of victories she scored from openly challenging other summoners.

Through various circumstances, Cheshire helped the group out of the Biodome, and thrust them into the world beyond it. The group is being held together by a dubious sense of being stuck in the same situation. Which is, for the most part, fine with her. The only thing that seems to be tying her to the group is Sagawa's 'wish' for her to look after them.

Personality: Energetic, Straightforward, and not the Type to Scrounge Around details. Cheshire is usually quick to the point - and she's pretty aware of it. Though it's not apparently evident, she strongly values the virtue of loyalty. The group found out firsthand that she can make herself pretty difficult to deal with if she wants to.

Summoning Bonus: Skill Up

An Ability that powers up the abilities of her spirits. The abilities of her summoned spirit strengthened. For example, a 'weak' skill becomes rated 'strong' when the ability is active. The skill has a time limit, of which after the maximum time of effect (3:00 Minutes) has passed, the summoned spirit is automatically desummoned.

Combat Arts:

Martial Arts Practitioner - The user is a practitioner of Martial Arts. Taught under a the requirements of a military regimen, they can be considered a cut above most of their commercially trained peers.

Stamp Glyphograhy - While Glyphography typically requires careful penmanship in drawing perfect glyphs, the introduction of stamps allowed for users to utilize combat glyphs on the fly during engagements. Stamp Glyphography focuses more on Mana Circulation as opposed to traditional calligraphy skills.

Great Spirit Character Sheet (Limit 2 per Summoner):
Your Great Spirit Character can be made from Scratch or be imported from another RP of your choice, don't worry about the world being included in this RP as I'll add it if it hasn't been added already. At the beginning you can only have up to 2 Great Spirits to a Summoner character, but that number may increase as the RP goes on.

Name: Alessa Costana [Destiny Card Battle (2006)]
Age: 17
Gender: F
Character Type: Great Spirit
Weapons: None
Appearance:
Master: Cheshire
Reputation: A unique psychic user, according to the Great Spirit Logs of Limbo Universe. Alessa was considered particularly special amongst other psychic Great Spirits that have come thus far in the fact that she presumably has the power of two psychics in one package. Her 'sister', an alternate personality, is believed to be able to perform psychic actions independent of Alessa. Alessa was presumably obliterated when her original summoner refused to join a group that wished to use her for their own gains.

Her re-emergence as Cheshire's great spirit caused quite a bit of a stir when it was relayed to the right people.

Originally, Alessa was a part of a combat tournament that pitted a group of normal people from New York City against one another for the right to become the world's next 'protector'. Alessa claims to have gained her psychic powers as a part of being chosen to participate in that tournament.

Personality: Alessa is polite to a fault. Her alternate ego, whom she refers to as her 'sister,' is more or less the complete opposite - and notably much more aggressive.

Abilities:

1) Mental Concurrency (Non-Attack) - Alessa's dual mentality gives her a few bonuses comparable psychic users. Most notably, is that her skills can be executed a the same time without any penalties to their power. She can also focus her mental power into a single skill, doubling it's effectiveness / the force that put upon it.

2) Let's Fly! (Weak) - A common psychic skill in which Alessa takes a nearby foreign object and propels it forward into a desired location. Using one half of her mind, and without buffs, she is capable of sending forward a medium sized object, or a bunch of small objects forward up to medium ranges. When combined with the 'Let's Shatter!' skill, the user can mimic the damage of a shotgun. She can achive long ranges with 'Mental Concurrency.'

3) Let's Shatter! (Strong) - A skill in which the user uses their Psycic skill to selectively break apart an object, causing area damage to anything close by. At typical strength, the skill can break apart a large stone. At higher power, the user can rip apart large metal armored objects by sheer force. 20 Second Recharge.

4) Watch Out! (Defensive) A defensive skill that automatically sends a barrage of nearby small objects in the general direction of a detected entity of concern. It requires at least one of Alessa's mental halves passively enact the skill. It is highly dependent on the availability of small objects in the nearby vicinity of the user. It can also be used offensively if an opponent gets within close range. 10 Second Recharge (between counter barrages).

5) Ballistic Calibrator (Non-Attack) A passive skill that grants Alessa an accuracy bonus on her ranged skills. Her accuracy exponentially increases based upon the opponent's observed movements. At high calibration it is possible for her to calculate the opponent's next possible movement possibilities in real time. Regular spirits can have their movement patterns mapped in less than a minute. Spirits with irregular movement patterns or high agility may take a little longer.

Summoner Character Sheet

Name: Ionia
Age: 17
Gender: F
Character Type: Summoner

Appearance: [Show]

Personality: Although part of her still does not believe the whole Limbo Universe and Patchwork World thingy, Ionia can be considered sociable, although not as much as your typical cheery girl in most medias. Bug her too much or being whiny, expect a serious retaliation or verbal abuse from her.

Does not joke around much, and more of the "less talk more action" type. Ionia also does not step into other people's personal matters, unless it is related to human lives and their future.

Summoning Bonus

->Direct Focus
Somewhat similar to Sagawa's Damage Transfer. Should one of her Spirits run out of stamina or concentration power, they can siphon and use Ionia's. But the drawback varies between the amount of stamina or focus that the Spirits has drained from her. Either she will feel some dizziness, gone into unconscious state, or at most, risk of being killed.

-> Proficiency Linkage

Whenever Ionia summons a Great Spirit, she will be able to experience memories with the related Great Spirit, for the purpose of combat. If Ionia summons Lim, she will gain the proficiency of hand to hand combat, due to the Great Spirit's knowledge, and if she summons Yukino, it is the same, in exception that she will have the proficiency in firearms handling.

The bonus only applies when one of the Great Spirits are in full combat condition. Besides that, Ionia herself does not receive any form of physical stats increases, citing that while she is able to fight, she might not be as fast or strong as a properly trained Summoner or a full fledged Great Spirit.

Bio

During the first time she woke up on the Patchwork World of Earth, she forgot everything related to her background, and a huge portion about the history of her destroyed world, sans some basic knowledge. One of the denizens of the Patchwork has taken the liberty and named her as Ionia, based on a famous idol back in the old Earth due to her striking pink hair and green eyes.

At first, Ionia refused to believe that Earth was destroyed, and took everything as a some kind of dream. But day after day, and through some incidents (one of them being that she slapped herself pretty hard for several times in the face, thinking that she can get out this 'dream'), Ionia decided to accept the fact, that she has met the doomsday and her world was destroyed.

Though bugged from time to time wondering why she was chosen to be in the Limbo Universe rather than having a permanent death, Ionia was assigned to some menial tasks, from assisting people in their daily life, taking care some children and some more technical stuff. She has a knack on handling technology, though not as skilled as a typical mechanic or a programmer. Ionia can use some simple technologies such as the smartphone from the old Earth, or at most, hacking terminals guarded with simple security systems. Plus, she is a fan of black chocolate as well.

Ionia's ability to summon Great Spirits was discovered at one of the yearly spirit summoning tests that are conducted throughout the Patchwork Earth, which are only conducted to teenagers and newly discovered survivors in the Patchwork. After that, she was transferred to the main town, and together with other Summoners.

Great Spirit Character Sheet

Name: Yukino Kobayashi [The Contamination Effect]
Age: 20
Gender: F
Character Type: Great Spirit
Master: Ionia

Appearance: [Show]

Weapons

->Light and Medium grade firearms.
Yukino is proficient in handling small arms, but unfortunately, not the machine guns, bazookas or any other heavy support weapons.

->Defense Armor
The special suit that Yukino was wearing when she got summoned by Ionia for the first time. Through testing and on her explanation, the suit is designed for hazardous environment usage. It offers some protection from ballistic projectiles, but not to most weapons.

Abilities

->Precision Overdrive [Strong]
By pooling a large amount of her concentration, Yukino can increase her accuracy for a few seconds. In return when the skill duration is over, she has to rest and thus unable to attack for a quick moment.

->Fortification [Defense]
Increases the amount of armor that her Defense Armor has, allowing her to soak a large amount of damage and negates most Weak attacks. In return, the Fortification makes the armor extremely heavy, and it severely reduces Yukino's movement ability to a crawl.

->Powershot [Weak]
Yukino fires a round that explodes on contact. Only usable in pistols, shotguns and semi-auto rifles. The strength of the explosive round is dependent on the type of guns that she used.

->Materialization [Non-Attack]
Summons or materializes a firearm, based on her memory and imagination. Despite that she can create guns from thin air, but Yukino can only create and maintain 2 firearms, rifles or not, at a time, and if she wants to change guns, she has to dematerialize another and create a new one from scratch. This requires extensive concentration power. And yes, she cannot create heavy firearms through this ability.

Materialization List
Level 1 - WWII-based weaponry, such as bolt action rifles, scoped rifles, other 1935s-1940s era based weapons.
Level 2 - ???
Level 3 - ???

->Rush In [Non Attack]
Allows her to dual wield firearms. 2 rifles? Yes, she can. 2 shotguns? Possible. 2 sniper rifles? Maybe not. In exchange of higher rate of fire and bullets down on the enemy lines, she suffers a penalty in accuracy.

Reputation

One of the recent Spirits as Ionia is her first master. Yukino dislikes the fact that she has to obey some teenage girl ordering her around, but yet she obeys her orders anyway. Other than that, no one has ever seen her real face under that Defense Armor suit that she was wearing whenever she appeared or summoned, aside from her feminine voice and figure.

Some of the Patchwork denizens called her a demon, or an alien as a result from her insectoid-like helmet, and Yukino's unwillingness to reveal her face to the public. She does not have any recollections of her past life, nor how did she ended up in the Limbo Universe. But surprisingly, she maintained her knowledge in combat warfare and firearms handling.

Back in her world, Yukino is a soldier, albeit being forced to. She and the others fought against mindless man-eating creatures which was once normal living beings got transformed by a virus while struggling to protect the remaining human population. Yukino has a faint memory that she was perished in one of the operations that she has participated...

Personality: Yukino has all of the trademarks of a lackluster soldier. Lazy, hates blood and sticky things. Somewhat cowardly when in terms of engaging enemies. But what stands out from most useless grunts is her determination. Once she sets her mind into an objective, Yukino becomes relentless...

Name: Yue Ming, Lim [Meta-Bestia, Exiled Ixils]
Age: 35
Gender: M
Character Type: Great Spirit
Master: Ionia

Appearance: [Show]

Weapons

Instead of his usual loadout of assault rifles and SMGs, this time Lim opted for a lighter approach, and armed himself only a single handgun. But this is due to the fact that he changed his fighting style...

->H&K USP .45
An all round tactical handgun that can be customized even further for a specific operation or missions with attachments. It has a decent accuracy at range and powerful enough to stop a typical human target within one or two shots on the chest, thanks to its .45 ACP rounds. Durable and reliable is also one of its hallmarks, although it has lesser magazine size compared to most latest guns.

Abilities

->Point Shooting [Strong]
Through his concentration on the targets, Lim 'marks' the weak point of an enemy, before delivering an accurate shot for a quick clean kill. He can mark 5 targets or 5 shots at most, instantly disposing or obliterate them within a heartbeat. Although this skill is quite powerful, it uses a lot of concentration power, which renders him unable to use other abilities and at times, provoke fatigue.

->Crack Shot [Strong]
Ever heard the fact that a bullet travels in a straight trajectory? But not anymore with the Crack Shot. Lim swings his handgun and fires it, resulting the bullet to 'curve' and presumably hit someone behind a cover. It may look easy as that, but in order to pull this off, it uses a large amount of concentration, in similar amount to pull off Point Shooting. It has the same drawbacks as the ability above.

->Blind Fire [Weak]
Lim sticks his handgun out and blindly fires at his opponent's direction, hoping to distract them and forces them into cover, without risking himself. Accuracy? Nope. Luck helps sometimes.

->Hybrid Fighter [Non-Attack]
He used his extensive experience in unarmed combat and combines it with his gunslinging skills to create an old classic hybrid that everyone knows of: the Gun-Kata.

->Shadow Walker [Non-Attack]
Lim's eyes are adapted to the darkness. He can walk in the dark without tripping over and spot enemies, before silently subduing them. Shooting the lights are one of his hobbies.

Reputation

Yue Ming, or normally he would ask most people to refer him to his surname Lim, has came across several summoners, and most of them got 'obliterated' by their opponents. He always wanted to shoot his summoners for being incompetent and what not, but only hampered by the migraine imposed on him every time he disobeyed his Summoner's command. Not many people likes him due to his personality though.

In his past life, Yue Ming is a mercenary, but with a degree from a university, which makes him distinctive from any other hired guns due to his knowledge. He was involved in the downfall of Espon in the Meta-Bestia case, and the Ixils group.

When he discovered that Ionia is his master, Lim was at complete disbelief and intended to blow her head off with his .45 and release himself from ownership. Fortunately, the migraine system kicked in, thus saving Ionia and leaving Lim no choice but to serve under her.

Although Yue Ming may look the same as Yukino, but their roles are different. Yukino is specialized in frontal assault, whereas Lim is much more in surgical strikes and perhaps stealth.

Personality: Lim's motto of cash over everything makes him a greedy person in general, and a selfish one too, which explains his several attempts on trying to kill his Summoners. Aside from his heavy biased mindset on money and achievements, Yue Ming is a reliable person that does not back stab people for no apparent reason, even money is involved, unless, that someone is a rotten person.

Summoner Character Sheet [Antagonist]

Name: "Kanra"
Age: 19, based on physical features.
Gender: F
Character Type: Summoner

Appearance: [Show]

Personality: An idiosyncratic person who claimed that she 'loves' humanity by bringing them suffering and troubles. Kanra also likes to help those who has a trouble in expressing their 'darkest desires', by giving them the appropriate 'tools'. With the fact that people does not die forever in Limbo Universe, she said that 'human lives are less than a penny's worth.' Manipulative and exhibits unpredictable behaviour.

Summoning Bonus

->Active Camouflage
Kanra can either make herself invisible or cloak her Great Spirit, making them temporarily invisible for 10 seconds, regardless of their actions. Despite being slightly superior than Karin's cloaking ability, it still suffers from most "un-cloaking" techniques. Usually used for setting up quick ambushes and sneak attacks, or an escape. It has a cooldown of 30 minutes.

Bio

Being one of the rare populations that has retained a large portion of their past memories prior to the Apocalypse, Kanra was different than your average person in Patchwork Earth. She used trickery, lies and her luck to get the job done. When she managed to summon her first and only Great Spirit, Kojima, she take things to another level which ultimately ends up with violence.

By the time she passed the final exam and graduated, it was rumored that no one in her group but except Kanra, survived the exam. A lot of shady rumors surrounding how she graduated, but it quickly went silent when students who discussed about it suddenly disappeared, often with Kanra questioning where the missing person is.

Several months later, Kanra got accepted as a Summoner for the Restoration Ideology. She wanted to join the Unification, but the authorities there deemed her to be 'uncontrollable' and lacked a 'morality compass', while the Restoration saw this an opportunity to bolster up their ranks, seeing how capable Kanra is with her Great Spirit and her own ability in combat. Without any choice, she agreed at the offer, without letting the authorities knowing that Kanra joined into the Ideologies is merely for 'bloodsport'.

Kanra was not her real name however, and she has no desire to let people who she truly is behind her psychotic facade. One of her main trademarks in appearance is that she frequently wears a fur jacket. It was speculated that Kanra might be one of the Shadow Corps, due to her skills in knife combat.

Weapons

->Karambit
A handheld, concealable curved blade which is previously utilized as an agrarian tool, now converted and heavily customized into a self defense weapon. Kanra carries a folding stainless steel karambit with a black matte finishing throughout the weapon.

Great Spirit Character Sheet

Name: Kousaka "Kojima" Hanejima [.hack//requiem]
Age: looks like 18.
Gender: M
Character Type: Great Spirit
Master: Kanra

Appearance: [Show]

Personality: Calm, and loves his job as a Great Spirit. Kojima casually takes on the matter of life and death. He also possess almost the same personality as his Summoner, which makes him easily understand Kanra's thoughts, and execute her orders.

Weapons

->Switchblade
An unnamed stainless steel switchblade that he acquired during his involvement in the online neargear game called .hack//requiem.

Abilities

--- Mystic Eyes --- Flash Strike --- Counter --- Sense --- Maneuverability ---

>>Mystic Eyes of Perceptive Destruction [Strong, Sustained]
Allows Kojima to perceive weak points and faults in the form of lines and points on all matters and living beings for 5 seconds. Should he completely trace a line of fault on a matter, it will be severely damaged or wounded, regardless of material and size, alive or not. For example, if Kojima traces a fault line on a concrete wall, the wall will crack and fall into pieces as he continues to trace it with his switchblade until the end, but the wall still remains, albeit severely damaged.

If he pierces a weak point, that particular matter receives tremendous damage that impairs its original function(s), and if it is a living being, it suffers a heavy injury, without any damage on the body itself. Using a rotating fan as an example, if Kojima pierces a weak point of the fan with his knife, it will slow it down. The fault lines and weak points are best exploited using sharp, pointed objects, such as Kojima's switchblade.

He can trace as many fault lines and pierce weak points as he can, as long he does not exceed the time limit. Using this ability beyond 5 seconds will put his eyes and brain under extreme stress, even though he is a Great Spirit, perceiving such things require large amounts of power, and may result him in a stroke or blindness. When the Mystic Eyes is activated, Kojima's eyes will glow in blue color.

It was rumored that there is one person that can singlehandedly defeat a Great Spirit with only an attack, but whether it is related to this ability however, is largely unknown.

Cooldown period is 15 minutes.

>>Flash Strike [Weak, Sustained]
Upon activation, Kojima will have a sudden increase of attack speed, catching his opponents off guard and disrupting their ability to block or dodge properly.

A sustained skill for 10 seconds and has a 20 seconds recovery.

>>Counter [Defense, Passive]
A passive defense ability that will be activated upon having an extended fight that lasts more than 3 minutes, as Kojima started to read and memorize his opponents' movements and will try to stop or intercept their attacks, creating an opening, giving him a chance to strike back.

>>Sense [Non-Attack, Passive]
Upon hours and days spent in both the online nervegear game and in the Limbo Universe, Kojima spent time in honing his dodging abilities and delivering percise strikes which is used in conjunction with his Mystic Eyes ability. Relying on his muscle memory and experience, he does not have to block, and instead sidestepping or evading enemy attacks.

>>Maneuverability [Non-Attack, Passive]
Another aspect that made the Restoration superiors to accept Kanra despite her personality is Kojima's maneuverability skill. He can quickly cover grounds and possess a myriad of athletic abilities like those of the older Great Spirits. Wallrunning, acrobatic maneuvers are not a feat for him.

Reputation

Unlike any other Great Spirits or Summoners, Kousaka, or Kojima as he preferred to call him with, has been keeping a low profile. He rarely causes trouble in the Limbo Universe, even though someone confronts him, he would try to settle it peacefully. If not, Kojima will propose to take it to the back alleys and 'solves' the issue.

After he becomes Kanra's Great Spirit, Kojima has no qualms on it nor on his Summoner's attitude. Most of the time, he simply obeys Kanra's orders, and sometimes gives his own opinion on how to do it better, which Kanra accepts from time to time. Kojima seemingly shows no desire for anything else, aside serving as his role as a Great Spirit.

He once mentioned that he was involved with an immersive online game called .hack//requiem in the past, but he did not elaborate on it.

Summoner Character Sheet

Name: Norman Lee
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Character Type: Summoner
Height: 5'10"
Appearance [Show]

Bio: Unlike some other summoners, Norman retained his relatively normal memories. Also, Norman, unlike many others, didn't lose any of his immediate family in the Apocalypse. He cooperated with others and tried to live in relative comfort (though it was difficult without his precious Internet).

Like Sagawa, his ability to summon came out of nowhere. Unlike her though, news of his ability was only known to his family. After getting things settled, he went to a town.

Personality: Though he looks to be the extroverted type, he is actually an introvert and a bit of an otaku. Nonetheless, he is able to talk to people without fear. He is usually pessimistic, perverted, foul-mouthed, and misanthropic. However, he would not perform a truly evil act on anyone unless they deserved it. Somewhat of a chaotic/neutral good character.

Summoning Bonus: Boost- Can temporarily energize a spirit, causing his/her stats to be raised for a few seconds.

Great Spirit Character Sheet

Name: Reiji Yoshino
Age: He stopped counting (looks 16-20)
Gender: Male
Character Type: Great Spirit
Master: Norman Lee
Height: 5'6"

Weapons: N/A

Appearance [Show]

Reputation

Fallen godlike being.

In his world, Reiji was a magus involved in a sort of battle royale. After numerous trials, he emerged victorious but lost many precious things in exchange, including some of his abilities. Though he sought to fix his past, he was unable to make lasting changes. After a mistake, he found himself in the world of Aigle. His will broke and he unintentionally created an alternate personality (Joe) to control his body.

His summoning under Norman was the first time he had appeared in the Limbo Universe. He was initially annoyed that he didn't die, but decided to wait and see what would happen. He doesn't care much for Norman.

Personality: Is usually quiet and if he needs to talk, he will try to be concise. Misanthropic, pessimistic, and apathetic at times.

Abilities

1. Time Manipulation: Slow [Non-Attack]- Slows down the target. Duration and degree depend on the object's properties (for example, a larger object will be slowed for only a short period of time), Reiji's preparation time (that is, preparing the skill for a full minute vs a few seconds), and distance from the target.

2.Time Manipulation: Haste [Non-Attack]- Speeds up the target. Duration and degree depend on the object's properties, Reiji's preparation time, and distance from the target.

3. Time Manipulation: Rewind [Defensive]- Sends an object back to a state it was in earlier. Depends on the object's properties, Reiji's preparation time, and distance from the object.

4. Time Manipulation: Pause? [Strong]- Nearly everything but Reiji is unable to act. It only affects a small area around Reiji. Duration depends on Reiji's preparation time.

5. Enhanced Stamina [Non-Attack]- Allows usage of his other high-energy skills.

Name: Kenshin Himura
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Character Type: Great Spirit
Master: Norman Lee
Height: 5'2"

Weapons

A katana and a tanto. They have the ability to damage or cut through magical objects (Equalizer).

Appearance [Show]

Reputation

Legendary manslayer?

Perhaps through a mistake in the summoning process or previous death, Kenshin has no memory of who he is. When Norman showed the manga Rurouni Kenshin for Kenshin to read, nothing was familiar to him. He also uses a different sword style than the one the "real" Kenshin Himura uses and possesses different abilities. Even his name was unknown to him; Norman named him "Kenshin Himura" since he resembled the character.

He was summoned around three weeks before the events of the RP started and soon became entranced with Norman's manga and anime. He helps out Norman with various chores and other menial duties.

Personality: Similar to the original Kenshin, he is soft-spoken, serene, and humble. He would rather solve conflicts through words than violence. Is a bit naive and sensitive.

Abilities

1. God-speed Impulse [Non-Attack]- The average human reaction time is 160 milliseconds. Kenshin's reaction time is 90 milliseconds. This allows him to react to almost anything with superhuman speed.

2. Healing Factor [Defensive]- Kenshin heals at an accelerated rate. Though he will still die from getting his head lobbed off or having his heart pierced, other less severe wounds heal within days (or minutes depending on severity).

3. Equalizer [Non-Attack]- Kenshin's blades passively resist and can cut through magical objects (for example, cutting an ice wall that's tough as diamond in two while not getting damaged from the hardness). However, the blades still require maintenance and cannot cut through tough things that aren't magical (like a tank's armor).

4. Karuno-ryu [Strong]- Kenshin's kenjutsu style. It utilizes a variety of techniques for a number of situations, focusing highly on offense. Though none of the techniques utilize any magical elements (and can therefore be obtained by rigorous practice or copied by some sort of ability), it does require a high amount of fitness to perform the moves.

5. Combat Runner [Non-Attack]- The user has the capacity to efficiently cover ground with quickness and with minimal effort. With this skill, the user is able to rush up for a charge at much smaller distances than normally required.

Yulia was believed to originate in the same world as Geoffrey. She was a villager who fought valiantly in a war. It was said that she could survive an ambush and slay the ambushers. Such valor and loyalty brought herself as a hero.

Yulia made herself known to the Patchwork Worlds as a warrior in the Colloseum, appeared shortly after Geoffrey 'retires'. Everyone who fought in or watches the Colloseum daily referred her as the Female version of Blue. Though their skills are different. Blue relying on protection while Yulia seems to be more agressive than Blue. But her time in the Colloseum is very short, as she got obliterated while challenging for the Champion title.

Shortly after the obliteration of Blue, Yulia emerges as Keiri's Great Spirit.
Personality:
Yulia seems to be a calm and composed fighter in the battlefield. Although outside the battlefield... Yulia is pretty much shy. She also seem to have a rural accent as she was originally a rural villager on her own world. She is also pretty much used to hard labor.
Abilities:
- Justaxpose (Non-Attacking)
Multiple phantom images (Max count:3) of Yulia appears in one batch. Although it was just a phantom, the strikes hurts 50% from the real one does. It will last until 2 minutes passes or until it got struck. The phantom images didn't possess the abilities the real one have, one hour recharge time.

- Combat Runner (Non-Attacking)
The user has the capacity to efficiently cover ground with quickness and with minimal effort. With this skill, the user is able to rush up for a charge at much smaller distances than normally required.

- Aegis (Defensive)
Worked similar but different from Geoffrey's Aegis, Yulia's Aegis are not static, but can be pierced by strong force(strike/magic), It can hold on for 20 seconds, 2 minutes recharge time.

- Eclipse (Strong)
Imbues Yulia's Lance with the strength of the moon, for one strike only, the power gains 5 times the strength and it ignores any sorts of defense. Yulia needs to focus for 15 seconds, leaving her open while focusing, 1 day recharge time

- Phantom Javelins (Weak)
Yulia can 'throw' her Lance, creating a phantom image of her lance. It doesn't hurt the enemy, perfect to fool her enemies.

And so It begins! Thanks to all who signed up so far. I'll do my best to approach handling this RP with the same dedication as I did for my old long as heck rp's from back in the day.

Things might be a little confusing at first, but don't worry, there is a method to this introductory madness.

Also, as Emiya once suggested. NPC characters I create that don't have any real name, or enemies can be freely controlled by other players so they don't have to wait on me to respond.

[Sagawa Mizunohara, The World of Dream]

"Ionia! Norman! Keiriii! ....where did all of you guys go?"

...

"Something tells me this isn't going to end well...."

A girl stared down at the ground, feeling completely dejected after realizing she was not receiving any sort of response. The girl, Sagawa, glanced around her new surroundings that have seemed to have isolated her from the rest of the world.

The area was grim, as if beckoning people to their demise. A dark sheet seemed to cover the area, and made it impossible to see far out even though it's true size seemed to extend far, far beyond what could be seen. Even then, it felt like whatever was out there to be seen was not something to look forward to.

The worried Sagawa kept her feet planted to where she stood not daring to get lost. Rather she attempted to assess her situation by retracing what had happened.

"Let's see... I went to that Summoner meeting in the town... and then I was introduced to those guys. We where supposed be a part of the same training unit. And then, we went on a practice mission, and..."

Her lack of memory after that point was as abrupt as a cliff.

"I can't remember anything after that..." She said frowning to herself.

[...]

"Who's there!?"

It was faint, but Sagawa recognized a voice coming from the distance. She glanced around, trying to find the person it came from.

"I am."

This time, it sounded much closer. In fact, it sounded as if it had spoken right into her ear. It was close enough for her to try fighting against if she was fast enough, but her muscles had suddenly tensed up. Her body followed it's instincts and kept still as Sagawa mentally pleaded with it to obey her wishes.

"I see. So you're the one that is housing that 'thing.' I suppose my search is over."

(That 'Thing?') Sagawa thought, even as she remained frozen.

"Well alright then. I'm sorry to kill you in your dream, but I suppose it's much less painful to get killed by having your 'Soul' eaten rather than being torn apart in reality. Though to be honest, I can't really say that with 100% confidence. Painful or not your mind has to be 'broken' either way."

Sagawa heard the man take a step forward. She finally saw the form of the mysterious figure as he walked in front of her. It was a stranger, wearing a hooded red cloak. Unfortunately for Sagawa, seeing the person did nothing to inform her of what exactly was going on, or what he looked like under those clothes. It was only the moment the figure raised his arm and snapped his fingers did the reason behind her petrifying feelings of fear came to light.

"Come, Cerberus!"

At first it seemed like there was nothing. However, the area was suddenly hit by a strong and malevolent presence. A red piercing gaze came from the darkness, and approached with the sound of heavy footsteps. The footsteps belonged to something quite large, something massive, something that was probably meant to 'break' Sagawa's mind.

...GRRR

A towering three headed dog came into full view. It's darkened grey skin made it blend with the surrounding darkness, but up close, it was unmistakeable.

"Now Cerberus, bite off her hea- GUH...!"

Before he could finish his command, he felt something strike into his shoulder. He soon found himself reeling in pain. A throwing dagger had landed itself deep into his arm, and it's blade had dug deep enough to the point that the hand-guard was an inch away from his own skin.

"Not on my watch, you creep!"

The source of the thrown dagger landed close to Sagawa. The blonde haired girl drew out more knives hidden in her long black tench-coat. She was prepared to protect her master.

"What the...?! How quickly did she Summon her Great Spirit!?"

The man turned to his obedient pet.

"Cerberus! Take out her Great Spirit before it can cause any more trouble!"

Upon hearing this, the spirit Alexis braced herself for the worst.

...

ROAAAR! The three headed dog wailed as it's central head became fully blinded by Alexis' throwing daggers. However, the Cerberus' opponent was already in bad shape, she was struggling to even move.

"Damn it... am I already going to get 'obliterated?'"

The fight was brief, but the blond haired spirit was already down for the count. The darkness of this world was make it very difficult to keep track of the Cerberus that was running around. The situation seemed pretty hopeless if things kept on going as they where. Sagawa reached out to her Great Spirit.

"Alexis...! We're...!"

The great spirit agreed to what her master was trying to say. Things where pretty hopeless as it was. However, Alexis knew that there as no way they where the only ones there.

"I know you other people are out there! Are you seriously gonna leave us to die!?"

The hooded man had noticed the presence of the others as well.

"Cerberus! Let's finish off the summoner quickly! If we take her out now then we'll be done!"

The enraged dog followed it's masters orders. It made a full charge towards Sagawa and Alexis, seemingly fueled by a bloodlust from the pain in it's eyes.

OOC: Whew, just got back from a camping activity. But yes, I still have the stamina and idea so yeah, I posted :x

[Ionia]
[The World of Dream]

"..."

A pink haired girl sprawled on the ground, unconscious. Then, she woke up with a gasp, as if someone surprised her.

"Ugh... Where... am I?" the girl said, as she slowly got up from the ground.

The environment however, has nothing but pitch black walls. Other than herself, the room was devoid of anything. She took a step forward and moved her right arm, presumably trying to touch a wall or something, determining how large the room is.

"I have a feeling that this room... is kind of endless in size." She muttered to herself.

Then...

"Ionia... is it?" A voice calling out the girl's name. "You and your friends will perish within the darkness..."

"Perish...?!" She responded, while in a cautious stance.

Ionia heard something was approaching behind her. As soon she turned, something leaped towards her. A bipedal monster. And it has a pair of long, noticeable claws. The rest of its physical features however, are unable to distinguish due to the darkness. Unable to react on time, Ionia screamed, as its outstretched hands are heading towards her.

As she prepares to meet her doom, several gunshots echoed in the air, and the thing was shot down and instantly turned into dusts when it hits the ground.

"Phew, just in time to prevent a bloody scene. Are you okay?"

A female voice, slightly altered with electronic tones spoke to Ionia. It was Yukino, one of her Great Spirits, with an assault rifle in hand. The lights on her insectoid-like helmet blinked from time to time.

"Yeah, I'm... okay. Thank you." Ionia replied, with a shaken tone.

"I know you other people are out there! Are you seriously gonna leave us to die!?"

The duo immediately turned towards the source of the voice.

"Wait, that's Mizunohara! We better get to her!"

Yukino gave a nod, before following her master. And they arrived, just in time to see a man in a red cloak, facing Sagawa. Her Great Spirit however, was in a bad shape.

"Great, now you are here! But it's too late! She'll die, now!"

"We will see..."

Yukino immediately engaged the Cerberus and fired her weapon. Although she missed her shots, it was enough to deter the canine away from further attacking. Taking the open time, Yukino reloaded her rifle and aimed at the man. The red laser sight on her weapon made it even more obvious.

"Mizunohara, are you alright?"

@ Emiya : Whoo, that's one foot in the door!

@All : Yes I'm already breaking the established courtesy by posting right after. Just like old fashioned gendou city practice. Just jump in as soon as you feel like it. I can keep things moving as long at one other person posts after me. There certainly was a problem of people getting left behind but that was typically due to large cast sizes. :P

The charge of the Cerberus was deterred when someone fired a couple of shots at it.

"Mizunohara, are you alright?"

Ionia was thankfully close enough to arrive before it was too late.

"Yeah! It took you long enough, Washboard."

[Ionia Gained Default Title! - Washboard Onee-Chan!]

"Thanks though, now that we have that things Summoner targeted, everything's turned to our favor!" Said Sagawa as she pointed to the hooded man with a red dot trained on his body.

The hooded man held his hands up.

"Heh. That isn't going to change the fact that I still need to kill her. CERBERUS ATT...-!"

A preemptive shot. Before the man could finish his command, he fell to the ground from a direct shot to the head. Within a few moment, his body disintegrated into dust.

"We got him!"

At that moment, Sagawa and Ionia where suddenly thrown off balance.

"Master! Watch out!" Yelled Alexis.

The cerberus was again making a mad charge towards Ionia and Sagawa. Both of them where in the path of it's charge, however...

"Move!"

Sagawa pushed Ionia out of the way, just before she herself was hurled into the air. A single thought crossed her mind in the few seconds before she crashed into the ground.

(The spirit is supposed stop after you take out it's Master. So... does that mean that Dog isn't a spirit?)

Sagawa hit the ground with a TWACK. It was only then did she come to the painful understanding that the ground had a hardness very much like concrete.

"Uaagh...!"

Pain pulsated through the arm that Sagawa fell onto as she tried to move. It was hurting so terribly that she became immobilized where she had fell.

*GROWL*

As if following the hooded man's final order, the monster remained fixated on attacking Sagawa. At that moment, it's back was facing Yukino, making a clean shot to it's head incredibly difficult. Sagawa looked up as she saw glaring white teeth of exquisite sharpness that where as long as she herself was tall.

"Master...get away from that thing!" Groaned Alexis in an exhausted, struggling voice. She was having difficulty standing back up on her own strength, and unable to throw one of her daggers.

[Keiri - The World of Dream]

"Hngh..."

Keiri slowly opened her eyes, she noticed she wasn't at a place she knew. Keiri slowly stand up and looked around.

"Sagawa? Norman? Ionia? Anyone?"

There were no response...

"Where are you guys?"

Suddenly, a black creature jumps at Keiri.

"Gyah!"

Keiri managed to evade in a nick of time. She then saw the creature a little bit clearer... the creature was all covered in black, it resembled a children, but it have antennaes on it's head, its eyes glows in a bright yellow.

Keiri braces herself for another strike but then she saw the creature was cut in half and turned into dust.

"Huh?"

An armored knight in blue showed up behind the dust. He looked at Keiri asking if she was fine.

". . . Eh? I'm fine, did you see the others Blue?"

Blue shook his head.

"I see--"

Some noises was heard somewhere, both Keiri and Blue looked at the direction where the sound came from. Blue looked at Keiri.

"That should be them..."

Both of them ran to the source of the sound. They then saw a three headed hound approaching Sagawa with her Great Spirit struggling to stand up. With Ionia and her Great Spirit also struggling to get a clean shot on the hound.

"This doesn't look good."

Keiri then pointed at Sagawa, a small dome was then formed around Sagawa. Blue then pointed his swords towards the hound, aiming for it's side.

"Stay inside of that dome!"

Keiri yelled to Sagawa, Blue then dashed off from Keiri, as he went close to the hound, Blue stabbed the hound at such speed that it could even pierce right through the creature.

[Sagawa Mizunohara, The World of Dream]

As the Dog's head moved closer, it was suddenly blocked by a dome like barrier that had formed around Sagawa. At this, she heard someone yell out to her.

"Stay inside of that dome!"

Overcoming her pain, she looked towards the source of Keiri's voice.

"It's you...! Tanktop!"

[Keiri Gained her Default Title! - Tanktop Samurai!]

Sagawa then saw as her Spirit's lengthy blade sunk into the Dog's flesh. It looked like her spirit just pulled off one of it's stronger abilities. The aftermath found the large sword dug into the Dog.

Cerberus howled in pain. As if by instinct, it's rightmost head turned and quickly bit into the sword dug into it's mouth, and flung it away, along with the one wielding it.

"Now way... what's that Monster made out of?" Said Sagawa. "Does it even have any blood inside of it?"

Inded, the wound would've created quite the wound on any normal opponent. Blood would normally be oozing out of a wound of such a size. However, that wasn't the case with this dog. The thing coming out of it's wound was much more different.

"Geez, so you two wenches JUST had to wake up huh?"

It was a voice that was supposed already be dead.

"...what? You! But Ionia's Spirit shot you in the head!" Said Sagawa.

"..Sagawa, I'm sure it's pretty obvious if that guy didn't just lay there dead like any other normal human." Said Alexis, finally able to limp to her master's side.

"The Blondie's right. The person you're trying to fight against right now is God."

The man in hood let out a hearty laugh, enjoying his own comedy.

"Well, maybe that's inaccurate. If I really was God, I would've just killed you all with a snap of a finger. But oh well, this place is my realm. You all where screwed the moment you decided to wake up here."

The man's exposition was creating more questions than answers. But for whatever reason, the nonsense he was spouting seemed accurate in it's own way. To this, Sagawa turned to her two companions.

"Ionia, Tanktop. You two have to get out here ...you guys have to run!"

[What, are you expecting me to give you a warm greeting or something?]

"I'm sorry about what I said to you guys earlier. But... just listen to me and get out of here...!"

[Tank Top, Washboard, and Monk. That isn't a bad set of nicknames for people such as your lot.]

"I'm going to hold him back... so go!" Said Sagawa in a strained voice.

"Sorry girly, your heroics ain't gonna do much to help your hopeless friends here. Whether they get killed by me or not, once you're dead, the whole world is gonna get busted apart. They would've had the chance to survive if they kept sleeping."

The man turned towards the two girls. After a moment of silence, a look of irritation formed on his face.

"What? Why are you guys giving me those angry faces!? I don't deserve this! Can you not see that I'm the good guy!? Do you not understand how important it is for this 'thing' to die here!?"

...

The main raised his hand, a revolver seemed to drop out from the sky and came into his grip. He automatically aimed for Ionia. The black dog reoriented itself towards the two's general direction, finally focusing it's attention away from Sagawa.

"You're not trying to piss off God now, are you?"

...

The next moment happened as if time had fell to a slowdown, the girls where able to simultaneously see the hooded man shoot off his rifle, and the over-sized Cerberus make it's first leap towards the two.

[Norman Lee, The World of Dream]

"Fffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuck."

Norman let out a yawn and stood up. He looked around. Pitch black. Nonetheless, he could somehow see one figure standing near him.

"I told you shit like this would happen, Kenshin."

The red-haired swordsman scratched his head.

"Unfortunately, yes. By the way Norman, I heard some noises coming over from that way."
"Alright."

Norman followed Kenshin. They saw an interesting scene.

"...You two wenches JUST had to wake up huh?"
"...what? You! But Ionia's Spirit shot you in the head!"
"..Sagawa, I'm sure it's pretty obvious if that guy didn't just lay there dead like any other normal human."
"The Blondie's right. The person you're trying to fight against right now is God. Well, maybe that's inaccurate. If I really was God, I would've just killed you all with a snap of a finger. But oh well, this place is my realm. You all where screwed the moment you decided to wake up here."
"Ionia, Tanktop. You two have to get out here ...you guys have to run! I'm sorry about what I said to you guys earlier. But... just listen to me and get out of here...! I'm going to hold him back... so go!"

Norman turned to Kenshin.

"Now kill the goddamn guy in the cloak!"
"But he cannot die, correct?"
"Fuck man, I'm actually Bill Gates."
"You ar-"
"It's called 'lying' Kenshin. Ever heard of it? Just cut him into itty-bitty pieces so he can't regenerate. GO!"

The migraine hit Kenshin. Though he was going to aim for the beast, he reluctantly charged towards the cloaked figure. Norman picked on his one of his fingernails in irritation.

"...You're not trying to piss off God now, are you?"

After Kenshin deflected the bullet with his katana, he closed the distance in an instant and assumed a highly offensive form, the jōdan-no-kamae. He swung his blade down, aiming to cleave the figure in two.

Norman merely observed the scene before him, making no effort to stop the Cerberus' charge.

@Ugo: Eh...? ^^;

[Ionia]
[The World of Dream]

"Yeah! It took you long enough, Washboard."

"Anytime...!" She responds back with a cheery expression, but that does not hide her obvious cross popping veins on her forehead.

("If it wasn't the current situation right now, I would have already strangled her for calling me Washboard!")

At that time, Yukino still has her weapon aimed at the red hooded man.

"Heh. That isn't going to change the fact that I still need to kill her. CERBERUS ATT...-!"

"Maybe not today, sir."

She fired her assault rifle, and he fell to ground and disintegrated into dust, just like the earlier encounter with the claw-like monster.

"We got him!" Sagawa happy exclaimed.

Ionia on the other hand...

"Hey! We should capture him and let him tell us the way to--"

Then, the Cerberus from before charged at the two Summoners.

"Move!"

Sagawa pushed Ionia aside, bravely taking the pounce from the hound and landed on the ground hard.

"Wait, isn't that Cerberus supposed to stop moving?!"

On the other hand, Yukino was moving in, trying to get a better shot. But fortunately, a dome of barrier formed around the wounded Sagawa, and halted the Cerberus attempt to kill her.

"Stay inside of that dome!"

It was Keiri, another Summoner they got along with. Then, a medieval soldier in blue dashed towards the Cerberus with speed and stabbed its sides. Instead of getting KOed, the hound bit the very sword that stabbed it, and sent it flying along with the Great Spirit wielding it. Ionia remained quiet, whereas Yukino started getting noisy.

"Dang it! Are we fighting an immortal being?" Says Yukino, as her 'eyes' looked at her master.

Ionia maintained her silence throughout the blabbering from the hooded man. Then Sagawa faced her partners.

"Ionia, Tanktop. You two have to get out here ...you guys have to run!"

"Where to? We're trapped obviously."

"I'm sorry about what I said to you guys earlier. But... just listen to me and get out of here...!"

"Oh my head..." Ionia facepalmed. "We're trapped in his dimension, and we have to find a way to get out, and one of the ways is to fight him. Running anywhere aimlessly isn't going to help!"

"I'm going to hold him back... so go!" Said Sagawa in a strained voice.

"You think you can handle that bast*** alone? Take a look at your own Great Spirit and yourself. You two are in a bad shape."

Moments later, the hooded man was angry at Ionia and Keiri.

"What? Why are you guys giving me those angry faces!? I don't deserve this! Can you not see that I'm the good guy!? Do you not understand how important it is for this 'thing' to die here!?"

"You still haven't told us what that 'thing' the fool has. If it was that bad as you said, sure, I will walk away and let you kill her. But if you're not going to explain---"

Ionia stopped her words when the man raised her hand and a revolver fell from the sky. He grabbed it and aimed at the pink haired girl. Her emerald eyes focused at his gun.

"You're not trying to piss off God now, are you?"

He fired his gun, and at the same time, his Cerberus went charging towards Keiri and Ionia. Before Yukino prepares to shield Ionia, a man with a noticeable red/white samurai outfit deflected the shot, and engaged the red hooded man, while completely ignoring the Cerberus dashing quickly towards the two Summoners.

"Let me handle this, idol girls!"

Instead of Sagawa taking the brunt of the hound's leap for Ionia, it's Yukino's turn.

"Fortification Module, on!"

Yukino's Defense Armor becomes bulkier as before. Despite her heavier armor, Yukino still got knocked down by the Cerberus, and three of its heads are trying to get a bite on her.

"Khh--graah, dammit you're one tough S.O.B for a summoned creature!"

While struggling to get her assault rifle, one of the hound's head bit her right arm. Yukino screamed in pain, as she felt its fangs penetrated almost all of her armor layers.

"Argh! Dang it... you're worse than a Sauvage!"

Then... help arrives.

"Yukino, here!"

Ionia throws the rifle to her Great Spirit, and fortunately Yukino managed to grab it on time with her left arm.

"Just die!"

Yukino squeezed on the trigger and fired her gun. Some of the shots landed on the Cerberus' heads, before she missed due to recoil, and kicked it away from her. The hound stood up afterwards, after receiving bullets to its heads.

"I swear that's tougher than I thought..." Yukino complained, before checking on her wound at her right arm. "Damn, that's quite a hole you made there..."

"Are you okay?!"

"I'm not that okay..." Yukino replied to Ionia, panting. "Its teeth can punch through my fortified armor..."

Emiya - Don't worry about it. :P

Anyway yes, this is the obligatory 'introductory bad end' so don't sweat it too much.

[Sagawa Mizunohara, The World of Dream]

In an instant after the bullet was fired and Cerberus charged, the hooded man saw what seemed like a blur. He still had almost no idea what had happened until after Kenshin's blade had split him in half.

The blade had sunk into the man's head, but it didn't managed to cut all the way down. The sight of Kenshin's sword cut into the man's head was no less grisly. It seemed like the two freshly cut sides could fall out at any moment.

"Augh... Gnhh...!"

The man's face was paralyzed in a look of surprise. His strange expression was locked onto Kenshin's face.

"I... I...! I didn't think you would come right up to me!!"

Kenshin suddenly found the man's hands clinging, digging into his own outstretched sword arms.

"Your speed is real impressive, I guess I would only be polite for me to give you a taste of my own talent!"

The grip on kenshin's head tightened, for a quick moment, it seemed like a pulse emanated through the red haired swordsman's body. After a moment, Kenshin's body went limp. There was the sound of sand falling on concrete, the sound of deconstruction. Kenshin was turning into dust.

"No way... did that guy just kill Monk's Spirit?" Said Sagawa at a loss for words.

[Norman Gained his Default Title! Old Monk!]

After a moment, the entirety of Kenshin's body had turned to dust. A small light rose from the dust pile, unto the dark sky. Most people say that's the sight of a Greats Spirit's soul returning to 'queue.' To be assigned a new master.

"That hooded man just Oblitherated him!" Yelled Alexis.

"Yes! I typically have to trick people to be able to use this move, but that Spirit just came up right towards me! That was really convenient!"

The man again looked unscathed, the direct sword strike to his head wasn't visible. It was as if it had never happened. In the moment that they where busy watching Kenshin's demise the man had already regenerated.

"Unfortunately, that little trick won't work on anything else but spirits. So I'll have to kill the rest of you guys the old fashioned way, spirits excluded."

Sagawa thought hard for a moment. If the man only needed to touch a spirit in order to pull of his seemingly overpowered technique then summoning Youoh, a swordsman, wouldn't be a good idea. Still, the biggest issue would be trying to take out the Cerberus.

Ionia's disapproving gestures where correct, she was probably the least qualified to save everyone. Still, for whatever reason, she still felt like it was her own responsibility for getting everyone in this situation.

....

Alexis felt her master's wishes to be desummoned.

"Hmph, I guess I could use a break... You should've just summoned the sword-girl in the first place..."

At that moment Alexis closed her eyes, just before she dissapeared in a flash of light. Sagawa still needed a moment to focus to summon her other spirit, at this time, with the other girls-

Ionia's spirit took the brunt of Cerberus' attack, and managed to drive it off. The hulking beast sunk back into the dark, though the sound of it's heavy steps could still be heard. The man looked a little impressed, and seemed obligated to finally answer the question Ionia demanded.

"Ugh. Well, I guess I can give you the short version. Just imagine Limbo Universe as some sort of dump truck full of trash - you know the worlds. -But this dump truck can only hold so many of them. So After a while, you have to knock off some of the really useless trash - ie. your patchwork world, by killing that thing - aka 'that thing over there'. After that, everyone else is sunflowers and hopscotch! That easy enough to understand?"

The hooded man shrugged and sighed as if the explanation had exhausted him. Though he couldn't hold in his laughter for very long.

"Gahahaha! Ah, but I've just been a real ass to all of you people this entire time, so - instead of partaking in making your lives miserable, I should just end this thing now..."

At that moment, the presence of many other beings started to come from the dark. They where all converging on this particular location.

"So may I present to you the end of the world!"

Out of the dark, several of the monsters that the others had briefly seen began to encroach on the scene. At this point, running away didn't seem to be an option. At that same moment, a man appeared before Sagawa. It was the same hooded man, but at the same time, it wasn't. It seemed like a second copy of the rather obnoxious person had materialized before her.

"....!"

The newly crafted man grabbed Sagawa's forehead and pushed her into the ground.

"...huh. Couldn't summon fast enough huh? Geez, you're even slower than some of the Rookies I've seen."

"Get away...!"

Sagawa reached out with her free hand, and tried to claw at the man's face. The man responded by taking Sagawa's broken arm, and casually flipping it up. The arm bent in a position that was normally impossible, at a spot that wasn't supposed have a joint.

".....Auuugh!"

Sagawa as again reduced to writhing in pain.

"Damn, you really did break your arm. Shit. Now I just feel terrible. You know I wouldn't feel this bad if you where Ugly. Did they just HAVE to make someone like you be this world's 'foundation?'"

At that moment, to further depress the odds of survival, two other three headed dogs, including the one with the blinded middle head, stepped fourth to keep the others at bay.

"Uuuugh! Get off...!"

"Sure, just one second!"

The man's grip on Sagawa's head tightened. Sagawa didn't know why, but she suddenly felt as if her own existence was being crushed by his grip.

CRACK!

The sound of glass shattering resounded through the entirety of the room.

[Ah....]

[Sorry... everyone...]

Sagawa herself couldn't notice anymore, but the man finally stood up from pinning Sagawa down. Leaving a mindless corpse in Sagawa's place.

"Finally! Show's over! Better luck next time! You got owned! Hahaha!"

Massive cracks in the floor began to form on the floor, spreading out from Sagawa's body. Light burst from between the openings. After a few pieces fell, it revealed an amazing sight. Below them there was a massive body of water. This body of water was dotted with many small green islands, and at the center, a massive green sphere that housed the largest human settlement in the world called 'Earth.'

"And now, I can just wake up like this was all a dream. But for you guys... well maybe you'll all get turned into 'great' sprits or something?"

The man gave a cordial yet insincere gesture to his guests.

"Thank you for your business."

The man (and his copy) in a red hooded robe dissipated along with all the other monsters.

The last thing they could see, was the great body of water suddenly being drained as the cracks began to form in their world below.

[Certainly, this is what is supposed happen.]

[It must happen.]

[But that is their story.]

The End of the World and After

[Sagawa Mizunohara - Earth, The Biodome Settlement]

...

.....

"Will you fools pay attention!?"

A gentleman in a red robe urged his students to behave in his own fashion.

"Yes sir."

Sagawa stood straight up at their instructor's command. She was standing alongside the others that she had been assigned to train with for this month. Thankfully, today they where being briefed out on the street in the town, and not out in the wheat fields.

"Geez, the things I'm being paid to do. Well, now... what where your guys' names again? I just happen to have a really short attention span, sorry."

Sagawa was the first to respond as she put her hand up to her heart.

"Sagawa Mizunohara..."

She then mentioned to the others, taking the liberty of introducing them herself.

"And down the line is a Tanktop Samurai, an Old Monk, and a Washboard."

"A washboard, but she's sta ... arting indecent harassment."

"I was talking about her personality, sir."

"Oh, right. Well okay then, so an ID-tag for a Miss 'Washboard', Mr 'Monk', and a 'Samurai'. Is that okay for you lot?"

The man in the red robe looked at the other three with a smirk. It seemed like he was seriously going to go ahead with the naming if they didn't speak up for themselves.

[Norman Lee, The World of Dream]

When Kenshin got obliterated, Norman continued to pick on his fingernails.

"Goddamnit, that's not fair at all. I told him to cut into itty-bitty pieces, but noooo. He just HAD to be all cool and cut him in two. Just fuckin' hack and slash goddamnit. Don't just stand there while he's fuckin' talking like a damned retard. I should have called Reiji for this. And damn, is that bitch resilient. Took shots to the head with no problem and can bite through her armor..."

Norman observed his surroundings while thinking idle thoughts. He didn't even bother to try summoning his other spirit like Sagawa; he knew it would be futile.

Then, monsters appeared from the darkness.

"Oh great, typical. Fucking fuck."

Sagawa was now being attacked by another hooded figure. He heard a cracking noise as Sagawa's arm was broken.

"Ouch."

After a sequence of events, Sagawa was killed.

"Ah damn, how unfortunate. Am I next? Am I really going to die as a virgin? Goddamnit. I should have taken advantage of those missed opportunities and... Ah, shi-"

He saw his world get destroyed, helpless to do anything to stop it...

[Norman Lee- Earth, The Biodome Settlement]

"Sure, that's fine."

Norman responded indifferently. Though he seemed listless, the truth was anything but.

"You asshole. I was actually paying attention. And damnit, why am I right next to her? Not that I hate it, but I just can't focus when she's right next to me damnit! Just play it cool Norman, like you usually do? When the hell did she come up with those nicknames? Was it last time? Ah, geez... Am I still sleeping?"

With his hands in his pockets, he picked on his fingernails restlessly.

[Keiri - The World of Dream]

As expected, the blade went through the hound... But the result wasn't as expected. To everyone's surprise, the hound's bit the sword that is stuck to it and threw it away along with Blue.

"No!!!"

The man who are supposed to be dead then shoots his revolver towards Ionia but the bullet was deflected and his head got sliced in half by another Great Spirit, which is Norman's. As for the hound, it charged towards Ionia and was blocked by her great spirit, the fight was quite fierce that her great spirit got badly wounded.

Something quite surprising happened, the man who had his head sliced in half obliterates Norman's great spirit. Everything seemed so sudden to Keiri that she didn't notice that they were surrounded with the creatures of the darkness. Blue then turns ethereal and runs to Keiri's location, he tries to fight the creatures all he could but theres no seem to be an end to them.

And after a while, Sagawa was killed by a clone of the very man which's head was sliced in half. Keiri dropped on her knees.

"I... Failed."

She then sees her world getting destroyed in no time. While she can't do anything to stop it

. . .

. . .

[Keiri - Earth, Biodome Settlement]

"Will you fools pay attention!?"

A man in red hooded robe yelled at his students to pay attention.

"Y-- Yes!"

Keiri was standing straight as her instructor commands, it was the day where now she along with the others she had been assigned to train with to be briefed out on the streets in the town, not out in the wheat fields anymore.

"Geez, the things I'm being paid to do. Well, now... what where your guys' names again? I just happen to have a really short attention span, sorry."

Sagawa responded first.

"Sagawa Mizunohara..."

She took liberty to introduce the others... Which is her self-made titles for the others.

"And down the line is a Tanktop Samurai, an Old Monk, and a Washboard."

". . . WHAT!?"

"A washboard, but she's sta ... arting indecent harassment."

"I was talking about her personality, sir."

"Oh, right. Well okay then, so an ID-tag for a Miss 'Washboard', Mr 'Monk', and a 'Samurai'. Is that okay for you lot?"

The man looked at them with a smirk as if he will seriously write that nickname down in their IDs if they don't speak up soon. Norman speaks indifferently about it.

"Sure, that's fine."

Keiri took a deep breath before she speaks.

"Oh seriously now you don't go on giving anyone nicknames that they might not like... Especially Ionia's."

Keiri paused for a while before she continues.

"As for me, as cool as Samurai sounds... I rather be called by my own name, Keiri."

Keiri crossed her arms.

"Oh and the Washboard's name is Ionia."

"Well... At least my nickname is a little bit better than Norman and Ionia's, hell... Tanktop Samurai doesn't sound that bad either compared to Old Monk or Washboard."

[Sagawa Mizunohara - Earth, Biodome Settlement]

"Sure, that's fine." Said Norman without much commitment.

This indifferent fellow of the group didn't seem to care too much about titles. The brown haired girl of the group spoke after taking in a bit of air.

"Oh seriously now you don't go on giving anyone nicknames that they might not like... Especially Ionia's."

Sagawa faced her as she replied back.

"I don't give nicknames without reason. I give the sort of nicknames that are appropriate... Especially Ionia's."

Keiri then redirected her voice to the instructor.

"As for me, as cool as Samurai sounds... I rather be called by my own name, Keiri."

She then crossed her arms, and answered for the red head.

"Oh and the Washboard's name is Ionia."

After that Keiri seemed to mumble to herself about how her nickname was the least humiliating of the three. It sounded like a 'thinking aloud' moment to Sagawa.

The instructor couldn't help but chuckle. Keiri's delivery made it sound like she also thought the red-head was a washboard.

"Guhaha..! I see. Well It's so nice that you're all so considerate to your laundry implements."

Sagawa added fuel to the comment.

"Yes, Keiri also is in agreement to Ionia's true purposes. All hail Ionia, Summoner of the Imperial Washboard race..."

For a moment the instructor thought he was seeing sparks fly. Partially out of his duties to see how the group would handle themselves - and partially to see if something entertaining would happen, he purposely kept quiet to see how they where going to act next.

@Ugo: Uh... okay ^^;

[Ionia]
[The World of Dream]

Kenshin's katana struck the man's head, but it did not kill him. Although he felt some pain, but...

"Your speed is real impressive, I guess I would only be polite for me to give you a taste of my own talent!"

His right hand clenched on the Great Spirit's head with speed. A pulse seems to have emanated from him, before Kenshin fell to the ground, unconscious, and reduced to dust afterwards. And thus he was obliterated.

Yukino was unnerved by the man's ability, and yet, Ionia maintained her calm facade. After seeing this incident, she was mentally prepared for a one way trip.

* * *

Somehow, the man decided to answer Ionia's previous question.

Her gaze to him turned even more murderous.

"I get it... You want to destroy our 'useless' world and Sagawa's the foundation..."

The man shrugged and sighed in response, before laughing at everyone.

"Gahahaha! Ah, but I've just been a real ass to all of you people this entire time, so - instead of partaking in making your lives miserable, I should just end this thing now..."

At this moment, a horde of monstrous creatures converging at their current location.

"So may I present to you the end of the world!"

"Heads up...!" Yukino warned everyone, while materializing her second firearm.

While Ionia and the others are busy with the mobs, a scream echoed in the air, and Ionia immediately knew it was Sagawa. A carbon copy of the red hooded man grabbed the Summoner and forced her on the ground, keeping her immobile. Before Ionia can rescue Saga, the situation quickly escalated as the Cerberus returned and brought some of its friends to the fray.

Then, a loud crack echoed throughout the air. Ionia noticed the glint on Sagawa's blue eyes disappeared when the man got up.

"Finally! Show's over! Better luck next time! You got owned! Hahaha!"

"You goddamn bast***!"

Ionia wanted to chase after him, but immediately stopped when the environment around her started to crumble and fell apart. From the cracks, she can see her world, the patchwork of Earth. Shortly after the man and his creatures left, Ionia gasped at the destruction...

[Earth - Biodome Settlement]

"Will you fools pay attention!?" Says a clean-looking middle-aged man in a red robe to his students.

At that time, Ionia took a quick gasp, before immediately shifting her focus to the instructor.

("I think I just spaced out...")

The instructor spoke again when order was restored to the group of students.

"Geez, the things I'm being paid to do. Well, now... what where your guys' names again? I just happen to have a really short attention span, sorry."

Ionia facepalmed in response of the instructor's request. As usual, Sagawa was the first one to introduce... and also the first one to create trouble.

"And down the line is a Tanktop Samurai, an Old Monk, and a Washboard."

("A washboard... a washboard... a washboard...")

The word mentioned by Sagawa echoed in Ionia's mind for countless times. She tilted her head down, just enough to let her fringes cover her face. While gritting her teeth and clenching her fists, Ionia tried her best to calm down and perhaps introduce herself.

Norman however, was apathetic towards the nicknames given by Sagawa. As for Keiri, she stood in defense for herself and Ionia. She properly introduced herself, before saying's Ionia's name. However, the instructor laughed.

"Guhaha..! I see. Well It's so nice that you're all so considerate to your laundry implements."

And once again, Sagawa added even more fuel to the conversation.

"Yes, Keiri also is in agreement to Ionia's true purposes. All hail Ionia, Summoner of the Imperial Washboard race..."

Shortly after that sentence, Ionia was slowly approaching her and stood behind her. Once the instructor shifted his gaze away from her, Ionia immediately wrapped Sagawa's neck with her arm, before rubbing her head with her knuckles as hard as she could. At that time, she does not care about public decency: she just want her revenge.

"Who in the blue hell do you think you are, calling me a washboard?! Have you even considered her feelings before you glorify someone as a washboard eh Ms.Delinquent?!"

Some of the students wanted to defuse the situation, but they are all too afraid of the furious looking girl holding Sagawa...

[Sagawa Mizunohara - Earth, Biodome Settlement]

Sagawa suddenly felt something grasp her around her neck. Soon after, she felt someone's knuckles grinding against her head.

"Who in the blue hell do you think you are, calling me a washboard?! Have you even considered her feelings before you glorify someone as a washboard eh Ms.Delinquent?!"

[Sagawa gained her default title! Bigmouth Delinquent!]

"Owowowow!! ...is this...!? ...the legendary bullying technique... the Noogie!?"

Sagawa was hoping she'd be let go in a couple of moments... however, the grinding continued on...

"H-hey! Ionia! Stop...! I said STOP!" She said in an increasingly frustrated voice.

The instructor did his best to hide a frown. He thought to himself:

(Well, normally you'd see even a little bit of a reaction from your mates... but those two are just standing around like it's not even their own business.... will it really isn't, but that isn't something the top brass would want to see...)

Sagawa continued in vain to break Ionia's arm from her neck.

(That's it! I'm just going to MAKE her let me go!)

The instructor watched as Sagawa raised up her foot and moved her balance against Ionia. It looked like she was intending to stomp on Ionia's foot to break free. He let out a sigh as he approached the two.

"Now Ionia, you've gotten your revenge, so let Mizunohara go."

Whatever sort of expression or manner he said it was enough to make Ionia comply. It was just in time, a moment later and Sagawa would've put down her foot with all the force she could.

"Gah...!" Exclaimed Sagawa as she rubbed down the part of her head that was hurting.

Interestingly enough, the man didn't scold Sagawa or Ionia. Rather, he directed his attention to Norman and Keiri.

"Look you two, as scary as things might end up turning out out there, that doesn't mean you need to go around waiting for your turn to do do something. This isn't you know... some turned based RPG those kids can't seem to get enough of... in real life, if you don't take the initiative in things then you'll end up facing the consequences of what happens..."

As the man continued to lecture, Sagawa finally returned to her normal, apathetic looking expression. She turned her head, and looked at Ionia and silently mouthed out two syllables.

["Wash-board"]

"...I mean, Imagine if some giant monster is going after one of your teammates? Are you going to wait for them to get hit, or are you going to interject and knock the thing away!? I don't know about you but I would gladly do such a thing...!"

Once Ionia noticed, Sagawa suddenly increased the rate of her silent name calling to a machine-gun like speed.

["Wash-board..Wash-board..Wash-board..Wash-board..Wash-board..Wash-board..Wash-board..Wash-board..Wash-board"]

"...look you guys. In the end, you guys probably aren't going to be together when you finally graduate and head out into the world... or worlds. But, if you lot learn anything from me, at least learn that if you can do something about it, DO SOMETHING! Elsewise, you may end up dealing with conclusions that you would've wished to have prevent later. I won't be there to make sure your life stories go nice and smoothly, so be a bit more proactive in manipulating your fate!"

The man looked over his students. They didn't seem too impressed, but a part of him felt that his rousing speech drove home the message. Certainly, at this point they should actually speak.

"So.. do you have anything you guys want to say? Spit it out now, anything that's on your mind!"

Sagawa raised her hand.

"Sir may I be first to interject...-"

"Quiet Mizunohara. Silently calling Ionia a 'Washboard' some 600 times should be enough for you today."

Their instructor continued to eye the training squad down, fully expecting at least one of them to have something after he went out of his way to break out his valorous voice.

[Keiri - Earth, Biodome Settlement]

"Yes, Keiri also is in agreement to Ionia's true purposes. All hail Ionia, Summoner of the Imperial Washboard race..."

Keiri facepalmed as she heard Sagawa said it.

"I never agreed with that."

And then Ionia grabs Sagawa's neck from behind and grinds her knuckle on Sagawa's head.

"Who in the blue hell do you think you are, calling me a washboard?! Have you even considered her feelings before you glorify someone as a washboard eh Ms.Delinquent?!"

"Owowowow!! ...is this...!? ...the legendary bullying technique... the Noogie!?"

Keiri sighed as she watches the scene.

("I didn't warn you but I knew this would happen...")

Keiri stayed put as Sagawa deserves it, but when she decides it was enough the instructor already separates both of them.

("Oh... crap.")

Keiri then saw Sagawa saying Washboard to Ionia silently. The instructor continues lecturing both Keiri and Norman for staying silent when Ionia executes her revenge.

"...I mean, Imagine if some giant monster is going after one of your teammates? Are you going to wait for them to get hit, or are you going to interject and knock the thing away!? I don't know about you but I would gladly do such a thing...!"

Ionia then noticed Sagawa silently calling her Washboard, Sagawa increases the speed to a machine gun rate. The instructor continues, Keiri already knew where this is going, but doesn't look quite impressed.

"So.. do you have anything you guys want to say? Spit it out now, anything that's on your mind!"

Sagawa raised her hands first.

"Sir may I be first to interject...-"

"Quiet Mizunohara. Silently calling Ionia a 'Washboard' some 600 times should be enough for you today."

Keiri raised her right hand from her crossed arms, when the instructor notices it she returned to cross her arms.

"Alright, I get the message. But first of all, let me explain why I let that slide... Sagawa did deserve that, if I were in Ionia's place I would do even worse than that."

Keiri let out a sigh before she continues.

"Of course, I don't mean that I will always stay silent when something happened to Sagawa due to her act and because she 'deserves' it."

Keiri then moved to shield Sagawa from Ionia in case she would do something like before again and then looked at Ionia.

"Look, Ionia, as much as Sagawa deserves it, don't do it... Look, she is actually felt bad about making you do that in the first place... Sagawa, say you're sorry for doing that."

Keiri moved and pinched Sagawa's back, she glanced at Sagawa for a while signaling she should say it and not further making Ionia pissed.

[Ionia]
[Earth - Biodome Settlement]

"H-hey! Ionia! Stop...! I said STOP!" She said in an increasingly frustrated voice.

"I'm just getting warmed up, honey..." Ionia said with a sinister tone.

She noticed that Sagawa started to use another technique to free herself from her iron grip. Then the instructor intervened afterwards.

"Now Ionia, you've gotten your revenge, so let Mizunohara go."

The pink haired girl closed her eyes, before releasing Sagawa. Ionia gave a final glare towards her before moving back to her place. Interestingly, the instructor did not scold the troublemakers, but instead directed his attention to Keiri and Norman. As the middle aged man continued to lecture the students, Sagawa still have not given up on her endeavor to annoy the heck out of Ionia.

"Wash-board~"

Ionia openly expressed her annoyance to Sagawa when she bared a part of her teeth and lifted her clenched fists.

"...I mean, Imagine if some giant monster is going after one of your teammates? Are you going to wait for them to get hit, or are you going to interject and knock the thing away!? I don't know about you but I would gladly do such a thing...!"

The situation immediately escalated when Saga repeated the dreaded word nonstop at a crazy speed.

("Arghhhhh, I wanted to punch that brat in the face! But wait, I can't afford to create another incident! Especially when the instructor is in the middle of a lecture...")

* * *

"So.. do you have anything you guys want to say? Spit it out now, anything that's on your mind!"

Ionia was glad that the torture was over when Sagawa dropped her act and raised her hand.

"Sir may I be first to interject...-"

"Quiet Mizunohara. Silently calling Ionia a 'Washboard' some 600 times should be enough for you today."

Ionia cannot help but let out a short maniacal laugh.

"Oh! Apologies, I can't help myself but laugh at her sir."

Then, it is Keiri's turn to speak.

"Alright, I get the message. But first of all, let me explain why I let that slide... Sagawa did deserve that, if I were in Ionia's place I would do even worse than that."

A satisfying smile appeared in Ionia's expression. But after that sentence, Keiri sighed afterwards.

"Of course, I don't mean that I will always stay silent when something happened to Sagawa due to her act and because she 'deserves' it."

And she did what Ionia did not expect: she actually shields that delinquent! Ionia was in disbelief upon Keiri's act.

"Look, Ionia, as much as Sagawa deserves it, don't do it... Look, she is actually felt bad about making you do that in the first place... Sagawa, say you're sorry for doing that."

("C'mon Keiri. You know that sorry brat actually mean it at the first place. You're smart enough to know that.")

Ionia laughed for a bit. "I can see where this is heading, but I don't think that brat will not going to give up that easily."

She sifted away some of her fringes poking her eyes. "If Mizunohara intends to apologize, she would have did that earlier when I gave her the 'treatment'."

Name: Sven Sigurd

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Character Type: Summoner

Appearance: photo Sterkenburgedit.jpg

Bio: Upon arriving at the Patchwork World of Earth, Sven immediately took an interest in trying to figure out everything about it. He spent a good deal of his time simply wandering and exploring to try and test what could and could not be done as if to establish some set of rules.
Sven did not dwell much on the fate of his world. As far as he was concerned, there was nothing he could do to change any of it at the moment, so his time would be better spent investigating his current location and working from there.
He discovered his ability to Summon while he was out one day and was speaking to another resident of the Patchwork. The topic came up during discussion, at which point Sven was asked why he was never tested for it. The testing showed that he had the cability, so he was pointed in the direction of the main town in order to meet others like him, a fact that intrigued him greatly.

Personality: He is a curious person that likes to investigate things that catch his interest, sometimes regardless of the danger it might pose. He tends to analyze people in his head to try and figure them out, although he will rarely voice his thoughts. Overall he tends to be an unassuming person, preferring to follow and judge rather than lead and decide.

Summoning Bonus: Vanguard - Reduces damage from the first few attacks when a Great Spirit is summoned to fight. Only works on the first summoning of a Great Spirit in a fight (switching back to a GS after its first summoning in a fight will not re-trigger the bonus).

Great Spirit Character Sheet:

Name: Karin Zelde

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Character Type: Great Spirit

Weapons: Geist (Explained in 'Abilities')

Appearance: Photobucket

Master: Sven

Reputation: Karin made her living largely by means of theft. There did not appear to be a desperate need for scouts or mercenaries, so she put her ability to cloak herself to use in order to acquire goods.

Being tied to Sven as one of his spirits was somewhat of a relief to her. Having someone other than her partner Geist to talk to was a welcome benefit, although she freely admitted to Geist that Sven's appearance was a bonus.

In her original world she was a well off scout and relic hunter. She was paid by mostly rich or well-off people in order to recover objects for them from the lands outside of the well-defended cities. Due to her ability to cloak herself and remain hidden, the danger was relatively light for her, letting her earn a lot of money for taking on the more dangerous offers.

Personality: Despite being a relatively lighthearted person, she does not have much of a sense of humor and some jokes are lost on her.

Abilities: Geist is Karin's Machina partner. His physical form is limited to either a firearm or a silver ring. As an Armed Machina, he is able to take the form of different firearms.

Strong - DSR-1 Form (Heavy Sniper Rifle): A heavy rifle designed for long-range use. Has increased piercing power for punching through hard substances. Geist handles basic functions of the weapon, such as the bolt, leaving Karin free to focus on aiming and firing.

Weak - P14-45 Form (Pistol): Bullets can be curved around corners (Think Wanted, except without the silly arm swinging). Curving can only be done on 1 bullet at a time.

Non-Attack - Infinity Bullet: Geist does not use man-made ammunition, instead it generates its own. The magazine must still be removed however, at which point it is refilled, which makes reload time slightly longer compared to standard weapons. This is mainly to prevent fatigue from building up due to continuous firing.

Defensive - Cloaking: Makes Karin invisible when not moving. The effect dissipates during any movement faster than crawling. Requires 10 seconds to completely fade from sight.
Link to Original: Immortal Machina

Name: Vincent

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Character Type: Great Spirit

Weapons: H&K G36

Appearance: Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Master: Sven

Reputation: Vincent fell back into his job almost as soon as he arrived in the Patchwork. He went about investigating his new home in the hope that he would find a way to return to his original home.

He wound up being partnered with Sven as one of his Spirits. Vincent was initially skeptical of the arrangement, but he quickly noticed that both Sven and his other Spirit, Karin, were well suited to investigation and scouting which relieved him.

In his original world, Vincent was a Private Investigator whose first case involved mysterious killings. The case resulted in him acquiring a strange power and dealing with monsters referred to simply as 'Murderers'. Vincent investigated the murders relating to these monsters while trying to find where they were coming from and why they seemed to target particular people.

Personality: Vincent is a cautious and calculating individual. Serious at times but otherwise tends to make jokes with a darker sense of humor.

Abilities:
Only 1 'Murderer' can be active at a time. Calling on a different type requires the enemy or Vincent to kill the one that is currently active.

Strong - Kamikaze Murderer: Raises a Kamikaze Murderer. It has a high endurance and can take numerous hits before dying. Attacking it will cause it to suddenly rush towards the nearest target and explode when in range or killed. When left alone, it wanders slowly around the area without a particular goal.

Weak - Speed Murderer: Raises a Speed Murderer which will go after the nearest target. Speed Murderer's are swift and light enough to leap quite high, but lack endurance and are therefore unable to sustain many hits. Appears as a reddish human shaped being, only with extremely sharp teeth and a wide mouth.

Defense - Giant Murderer: Raises a Giant Murderer which acts as a barrier. It's four eyes allow it to canvas a wide area for threats, helping it to compensate for it's lack of speed. It is too slow to strike single, human sized targets, so it instead acts mainly as a meat shield.

Non-Attack - Psychic/Seer: Can sense spiritual beings nearby presence. Has a range of about 1 km.

Non-Attack - Gunslinger: Provides unlimited ammunition for Vincent's weapon. Expending a large amount of ammunition tires Vincent out however, meaning that it less taxing on him when he picks his shots carefully.

Gender: Female

Character Type: Unification Summoner (Boss)

Appearance: photo Torishiruedit_zps13eaa22c.jpg

Bio: Cecilia arrived in the Patchwork World just outside of the main Biodome Settlement. It did not take her long to learn of and find the headquarters of the two main ideologies. After hearing both sides explain their goals and the situation at large, Cecilia was convinced by Suzuna to side with Unification. Suzuna pointed out that since Cecilia had no memories from her own world, it would be better for her to stay in this new world. She had a place to belong, a nice apartment and a powerful weapon in Suzuna. She would lose all of that if the worlds were to be restored however, and there was no telling what awaited her in her original world. There was also the possibility that she simply did not have an original world at all. If that turned out to be the case then Cecilia would merely disappear during Restoration. Knowing all of this, Cecilia sided with Unification and is fiercely devoted to it.

Personality: She has an intimidating demeanor and tries her best to keep up that appearance. In reality, this is simply an act that is maintained by Suzuna's influence over Cecilia.

Summoning Bonus: Body Double - Summons a mirror image of Suzuna when she is summoned to fight. The body double acts as Suzuna would, but is incapable of causing any physical damage. When someone is able to land a hit on the body double, it disappears. A useful distraction technique.

Name: Suzuna

Age: ??

Gender: Female

Character Type: Great Spirit - Boss

Weapons: Hand Claws

Appearance: Photobucket

Master: Cecilia

Reputation: In Suzuna's original world, she was forced to ally with a human in order to accomplish anything in the twisted remains of the world that had resulted from The End. When she arrived in the Patchwork however, she saw her opportunity to flip that situation around. Even though she was technically under the control of a human as a Great Spirit, she found Cecilia's uncertainty surrounding her existence to be prime material for manipulating her. She convinced Cecilia that life in this new world was good and that if the Patchwork were to disappear, then Cecilia could find herself back in her original life, but that the life she once had could very well turn out to be painful and terrifying. She punctuated this by adding that since Cecilia did not have any memories of her own world, there was a very real possibility that she never existed before now. If the Patchwork were to vanish, then she might end up doing the same. This led to Cecilia clinging to the Unification ideology, which is the ideology that Suzuna actually wants to follow. She found herself liking this new world much more than her original one and she had every intention of staying here. In this world she had power over a human instead of the other way around. She was also unable to be killed in the traditional sense, but what truly excited her about that prospect was the fact that others had the same luxury. She could drain a person of every last bit of blood that they had and they would simply reappear the next day, perfectly fine but without any of the knowledge that would cause them to be wary of her.

Personality: Very manipulative. Likes to make attempts at seducing her opponents, regardless of whether they are male or female.

Abilities:
Strong - Death Waltz: Suzuna approaches her opponent before suddenly fading out of existence. She then proceeds to reappear in random locations, gliding swiftly and silently across the floor, slicing at her targets as she passes by.

Strong - Soul Harvest: When Suzuna is able to get in close proximity to her opponent, she grabs hold of them and begins to drain their energy. She draws the energy into her mouth and uses it to sligtly recover from injuries.

Weak - Imprison: Ribbons of light shoot out from the sleeves of Suzuna's kimono and bind the target if they manage to encircle them. This attack is mostly used so that Suzuna can lead it into Soul Harvest.

Non-Attack - Phantom: Suzuna is able to fly through the air much in the same way a ghost would. Momentum and gravity have no impact on her movements (she can easily stop and change direction).

Defensive - Opera: Singing in soprano, Suzuna's voice creates a barrier to stop incoming attacks. The barrier only works in the direction that Suzuna projects her voice however.
