Plot

The region of Aigle has finally emerged from the flames of war and has instead fallen in to a state of tense peace. As the years pass by, the countries became more reclusive and focused mainly on internal problems as opposed to each other.

The relative peace brought with it the freedom for people to travel the lands and learn more about the world while also paving the way for bandits and criminals to gain free reign over uninhabited or disputed areas. Those who were willing to deal with these threats and desired to explore Aigle banded together to create the single region-spanning organization known as ‘The Aigle’s Gale Guild’. Members of this group are known as Tempests and although they mainly wish to explore Aigle, their main goal is to discover the secrets of the Kingdom of Avira and set foot in the mysterious country.

The Fall of Avira

The adventurers and scholars wishing to explore Avira would eventually get their wish, but at a cost that none of them expected.

News quickly began to spread one day that King Oswald, ruler of the Kingdom of Imelda, had been assassinated by his own people. Given King Oswald's personality and methods of ruling, this was not surprising. The shock came from rumors that the person who instigated the revolt and subsequently rose to power was a mere child. Avirian ships were also spotted patrolling Imelda's borders around the same time and the entire Kingdom appeared to be locking out all travelers.

Shortly after, the people of Aigle had their first true encounter with the Principality of Avira. One fateful day, the people of several small villages along the Daedalos/Imelda border were greeted with the sound of screams from the skies. Citizens watched as bodies fell from above before witnessing a giant island emerge from the clouds. Avira had fallen to the land below and was now trapped in the very place it had been separated from throughout all of history.

Action was swift from all of the major powers. The Kingdom of Imelda, the Daedalos Empire, and Lucine all sent soldiers in an attempt to capture the mythical country for themselves. In the end however, the Daedalos Empire prevailed by being the first to arrive. Lucine's soldiers immediately retreated upon discovering Daedalos' occupation, while Imelda's still poorly equipped army mounted an assault that ended in complete failure.

After securing the island, Daedalos did what it could to help the remaining people of Avira. Roughly two thirds of the Avirian population had perished in the fall, and the uneven landing of the island resulted in heavy damage to the homes of its people. The Avirian's were devastated with what had happened and were also afraid of how they would be treated by the people of Aigle. The Daedalos Empire had treated them well so far, and their soldiers acted as protectors of law and order, so many of the survivors felt safer staying where they were for the time being. Others resigned themselves to the fact that they would eventually have to integrate into Aigle's society and left their former home to seek a new life elsewhere.

As the entire population tried to make sense out of the events that had occured, one thing was becoming increasingly obvious. Imelda's strength was rising dramatically, aided by Avirian technology as well as cunning new military and economic leaders. Both Lucine and Daedalos immediately became focused on obtaining Avirian technology for themselves before Imelda took what many considered was the next logical step, invasion.

Character Sheet

Rules:
-All 'RP Master's Guide to RP'ing' rules apply.

-I will not limit the number of characters that one person can have at the moment, so long as everyone keeps up with every character they have made.

-Love is welcomed, but do not post anything explicit.

-As stated above, Avirian characters are now allowed, but they will not be able to use any superhuman abilities. They are also physically weaker than the people of Aigle, so keep that in mind. The main benefit to an Avirian character however is that they are better marksman than Aigle characters (Who have no experience with guns at all).

-Anil-based weapons are available to use in this RP and possess the ability to cut through armor and even most weapons, but the major downside is that Abilities cannot be used on them. This does not interfere with bodily abilities, but Anil-based weapons will be completely unaffected by other kinds of abilities. They cannot disappear, melt, change form, shoot blade beams, or anything of that nature (Even if the user of said weapon does). So if your character can melt into water, expect the Anil weapon to fall harmlessly to the ground. These restrictions have to be in place due to the nature of Anil weapons and are of more use to Avirian characters than Aigle characters.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Miranda 'Mira' Walker

Age: 23

Gender: Female

Nationality: Daedalos

Status:
Tempest (Aigle's Gale Guild Member)

Weapon: Scythe (Similar to this, although not curved downward as much)

Attacks:
Shockwave II - By concentrating her energy, Miranda is able to launch shockwaves from her weapon by swinging it (Attack flies forward at the same angle that the weapon was swung). The shockwaves can be widened to act as a shield, but this causes them to lose their damage potential.

Reaper II - Miranda's scythe disappears from her hands. Her scythe briefly appears near the opponent and mimics the attacks that she visualizes in her head.

Neko Step II - Miranda is able to jump high into the air and land safely from high falls, so long as she is able to land on her feet.

Appearance: Photobucket
She normally wears a dark red sleeveless shirt and long cape of the same color.

Personality: Miranda is adventurous and lighthearted, despite her cold and serious appearance. She is also a little bit of a thrill seeker which results in her getting tied up in dangerous situations quite often. She loves to relax in grassy fields whenever possible, and loves the ocean, but is afraid of tight spaces because it prevents her from using her scythe and leaves her defenceless.

Name: Ezio
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Nationality: Avira
Weapon: Varies
Abilities/Attacks: Copy-Cat (Copies the abilities of people he is around for a certain length of time. How he does this as well as the length of time needed to copy the abilities is still unknown, but for some reason he has been unable to copy Miranda's and Excellen's abilities.
Appearance: Photobucket

Bio:
Basic - Ezio is a young boy from Avira. He was found fleeing from a group of men in the marketplace of an Imeldan city. He was wearing tattered Avirian clothing and carried a small pouch, a poster with the Aigle's Gale Guild emblem on it, and a small glass pendant filled with an odd powder.

Ezio has since revealed himself to be one of the main conspirators in the execution of King Oswell by his people. He is also shown to be much more intelligent than he originally let on. He now acts as the de facto leader of Imelda, even having more control over the country than his fellow children.

So far, he is the only Child of Avira to possess any superhuman abilities. He has somehow managed to copy the abilities of the warriors that assisted him in his escape from a prison and eventual return to Avira. Due to this, he is exceptionally dangerous despite his age and Avirian heritage.

I'm still in,bud.Just haven't got time and idea to post my ending XP

Name:Hiryu Valentine

Age:40(though looks like a 30-years old man,perhaps even younger)

Gender:Male

Nationality:Lucine

Status:Traveling swordsman/Raiden warrior

Weapon:Masamune katana

Abilities/Attacks:
Extreme Maneuver - Hiryu moves around with very high speed, sometimes closing in onto his enemy and take them by surprise.Requires a certain amount of distances, since he could get too close for comfort sometimes(i.e getting too close to trigger a trap). When in Raiden Warrior mode, his speed were blinding fast, anyone being targeted feels like he could zoom at them anytime soon(like teleporting, though he leaves a trail of lightning whenever he does that).

He's known to stumble against many obstacles(which slows him down,or tripped in the worst case).Combined with (minor) energy drain when in Raiden Senshi mode(and old age),he needs to take a breather after some time maneuvering around(again, slows down when it happens).

Raiden Senshi(Lightning Warrior) - Engulfs himself with the power of Raiden, increasing his attack power. It also allows him to use his Raiden abilities(including the devastating Raiden Blast). Can be activated and deactivated at anytime he wished to(or when he used up his energy as the result).

Raiden Blast(a.k.a Railgun Blast) - Fires devastatingly powerful lightning shots that breaks through most regular armors.MUST be in Raiden Warrior mode in order to use it(plus a brief time of charging for each shot). The damage and armor penetration rating depends on what projectiles he fires with(A round stone, for example, deals quite a damage, but not enough to penetrate deep through armor.Sharp and long objects(like a spear),on the other hand, penetrates armor real hard, but doesn't deal enough damage to destroy them);they can be increased overtime if the target is metallic and/or soaked with water beforehand.Because of its devastating nature, many nations(even Hiryu's military unit) fears its power, and was regarded by the former king and queen of Lucine as a national treasure. This is also the reason that Lucine is hard to be aggressively approached by opposing enemies. As it drains his energy for each use,Hiryu must use sparingly with it,otherwise he'll lose his fighting strength to counterattack.

Appearance:

Personality:A very optimistic and calm man to the end, even in the middle of a battle, although prone to injuries and only knows that after the battle(his adopted daughter,Alisa, often comments that he's very careless).A natural learner and teacher,he often gives advice to anyone he knows, especially Snake, and gains knowledge through self learning.

Aside from being more determined than before, nothing much has changed since.

Bio:Formerly one of the strongest and intelligent commander known to most Lucine military units, but left the military after a long time to travel to many places.

Among the citizens of many countries, one of the many urban legends said that there's an extremely powerful man in whom they called,"Lightning(Raiden) Reaper".However, those who sees and fought him had never lived to tell the tale, but a few who survived had suffered severe trauma from the battle, rendering them speechless.Hiryu happens to be the one,but nothing has been made against him,as there's no concrete evidences that he was the one with such power(probably 'cause he defeats them so quickly,he didn't had the time to trigger the Raiden Manic mode.Should he did, however, then he'll perfectly fits the legend's description).

Now he's nothing more than a traveling swordsman, enjoying his journey whenever he goes.Currently travels with his daughter and son, named Alisa and Snake respectively.

[After the Fall of Avira]
He wanders off once again(though alone, since Snake and Alisa went off somewhere else),spending time retraining himself to prepare for the next battle(while indirectly spreading the rumor). He also begin to use the abilities he haven't used since his military days, mainly the Lucine's national treasure-level ability, the Raiden Blast.

Now he's on his way back to Lucine with his children.....

[About the urban legend]

Name:Snake Valentine

Age:17

Gender:Male

Nationality:Lucine

Status:Traveling samurai warrior

Weapon:A pair of Masamune katanas(some of his copied skills requires such in order to use them)

Abilities/Attacks:
Extreme Toughness II - While Snake isn't as fast as Hiryu,Snake makes up for his sheer strength, both physically and mentally, being able to sustain more damages from enemy attacks of his size than most average men.Of course, being a human,he could still get KO'ed/killed from a fatal attack. This ability is what earns him the nickname,Human Battleship(though there isn't an official battleship in this RP ;P).

He's more durable than before after going though an intense training.

Skill Duplication II - While Snake doesn't have a signature attack of his own like his father and a few people he met,he has a rather keen ability that allows him to copy and remake their attacks into his own, then use it against their users. He discovered this ability during his usual training with his father,Hiryu, when he found that Snake has such keen observation skills that led to this astounding ability(not to mention,Snake's supposedly inherited Raiden ability remains dormant as of moment). Some skills he copied must be relearned before actually master them(especially if it's a really high-level skill),and as such,a good amount of focus is required(he also must be able to see their attacks before making his moves). The other key weakness is that Snake can ONLY copy a specific skill from his "teacher"(in other words, skills that Snake can REALLY execute;anything else, like one involving magic and stuffs,he can't do so due to lack of requirements needed to duplicate the skills). So far,Hiryu's Overhead Slash(renamed from the original) was the only one Snake had actually mastered(he can use the skill with both katanas at hand as well, which deals more damage than he did with one,but lowers his jumping height due to their weight).

After going through an intense training,he's now able to duplicate elements as well(though limited to nearby allies),allowing him to use skills that he couldn't otherwise.Though however,he tends to forget the skills he learn of from time to time(implying that he could use the newly learned skills at the same time he learns them from his opponents).

??? - Remains dormant at the moment, but will be learned as his journey goes on.

Appearance:

Personality:Extremely optimistic to the end, even at the point of giving up.Very adventurous,to the point of ignoring the danger that lies ahead(like one of Hiryu's quotes said;"See no dangers, only challenges").Eager to make new friends(and enemies!).Has a love-hate relationship with anything/anyone he meets during the journey.A natural ladies man(though in fact,he's just being nice to the girls he met during the journey),especially towards small girls(he's a lolicon! XD).

Though remains the same,he's less reckless than before, and made a resolution to become even stronger than everyone else.Once he decides to do something,he won't stop until he's done.

Bio:Hiryu's son,Snake travels with his father shortly after his leave from the military.

An aspiring samurai warrior,he has been traveling alone to see the world during Hiryu's military times(though it's limited to his own home area, however),seeing and learning many things from people to people, town to town(occasionally a few fellow soldiers there, which he didn't know they were Hiryu's comrades!).Now given a chance to see the world with a whole new level,he along with his father and little sister,he sets forth in a journey of self-discovery....

During his journey,he met a respectable Avirian friend named Helmut, who was the captain of certain airship(though Snake didn't knew just yet,Helmut commands a very large airship made for war use!).

[After the Fall of Avira]
Went off along with Alisa to go though an intense training with his old friends back at the city close to their hometown.

Now on their way back to Lucine, and he's bringing friends.....

Name:Alisa Valentine

Age:15

Gender:Female

Nationality:Supposedly Avira(since she has weak constitution since birth)

Weapon:Medical equipments(Lol! XD)

Abilities/Attacks:None,though being on the journey with Snake and Hiryu, she picks up rather well in medical field.Cooks pretty well too, though in certain occasion, she finds it hard to find proper ingredients.

Appearance:

Personality:Calm and gentle, though somehow annoyed by both Snake and Hiryu's attitude(despite being respectable).Often does her very best, even though she's physically weak.

Bio:Hiryu's adopted daughter and Snake's little sister. She was adopted by Hiryu years ago during his journey and brought her back to his home, where she was introduced to her brother Snake.

[After the Fall of Avira]

Name:Helmut

Age:30

Gender:Male

Nationality:Avira(although seemed to be a little stronger than most Avirians)

Status:Ship captain(?)

Weapon:None

Abilities/Attacks:None

Appearance:

Personality:Well-disciplined man who knows to take orders from his higher up,iron-willedly completing his duties as a soldier should be(one of the reason Snake respect him a lot;he even made a quote from this.).

Bio:Snake's friend whom he met during the journey,he's someone Snake respected the most of all the people he met(which will be foretold soon).

His fate remains undetermined when the Avira falls, though he mostly survives during the event.

Name:Musashi

Age:30(looks like a man in his 20s,though)

Gender:Male

Status:Wandering master samurai

Nationality:Lucine

Weapon:Custom made katana and a Great Oar broadsword

Abilities/Attacks:

Appearance:

Personality:Refer to Snake's personality(though braver and more clever than he was)

Bio:One of the friend Snake meets back in the city near his hometown. Was the one who taught him the "Decoy" technique and rescued him during the bombardment.

Freedom's the power of everything!! Usual RP characters

"I'm going to carry that weight for the rest of my life..."

Character Sheet

Name: Liel Vanguard

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Status: Tempest (Aigle's Gale Guild Member), but decided to retire temporarily.

Nationality: Imelda

Weapons
->Claymore
A two-handed longsword that Liel acquired from Ezio's guards during the Imeldan skirmish in the Capital City. Judging from its material and craftsmanship, it was made with steel alloy, an obvious sign that this sword was made with Avirian technology. It does not have a trace of Anil however, and this allows the usage of special abilities by Aigle warriors.

The claymore becomes her main weapon after she lost her set of sword and shield during the fight in the Vermillion Compound. Liel is still maintaining it, even after the fall of Avira.

->Short Sword
A single handed weapon which acts as her backup weapon should Liel lost her claymore. Forged by Daedalos blacksmiths with their quality steel ingots. Light and easy to wield are its selling points.

Liel decided to forgo her usual sword and shield fighting stance, and takes up the heavier arms route, for more damage, though she will lose some protection that once her metal shield offered.

Abilities
->Reaver
A passive and a hereditary ability for Liel, passed down by her forefathers. She will go into the Reaver stance once she suffered severe wounds, giving her a boost of strength, and reduces the pain she suffers from her wounds. Ever since the initial awakening of the ability in the Vermillion Compound, she has become more familiar with it. Reaver will now last until either she reaches death, or after defeating all her enemies.

There are several more aspects of Reaver, but for now, Liel is unable to make full use of it, and serves only as her last stand ability.

Attacks
->Sword Launcher
Liel's trademark move whenever she uses a sword nowadays. By mustering a portion of her strength, she throws her claymore (or any other swords she has in hand) to a target with the aid of wind element. It is not an ordinary sword throw however, as the weapon travels much faster, dealing heavy damage when hit.

->Nova Strike
Liel swings her weapon in a wide 180 degree arc, knocking out enemies in front of her in this wind elemental attack. Only usable with two-handed weapons eg. her claymore, battle axes, warhammers.

Appearance: [Show]

Personality: Pessimistic and loves to sigh whenever she faces a problem, Liel is not the person you should share your problems with. Though she occasionally enjoys a fight or two, but Liel tries avoids any bloodshed as much as she can, except against bandits and thieves. She is quiet in most conversations, unless something interesting has happened.

After the Fall of Avira, Liel becomes even more reserved and melancholic.

Bio

Liel is a native Imeldan born in a middle class family. She lived a rather content life, as her father is the captain of the city guardsmen in Imelda while her mother worked as a tailor, selling high-class apparels to the Imeldan nobles. Shortly after her elder brother died in the war occured throughout the region of Aigle, Liel's father decided that she should be a soldier or a city guard just like her father, when she was a teenage girl. Despite Liel's disagreement, her father sent her for training, as arrangements has been made within the city guard, after he retired from the captain's post.

After completing 5 years of combined training and education, Liel was officially crowned as a city guardswoman of Imelda. She hated being a city guard and tends to skip patrols whenever she can, earning herself a bad reputation. During her 4 years of service, Liel noticed that guardsmen are getting more and more poorly equipped, as the years passed. She even bought her own set of weapons and armor, but that costs her a lot.

As the country becomes more unstable, Liel decided to resign from her post and joined the Aigle's Gale Guild, as the pay is much better and a chance to do some traveling, despite leaving her aged parents behind in Imelda.

Unable to let go the fact that she is one of the perpetrators that caused Avira to fall, Liel left the Aigle's Gale Guild temporarily, in search for ways to atone herself, and perhaps ease her own sense of guilt. As Imelda is officially ruled by the Children of Avira, Liel decided to go to Daedalos. Staying in an old friend's house at the countrysides, she started a simple tailoring business...

"Sometimes, you just have to find out the truth, or let the past haunt you."

Name: Leila Rune

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Status: Daedalos Military - Scout

Nationality: Avira

Weapons
->Wired Lance*
A pair of twin bladed, whip-like Avirian weaponry that extends its blades to a fair distance whenever the user swings them with enough force or through manual operation. It has an automated mechanism that allows the blades to be retracted back to its original position. When performing combos with the Lance, he or she must retract the blades, before executing another attack. This results in slower attacks, in exchange of longer reach, and able to hit multiple enemies in one swing.

Aside from these features, the Wired Lance, under the hands of a strong person, perhaps an Aigle soldier, one can throw or spin his/her targets if the blades struck, not to mention it can used as a grappling hook, overcoming obstacles and get to higher grounds. Its Anil blades ensure maximum damage. When the Lance is fed with liquid Anil, it can generate electricity upon user's handling, enough to wound or electrocute a target.

The Wired Lance was a good prospect, until the arrival of Anil Revolvers, rendering the weapon completely obsolete, despite its multiple features, as the guns provide superior stopping power and range. Leila's father was involved in the Lance's production, and thus legally owned the weapon. He gave his Wired Lance to Leila when she managed to finish her training with the weapon, just before the Fall of Avira.

Leila also have some basics in other fighting skills, as well as the usage of Anil Revolvers, but not as skilled as her proficiency in using Wired Lance.

Abilities/Attacks
->N/A

Appearance: [Show]

Personality: Confident, and independent. An eager person especially when she wants to achieve her objectives. However, Leila has a sharp mouth and can be arrogant, especially in boasting her successes and her strong points.

Bio

Born in an intellectual family, Leila did not have the chance to enjoy her childhood experience, as her parents wanted her to be a successful figure in Avira, preferably surpassing her parents. Her father, an aspiring engineer and inventor, administered Anil to Leila when she was 6 years old, in efforts to accelerate her intellectual growth.

It resulted a tremendous improvement in her intelligence, as Leila aced the exams offered by the Avirian education systems, not to mention that she also learned basic fighting, alongside with skills that allows her to be independent, such as cooking. Leila gained a lot of general knowledge, but at a cost of a happy childhood experience, and loneliness, due to the fact that she did not spend much time making friends.

The sudden increase of intelligence also caused another undesirable outcome on Leila when she was getting older: she becomes arrogant, and demanding when compared to her younger sister, who did not receive the Anil treatment. As her parents did not spent enough time with Leila because of their demanding occupations, she has caused numerous social problems, and argued with her parents.

The situation worsened, until that faithful day where she left the comfort of her house after a heated argument, and stayed with one of her friend's house. Leila hastily returned to her home 2 days later after hearing that her mother, a researcher, went inexplicably missing. The family searched high and low for her, but no results. As the days passed by, Leila started to suffer depression, as she thought that her runaway was the main cause for her mother's disappearance. From that time, any administrations of Anil were completely stopped, in order to treat her mental disorder.

By the time when Leila was nearing teenage, she recovered from her depression and began to undergo a normal life. She still retains her sharp mouth and a portion of her arrogance though. As the effects of Anil wore off, Leila becomes your typical Avirian teenager: not too smart, but not too slow either. Somehow, she hated the Anil Revolver with a passion, and instead preferred the Wired Lance as her main weapon.

Leila survived the Fall of Avira, alongside with her father and her sister, but suffered a severe loss on wealth. They are receiving humanitarian aid from Daedalos, but the family knew that this is not going to last long, and chances the country might try control them completely. Decided to support her aging father, Leila tries her hand on being as a scout for the Daedalos military. Of course, this is not her long term plan. Deep in her mind, Leila wants to unravel the ones responsible for Avira's fall...

It'll take some time for me to post characters. For now at least, Ryuu will become a minor character and I'll focus on characters from his squad instead. I'll add + to my characters' ages, as they should've aged somehow, if several years have passed.
EDIT: I guess I'll go with those three.

Name: Blackspirit Helion
Age: 17+
Gender: Female
Nationality: Lucine(?)
Weapon: Katana, named "Despair" (This sword had its own will in past, but now it's just a katana)
Abilities:
Iai - A katana quick-draw style.

Wing Halo - Helion can fly, though for a short period, mostly similar to a long jump. When she does, she has two white feathered wings.

Iron Maiden - A fast attack magic that hits distant enemy with a spear of darkness. Barely does any real damage, but weakens opponent for several minutes, similar to a poison.
Appearance:

Personality: Timid, polite
Bio: Helion officially joined Ryuu's squad, along with Halion, though they work seperately now. While Halion commands a sub-squad, Helion is a member of a special squad.

Name: Shanan
Age: 19(?)
Gender: Female
Nationality: Lucine(?)
Weapon: Double-sided sword
Abilities:
Water Magic - An ability to summon and control Ice and Water. This mostly has form of Icicle Rain - a machinegun-like attack of small icicles and Ice Wall, where she creates a wall of ice to guard an attack, but other spells are possible.

Water Imbue - Empower her weapon with a water-property. Mostly only makes weapon stronger and instantly-freeze inflicted wounds.

Water Gift - Shanan is resistant to water element and becomes stronger near the water source. Can breath water.
Appearance:

Personality: Refined and calm.
Bio: She is another member of the special squad Helion belongs to and acts as a mage there. Shanan speaks in an old-fashioned style, refering to herself as "warawa" (though again, in english that is not visible). She treats Ryuu as an older brother. Ryuu himself explain this by saying that in his travel he had to trespass into her land. However, though initially agressive, Shanan started trusting Ryuu after a short time. After learning of the fact that she is the last survivor of her family, Ryuu said he'll be her brother instead. She accepted his offer and became one his many allies. Following others, she joined Ryuu's squad in Lucine. (Shanan is obviously a dragon, though she never stated this. She doesn't try to hide it, though, as her appearance is different from that of a human. She was originally a princess of a Sea Dragon Emperor's family, but that family fell prey to the dragon hunters. Left alone, she cut any interaction with humans and was agressive, though trying to avoid bloodshed, to anyone, who entered her land. She trusted Ryuu fast, due to his real race, which makes all dragons attached to him. In this world, her strange appearance is considered to be either a "mage's feature" or a transformation, caused by some unknown contract with the water spirit)

Name: Florecia
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Nationality: Lucine(?)
Weapon: Flameblade (See her appearance)
Abilities:
Flameblade Control - A skill, that enables her to summon and unsummon Flameblade at will. She can unsummon it, even if it's not in her hands. Even if it gets broken, resummoning will return her sword to the original form.

Fire Imbue - Florecia can increase the temperature of her Flameblade or cover it in flames. This skill also grants her the immunity to any heat, resulted from this skill and allows her to extinguish it at will. This also affects any fire, caused by this skill. Fire Imbue cannot produce regular fire, only some kind of magical fire. The only drawback of this - Florecia can freeze to death in the snow mountain, being completely covered in her own flames.

Superhuman Strength - Florecia's body is extremely tough and strong, so she can swing her huge sword with one hand with ease. Her strength and toughness are extraordinary, up to the point of reaching the rank of special ability. Especially, considering the fact that she doesn't look muscular.
Appearance:

Personality: A hot-headed and a bit rough tomboy.
Bio: Florecia is the final member of the same special squad and its leader. Though Helion has more fighting skill and experience, Florecia is the only one of the three with any commanding skills. She is a former single bandit, who only attacked rich people or travelling merchants. At one such attack, she encountered Ryuu, who was hired by merchant's group as a bodyguard. After losing to him in a duel, she asked him to become her mentor. That was during the same travel, when Ryuu met Shanan and she was in his party, when he did. Despite being Ryuu's student for only several months yet, she learned a lot from him, including strategy and commanding skills. She respects Helion a lot as her senior and is a close friends with Shanan.

Minor characters:
Name: Ryuu Akumu(refer to first part)
Age: 27+
Gender: Male
Bio: Though he barely did anything during the Fall of Avira, as he was still recovering from overstraining his body in the previous fight, Ryuu still completed his original mission and returned to the Lucine. As time passed, his squad finally got some members: both consisting of Ryuu's personal allies (like Ciruella, Tsurara, Senritsu and such) and citizens of Lucine. Ryuu got promoted and was now holding a ranking of Colonel. Though mighty, his squad alone was not powerful enough to turn the tide of war. Despite that, he was one of the reasons why Lucine was still standing. Due to their country being greatly overpowered, Ryuu allowed himself to remove one of his limitters and is now worth a thousand soldiers, a so called ikkitousen(one against a thousand), or a one-man army. However, even that was like a single drop in the whole bucket of water. That was the final limitter he can remove in current world, unless his opponents are gods or demon lords.

Name: Greenspirit Halion(refer to first part)
Age: 20+
Gender: Female
Bio: Halion officially joined Ryuu's squad (though it's more of a small army now) and commands a sub-squad.

Done and Done in season 1. Can I get a head's up on the timeline now after Avira's fall? (how many months?). I also had my character send out letters to everyone asking them to come to Lucine ASAP as they are in a meeting now to determine the country's future.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Name: Malvinder Leonheart
Age: 25

Gender: Male

Nationality: Lucine

Status: Primary Adviser to Princess Luna II. Leader of her Royal Guard and also a member of the war council.

Weapon:

Abilities/Attacks:

a)Meikyo Shisui/Kyōka Suigetsu - Makes the enemy unable to sense his presence. It can also be derived into Kyōka Suigetsu which distorts his enemy's perception of him by creating an illusion akin to an afterimage. Neither ability can be active at the same time.

b)Aqua Vocal - He is able to use water in a variety of attacks an example would be forming water into various shapes of weapons for offensive or defensive purposes. However he CANNOT control things such as ice, blood or wind. He can attempt to use the water in the ice however this requires him to waste time sublimate it. This is one of his basic and most powerful abilities. This ability makes him one of the most feared and respected men in Lucine.

c)Matoi (Demon Clad) - An ability that Malvin is forbidden to use without the express permission of Princess Luna. It required the corporation of an ally to be used. Matoi allows him to 'take command' of an ally's 'existence'. When used on an ally, the ally disappears temporary while slight physical changes are seen on him. In reality the ally is 'fused' in a way with him.

Matoi allows him to use any ability that the ally he has 'fused' with has. He has 2 methods of using it:

Izutsu (fear cannon) which involves mounting the ally's power on his weapon and then firing this amplified attack at the enemy. It is most effective against enemies who attack head-on and least effective against enemies who rely on rapid-fire attacks. In this method, he is unable to use his own particular ability in conjunction with his ally's and the resulting attack comes in one powerful blast.

Kasane (fear layering) involves him wrapping his ally's powers about himself like a kimono and then aligning their two hearts. Thus enabling the former to use both his own particular ability and his ally's, thus granting more freedom of movement. Additionally, this version is sustained longer than the Izutsu method.

As such an ability would bring extreme unwanted attention, Malvin sealed it with the assistance of a Lucine Major and gave the 'key' to Princess Luna. He did not use this ability in Season 1 due to it not being 'unlocked'.

Also, Malvin can only use 1 aspect of Matoi when its active (etc. he cannot use Kasane while Izutsu is active and vice-versa). Finally, after he releases Matoi, the ally that he used it with loses about 70% of their current stamina making it near impossible for him to continuously Matoi with the same ally.

Appearance:

Personality: The embodiment of conviction, he follows his personal rules and honor to the letter, and expects the same of others. Malvin is very loyal to Luna and takes his duties very seriously, expecting the same from the rest of the generals. His loyalty is so great that he is willing to sacrifice himself and the other officers in order to defeat their enemies, believing it to be their duty to lay down their lives for the sake of the Lucine if necessary. He is well-respected and highly honorable, and always treats those around him with respect, even those who are weaker or not as highly ranked as he is. As a result, he can be easily approached by other. Due to his high moral code, Malvin will never let any harm come to either his underlings or those who attempt to protect them. He refuses to give up when he believes something is wrong and will break a rule to do what is right.

This is the main reason why Luna respects him so much and truly believes in him. In combat terms, he always maintains a semblance of respect for his opponent and is polite in combat situations. He also has a high measure of mercy, and dislikes fighting in the presence of children or innocent women.

Due to the events in recent months, he has become less of a hardass and more 'humane'.

Bio: During the dark periods of the previous rulers, one of their common acts was to dispose of anyone who went against them. Malvinder Leonheart's family of one of the most vocal and as such was one of the worst hit. In a swift and deadly maneuver, his entire family was wiped out in a single stroke leaving him as the only survivor.

As the flames of war fanned, Malvin went to ground to train and also to prepare for an opportunity to take revenge. One day, he met a girl just a few years younger then him and was shocked to discover that she was Princess Luna II. he originally wished to take revenge on her for his family, but his honour would never have him place the sins of a parent of their child. To his eternal shock, when she found out whom he was, she bowed on her knees and begged for forgiveness.

Moved by this, he listen to her story and wish to end the worthless war that had driven the country to ruin. They hatched a plan that had her appoint him as the head of her personal guard. When the war ended, they conducted a coup d'état, that successfully dethroned the previous rulers.

After installing Luna as the ruler of Lucine, she immediately appointed Malvin as her personal and most respected adviser. He also maintained his position as head of her guard but now this was the Royal Guard. Luna being inexperienced as a ruler often relies on him for advice and often annoys him by asking his help to handle matters that she honestly has no idea what to do. He is annoyed as these missions often take him far from the palace and as such from his charge.

It was under his advise that Luna shifted that capital from Hala to Selene. He often makes trips into Hala to discover what lies inside of those cursed walls. He also is a member of the war council making him more or less the second most powerful individual in the country.

After the fall of Avira, Malvin insisted on the orphans landing close by for the party to disembark. Realizing that there was going to be a scramble for the island, Malvin gave his goodbyes and quickly grabbed all his fellow Lucine countrymen and left for the island.

They rendezvoused with a small fighting force sent by Princess Luna to secure the site. However, due to their relative proximity to the crash site, Daedalos's army arrived first and Malvin immediately halted any aggressive movements. There was a minor tense moment between the forces but Malvin managed to convince the Daedalos commander that they were just a scout force.

They were allowed to leave in peace and backed off just in time to watch a disorganized Imeldan army arrive. The foolish Imeldians mounted an attack that was completely torn apart.

Malvin lead his forces back home to Lucine. During the journey home, Malvin lamented privately that if only the island had fallen just a bit close to Lucine, they would have arrived first.

Malvin and the army returned home to Lucine with news of their failure and intelligence on what technology they had witnessed so far. As months passed by, Malvin left on solo missions to Daedalos and Imelda to gather intelligence and the result of his work revealed a new horror.

Upon his return from his undercover missions, a full council meeting was called into session. The neutral news was that Daedalos was taking care of the Aravarians and letting them remain independent but under their protection.

The horrifying news came from Imelda. Malvin had discovered that Ezio & The Children of Avira had taking complete control of the country. With the influx of Avirian technology and knowledge, Imelda is quickly becoming the most powerful force in Aigle. The advanced weapons, cunning military and economic leaders, and overall more competent leadership utterly shocked and horrified the leaders of Lucine.

Malvin openly stated that right now, Imelda actually could conquer the rest of the world. The time frame needed for them to do so was dependance on how long the Children took to arm the army.

The cold hard fact was that Lucine is now the most vulnerable country in Aigle and it is likely to be the first country attacked should Imelda declare war. It does not have any access to Avirian weapons, is still recovering from near economic collapse, and is now dealing with a possible enemy country whose new leaders could easily outclass Lucine's in terms of intelligence.

During the lengthily meeting it was proposed that Lucine is now faced with only three options. It must either choose to join the Daedalos Empire and swear allegiance to Empress Felicita VII, side with the Kingdom of Imelda to avoid a full-scale invasion, or resist Imelda's eventual advance and attempt to fend off a country they likely could never defeat in a head-to-head confrontation.

Right now, Malvin is at the meeting with the other leaders of Lucine arguing to determine the fate of their country. Malvin along with almost everyone on the War Council is utterly against surrendering Lucine's independence. Most of them are arguing in favor of alliances with the others 2 powers. Malvin is the loudest and strongest protestor of allying with Imelda due to 1st hand accounts of dealing with Ezio and his ilk.

Malvin himself is supporting a proposal for a temporary alliance with Daedalos in order to stand against Imelda. However the main problem with this is that Empress Felicita does not accept compromises and will demand that Lucine swears itself completely to her or stand alone.

The secondary council known as the governing council is also causing the military council several problems. The members of this council are heavily supporting allying with Imelda due to their fear of the technology there. A few of them are agreeable in joining Daedalos but almost none of them wish to fight.

Malvin is currently stalling for time in hopes that another solution would present itself.

Name: Wendy Marvell

Age: 12

Gender: Female

Nationality: Lucine

Weapon: Unknown.

Abilities/Attacks: Wend has only 2 known abilities so far.

a)Sky Dragon Slayer - A hyper rare type of ability, Dragon Slayers were said to use their powers to fight dragons in legends. According to Malvin it is a type of magic so rare its found in less then 0.5% of Aigle's population. As a Sky Dragon Slayer, Wendy posses the ability to manipulate air. Her Magic allows her to heal people from the most serious of injuries, even those caused by a dragon, allowing her to use even a kiss to heal other people and can even counteract other Magic. Her Magic also deals support effect, such as increasing attack and speed.

She can 'eat' air to regenerate wounds and replenish lost energy. However the quality of the air affects her regeneration and in polluted areas may even worsen her body. Her ability also allows her to sense air currents and she can use it to predict the weather.

Wendy's healing is at an extremely powerful level and even able to nullify the effects of powerful poisons. However, employing such exclusive powers seems to be very tiring for the user, who can’t make use of them in consecutive reprises.

Wendy does posses offensive spells taking the form of whirlwinds but according to Malvin she lacks the training and experience to use them effectively.

b)Expert Medical Specialist - Being the student of a Master Healer like Porlyusica for at least 6 years, Wendy herself has reached journeyman level in healing. By employing special medicines, which she extracts from herbs, and with her knowledge of the human body, Wendy increases her ability to heal people.

Appearance:

Personality: Wendy has a very shy and polite personality. She is very eager to try and make friends. Wendy also cares greatly for Malvinder Leonheart and Porlyusica. Wendy is becoming more confident and brave as time goes on, and she always tries to be of help wherever she can. She also is intelligent and has a very honest personality, is "direct and open with her emotions", and is easily swayed by people around her. However, this also causes her to be "very romantic". She can be spontaneous and "slightly ditzy" as well as a bit clumsy.

Bio: Wendy Marvell was found in a forest closed to the cursed former capital city of Lucina, Hala. She was rescued by Malvinder Leonheart who discovered that she had no knowledge of her past and only remembered her name. He brought her to Magnolia and then adopted her. however, at the time the rebellion was going on so he left her in the care of Master Healer Porlyusica. Once things calmed down he visited her often but left her in Porlyusica's care she the healer had decided to take her on as a student.

Malvin and Wendy still maintain a very close relationship and visit each other quite often.

After the fall of Avira, Wendy returned to training under Porlyusica. She is currently in Selene with her master as Porlyusica is a member of the war council.

@Emiya - There's no real need to rush it. I posted the thread yesterday, but I don't expect the RP to be ready to start until possibly next Sunday. You've got a week or maybe even more before anything happens (I realize it's school starting week, so I don't expect much activity around the forums for the time being).

@Roxas and Massacre - Right, I must have erased the part about how much time has passed when I was editing. It's only been about 3 months from UtPBS to UtPBS2. I'll edit that back in when I get the chance.

@Roxas - I'm still not sure how I'm going to start the RP at the moment, I need to think about that over the course of the week. I can tell you that your plan of sending letters out to everyone to gather in Lucine wouldn't work out. I already know that there are going to be a few new people joining the RP and I don't want to separate them at the beginning. LD's character is part of the Daedalos Military technically, so it wouldn't make much sense for him to show up given whats going on. The freelance characters would probably not have any issue with meeting there, but the AGG members wouldn't be quite as simple.

The starting location, however, will probably be in Lucine. I kind of want to start off with Hala, but I'll see what happens with that.

@Snake - You hadn't posted for a while, so I assumed you had dropped out. Good to see you back in though. I need to get you added to the cast section when I edit the post.

Well, I'll see where this RP will take me.

@ Jon: Made both of my Characters from Usha. Go ahead and tell me if something is off, and I'll change it. Explanation of the Blue Confederation is in my second character's Bio.

Name: Agnest Craghaster

Age: 28

Gender: F

Status: The Blue Confederation of Usha - Red Claw Duelist and Temporary Envoy

Nationality: Imeldan

Weapon: Shark Espada - An exceptionally long rapier that features a jagged edge near the sword's point. It is infamous amongst duelists of Usha as it has been known to cause severe bleeding to anyone unfortunate enough to get slashed by it.

Abilities/Attacks:

Magic Collapse - A particular school of magic on present day Usha taught that all magic is unstable. This concept would go on to state that the source of this instability is an "Origin Point" from which the phenomena originates. Should this point be struck through, the attack would simply collapse.

This skill is neigh impossible for most normal people as it requires someone whom can pinpoint the Origin Point and strike it without being hit by the spell itself. The user in this case has their lengthy sword and the "Point Shift" skill that assists with executing this ability. The user also is one of the very few people of this school to understand the teachings and have actual on field experience in using it. The user is able to nullify up to medium strength projectile spells directed at them, though Magic that is casted too close, or high level magic cannot be nullified at this user's current skill level.

Point Shift - The same particular school of Magic on Usha taught that, Telekinesis is possible for all human beings given that the object to be manipulated in question was familiar to the user. Once successfully "Familiarized", the object can be manipulated to the user's will. In this user's case, it allows for the sword to be moved telekinetically as well as make physically impossible trajectory changes mid-swing.

Point shift allows for a couple of other useful in battle advantages. For example, the user can apply the initial amount of strength needed to slash a sword, but allow "Point Shift" to carry through the attack (allowing the user to last much longer in sword-fights). It can also be used to intercept other projectiles such as arrows under reasonable circumstances. At the user's level, point shift does enough to move the user's weapon, but does not increase the strength of a slash. It took roughly 5 years for the user to Familiarize with their particular weapon.

Masterful Legs - The Pirates of Usha has a sort of love affair with legs. Aside from their aesthetic quality, the art of being able to hold one's own on a rocking ship is an achievement worthy of praise! The user has spent years of their life aboard ships in less than suitable weather for extended periods. As such, they are less susceptible to falling down or losing balance. The user's confidence in their legwork also allows them to perform rather extravagant combat maneuvers and attacks in combat.

Appearance:

Personality: a woman with a taste for the finer things in life. She is most often worried with getting a good meal and a comfortable place to sleep. Though she looks like she's goofing off or dis-interested half the time, she'll follow her master's order's almost single mindedly, as being obedient guarantees a good meal later.

Bio:

She never really got to know her parents.

Severely in debt, her parents were forced to give up their younger daughter to pay off the vast amount of debt that they had accumulated. Aghest's duty-bound older sister, offered herself in her place.
Instead to her shock, her parents sold both of them off in order to pay off their debt and receive an extra bonus in cash. Aghest's sister would become their master's favorite concubine, and because of this, she was able to successfully persuade him to keep Aghest from becoming any sort of concubine herself once she came of age.

Instead, Argest was given the task of becoming one of the groups' "Duelists." Dueling traces it's roots far back in pirate history. Where two captains of a ship would put out their best fighters to duel. The winning side would receive the losing side's ship and have its crew surrender. Originally set up by the merchants to avoid needless bloodshed, the practice has largely died out, but remains relevant amongst pirates as a way of settling disputes.

Arghest was taught under the "Clear Illusion" school of combat as a joke, since a vast majority of students whom enter are neigh unable to even come to understand the advanced techniques required to receive mastery. Interestingly enough, the single Minded young girl was able to force her way through the curriculum, and overnight, became one of her group's most cherished assets. Sadly, in her time at the school, her sister passed away during her time there, without anyone else to support her emotionally, she simply followed orders.

As years passed, she gained notoriety and a stellar reputation as a duelist. Her ability to effectively lock down the unique magic abilities of other duelists and force them into traditional combat gave her the nickname: "The White Knight". She also came to get over the loss of her sister by indulging in the sweets she was given when her sister was still alive.

The events of the mainland have been a cause for concern for some of the Usha pirates and merchants. Along with the fact that most pirate disputes have been settled thanks to efforts by the Blue Confederation, Arghest has been paired with another representative to see what is happening on the continent. The two are but one pair out of several sent out to investigate.

Name: Spica Maximillian

Age: 21

Gender: F

Status: The Blue Confederation of Usha - Envoy

Nationality: Ushan

Weapon: Efreet Pistolero - A set of pistols given as a birthday present. While pretty to look at, they're actually well made, as they were both custom made revolvers that once belonged to two different pirates of considerable fame.

Abilities/Attacks:

Burst Bullet - A single bullet from her pistol can be set with a timed fire glyph that will explode at a set distance. The explosion is strong enough knock an opponent back and/or set things on fire.

The user has to decide how far away the bullet will explode before firing. Irregular movements such as a sudden close in can throw off calculations. Also needs a 30 second recharge in between the burst bullet shots.

Magic Ignite - An advanced form of Magic Collapse that is only limited to the most dedicated of students. As the particular school of magic taught, magic has an "Origin Point" which is the epicenter of the phenomenon. Within the Origin Point there is an even more peculiar point that, while nameless, will automatically cause the phenomena to explode. She considers herself above using the lesser "Magic Collapse" skill.

Locating this point, however, takes substantially longer. And as such, the user truly needs a moment to successfully aim at the target, (roughly 5 seconds). On the bright side, this spell is capable of handling everything from small or large magics. Needs one minute in between uses.

Miraculous Reload Time - The user of these revolvers have had the privilege of having a gratuitous amount of time and free ammunition to practice with their sidearms. Fueled by their love of the reloading animation, they are capable of literally taking a fistful of bullets and stuffing them into the cylinder of their revolver to reload.

Appearance:

Personality: A typical book smart adventurer. She was born into one of the greater merchant families and as such, enjoyed a comfortable lifestyle. She is eager to prove herself to her family through her current task.

Bio: She has yet to see what it truly means to live in difficulty.

Spica is one of the native born of Usha. She was further fortunate in being born into one of the island's merchant families, thus enjoying a rather comfortable lifestyle. She was encouraged to be raised like the prim and proper nobles of the mainland, her schooling gave her a wealth of knowledge about the world far beyond Usha.

As a teenager, Spica spent much of her time around the pirates that her father would regularly deal with. While under constant guard, she learned how to properly duel-wield pistols, which she would continue to drill herself in to this very day. Seeing the pirates go out to sea also gave her a desire to see the outside world.

At this time, her father was also seeking to "loosely" unify various large pirate groups on the island. His "Blue Confederation" was largely an attempt to decrease the amount of pirate disputes that caused the occasional brawl at the docks. Trade and supply incentives allowed to the Confederation to form, and is what continues to be the driving force in getting others to join. In reality, the confederation is still but a minority compared to the vast amount of independent pirates, but they are largely accepted, or maybe tolerated to an extent. The confederation is still largely about settling disputes amongst pirates, but it has also sought to expand towards looking after the general well being of the island.

The news of the Fall of Avira quickly made its way to the island. As such, the Blue Confederation decided it was worth sending out envoys to actively observe how the event will change the continent's diplomatic situation.

Spica was sent out with a representative of one of the pirate groups to represent her father's interests, as well as to carry out a personal agenda of making contact with a group allegedly responsible for the Fall of Avira, as well as the new king of the kingdom of Imelda.

Well, after having to drop the original UtPBS, I'm coming back with Wren. I replaced one of her abilities with a new one and changed up her personality a bit. I'll be adding a little something to her bio to explained what happened while she was gone as well.

Name: Wren Goldcrest

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Nationality: Daedalos

Status: Former Aigle's Gale Guild Member, now a Wanderer (Not a traveling Mercenary, just a traveler)

Weapon: A dagger which she inherited from her adoptive father, but lately she has become fond of poisonous needles as well, especially after she learned the hard way how bad a case of poisoning can be.

Abilities:
Sing-Song: Wren sings a bird call, which will call upon all of the birds in the general area. Due to the bird call, these birds will not attack the enemy, but rather, they would sing; piercing the ears of anyone in the vicinity and making them deaf to everything except for the song. Even after the birds are gone, the song of the birds will still ring in the victims' ears.

Play Ball: Wren can control the earth around her to form a ball (Which Wren calls a mudball), which shortly after formation will violently explode mud, soil, rocks, or whatever else it was made out of. The largest mudball she can form is about the size of a basketball, but she can form smaller mudballs that are about the size of a baseball. Its explosion covers a 3 meter radius at most (The largest mudball she can form will cover a 3 meter radius, but smaller mudballs will have a smaller explosion radius).

Toxic Hands: After suffering from a bad case of poisoning, Wren acquired the ability Toxic Hands in place of Natural Power. When calling upon this ability, anything that she touches will be poisoned. The type of poisoning depends on whether she barely touches the person (Light poisoning) or if she's able to grab onto them with both hands (Bad poisoning). No matter what the poisoning, the poisoning alone cannot kill her opponent (It can, however, be bad enough to knock them unconscious if it's a bad poisoning).

Appearance:

Personality: Wren used to have a more care-free attitude on life, however, since she was poisoned, she has become more serious. That's not to say that she doesn't want any fun out of life, yet she certainly has become more cautious and thoughtful regarding certain matters.

Bio: Wren had been abandoned by her parents shortly after her birth, and she was left in a forest in Daedalos, presumeably to die. That is, until a young trader traveling through the forest came upon her. The trader took her in and raised her as one of his own along with his wife, a merchant who lived in and ran a marketplace in a village in Daedalos.

Wren lived with her mother and helped her run the marketplace until she was 8, when her father took her on a short trip to Selene, the capital of Lucine (Which was not very far from her hometown in Daedalos). Since then, she had alternated between the two lifestyles, one of staying at home and helping her mother with the marketplace, and the other of traveling across Aigle with her father. Because of this, she has become a skilled traveler, obtaining knowledge in various matters. She has also learned many fighting techniques while traveling with her father, making her decent in combat as well.

When Wren was 13, she had returned from her first trip to Usha with her father. The trip itself went well for them, however, only a day after they had returned home, her father became terribly ill. For almost a year, he was bedridden with this unusual illness, which even the local healers could not identify. Gradually, after almost a year had passed, he started to get better, yet even as he got better he still lacked the basic abilities needed as a trader: he was physically weak and he could not walk long distances. Because of this, he career as a trader came to an end. Their marketplace was still supported by other traders passing through their village, and they managed to live a comfortable life as a merchant family.

Yet, as time went on, Wren realized that this was not was she wanted. She had wanderlust, and she yearned for travel and adventure. Thus, when she turned 16, she asked her parents if she could return to a life of travel by becoming a part of Aigle's Gale Guild. Her parents, believing that she was experienced enough, allowed her to travel on her own. Her father gave her his dagger for protection, and the next day she departed on her journey. Ever since that day, Wren has been traveling. She has visited all of the major countries of Aigle excluding Avira, and it is her dream to travel there.

After doing a bit of traveling and winding up in the Usha Anarchy, Wren suffered a bout of poisoning during a battle. At first, she thought she had recovered, but just before she got on the airship with the others, she collapsed. Apparently, the poisoning had affected her to the point that it negated her Natural Power ability to cure it. At this point, Alaric took her back to his ship, deciding that she was in no condition to continue the journey. Instead, he took her under his care in order to help her heal from her poisoning. During this time, Wren retired from Aigle's Gale Guild, deeming that she wasn't in any condition to stay as a member of the Guild. Not only that, but Wren began to develop feelings for Alaric as he took care of her, with the two going on dates and eventually getting into a relationship.

Upon hearing of the details regarding the fall of Avira and the rise of Ezio and the other children in the Kingdom of Imelda, Wren felt as though she had healed enough and was ready to continue her travels.

Name: Alaric Boreas

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Nationality: Usha

Status: Adventurer/Captain

Weapon: Rapier and armored gauntlet

Abilities:
Sword Storm: Alaric summons a number of transparent blades, up to 30, that appear in the air around him, these
blades can then be propelled against the enemy either one by one or in larger groups. The blades either act as
ordinary swords and cut their target or create a blast of air on impact.

Aegis of Blades: Summons a ring of blades that orbits behind Alaric or someone else nearby. These blades will
react to magical attacks made against the receiver of the Aegis and will automatically block these attacks.
Maximum number of blades is 30 and depending on the strenght of the attack it may require more than one blade
to block a single attack.

Banehammer/Nemesis Lance: Alaric focuses energy either into his gauntlet or into his sword. The energy is then
released, the way the energy behaves differs whether he focused into his sword or his gauntlet. When focused
into the gauntlet the energy acts like an explosion blasting outward from the palm of his hand. When focused
into the sword the energy creates a lance of pure energy which is capable of piercing most defenses. Most people
think that the two releases are different abilities and so the ability has two names. Released from the gauntlet
it's known as Banehammer, released from the sword it's known as Nemesis Lance.

Appearance:

Personality: Alaric likes living whatever comes his way. He takes anyhting that comes his way into stride and
if he can have laugh while doing so, even better. Though sometimes you get glimpses of something darker
beneath the surface.

Bio: Alaric is the captain of a ship called The Undine, it is not the largest ship, but it is one of the fastest
and as such Alaric has struck a deal with the Aigle's guild, where the guild members can ask him for transport
should they be in need of it, he receives a compensation for the loss of trade that the transportation incurs
from the guild.

Sometimes Alaric also accompanies the guild members on their explorations in return for a share of the loot. This
is excellent deal for Alaric who likes the explorations and since his crew is trustworthy he knows he can leave
the ship in their care while he is exploring the ruins and other places. He has also been offered the guild
membership twice before, but so far he has declined the offer.

He also has a companion that usually perches on his shoulder, a parrot he called Ramirez. Ramirez likes to fly
around and is quite fearless, often trying to land on the shoulders of people Alaric meets. Ramirez can also
deliver messages, but it's something Alaric doesn't ask of him that often.

Alaric doesn't talk much about his past, he has admitted that he comes from Usha and that his parents still live
there. Also Usha is the place where he got his ship, seven years earlier, though how he aqcuired it isn't exactly
certain. He says he won it after a bet, though nobody, except him, knows what kind of bet it was.

@Everyone - Alright, we're going to go ahead and get started now. Sorry it took so long to get things moving. I've been stressed out with the job hunting and my part-time job has been cropping up at inopportune times recently.

Everyone should be linked to the Player List now, although I've tried to link only major player characters.

Considering the large amount of characters in the RP at the moment, we're probably going to have to break things into two groups, although I won't force anyone into one group or the other. The group outside Hala will be into the action more quickly, while the team in Lucine with Roxas' characters are likely going to have a bit more talking starting out. I will have a character in both groups though.

I'm noticing that a lot of people are creating multiple characters each. I don't have a problem with that, but I just want to remind those people that they are responsible for keeping track of all of their characters. So if they have multiple characters in different places or conversations, then they will be responsible for following each event related to them. Keep that in mind if you plan to have 2 or more characters.

Alright, opening post is up. I may need to do a little bit of editing since I've been a little distracted while typing it up, but it will mostly be detail changes rather than major changes. I will also have the profile completed for Juno in a little bit, although that only has an impact on LNDN/Roxas at the moment I believe. Apologies if some of the stuff in this post doesn't make much sense. I've been pretty out of it today, so I may be screwing up the dialog a little bit.

Edit: Oh, and before anyone points it out, temporaryfornow does already have my permission to use the Jillian and Darren characters. I didn't have any more use for them, so I let him take control of them.

~Winds of Change~

[Imelda - Capital City - The Children of Avira Council Room]

"The loss of Avira has slowed our expected progress. I would like you to explain just how this was supposed to benefit us."

Ezio sat back in the large chair near the back of the circular table. The other 7 Children of Avira who were part of the ruling Imeldan Council had been constantly doubting since his plan for Avira had gone awry.

"Very well. I will admit that Avira's loss was not expected. My plan was for the Avirian's to move all of the small Anil deposits to one side of the main island. Unfortunately, the group I set up to enact the plan acted too quickly which caused the island to drift on a different course than what was planned. There simply wasn't as much time as was hoped to move all the Anil. Aside from that, the group unexpectedly acquired several warriors from Aigle just before carrying out their attack. This left us unprepared to act as quickly as we had hoped which let Daedalos move in and take control. This also resulted in our plan of pinning the incident on the rebel group falling through."

One of the female children spoke up, interrupting Ezio as he started going off track.

"Zack did not ask you to explain the process, Ezio. He asked you how the results are supposed to benefit us instead of the current hindrance they are proving to be."

Ezio sighed in frustration before trying to come up with an answer that would get him off of the chopping block.

"I. . . do not have an answer to that question as of yet. Although I cannot think of any benefits from the way things turned out, I can assure you that this will not be harmful. Progress may have slowed, but we have more than enough time to make up for it. Lucine is a non-factor at this point, and despite the fact that Daedalos has control of Avira, they will progress at a much slower rate than Imelda during the arms race. They also do not have the same understanding of Anil that we do, even if they manage to wring information out of any surviving children. Of course, I haven't even brought up the fact that we still control the entire Avirian airship fleet. Trust me, my plan may not have gone the way I wanted it to, but I have not left us in a worse position because of it."

The children were still visibly upset with Ezio. He was constantly doing things behind their backs, even more so than the other children did. They were also uneasy with him due to the strange powers he had obtained. Even they were unsure of how he managed to accomplish it. Ezio had promised them that they would all have the same ability as him someday soon, but that was a promise that was very unlikely to be kept. All the remaining children could do for the time being was to secure as much power as they could in their new country while working on a way to counter Ezio should he try and take complete control.

[Lucine - Outside Hala]

Miranda and Excellen had arrived just outside the city gates of Hala after receiving an invitation to take part in a major operation there. The invitation was distributed through the Aigle's Gale Guild to anyone who wanted to take part and promised a large payoff if the results were good. The job was being offered by the Aigle's Gale Guild itself, but news had quickly traveled that Daedalos was actually the one sponsoring it. Lucine had hesitated in joining the empire, so they decided to send in mercenaries to explore the mysterious city rather than wait for a decision from Lucine. The interest in Hala was mainly due to the ruins that were supposedly hidden beneath the city, but the Daedalos Empire was also hoping that there would be leftover documents or hidden funds from the previous rulers. Due to the quick abandonment of the capital after Princess Luna II moved it, as well as her overall inexperience, it was believed that the old castle could still hold information on Lucine that would be useful as leverage for the empire.

"I really don't like the look of this place. It creeps me out."

Miranda looked around the city gate and noticed that there were other warriors approaching the gate. She recognized a few of them as people she had fought beside months ago, and some of them she only vaguely recalled seeing before.

"Well, at least I won't have to tag along with a bunch of strangers."

[Lucine - Selene - Outside Throne Room]

"We have been trying to talk them into joining the Empire since the moment we arrived here weeks ago. I understand that politics take time, but this is ridiculous. We have more pressing matters to attend to than trying to acquire a financially ruined country. I wish the Empress would abandon these talks and simply focus on the problem at hand."

Juno was lamenting her presence at the Lucine meeting. She was accompanied by an envoy named Lanavel and a bodyguard named Arden. The were others present as well, but Juno ended up sticking close to those two. They were here to try and talk Princess Luna II into joining the Daedalos Empire, but the negotiations had been making little to no progress for quite some time. The Lucine officials did not want to sacrifice sovereignty, but Empress Felicita VII was clear that she would not accept Lucine as a temporary partner should war begin with Imelda. At the very least, Empress Felicita had stated that Lucine's compliance was not a necessity. This made the envoy's job difficult to complete, but there was no stress involved if it were to fail.

"Where do you two think we should go from here? We don't really have much room to move considering the orders we were given by the Empress. Should we try to scare them into agreeing?"

[Alaric - The Undine]

Alaric was standing next to his desk in the captain's cabin, the first rays of the morning sun were lighting up the cabin as he had just finished reading aloud the invitation that had been sent to his ship. He dropped the paper onto his desk and walked to bed, which was separated from the rest of the cabin by a movable screen, sitting down on the edge.

"Well, that certainly seems interesting, there should be a decent amount of coin to made for sure even if only half of the rumors are true."

He laid down on his back on the bed and stared at the ceiling, before turning to look at his side, smiling.

"What do you think? Should we take a course for Hala and have a look?"

[Agnest Craghaster - Lucine - Outside Hala]

Amongst the members of Aile’s Gale Guild stood a couple who struggled to look as inconspicuous as possible. The rather well dressed young woman with fiery pink hair uncomfortably stood beside a seemingly absentminded woman wearing an incredibly ridiculous hat. Quietly, the lady in pink hair nudged her partner.

“Miss Craghaster, might you consider putting your hat away? I get the feeling its attracting unwanted attention…”

The woman turned her head to her partner with a hint of annoyance.

“We really don’t need to be here right now… We’re not even really part of the-“

She was quickly hushed by her partner.

“Shhh! Don’t say it out loud! Exercise some restraint Ag… Uh.. Angie-chan..!”

The white haired woman’s face tinged with a hint of annoyance. She took a moment to remember the chain of events that ultimately lead to their current situation.

[Lucine – Port City – A Couple Days Ago]

“AGH! What did you do that for!”

A young woman with daggers collapsed on the ground, holding her foot. Before her was an apathetic looking woman in pirate attire being pulled away by her pink haired companion.

“Miss Craghaster! Why did you smash this girl’s foot!?”

“You don’t have to address me so formally. Just call me Agnest.”

“Don’t change the subject!”

“Oh no, Partner!? What happened!?”

The two momentarily stopped their argument to see the victim’s apparent partner show up to properly be shocked at the sudden turn of events.

“I accidently bumped into that person with the weird hat and before I knew it she stomped on my foot… really hard!”

Agnest turned to them, her foot making a clanking noise as she did so.

“I didn’t stomp on it, I just lightly tapped her foot with my heel.”

The group took a quick look at the source of the clanking noise, the woman’s footwear seemed to have some sort of metal plating covering the boot itself, causing a moment of awkward silence. The victim and her partner had a feeling that trying to reason with a person of this caliber would ultimately be fruitless.

“I don’t think that was a light tap for her, Miss Craghaster...”

“Geez, how are we supposed go to “Hala” now?”

Feeling partially responsible for what had happened, the girl in pink hair apologized to the two adventurers.

“I’m really sorry for my partner’s behavior. We’ll make it up to you two somehow.”

“I told you, she was the one who bumped into ME!”

The two would soon find out their small task would require a side trip to Lucine’s former capital, Hala.

[Lucine - Outside Hala]

Agnest let out an exasperated sigh, her last memory being how far they had to travel to get here, and how far they would have to travel back in order to get back on their original path. At this point though, going back right now would seem like a bigger waste of time than going through with the apology promise.

“Fine, I’ll go along with this pointless thing. But I don’t want to get confused from the start of this whole thing using these pointless names Spica.”

Spica, finally seeing a chance to put an end to their quarrel, happily agreed, putting an end to their hushed conversation. It seemed doubtful that anyone here knew the two girls from the port city personally anyway. All they had to do was fool the people keeping role call to let them in and participate. Despite this, Spica couldn’t help but frown to herself as they waited, worrying about something else.

Spica: (I heard about this place needing to get abandoned, but I didn’t think the atmosphere would be as heavy as it is...)

Spica glanced at Agnest, inattentively standing, and looking as deceitfully incompetent as she always does. She then pulled out her pistols, and inspected in preparation for the upcoming fight, as well as to pass the time.

Agnest, on the other hand, was casually eying out the people in the group. She noticed someone who was an apparent scythe wielder, sparking a thought within her mind.

Agnest: (Interesting choice, that’s a pretty sizable weapon.)

Thinking of it as a sizable weapon reminded Agnest of her own rapier; so long that she has to either carry it on her back or move the sword’s scabbard belt up to around her stomach to keep it from constantly hitting the ground due to its length. Agnest received a few snide comments from her opponents about going with the latter choice.

Agnest continued to struggle with finding pointless things to think about to pass the time waiting. One of them being imagining how the girl with graciously sized pieces of armor managed to become strong enough to walk around in her suit.

Name: Joe (real name is unknown)

Age: Unknown, but looks to be 17-20 years old.

Gender: Male

Status: N/A

Nationality: Unknown

Weapon: His body

Abilities/Attacks:

1. Reinforcement- All of Joe's attributes (speed, strength, senses, etc.) are passively raised to high levels, with a focus on physical strength and defense. His body becomes strong as armor, while his legs and hands can match even most weapons. Strangely enough, this ability is extended to his plain clothing and shoes as well (but not armor or weapons). However, he is unable to make his reinforcement any stronger; that is, he can't temporarily gain even more power by willing it (although in long fights, a blue aura will eventually surface. This merely indicates he is reaching his limits in regards to stamina, although it could intimidate opponents. A blue aura won't appear if he is instantly taken out though). On the plus side, it doesn't take any additional energy or active thought on his part to maintain Reinforcement. In addition, it is strong enough to match and even surpass some active abilities/skills that focus on strengthening the user. The strength and diversity of this ability is enough to be considered as two abilities.

2. Unknown Martial Arts Mastery- Joe is deadly in close combat, even against armed opponents. His martial arts is unknown to the world of Aigle, making his moves hard to predict on a first encounter. If given an opportunity, he is able to disarm opponents and execute devastating combos.

Appearance: Photobucket

Stands out a bit due to his clothing and suitcase.

Personality: Relatively neutral and calm personality; he's not a stickler to rules, but he doesn't cause wanton chaos either. He is usually hard to provoke.

The boy woke up. He had a huge headache and felt fatigued. Nonetheless, without opening his eyes, he reflexively raised his arm against a persistent pecking. The annoyance stopped.

But, where was he? What was...

Screams. The sound of swords and armor colliding. The smell of gunpowder filled the air.

Squish... Squish...?

The boy opened his eyes and stood up. He realized that he was holding the handle of a suitcase in one hand. Also, that he wasn't laying on a pillow.

Bodies. They weren't humans anymore, merely corpses. Liters and liters of the red liquid of life oozed out. He realized that the thing pecking him earlier was one of those birds. Those birds of death pecked and pecked.

And pecked. The boy saw a bird nonchalantly consume an eyeball.

The boy, taking in all of the sights, sounds, and smells of the hell before him, ran. To where, he didn't know. But, he knew anything was better than here...

===========================================================

[Around 3 months later- Western Daedalos Countryside]

"Good work today, Joe."

Joe stopped tending to the crops and walked over to the old man.

"It's a bit early to stop though, isn't it?"

The old man shook his head.

"Actually, I want you to do something else for me. Can you go and get some fish from the lake for me?"

Joe raised an eyebrow.

"Sure."

The old man was usually the one who fished. In the three months that Joe was here, he only fished twice. Whenever Joe offered to fish, several times, the old man would refuse. Although Joe thought it was odd, he didn't press for questions; the old man didn't ask much from Joe either. They still knew little about each other, even after such a long period of time.

So, Joe went to fish. He didn't bring anything but a bucket with him. He didn't need such tools.

------------------------------------

Joe was gone for about ten minutes. When he returned to the house, he noticed some visitors. There were four huge men of similar stature; they looked remarkably similar to each other, and had inhuman features. Three other men were kicking and spitting at something. One woman, standing at about 40 feet away from them, looked at her nails in a bored fashion.

Photobucket

"Damned bastard. Always looking down on us. Serves you right! Haha!"
"Let me take a piss on this idiot's face man... Hold on!"
"Goddamn he looks pathetic! Jillian and Darren did a fantastic job. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the results."

Joe realized they were toying with the old man's body.

"When you all are done here, I'm expecting the other half of the payment to be paid in full. Also, seeing as I got injured, I'm expecting even more."

The three men stopped playing with the old man's body and looked at Jillian with incredulous eyes.

"That wasn't part of the deal! We're already paying you a goddamn fortune already! And you barely got injured! We-"

Jillian cut him off.

"Well, let's leave that aside for now. It seems we have a guest. Who are you?"

Joe was now the center of attention.

"Who am I... I don't remember. That old man you just killed gave me a name, though. Joe. It's Joe. He called me that since I reminded him of his son. After a trivial fight, his wife left with his son one day. He moved to this area in the middle of nowhere since his old house contained too many memories. Sounds sorta cliche, I know... Bu-"

Jillian cut Joe off.

"I'm not here to listen to a story. If you don't want to die, I suggest you leave quickly. I'm not in the greatest of moods and I need to go to Hala. Hopefully, I'll meet some of my old friends there. Oh when I meet them..."

One of the three men spoke up.

"Wait, kill this guy too! He was friends with that piece of crap!"

This time, Joe spoke up. His voice was filled with an abnormal quality.

"Before I kill you all, can I know what compelled you to kill this man?"

All of them noticed the change. The three men jumped a bit in surprise and reflexively drew their blades.

"W-w-we killed him because he's rich as hell! The greedy idiot probably didn't tell you, but there's a huge stash of treasure in that house. Rumor has it that he was one of the Daedalos' rich folks, but for some reason, he dropped out of sight. Although he left a bunch of treasure at his estate, he brought some here. We tried to loot the house twice so far, but he's a capable fighter, despite his age. Bastard kept looking down on us, so we decided to get hired help this time. Third time's the charm, as they say!"

A light turned on in Joe's head. So that's why he sent him out to fish...

"I see. Goodbye.

In an instant, Joe closed the gap between him and the three men. Since they were standing in a row, it was convenient for him; he placed his hands at the sides of their heads and smashed them all together in one fluid motion. Their lifeless bodies fell to the ground, and Joe turned his attention to Jillian and the Darrens.

"W-"

Jillian opened her mouth to speak, but realized that Joe was not in a mood to chat. As Joe came closer to her, one of the Darrens brought down his gigantic hammer to Joe.

Joe caught it.

He caught the warhammer wielded by a monster of a man. Jillian looked at Joe in shock. She had to get out of here. This guy was trouble.

-------------------------------------------------------

The end of the fight was near. Multiple bodies of Darren were strewn across the bloody field of ruined crops. Joe had Jillian pinned down onto the ground, ready to perform the finishing blow.

"Monster..."

Jillian had tried to use her Black Widow ability on Joe, but ran into a problem: she was not able to penetrate his skin. In addition, her bladed greaves, spiked whip, and arm guards were useless as well; they shattered on contact with Joe's skin (or fists, in some cases). On the other hand, one strike from Joe was enough to pin her down.

Without saying a word, Joe pierced Jillian's neck with his hand. Then, he stood up from her body and went into the house...

---------------------------------------------

"Sorry, this is the best I can do."

Joe rested for a while after the fight. Then, after burying the old man's body and making a makeshift grave, Joe got ready to leave. The house did indeed contain many valuable items; Joe would not be able to hold it all in his suitcase. So, after obtaining some and putting it into his suitcase, he hid the rest in a better spot.

Joe wanted to stay for a bit longer, but knew that he would only feel pain if he remained. And, he now had something to do.

He remembered Jillian saying that she had friends in Hala. So, map in hand (obtained from the house), he decided to go there...

[Lucine- Outside Hala]

After visiting several pubs, Joe found out that the Aigle's Gale Guild was offering a job to explore Hala. He reasoned that Jillian was probably going to take part in this mission, and that she would participate with allies. So, Joe went to the location; he kept a good distance between himself and everyone else.

He was worried that he might stand out with his odd (but plain) clothing, but those worries were needless; Joe looked downright ordinary compared to what some of these people looked like. Many individuals caught his attention (especially Excellen), but he spent a bit too much time staring at the girl with the odd hat, quickly looking away when she looked around. She was attractive, of course, but there was something else about her.

Even though Joe's head throbbed in pain the longer he looked at her, he kept taking glances; he was being pretty obvious at this point. The thought that he should just talk to her never crossed his mind. He felt that he was on the verge of finally remembering something about his past the more he looked at her.

[Lucine - Outside Hala]

"It's breezy..."

A cold wind swept through the entrance of Hala, kicking up dust and tumbleweeds, as Excellen shivered while Miranda said something about creepy places.

Excellen looked up into the pale blue sky. Once upon a time, there was a giant floating island that took up a bit of the blue sky, but as a wise man once said, "Shit happens.", and so it did. While there might be little satellite islands still floating around hidden by the clouds, what could they do but mourn The Fall of Avira? It wasn't like there would be more Excellens falling out of the sky from the satellite islands. The giant floating island was now on the ground, making a mess with it's surroundings, like a baby with food would. The sky rained blood, and there was great devastation. Not too far from Avira itself, there was a huge, really huge mound of debris, with some trees, chairs, tables, beds - many bits and pieces of buildings. Literally anything that wasn't grounded, tied down or got pulverized by things sliding down the other side of the floating island was part of the mound's composition. Crows, vultures, scavenging animals visited the mound daily, pecking away at who knows what. It was a giant gravestone with fallen Avirian weapons sticking out like incense sticks on an altar, or a desolate battlefield like in times past, down in Aigle.

Snapping out of her daydream, Excellen blinked and looked around, her emerald green eyes reflecting her field of vision and her long hair, swaying in the wind. Her eyes swept over the entrance to Hala, mentally locking on to each individual present. It wasn't like Excellen had some sort of multi-target system that could shoot at many people at once, but it was just a side effect of Excellen's origin. Spotting a relatively plain-clothed male with a relatively heavy suitcase, Excellen wondered to herself. "It must be really fun to use that suitcase to whack people around like a sledgehammer..."

Focusing on the pair with a really, really long scabbard and the other with pink hair, Excellen was reminded of 'Pirates of the XXXXXXXX', a picture book Miranda had shown to Excellen while educating her about Aigle during her free time after The Fall, in the guild. Excellen learned what pirates are, what they did, how they talk and what kind of clothes they wore. "The long scabbard girl doesn't wear an eyepatch or have a parrot on her shoulder!", rang out loudly in Excellen's mind, but upon the sighting of the pink haired-one wielding Anil Revolvers, Excellen shifted her stance to standby ready, then eased up a few seconds later - recalling that Anil weapons were becoming widespread.

Sometimes there would be a genius in everyone, for that few seconds, even the silly Excellen. The genius in her prompted Excellen to change to maneuver warfare. A few years ago, Excellen's program was directed at withstanding an unimaginable storm of arrows, blades and magical projectiles, resulting in that very slow, bulky, heavy and walking tank Excellen, "operationally deployed" a few months ago, ironically against Avira. There was an offshoot of her program however, the MST4. With the advent of Anil weapons spreading all over Aigle, Excellen needed mobility to evade, and firepower to counterattack against Anil-armed hostiles. The MST4 was the answer to that, so opening up that crate and purging her old armor in that now missing airship...

Excellen shivered again. The MST4's parts had the same defensive properties as her old armor, but the parts were...smaller, which meant more exposure to the wind. Freeing up Excellen's body from the movement-impeding old armor and weight however, one could say this is the 'True Excellen', or an 'Assault Excellen'. Excellen's new-found mobility had firepower accompanying her, too. Her 3-barreled autocannon could be used to shoot at things up in the sky, suppress people behind cover, kill an entire squad of soldiers with a hail of High Explosive fire, amongst other things a general purpose weapon was capable of. The Claymores would simply rip anything in front of Excellen to pieces, riddled with holes or be destroyed outright the moment Excellen gets anywhere within a few meters. It was like that experimental Avirian weapon, codenamed the 'Shotgun', which was made in sparse numbers, but on a much larger scale - even capable of rapid, and salvo fire. But Excellen was less protected, which was slightly worrying considering she was almost killed by one of Jillian's girls a few months ago, in that underground compound, attempting to knife Excellen through the gaps in her old armor which was really, really big and covered a lot of skin. Also it was starting to get really breezy down there, in Aigle, which usually isn't a cold place until Avira fell and kicked up a massive dust cloud. In an attempt to warm herself up...

"Tesla Drive, boost!"

The blast of green particles knocked down the unlucky signpost of the Guild's rally point for the operation, instead. Turning around to look at the thing on the floor, Excellen began her phrase without noticing Miranda's probably-to-come bonk-with-a-scythe.

"As a wise man once said, s..."

[Malvinder Leonheart][Lucine - Selene - Grand Council Meeting Room]

"...and so as it is my opinion and those of the merchant guild that we should consider..."

Malvinder Leonheart had to resist cracking his head on his table and by the looks of the others around him, the feeling was mutual.

Three days...they had been stuck in this basted meeting for three days with no possible end in sight. The grand council of Lucine was only called into meeting when a massive threat was approaching. It was consisting of 2 halves, the military council and the civilian council.

For the past three days, the civilian council had been grating on the nerves of everyone in the room and tensions were at a sky high level. The fate of Lucine was hanging in the balance.

Calls to fight...

Calls to join Daedalos...

Calls to join Imelda...

It was never ending.

Malvin looked around at his fellow members o the military council and snorted at their expressions. Some were outright sleeping and a few were barely holding their tempers in check. Even Princess Luna was bored out of her skull!

To make matters worse, an envoy from Daedalos was here too to try and 'convince' them to join the Empire. A few months ago, he would have told her to go jump in a lake.

That's how bad the situation was right now.

"...as such, we concluded that joining Imelda would be the wisest course of action as of this moment."

Malvin smashed his hand through his half of the table startling his neighbors and shocking everyone into silence. Standing up, he walked to the center scaring the annoying bureaucrat standing there earlier. His fellow warriors hid smiles along with his Princess.

Towering over the coward, Malvin hissed into his face.

"I've said it once, I'll say it again. Joining Imelda is a death sentence! Those blasted brats will sooner have one of their men stab you in the back then welcome you happily you fool."

"Then my most trusted adviser..."

Malvin turned to look at the source of the voice but he needn't bother. He knew exactly who it was. His Princess, Luna looked at him expectantly as she continued.

"...what is your stand?"

Malvin gave her a saccharine smile: "Is it not obvious, my queen? I would rather we work together with Daedalos but that dictator empress wont bite an alliance. So I'm stuck with this: I would rather-"

[Nearly 10 Minutes Earlier][Lucine - Outside of Hala]

Outside of the walls of a city rumored to be cursed, many unknown fools now planned to enter not heeding of the horror trapped within.

On the horizon at the Eastern wall of the city, 6 figures approached, led by a man covered entirety in black.

"I cant believe that we are going here, it's cursed yo!"

"You're such a coward."

"Cool it, both of you. We have a job and it's in sight."

"I agree with my brother, this place...something is not right. Years ago, it was a bustling city, the envy of all but now only ghost remain. I don't like it one bit...."

"You nervous, old friend?"

".........."

"Be quiet before I kill all of you!"

At the man in black's growl, the others quickly shut up. No one dared to be the one who pissed of their leader, that was the fear and respect he commanded.

"The masters of Imelda have given us a job and we will get it done. If Any of you step out of line, I WILL discipline you. Is that clear?"

"YES SIR!"

As they passed a point, none of them noticed that they had tripped a hidden trap that even now sent information to the one who set it.

All around Hala similar traps were activated as the various 'guests' passed by or stepped on them....

[Lucine - Selene - Outside of Throne Room]

Several of the majors and other commanding officers of Lucine were now given the trouble some job of waiting for the results of the meeting. They were left with the odious job of guarding the room and keeping an eye on the Daedalos 'envoy'.

Suddenly, one of them stoop up abruptly. panic as his eyes seem to glaze over. he quickly spoke to one of the majors guarding the meeting chambers and the major's eyes widened as he unlocked the doors letting the man through.

[Grand Council Meeting Room]

Malvin's words were quickly downed out as the doors opened and a man quickly rushed into the room. Many of the civilian side grumbled at the man's audacity. However the military half was curious.

The man quickly rushed to Malvin and whispered into his ear, the words turning Malvin's blood to ice. He turned back to the man and whispered quickly,

Malvin: "You're sure?"

"Yes, I memorized their aura's when they were in Magnolia with you. it's no mistake."

Malvin paled as Mytogan of Magnolia stepped back. Malvin then looked at his queen with fearful eyes and spoke,

Malvin: "The runic wards around Hala have been broken."

There was utter silence. And then there was an uproar the likes of which had not been seen yet.

Malvin roared: "SILENCE!"

As the room quietened at his words, he looked at the now pale face of his queen as she stuttered to him.

Princess Luna: "H-How??"

Malvin: "As you know, Mystogan here has the ability to use runes. He was the one who set up an intruder detection system around the city of Hala to let us know if any fool gets too near....or if something tries to come out..."

Mystogan stepped forward and spoke, "I recognized some of the aura's that passed by the runes as General Malvin's companions when they visited Magnolia a few months ago. The others, I do not know.

Malvin shook his head and resisted the urge to cut something. This was bad, very very bad indeed.

"Are they insane?"

"What horrible timing..."

"Someone has to stop those fools!"

"If they find that....'thing'!"

"....then we are all doomed."

The catter in the room resounded and pounded in his ears. How...how could they be so stupid??? That city is a death trap! And those mysterious unknowns...Malvin had a really really bad feeling about them.

"I hereby declare this meting temporary on halt."

The room silenced as they looked at Princess Luna who was now staring at Malvin.

Princess Luna: "General Malvin, take what men you need. Get to Hala now and stop the intruders before they go too far. If 'that' is somehow released....you know hat to do."

Malvin and many of the senior generals nodded grimly at the meaning in those orders.

She then gestured him forward and her hands glowed slightly before speaking,

Princess Luna: "I, Queen Luna II hereby authorize the release of your final ability for this mission. I fear you will need it."

Suddenly, energy flowed through him, reminding him of his third ability. An ability that was only to be allowed to be used when unlocked.

Princess Luna: "We will hold on making our decision until your return. Take what men you need. Good luck."

Malvin: "Yes, your majesty!"

He stomped out of the room and spotted Captain no wait, its Colonel Ryuu Akumu lurking in a corner with his team.

Malvin: "Colonel, with me. Get your team ready, we are moving out now. Orders from the Princess herself. Our old friends are in terrible danger."

Within 20 minutes, Malvin and his team was saddled up and ready to ride. Wendy had found out and was joining them too.

'Please be careful, you lot...we're on our way."

[Lucine - Outside of Eastern Gate Hala]

The team of six looked on as their leader stopped at the gates. It was time.

Sabrac gestured to his team as they entered the cursed city, and so it begins...again.

OOC: Finally got my hands off from Sleeping Dogs :x

Several days ago...

[Liel Vanguard]
[Daedalos - Roland's Custom Tailor]

It has been months since Liel ever wore a suit of armor, after she decided to take a break as a mercenary and now assisting her childhood friend in his tailoring business. Of course, there are occasional harassment from the bandits, and Liel fends them off from time to time. As she was stitching a cloth inside the shop, Liel once again prickled one of her fingers and sucked it.

"Ergh, looks like years of swordsmanship has dulled me..."

Then, a messenger stepped in, with a letter in hand.

"Ms. Vanguard? You have a letter directed to you, madam. I have been informed that it's from a friend of yours."

He handed the letter to Liel, and left. She checked the letter, and realized that it has the seal of the Aigle's Gale Guild. Without hesitating, she opened the envelope and read the letter.

"As a proud Tempest of the Aigle's Gale Guild, you have been invited to a mission which promises wealthy rewards! Are you brave enough to explore the abandoned ruins of Hala in Lucine? If you do, register yourself at the Lucine branch of Aigle's Gale Guild! No gears or armors are supplied."

The letter was ended with an ink stamp of the AGG's logo. However, she noticed an additional handwriting on the lower part of the letter.

"You have to check this out. It might be related to the Fall of Avira. Maybe you'll meet some of your old companions there as well."

Liel was hesitant to join at first, but after reading the final sentence...

"Well, from a friend huh? I guess it wouldn't hurt to check a dead city..."

And thus, she once again returned to that very line of work...

[Liel Vanguard | Leila Rune]
[Lucine - Outside Hala]

After traveling to Lucine with a caravan while sporting a brand new metallic black-colored armor, Liel made her way to the dead city of Hala, with an unexpected guest beside her. They stopped just outside of the city gates. For the first time, Hala was bustling with people, mercenaries that is.

"So, this is Hala. Isn't as creepy as I thought, but... I can feel the depressing atmosphere, as if something... malicious is here." Liel said, to the young teenage girl beside her.

"Pffft! C'mon! It's just we are having a cloudy day!" the girl confidently replied back.

"Ms. Rune, I wouldn't underestimate an abandoned city such as this. It can cost you your life!" Liel stared at Leila, while replying to her previous comment with a stern tone.

"Oh, really? We'll see. If it's not for my Daedalos superior, I won't be in this lousy, boring mission just to keeping tabs on you Aigle mercenaries! Hmph!" Leila turned her face away from Liel.

"By the Gods, you sure need a serious attitude adjustment! What kind of Avirian are you anyway..." Liel gave a sigh.

After the following conversation with Leila, Liel began to look around, hoping to find some familiar faces. She noticed a couple of mercenaries stand out from the rest. One being a woman with a eye-catching hat, and the other, a plain-clothed man with a suitcase.

Then, she found Miranda, alongside with Excellen, who become less armored than before and now sports a natural brown hair. She waved at them, before approaching the two. For the first time, she actually felt happy meeting her old companions. Leila quickly tagged behind Liel as she made her way to Miranda.

"As a wise man once said, s..."

"S**t happens." Liel completed Excellen's following sentence, after she accidentally knocked down a signpost meant to guide the mercenaries to the starting point of the mission. After that, she gave a wide smile to Miranda.

"Good to have see you again Miranda!" She turned back to Excellen. "And as for you Excellen, apparently you wear lesser armor than before..."

As for Leila, she only paid attention to the armored Avirian. Looking at her curiously, she spoke to Excellen.

"You, are an Avirian." Leila approached to her, before taking some sniffs. "And, you reek of Anil."

Liel stared at the teenager, and Leila knows what she meant.

"Apologies, Leila Rune, from the fallen Avira." Leila bowed.

"By the way, did you sent me this invitation letter...?"

Liel takes out the letter regarding the mission in Hala, and showed it to Miranda.
