Plot: It has been 10 years since the newly graduates went their separate ways. There had been little to no detail among them. Noctis,now the head professor at their old academy which he rebuilt, watches from his seat silently. As the years passed by without incident,there came a group of people claiming to have the power to defeat magic and provide people with equality. They brought the power of 'steam' to their world. Slowly and surely the students at the academy dwindling because there had been less demand for swordsmen and magicians and a demand for gunners arose. A few years later, the academy closed due to lack of students. Noctis watched from the sidelines as the Izzet Guild,those who were responsible for bringing steam into their continent, slowly but surely took over positions of high power.Then Noctis received a letter from his old comrade Shiroyuki saying that they needed to see each other and that he should treat this as a matter of great urgency,that he should proceed with all caution while going to the meeting place. Noctis then decided it was about time to get rid of the dust from his swords one last time. Name: Fenris "Stormcaller" Clef, the Tempest That Walks Age: 39 Weapons: Mjollnir: A large hammer that is considerably heavier than it looks.The Mjollnir was created from a metal of a fallen meteorite and it glows with inner energy. Aegis: Shield made from the same meteorite as Mjollnir and it shares the same properties as Mjollnir. The weapons Fenris carries are old, but no one has been able to find out just how old... Personality: He shows a great amounf of restraint in showing his negative emotions, such as hate and anger, but is very forthcoming on the more positive emotions. In battle he fights with honor and tends to face his enemies head on, but can and will deploy other strategies should the situation warrant them. Bio: During their journey in the North, Fenris and Vivian grew close. Eventually, their relationship blossomed into a romance, and they are now married. He is the current head of the Clef family and considered the strongest knight in the west. Appearance: Abilities: Acute Senses: Fenris' senses are as sharp as those of the wolves of the North, except for his sense of smell. Titanic Might: Though he doesn't look like it Fenris is one of the physically strongest people in the world, though he is reluctant to use his strenght at it's fullest. the Tempest That Walks: A titlesignifying his ability to use three different elemental magic: Ice, Wind and Lightning. Stormcaller: When Fenris summoned his first storm as a Stormcaller he was also imbued with all the powers that Stormcallers control, these powers, except for Fury of the Wolf Spirits, can be used by everyone possesing the right elemental combinations for them, but when used by Stormcallers the power is enhanced. The powers are: Fury of the Wolf Spirits : Non-elemental magic that summons the familiar wolf spirits of the caster into the real world. These spirits have an intelligence of their own and aren't hindered by physical obstacles. Being the lord of Stormcallers Fenris possesses a total of 13 wolf spirits. Living Lightning: Lightning magic that calls down a random amount of lightning bolts (from 2 to 6) that seek out the targer that has been pointed out. Murderous Hurricane: Wind Magic that whips up winds into a hurricane, the hurricane can then be controlled. The hurricane moves slowly, but causes immense damage if you are caught in it. Jaws of the World Wolf: Ice magic that summons a field of ice thorns into the area desired. After grwoing into their full height (around waist high) the ice shatters sending uncountable amount of razor sharp ice-shards into the air. Thunderclap: Combination of Wind and Lightning magic that uses wind to funnel the sound of thunder into a deafening and possibly devastating short-ranged blast. Storm Caller: Combination of Ice and Wind magic that allows the user to assume control of any natural or magical storm in the vicinity. Tempest's Wrath: Combination of Ice and Lightning magic summons a hail storm that has been imbued with lightning causing them to burst on the first thing they hit releasing a small shock and some small ice shards. Single burst can't deal any damage, but the number of hits this magic can deal is unbelievable and the hits compound causing each successive hit to same target enhance the effect. -------------------- Name: Garrett Clef Age: 16 Weapon: Mournsky, sword forged for Garrett by his father. The only people capable of properly wielding it are those related by blood to Garrett. The blade of the sword is reminiscent of midnight sky with crimson stars and silver runes. The handle is made from mithril and wrapped in leather treated to appear black. Abilities: Shooting Star: Garrett has inherited his father's physical abilities, but rather than being focused on strength his physique is built for speed he is faster and quicker to react than most, but his strength isn't anything spectacular. He also has inherited the senses of his father. Soul of Blades: A master of handling most bladed weapons Garrett is capable of holding his own even against his own father. Though his preferred weapon is the sword Mournsky. Heart of the Storm: Focused magical studies in using magic to improve his natural abilities and channeling magic to his weapons Garrett has some trouble projecting magic for any meaningful distance. He has focused on lightning and wind magic and has some training in ice magic as well. Spirit of the Wild: Garrett has a fox spirit as a familiar, that is unhindered by physical obstacles. He is also able to fuse himself with the spirit, this fusion results in a fox that has physical form and is fully in Garrett's control. Personality: Garrett is rather optimistic person, but sometimes acts before thinking. In general he is relaxed and sociable, but doesn't take kindly to threats against his friends and family. Joining in as well, I still need to complete another profile for a "new" character but here's Vivian's profile in the meantime (Updated as necessary of course, since a lot of updating had to be done XD). Name: Vivian Clef Age: 32 Weapon: Magic, utilizing her spell book, The Picasso. Abilities: - Magic: Illusional, which combines a bit of all elements. At first she only had knowledge over Ice Illusional magic, but today she has a good control on all types of the magic and is in the process of learning the hardest and most powerful types of Illusion magic, Time and Space, although she can hardly ever use them since they require a large amount of magical energy. However, she can still use most other types of Illusion magic since they don't require as much energy (Illusion magic doesn't require much magical energy in the first place since it is made up of illusions and the majority of it doesn't have to become physical matter. Space and Time are the exceptions because they have to quite literally bend the rules of reality on whatever it is being used upon). - Illusion Master: She inherited the book "The Picasso" from her father, and thus this marked her as being an Illusion Master. Picasso is bound to her since she is the latest Illusion Master, and she can use any spell that she learns from the book. Despite these advantages from being an Illusion Master, there is one big drawback: Learning a spell that is not in the book is difficult for her. Also, the spells in Picasso are only spells that relate to illusions. - Over the years, Vivian has learned how to levitate objects trough Gravitational magic, although currently she can only levitate an average-sized person (Or multiple objects that altogether would have the weight of an average-sized person) due to the depletion of mana. - Knowledge: She is very intelligent, having both practical world knowledge as well as academic knowledge. She can tell when someone is lying. Personality: Vivian is loving and caring towards her friends, but wary of strangers upon first meeting them. She is also very intelligent, observant, and determined. Picture: Bio: Many years ago, Vivian was a teenager who didn't know much of the world. She went to the academy, but like the others she had to leave due to a crisis. After she left the academy, Vivian became very close to Fenris. Eventually, their relationship blossomed into a romance, and they married each other. However, shortly after their marriage, Vivian found out she was pregnant. In order not to disgrace her family, Vivian and Fenris fled from her home in the West to the North. After almost eight months, the two made it to the Fang just in time, and Vivian had given birth to twins, Garrett and Cecelia. As the twins grew up, Vivian practiced her magic on a regular basis in order to try to learn all of the spells in her spell book, the Picasso, but she also took on a more motherly role for the twins, teaching them both academics and Illusion magic. By the time Garrett and Cecelia were 15, Vivian had 5 more children, Charlene and Lance (8, Twins), Margo and Amara (Twins, 4), and Theodore (2). Name: Cecelia Clef Age: 16 Weapon: Magic just like her mother, however unlike her mother she uses it more offensively. Cecelia is also skilled in swordsmanship, but she does not rely very heavily on it. Abilities: - Magic: Illusional, which combines a bit of all elements. Since Cecelia is still a rookie, she only has a good handle over Ice and Wind Illusion magic. - Junior Illusion Master: Cecelia has been trained in the ways of Illusion magic from her mother and has been deemed the next Illusion Master. However, due to the young age at which Vivian had Cecelia, Vivian is still young enough to be considered in "fighting condition" and as such is still the current Illusion Master. Cecelia is now the Junior Illusion Master, which has its own benefits and drawbacks. She can read from the Picasso, however she cannot perform the more difficult spells within the book. On the positive side, she can still easily learn spells that are not in the book. - Call of the Raven Spirit: Cecelia can summon and communicate with spiritual familiars which have their own intelligence and aren't hindered by physical objects. Cecelia has a total of 13 raven spirits. - Swordsmanship: Cecelia is skilled in swordsmanship and is able to hold her own in most battles, although her skills are nowhere near the extent of of her father and her twin brother, Garrett. Personality: Like her mother was at her age, Cecelia is quiet and shy, only known as a sociable person to her family. However, she does have a confidence about her that comes from her father, and is not afraid to step into a situation for something she believes in. Picture/Description: Bio: One of the seven pure-blooded clan members in over 5000 years, Cecelia was born with her twin brother Garrett at the Fang and spent much of her infancy there. When she was 1 and a half years old, her parents Fenris and Vivian took her and Garrett to the West, back to the mansion where Vivian grew up to raise Garrett and Cecelia in a better environment. Once there, Cecelia and Garrett lived life as normal children would, with Fenris teaching them in combat skills and Vivian teaching them in academics and Illusional magic. Cecelia has 6 siblings, but naturally the one that she is the closest to and the single person who she has the strongest bond with is her twin Garrett. She looks up to her parents after she learned the tale of their days of when they were her age, and due to their own life-changing adventure they were willing to let Cecelia go on an adventure of her own so long as she looked after and stayed with Garrett, and vice-versa. |

Not sure how this will turn out nowadays, but I'm in so long as others seem up for it. I meant to have this done earlier today, but I had to spend like an hour trying to track down the character picture I had in mind on the anime character database site. I must have saved the thumbnail sized picture last time when I was scrolling through the "Random" option, so I didn't have a name, anime or artist to go on this time. >.> I don't think I'll be using Vincent or Anke at all except for maybe cameos. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Julia Vinland Age: 19 Weapon: Katanas, Vajra (Made of bone. Belonged to Anke Faustus. It's more of a charm that aids in magic rather than a traditional weapon.) Abilities: Vinland Crest (Physical Trait) - Julia is a skilled swordswoman capable of holding her own against almost any weapon based fighting style. She acquired her skills under nearly the same circumstances that Vincent did but with a few minor differences, the biggest of which being that Julia has recieved much more direct and formal training from a younger age than Vincent did. This means that her fighting style is more refined than her father's, but due to her lack of real-world experience it is also less adaptive and easier to predict. Her thin frame requires her version of the Vinland fighting style to focus more on evasion and making multiple quick cuts as opposed to heavy gashes and blocking. Shadow Blades - A small Dark energy shockwave launched from either sword. The wave will fly in whatever angle the length of the blade is pointing when the attack is launched (A sweeping swing of the sword would cause the wave to fly out horizontally for example). Wind Magic - Taught to her by her father. Vincent taught her a few uses for it, but the only one Julia uses at the moment is to use the wind to carry her swords back to her if separated from them. Necromancy - Taught to her by her mother, Anke. Due to the weakening of magic, the most that Julia can do with her Necromancy is to move a dead body for a few minutes. She can force the body in question to rise up and walk, but everything else is essentially out of the question. It's only pracitcal use is as a distraction. Medical knowledge - Taught to her by her mother, Anke. Julia can treat most kinds of wounds and carry out some minor surgery if necessary. Personality: Very cautious due to living a secluded life. She acts naive when meeting new people to lure them into dropping their guard so she can try and discern their true nature. She is very polite and well-spoken to people she knows well. She hides her feminine traits while traveling alone by binding her chest, keeping her hair short and speaking in a lower tone. Both her mother and father agreed that it would be safer for her if she drew as little attention as possible, namely from bandits. Her choice of fashion (dress pants, a full length shirt and slip-on shoes) partly plays into this, but was also heavily influenced by her father's similar style. Picture/Description: Bio: Adopted daughter of Vincent Vinland and Anke Faustus. Vincent and Anke adopted Julia when she was 4 years old, shortly before going into hiding together. She has no recollection of her blood relatives or parents and does not possess anything that could offer clues to who they are. This does not bother her in the slightest however, as she views both Anke and Vincent as her real parents. Vincent and Anke have been uneasy about traveling long distances for certain reasons, so Julia has been largely separated from others. She started traveling on her own a few months ago after Anke encouraged her to see the world and after Vincent relented on his oposition to the idea. Anke convinced Vincent to allow Julia to leave by pointing out that Julia's skills would keep her safe. Finals are approaching, so my posts might be irregular (or not XD). May subject to editing. Character Sheet Name: Seiren Age: 22 Gender: F Weapon: Knives and daggers. Her current weapon is an unnamed knife, which has seen numerous battles. It has a distinctive mahogany wood as its handle. Proficient in unarmed battle as well. Abilities I. Darkness Proficiency - Seiren has learned several branches of magic from the Academy, and she is most proficient at handling darkness and shadow related magics. However, with the arrival of steam technology and the degeneration of the mana pool, the strength of her magic was greatly reduced to the point that it is only able to support her agility and speed. -> Shadow Step A variant from Noctis' Flash Step. A very quick dash within a short distance. When Seiren uses this ability, it would appear that she has teleported. -> Air Hike By focusing a concentrated darkness energy beneath her feet, Seiren can perform a second jump while she was in the air, or from her first jump to higher positions, or simply starting an air raid. II. Agility Focused - On her physical traits, Seiren mostly trained on her speed and agility rather than her strength, but that does not mean she is not incompetent on taking enemies hand to hand. She also occasionally relies on wind magic as well. -> Wind Shift By using wind magic, Seiren can be perform various agile movements and maneuvers with relative ease, such as wallrunning or landing from a jump from an extreme height or performing an air dash. -> Acrobat Seiren has a knack for performing backflips and cartwheels, either to dodge enemy attacks in style, or just to get somewhere. This skill is further improved with Wind Shift. Personality: Apathetic to almost everything, even to human lives, except her own survival and her revenge. Does not take a second thought to kill her enemy. Seiren did show her human side, but that is few and far between. Appearance: [Show] Bio Seiren was rumored that she is from a family of assassins and killers, but she simply dismiss it. Seiren attended the Academy, which is an institution that provides teaching and knowledge about magic widely used throughout the continents. She was the last graduate before the Academy closed from further accepting new students. Shortly after when Seiren found her family mysteriously disappeared, she became a soldier of fortune for underground organizations, doing a few jobs here and there for a living. Then on one faithful day, Seiren met Noctis Caelum during a job, and he is the target of assassination. She would never expect that someone wants the head professor of the Academy dead. Seiren continued her job as usual, and a battle broke out between them. Of course, Noctis won, but Seiren held herself from going full force. From there, he told her everything. The events in the Academy, their escape from manhunts along with several others and more that has transpired for the last 15 years ago, before telling her to quit as a hired killer and perhaps join him to his cause. Seiren reluctantly agreed, realizing she could use more knowledge about magic as its power steadily declined over the years and training. In the end, Seiren returned to the Academy, as the Izzet Guild slowly wraps its hands on the continents... |

It's finished ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Name : Raina Aimiliana Rosamund Age : 25 Weapon : - Brunhild, a shape-shifting titanium gattling gun with 100 ammo. It can change shape to a shotgun, with lesser ammo of 7 and powerful close attack (like a shotgun should be). It takes 3 seconds to shape-shift. - Clotild, a grenade launcher with a wide variety of shells. It can shoot a grenade shell up to 100 meters forward. Ability: - Fire Affinity : Raina is born under the sign of fire, thus she is able to execute fire-based magic spell, but she only mastered weaker level spells-no wide area magic spell-. This ability doesn't render Raina invulnerable to enemy fire-based attack and spells. - Gunmanship Artillery: This ability covers all the abilities of Raina's Brunhild and Clotild : 1. Raina can use elemental bullets as ammunition for Brunhild and Clotild. Fire bullets, burn object(s) at contact, or leave a burn wound on living creatures. Ice bullets will leave frostbite effect. Poison bullets can inflict poison. The same goes to Clotild's elemental shells. 2. [Jetstream] In shotgun mode, Brunhild can shoot all of its loaded ammo at the same time, covering a wide area of attack. This ability will also cause bleeding to enemy it hits. The ammo can be varies in element and power. Raina can only use [Jetstream] once in day and will leave Brunhild disabled for 3 hours due to overheating. 3. [Earthrend] By focusing her maximum strength, Raina can use her Clotild as a hammer to smash the ground. Then she can shoot Clotild's shell to cause explosion at the area. Elemental effects from shell also applies to enemy who get caught in the explosion. - Engineering: Raina is moderately skilled at engineering, for example she can build a simple steampunk automaton (in half size of a human teenager)to be used as decoy. Personality : Calm and collected, but she can be livelier at times. She won't open up herself except for her close acquaintance. She won't take any unnecessary actions that will put her and her comrades in danger. She relies on trust, and she won't give hers to someone who doesn't reserve it. Appearance : Bio : Raina is a traveling mercenary from the Western part of the Lay of The Land. Before she met Louise, she was one of the remarkable mercenaries that often hired by the Senate to get rid of criminals alike. But little she knew that she was misused by the corrupt part of Senate to kill many innocent people that stood in their way. In the end she was blinded by money, and would do anything for it. In one of her mission three years ago, she met Louise, who defend the civilians that is going to be annihilated by her mission. She had ultimately lost by Louise, and was driven back to the righteousness. Raina and Louise are now mercenaries comrade, traveling throughout the world with their own goal in mind. But they won't give their service for the corrupted, injustice people and companies, especially the Senate. -Raina wasn't qualified to enter the Academy, and because of that she explored her talent in steam engineering deeper. She joined Izzet Guild, and after gaining enough knowledge about steam technology, she resigned from the guild because of their principal mismatched hers. After that she started her life as a mercenary. Raina was a daughter of one of the people who brought steam technology to the world. Because of that, she had some knowledge of steam technology from his father blueprints, journal, books alike. When she was 21, her father disappeared without leaving any trace mysteriously, and all of his journals, books, notes had been taken by the Guild. This led her to distrust the Guild. Her goal is now to master the knowledge of steam technology, bests those of Izzet Guild, and to find the truth of her disappeared father. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Name : Louise Milicente Age : 24 Weapon : -Godwyn : A longsword forged from mythril that has been enchanted with magic arts, allowing Louise to link her magic spell power and ability to it. Abilities : - Soul Breaker : Her own sword-fighting style, matches with Louise physical traits that is more focused on strength. This ability is best suited with longswords, but is not limited to shortswords or broadswords. Covers some skills. 1. [Bold Shot] Using such amount of strength, Louise lunges forward at her target to skewer them with her sword (or swords). The attack range is 5 meters. If it miss, it will shot a wind aura that travels 4 meters forward. This can be used as ranged attack. However, this skill will exhaust stamina quickly. 2. [Parry]. Louise can use the sword to block physical attack as long as the attack is in her sight. The weapon can repel the impact from enemy attack by half of its original power, often pushing enemies away. This ability doesn't apply to magical attacks and magic projectiles. However, parrying will cause damage to the weapon, reducing its sharpness and power. Further usage may break it. The effectiveness of those abilities will arise if Louise uses Godwyn. - Ethereal Magick : Louise is an adept at Ethereal magick, however because of the depleted mana state, Louise can oly perform two kinds of magic spell. These Ethereal magick can also be applied to Godwyn. 1. [Copy], create an ethereal copy of herself that has 80% of her strength power. This copy cannot use [Bold Shot] and Ethereal Spell, but it can use [Parry]. When this magic is applied to Godwyn, an ethereal version of Godwyn will appear to be used by Louise as dual wield weapon together with the original. This copy of Godwyn shares 80% of the original's power, and will break if used to execute [Bold Shot] and [Parry] 2. [Dual Flash], by using mana, Louise can execute two consecutive attacks together with her ethereal copy. The copy can immediately takes its form, executing attack after or before Louise's. When this magic is applied to Godwyn, an ethereal version of Godwyn will appear, floating beside Louise. This copy of Godwyn will mimic any attack the original Godwyn executed (also with 80% power of the original). Louise cannot summon more than two copies of Godwyn at the same time. Summoning copies of herself or Godwyn will depletes Louise's mana and accumulates physical strain on Louise. - Crafting : Louise has intermediate skill at crafting weapons. She can forge any kind of swords, knuckle dusters, axes, and spears. However she isn't experienced enough to forge a weapon with higher materials like gold, platinum, titanium, mithril, adamantium, and diamonds. Appearance : Bio : Louise is a traveling mercenary from the Western part of The Lay of The World. Before she met Raina, she was a noble knight, serving for the Senate and The King. But after the incident that took her parents life, she stopped being a knight and turned her back from the Senate. She defended all the civilians that was caught in the middle of corrupt Senate's conspiracies. After she met Raina and confronted her, she decided to find the one who responsible for her parents death now that she had a trustworthy comrade, that is Raina. Same as Raina, she won't give their service for the corrupted, injustice people and companies, especially the government. - Louise's mother was former magic user graduated from The Academy, while her father was renowned blacksmith known for his talent. They worked for the Senate, but since the introduction of steam technology, her parents was discriminated and discredited. An incident took place, resulted in her parents' death. This incident was concealed from public, and Louise left alone with unbearable heartbreak. This is her goal of her journey together with Raina, to find the truth of the incident. Louise was taught to use Ethereal Magick by her mother, Eleana, but Louise's skill is nowhere compared to her mother. Her swordmanship and crafting skill were taught by her father, Steiner, who was a noble knight for the Senate and The King. Her sword-fighting style, [Soul Breaker] derived from her father techniques. Godwyn was a creation of Steiner, imbued with the magick of her mother, Eleana. |

this is quite unexpected indeed, anyhow... reserving a spot EDIT Name: Kain Marvenox Age: 30 Weapon: Throwing Knives - Magic Sealing Kain's unique magic is to seal other's magical abilities. The seal itself varies, it may be a permanent seal that weakens the magic to a certain degree and only Kaine is able to remove the seal, a semi-permanent seal that may be unlocked if certain conditions were met, and a seal that stopped the magic altogether but only last for a short time (half an hour). The ability itself requires Kain to directly grab the opponent's neck and forehead. - Dirty Fighter Kain isn't quite strong in terms of physical strength, he makes it up with his dirty tricks, one such common trick used in his fights are to throw some dusts to his opponent's eyes temporarily blinding them or landing a groin shot. - Wind Magics Kain also knows how to use wind magics, allowing him to be more agile and harder to hit. Personality: Kain is laid back, mostly avoiding conflicts, often lamented on things when it doesn't come in his favor. Picture/Description: Bio: Known throughout the land as the Magic Sealer, Kain often challenged by many mages, though Kain often refuses to fight as he prefers not to fight, unless he is forced to fight he is often came out as the winner. Kain also attended the academy. He is one of the last graduates before the academy closed down, he traveled throughout the land seeking knowledge in magics. He is also often contacted by Izzet Guild to join their cause, which often answered with a no by Kain. Kain is also responsible for sealing Rasstier's magic. |

Guess I'll jump on in too, hehehe. Tell me if anything needs to be changed. EDIT: Added a character - won't appear immediately however. Again, tell if need change. @ Emiya - Yeah I know they're the same archetype. Though I did have this character written down way before though, just going to put it to use since it's already written :P Name: Rasstier "Tier" Messana Age: 35 Weapon: Black Claw A Charcoal Metal Set of Clawed Gauntlets. The clawed portions are sized and shaped so that normal fist fighting is still possible. Abilities: 1) Predatorial Pulgism [Elite Rank] - The user is skilled in fist fighting. The Predatorial Variation stressed pressuring and striking the opponent into submission, it also favored critical finishing strikes by using clawed gloves. The user developed the strength, nubility, and stamina required for this particular style of fighting. Being able to carry with a sustained pressure attack for more than 50 seconds is a hallmark of the elite leveled practitioners. 2) Air Pressure Orb - An Air Magic Based Skill where air is compressed and kept for a short period of time. The detonation of the orb causes a blast of air to radiate at the user's discretion. The blast of air has enough strength to break through solid wood, but exponentially loses power after extremely close ranges. Air pressure orbs can also be utilized as projectiles, detonating once they come into contact with something. The projectile method has a medium range, as the orb would automatically detonate once it exits the medium range perimeter. 3) Flare Out - A small flare radiates around the user. Though harmless except at immediate ranges, anyone looking directly at the user will likely find themselves temporarily blinded by the brilliant shine. This skill can be combined with the "Air Pressure Orb" skill allow the skill to achieve close range offensive ability. Has a 1 minute recharge period. 4) Point and Blast - An Earthen based skill in which the user can invoke a temporary magnetic quality into earth materials. The user simply must point at an object, causing a very small area to violently come apart, creating a shrapnel threat to anyone nearby. This skill can be combined with the "Air Pressure Orb" skill's projectile quality to allow for an increase to the range and speed of the shrapnel when timed correctly. Requires a 30 Second recharge period. Furthermore the strength of the shrapnel is dependent on the material the skill is invoked upon (Wet Dirt being useless whilst Rock can be dangerous) 5) Impact Splash - A Water magic based skill where strikes from the user has an added effect of "striking water", by instantaneously forming water right before impact. Has double effect of softening the stresses on the user related to striking an opponent, as well as increasing the power of melee strikes. If effectively timed with the Air Pressure Orb, the user is capable of landing devastating hits on an opponent. Personality: A somewhat single minded person. He set his goals in life at a young age and dedicated himself to achieving them. So for the most part, he'll tune out most anything else unrelated. Despite this, he also seems to rush to wherever there seems to be trouble. As a carryover from youth, he is always looking to prove himself stronger than others. He has also happened to have also helped all sorts of people along the way. Picture/Description: Bio: In his youth, he was a naturally gifted mage. He was adept in the 4 main elements and was able to cast fantastic and powerful magics. He would often challenge anyone to prove that he was the strongest person in the world. It was not long until Rasstier challenged the wrong person. This person had a skill that sealed people's magical ability. By the time he had realized it, he was too late. The outmaneuvered young wizard had a vast majority of his magic power sealed away, and was publicly humiliated by the loss. Rasstier was eventually consumed with trying to defeat the person to get back his honor. He would spend years learning how to cope with his now less powerful magic. Eventually he came upon using Martial Arts in conjunction with his magic to make up for his weaker powers. Rasstier now seeks to once again challenge the person who defeated him. Name: Melodia “Mel†Austere Age: 24 Weapon: Throw Daggers - Iron Daggers of disposable quality that can be deadly throwing weapons in the hands of an experienced user. Assassins have a secret art that allows them to carry what seems to be an infinitesimal amount of these weapons. Heirloom Tanto - An old but proven short sword that is designed to be easily hidden. The blade features cryptic markings that can only be deciphered by a select few. Abilities: 1) Assassin of the Hamlet - The user was brought up in the Hamlet of the Assassins, a community that produces individuals capable of espionage. By tradition, this Hamlet preferred the use of ranged weapons in eliminating targets. This upbringing stressed the user having capabilities in stealth, agility, and speed. Taking full advantage of any openings an enemy might have. The strict practices of the Hamlet, along with the fact that this user was mostly lost to anything espionage related aside from engaging in combat, gives the user a reduced cooldown time for their skills compared to normal. 2) Blink - A secretive art that almost instantaneously propels the user in one direction. It is fast enough for the user to dodge an attacking opponent, even if the hit landing on them seems inevitable. It is believed to be based upon principles of Time and Wind Magic. Traditionally, Blink was capable allowing someone to traverse between rooftops of buildings on this skill alone. However, possibly due to the decline of mana in the world, the effective ranges on Blink are much more reduced to between close and medium ranges. Even in its current state, it is still a very capable tool for tactical maneuvering. 20 Second cooldown period. 3) Fatal Strike - A skill which takes advantage of openings in an opponent's fighting style. The user is capable of dealing a blindingly fast blow against an opponent, even if the window of the opening is minute. A successful strike will typically land a clean hit or potentially disarm a foe. The skill is built on some of the same principles of Blink, except multiplied several times in magnitude. However, this skill cannot be used immediately; the user has to have fought against, or has seen the opponent fighting beforehand. A prolonged fight against a new opponent gives the user more time to find the necessary openings. 45 Second cooldown Period. 4) Explosion Glyph - The user is capable of putting down a small explosive glyph that can explode at their discretion. At their skill level the explosions themselves are typically more spectacular than fatal, usually creating a smoke cover that can limit the opponent's vision temporarily. The loud pop might also serve to temporarily disorient a foe if correctly aimed. This type of skill was primarily utilized by Spies for demolition and sabotage. However, this user has found that they can also utilize the glyphs with throw daggers to create explosive daggers. The dagger itself is obliterated at the point of impact, so the damage inflicted by this method is negligible. The force of the blast is potentially capable of knocking an opponent off balance. 10 Second recharge period, a max of 3 dormant glyphs can be present at a time. 5) Steam Grenade - Utilizing an advanced prototype Steam Container, the user can douse an opponent with searing hot steam. It proves to be a painful irritant against armored opponents, and debilitating when used against unarmored opponents caught off guard. True to its name, the grenade can be lobbed at an opponent resulting in similar effects along with deadly shrapnel from the container that can shred through contemporary armor like paper. The user is only capable of carrying one such item on them at a time. As such, it is worth noting that along with detonating the grenade, releasing the steam will empty the container, making this a once per battle implement. The 'dousing' method has a very short effective range. Personality: Despite her shady job, in reality Melodia is unlike most of her peers in that she's much friendlier than the rest. Her instructors noted that she lacked the temperament to murder on command. Despite this, she has had to take the lives of others in order to save people she was tasked to protect. Though she's started to become somewhat of a dreaded topic amongst spying rings and mercenaries, in person she comes off as looking really incompetent and inexperienced. Though their assumptions will oftentimes find themselves quickly overturned when something really does happen. Picture/Description: Bio: A Counter-Agent from the Hamlet of the Assassins. She helps get fellow agents out of a pinch with her combat prowess. When she was young, Melodia was inspired by Rasstier, a young man who everyone else shunned for being physically weak - unfit to become an assassin of any worth. Though he couldn't do what most of the other Spy Pages his age could, he was able to defeat them in battle using his own strength in Magic. This inspired Melodia to focus on what she herself was talented at, rather than stressing over being good at everything. Though she failed as a regular assassin, she proved to be a valuable bodyguard. Melodia has foiled dozens of assassination attempts, and is also believed to have saved many of her fellow agents from being captured and executed. Certainly, however, her actions has left her with an accountable amount of blood on her own hands - such as the blood of various guild fighters and opposing agents she had to put down to achieve her objectives. Melodia's risky and occasionally bloody rescues has garnered her a sort of black reputation amongst hired blades - though senators have personally requested her protection when they've felt threatened thanks to her reliable service record. While, her role-model Rasstier may not be the undefeated all powerful mage he once was, his dogged dedication to his goals continues to be a source of encouragement for her endeavors. |

Everybody please finalize yer Characters and those who still want to join please do so. I think I'll leave most of the plot out for now so you guys dunno whats gonna happen LOL. I'll start this around monday/tuesday this coming week. _________________________________________________________________________________ [Noctis Lucis Caelum|Head Masters office|Academy|Around 6am] Noctis sat behind the headmasters desk and was filling out some forms here and there and was looking forward to another dreary day.As the candle he was using was slowly melting,he worked silently with only the sound of his quill scratching the paper.The minutes passed into hours and finally when the candle went out,the sun was slowly rising and the birds were once again chirping. Noctis put the quill down and leaned back on his chair and closed his eyes for a few minutes.Then a knock came from the door. "Professor? Are you still in there?" The voice coming from the other side of the thick wooden doors,muffling it a bit. "Yes,Yes. I am still in here. Come in." Noctis said as he opened his tired eyes.The door opened and one of his few remaining students entered.He closed the door and bowed to Noctis. "Raise your head. What do you need of me at this early hour?" Noctis said as he stood up and looked outside the window to see the campus. He saw the tree in which Him and one of his old friends sparred on the morning of their graduation.He closed his eyes momentarily to try and get the sensation back but he failed at it. "Professor,I came here to give you the daily report and I have some mail for you." the student said as he went to the desk and deposited the papers. "You want some coffee,Professor?" the student asked as he stood there. "...Yes yes,Please bring me coffee." Noctis said as he looked back at the student. "At once,Professor." the student said as he bowed and left the room.Noctis sat at the table once again and looked at the papers the student delievered. "..why do I even bother with meetings..I dont even have enough students to keep this school running for the rest of the year." Noctis said to nobody in particular.Then one envelope caught his eye.As he picked it up,the envelope had a strange texture to it,yet it was familiar to his hand.He flipped the envelope to look at the sender but the only words there were "Noctis" Intrigued he flipped the envelope back and opened the letter.The paper inside was silvery to a point where it was translucent.As he took the paper out and opened the paper he saw there was no writing,front and back.He examined the paper a little bit more and tried a few spells to detect hidden messages but nothing. He was about to throw it away when he saw the candle.Then he remembered what one of his old comrades said before they parted. "..There are some secrets that only fire can tell." He stared at the burnt out candle a bit and decided to try it. He stood up and started to gather magic on his right hand and held the paper on his left hand.As he opened his right hand blue flames came out and he held the paper in the blue flames and waited for a few seconds before putting out the fire in his palm. He looked intently at the paper but nothing.He sighed was was about to crumble the paper when letters started to appear.He sat down again and slowly read the letter and waited for his student to come back. |

"But it was quite the ride." Fenris stated, standing next to Vivian with all of their children holding onto him in some way except for Garrett and Cecelia, along with Theodore, who was still too young that Vivian had to hold him. "It was an incredible adventure," Vivian added, "And, as much as it saddens me for you to leave the flock, you need to go on your own adventure too. Do you have everything? Food, water, clothes, weapons? Oh Cecelia I hope you'll make use of the spells I transcribed for you from the Picasso!" "I will, Mom," Cecelia said, pulling out the small hardcover book from her bag. Compared to her mother's actual copy, her smaller one was only a third of the size, if that. "Well, we should say our good-byes now," Fenris said, motioning to the rising sun, "You can probably get a decent amount of traveling done by lunchtime today if you two head out now." "Yes, your father is right," Vivian said in agreement as she stepped forward, "Good bye Cecelia, Garrett. If you have any trouble then don't be afraid to contact us by any means necessary, but I'm sure you two can handle whatever comes your way. Have fun, and good luck!" "Bye Mom," Cecelia said, stepping forward and giving her mom a hug, while Garrett hugged Fenris before the two switched places, "And bye Dad." Cecelia made sure to hug her younger siblings as well before she and Garrett took a few steps back and, with a look at each other, waved one final time before they headed off on their own into the adventure that was in store for them, whatever it may be. |

(I edited my character post to include something about Vincent and Anke for anyone who might be curious as to what happened to them.) [Roads - Intersection] "This cannot be right. I should be further north than this." Julia had been stopped at an intersection on the roads for the past few minutes, mumbling to herself. She was attempting to make sense of a map that she had obtained in one of the villages, but was having a difficult time getting her bearings. 'Perhaps I should have gone straight to Auntie Clef's mansion as mother suggested instead of wandering through the South for so long. Why must mother and father always give opposing suggestions? I never know which advice to take.' She looked up from the map to see a small group approaching from one of the roads. She quickly checked to make sure that her cloak was covering her body and that it left the swords on her hip visible. Until she was sure of who the group consisted of, she wanted to make sure that her gender remained as difficult to discern as possible. Julia stepped aside as they started to pass by. There were two bodyguards in position around what appeared to be a few merchants. Having had a good look at the group and seeing that they were harmless, she went back to studying her map. 'I cannot keep wasting time trying to figure this out. I have to find a safe place to rest before nightfall, as well as hopefully finding someone who can set me on the proper path to Ivalice or the Clef estate. At least I can be sure of my location in either of those places.' |

(Sort of a side escapade to give some of the characters a reason to meet. I still haven't read up on everything from the previous threads so go ahead and tell me if I'm violating the continuity or something.) [Rasstier Messana] [Somewhere... Bandit Rider's Den] "Well, if it ain't a pretty boy noble. You sure must've traveled pretty far to come all the way to our hideout. Now get lost, this loot is ours! We aren’t giving it back just because you went to the trouble of finding us!" The bandit spat on the ground towards a man with golden hair. Standing in the middle of a bandit den surrounded by outlaws - some of them where mounted on the land's Battle Wolves, known as 'Fenrir', the man calmly stated his purpose for being there. "I asked if you all could challenge me. However, all of you had left before I got my answer." The bandit scratched his head, vaguely remembering some foolish noble who outright challenged him to a duel in the middle of a raid. Certainly, he remembered leaving the said fool in a trail of dust soon afterward. The person standing before him was none other than the same man. "What the hell? You were serious about that? I though you just lost your marbles from having your village burned down before you." The situationally apathetic man responded back firmly. "My offer still stands." Everyone aside from the over-his-head noble broke out in laughter. "'Offer' he says! Hah! Fine then you little fool. If you want to die so easily then so be it, we'll see how confident you look when you're about to die!" The bandit took a rusty old sword laying nearby and threw it. It stuck into the ground near the challenger. However, the man didn't take the gesture, but rather stood in fighting stance. "A weapon will not be necessary for me." "You were intent on fighting me with your bare hands all along? Hmph. One act of kindness and it ends up being usless." Sighed the bandit as he stood at the ready with his own sword. "Guys! Let's get him!" After a moment, a whole wave of bandits began to rush towards the single man. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The shantytown of the bandits now looked like it had also been ransacked by marauders. Men, Weapons, and peices broken off the town's huts where strewn about, some still smoldering. The bandit wohm had lead the charge earlier was being held off the ground by the strange man, exhausted, wounded, and completely at his mercy. With short breath, he gasped out a sentance. "...Shi...it! ...who the hell are you!?" ... "Rasstier Messana." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Someplace Close to XXX, The Village of Tulip] Of course, all of that is what lead to the situation of the present "Where is Rasstier Messana? Bring him out here now!" A tougher looking bandit stood at the entrance to a village. Following the rumors, the man with the golden hair was most certainly hiding in this village. If it was true, he and his men would be able to pay him back for the humiliation a month ago. The Rider Bandits rode their Fenrir about town, with little consideration to what was in the way as they searched for him. Many of them had just gotten over the wounds they took in that hectic battle a month ago that made them lose much of their courage. But, now with their leader, they confidently ransacked their way across the town, itching for revenge. [The Village of Tulip, In The Town Inn] The person in question was sitting down nearby in the town's inn, many of the patrons where either hiding in the cellar or anxiously peering over the windows to catch glances at the chaos outside. Entertainingly enough, Rasstier was sitting at a table eating as if nothing was wrong. "Uh, might I ask what your name was again...?" Asked the inn's waitress, overhearing the Bandits' repeated demands. Rasstier continued to be apathetic, however. "I've already beaten them before. So I have no reason to fight them." "Uh- I see..." She awkwardly responded. [Someplace Close to XXX, The Village of Tulip] It had been a few minutes. The bandit leader didn't want to go through the trouble of breaking into everyone's houses (this would've probably been the third town they'd ransacked this week). In the interest of time, he reached for one of the young women his men managed to catch outside. The gruff bandit pushed her to the ground and set his weapon - a heavy warhammer - onto her head. He then set his foot onto the hammerhead, threatening to apply more pressure. "If you rats don't answer me I'll smash this girl's head to froth! Now you lot had better tell me: where the hell is Rasstier Messana dammit!?" "Oh no! not this! Can't you just threaten to slit my throat like a normal bandit!?" |

Raina Aimiliana Rosamund & Louise Milicent ------------------------------------------------------------------- [Inside a forest, somewhere near The Village of Tulip] "Rainaa..can't we rest for a while? We've been walking by this morning without any break, my legs are hurting me, you know," said Louise with a low tone to Raina, who didn't even break a sweat. Raina and Louise had been walking like this for six hours straight, and still didn't find their destination. Raina turned her gaze to Louise, "I don't know if a former noble knight like you is allowed to complain such trivial matter like getting exhausted in the middle of traveling." "Don't start a war with me, Raina..or I will bite your cheek." said Louise, still walking slowly to conserve her stamina, "Where is the nearest village or town, Raina? It's been four days since we left that small village, and our food supplies are getting depleted." Louise took her last wheat bread from her bag, and her face turned pale, "Oh my, our food supplies aren't getting depleted. They are DEPLETED." Raina opened her map for a while, and said to Louise, "It must be somewhere not too far from here based on my map. It's like.. 1 kilometers away from here, if I'm not mistaken." Raina took a look at her bag, and realized that her bag were already emptiedof food. It only contained her books for studying. "Louise..may I--" said Raina, her eyes aimed at Louise's bread that was on the way to Louise's mouth. "No, Raina~ This is my last share of our bread! And this is my favorite too, the one with delicious mincemeat inside," Louise teased Raina, putting the bread inside her mouth back and forth. Raina showed a rather annoyed expression, and because of that Louise laughed. "Hahaha, you know that I'm joking riiiight~" Louise split her bread in two, and gave the other half to Raina. "But we really need to get there fast, Raina. Our money won't help us without any food and supplies to buy." said Louise while taking a bite out of her bread. Raina smiled, "Yeah, let's continue, Loui--eek!" Raina startled by the sudden appearance of two bulky man in front of her and Louise. Those men wore black suit from animal skin, tattered brown trousers, and one of them wore an eye patch. The tallest one brought an giant axe with blood smeared on it, an the other-the one with eye patch- brought a chain mace with spike ball. Raina and Louise quickly recognized those men as bandits, and readied their weapons if those bandits were going to mess with them. "Oh, my..Look what we ran into, my brother~ Two beautiful girls in the middle of empty forest! Let's play with them!" the one with eye patch spoke with such ugly, echoing voice. "Yeah, but we are tasked to search for a blonde guy, not beautiful girls like them.." the tallest one replied. Raina and Louise covered their nose, because those men sent foul odor from their body. "Raina..they look like a stupid bunch from before.."Louise whispered to Raina. Raina replied with a nod, "Let's just finish this quickly, Louise." "That's not what I mean, stupid brother! Let us have fun with these girls, it's been a long time since I ate the flesh of such beau---AAAAAGGGHHH!!!" The eye-patched guy shrieked in pain after Raina hit him on the head with Brunhild so hard. The guy collapsed, and dropped cold on the ground. "This guy is weaker than he looks. Won't worth my precious bullets." Raina spoke in calm manner. She wiped the bloodstain from Brunhild's barrel, and stepped back. "You can have this guy, Louise." said Raina, and she continued eating her bread. Louise grinned, "I hope this guy isn't that weak." she put her portion of bread in her pocket and stepped closer to the bandit guy. The taller guy got angry and his face turned red,"What did you do to my brother!!! AAAAAGH---YOU PUNY LITTLE PIECE OF MEAT, I WILL KILL YOU ALL AND FEAST ON YOUR FLESH!" He lifted his giant axe, and swung it into Louise, trying to chop her into two. Louise unsheathed her Godwyn, and parried the axe attack which produced heavy sound of clashed metal. The bandit guy got pushed away because of the repelled strike, and a surprised expression was drawn on his face. "How could you, a puny little meat blocked my mighty swing!" The bandit guy lifted his axe again, preparing for his next attack, "This time you won't be able to save yourself!" Louise grinned, and with a swift movement she got close to the bandit. "Slow!" she said with a clear voice, and in the next second a copy of Godwyn appeared in her left hand. She parried the axe attack with the original Godwyn in her right hand, and then landed a clean strike on the bandit torso with her copy-Godwyn. "AAAAGGHH---!!" The bandit screamed in pain, and Louise stroke the bandit again with the Godwyn. The giant axe slipped from the bandit's hand, and fell to the ground close with Louise's feet. He collapsed to the ground. "Eeek! That was close.. or my feet will be squashed by that axe." Louise sighed, and she sheathed her Godwyn. The copy Godwyn disappeared into thin air. Raina chuckled, and Louise got flustered "W-What is so funny, Raina!" "Hahaha, nevermind Louise. Anyway, those guys mentioned about a blonde guy, just like the bandits we ran into two days ago," said Raina, then she continued "Louise, you didn't kill that guy, right?" Louise shook her head, "No, that attack won't kill him. There is no meaning for killing that guy. And..yeah, it seems like they are from the same group of bandits. I wonder if we will meet this bandit gang when we get to the next village. What's the name.. oh The Village of Tulip." "I hope they sell bullets and materials I need to craft some elemental bullets. " said Raina. "Well I hope so. I also need some materials for maintaining Godwyn to keep it on best shape. Let's keep going, Raina." said Louise, then she took her bread out of her bag and continued munching on it. Raina smiled to her. "Yeah, let's get going." The two continued their march to the next village. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Someplace Close to XXX, The Village of Tulip] "Where is Rasstier Messana? Bring him out here now!" A tougher looking bandit stood at the entrance to a village. Following the rumors, the man with the golden hair was most certainly hiding in this village. If it was true, he and his men would be able to pay him back for the humiliation a month ago. "Is he the leader of those pesky bandits?" said Louise. "It seems so. I feel something different from that guy. No less, he is kinda dangerous. Let's make sure we won't encounter him or his men, it will be a problem," Raina replied. "Tch..and we just arrived to a new place to rest, but it will be a riot here for sure. I bet that Rasstier guy is the blonde guy those bandits talking about," Louise sighed. Raina and Louise hid themselves between the houses near the entrance. They just got into the village an half hour ago, earlier than those bandits. They hid in order to prevent getting the bandits attention, because of their weapons in hand especially Raina's Brunhild. The Rider Bandits rode their Fenrir about town, with little consideration to what was in the way as they searched for him. Many of them had just gotten over the wounds they took in that hectic battle a month ago that made them lose much of their courage. But, now with their leader, they confidently ransacked their way across the town, itching for revenge. "Those guys are splitting to search him. We must get more cautious." said Raina to Louise. "Okay, let's hope that this Rasstier guy isn't loitering around this village,"said Louise, "Maybe we can search for the nearest shop or inn that's still open." Raina nodded. The two then stealthily moved from buildings to buildings, hoping that those guys won't find them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Someplace Close to XXX, The Village of Tulip] However, Raina and Louise ended up tailing the bandit leader. Those bandits raided some houses just to search one person, and they couldn't forgive them for their reckless monstrosity. They waited for the perfect opening to barge in, because it would pose a problem if they recklessly confront those bandits. It had been a few minutes. The bandit leader didn't want to go through the trouble of breaking into everyone's houses (this would've probably been the third town they'd ransacked this week). In the interest of time, he reached for one of the young women his men managed to catch outside. The gruff bandit pushed her to the ground and set his weapon - a heavy warhammer - onto her head. He then set his foot onto the hammerhead, threatening to apply more pressure. "What...? What are they going to do now with that woman?" said Louise, as they watched the scene from behind the building near it. She clenched her fists and she reached for her Godwyn that was still sheathed. Raina hold Louise's readied right arm. "Don't. I will try to divert their attention." Raina loaded her Clotild with a low-explosive grenade shell, then she pointed the tip of Clotild's barrel vertically up to the sky, like a mortar. She aimed for the bandit crowds near their leader, that would sure attract attention. "If you rats don't answer me I'll smash this girl's head to froth! Now you lot had better tell me: where the hell is Rasstier Messana dammit!?" "Oh no! not this! Can't you just threaten to slit my throat like a normal bandit!?" "Now!" said Raina, and she shot the shell towards the bandit crowds. It went up 5 meters above them, and then it exploded, throwing up black smoke followed by a rather loud explosion sound. BLAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMM! |

OOC: Edited my bio to match some of the happenings in the Academy. [Seiren] [The Academy - Early Morning] A young woman with a dark blue dress was walking slowly, with her hands carrying a tome, with a typical, worn out dark brown cover. The ground was covered with cobblestones. The woman expected to be a quiet walk to the Headmaster's office, until... "SEIREN!" She quickly turned behind, only to found that a man in a white outfit lunged towards her, with a clenched fist, heading towards her face. After dodging the initial strike, the man continued to attack her, and she simply dodged and deflected his attacks, before making a backflip, creating a distance between herself and her opponent. "Hyaaaaaaah---" The man roared at her before charging in like an enraged bull. This time, the woman takes up a defensive stance, and is more prepared than the first time. Her opponent, immediately initiated his series of unarmed strikes. As for young girl, she did not dodge his attacks. Rather, she simply blocked the attacks, either using her tome that she carried or her own effort. Then, she delivered a punch to his gut which made him stagger and took a few steps backward. The man did not gave up and continued. This time, he performed a flying kick, only to get countered with a kick to the face. "Why you little..." The woman simply smiled in response, as her opponent made another approach. She decided to end this once and for all, and thus changed her tactics. As the man threw his punch, she reversed it, before giving him a heavy strike to his face with her tome. It resulted an instant KO. "I'll... not...give... up..." The young man groaned on the ground, as Seiren continued to her destination... [The Academy - Headmaster's Office] Seiren knocked on the door, before entering the office. Noctis was sitting on his table, reading a letter. "Hey Old Man, I got your book." Then she threw the tome to his table, and it landed with a thud. It slided on the table for a quick while, covering enough distance to let Noctis to take it without having to stand up. Seiren then leaned on the wall. "You know, you should tell Gerald not to shout his opponent's name whenever he tries to do a sneak attack." Seiren continued. "Anyway, is there anything else?" |

[Noctis Lucis Caelum|Headmasters Office|around 7am] Noctis was quietly reading the letter as was about to finish it when he heard a commotion near his office. He closed his eyes as he sighed. He felt the new beginning of a headache starting to form. "..It's too early in the morning you two." he said to nobody in particular.He already knew who was causing the commotion as there were only a few students who could cause such a disturbance. Seiren knocked on the door, before entering the office. Noctis was sitting on his table, reading a letter. "Yes,yes come in." Noctis said as he heard a knock and he resumed reading the letter. "Just..don't break the door yet again." he said quietly as she entered the room. "Hey Old Man, I got your book." "...I'm not an old man." Noctis said quietly. Then she threw the tome to his table, and it landed with a thud. It slided on the table for a quick while, covering enough distance to let Noctis to take it without having to stand up. Seiren then leaned on the wall. "You know, you should tell Gerald not to shout his opponent's name whenever he tries to do a sneak attack." Seiren continued. "Anyway, is there anything else?" Noctis continued reading the letter.He thought it was best to finish it before attending to his pupil.A few minutes of silence passed.Then he finally put the letter down.He leaned back on his chair and it creaked slightly. "Yes thank you for the book." Noctis said as he crumpled the letter and burnt it and he looked at his student with his hands locked together on the table.He sighed again. "What'll I ever do with you two,Seiren." he said to her "...Even my old Sparring partner,Shiroyuki, never caused this much headache to our professors." "Well,whatever.No there is nothing else for now.I already asked one of your other fellow seniors to bring me coffee.You may leave." he said as he was about to get the book she bought him.Then something hit him. "...Unless...Have you a mind for adventure?" he asked her "..No what am I saying.You graduates have more things to do than accompany your professor to a far away place.Besides,I'm sure it'll be boring.You may leave for now,thank you." Noctis said to her as he got the book and started to scan it's pages. |

A magical card that contained spirits of immense power. Abilities & Skills: •Physical Abilities - Despite her tiny size, she is a very capable fighter. She uses a very agile and somewhat artistic sword style of combat, performing leaps and jumps around and over her opponents, distracting them. Her fighting style is very creative and somehow logical, as she doesn't only use sheer strength and speed Swordsmanship: Pyper is shown, or at least implied, to be an excellent swordsman. She wields a Chinese jian, which takes the sealed form of a hanging pendant. •Blue Firey - The Firey has the power to control or summon fire. It is no more powerful than other elemental cards but is warned to be used with care. • Wings of Alaster- A pair of fiery wings appear on her back, allowing flight. At first, she is not able to use them properly, but with practice she learns later on. • The Illusion- is an aggressive card capable of creating an illusion based on whatever the viewer expects to see or wants to see. • The Sword - is able to cut through almost anything, The card gains its strength from the heart of the person who wields it and gives the wielder the skills of a master swordsman. However, can also overwhelm and take control of the person holding it, especially if he or she is non-magical or Half. Personality: She often ignores other people's advice and does things her own way, which usually results in other outcomes. She is kind and cares for those she loves. Somewhat hostile ( Tsundere ) Biography: She was rescued and picked up when she was an infant. She was then raised and trained by Alaster ( Her Father Figure ) stating that she is destined to be a very majestic figure when she grows up. She is the only descendants of Alaster Reed,a magician. After she and Alaster went their separate ways with the latter's intentions of allowing Pyper to learn on her own proceeding to her solitary journey. Her resent actions were to find some place to learn more and become more skilled, finding her roads crisscrossing with The Academy • Other Pyper is highly trained and skilled in the generation and manipulation of magical energies. Pyper possesses a greater degree of magical sensitivity. She is able to not only sense in a greater area, but is also able to discern their presence even through attempts at cloaking or hiding. She can greatly extend her ability to detect magical activity. |

OOC: Just a sidenote, generic (unamed) characters I make (like the bandits or even the leader guy) anyone can be controlled by anyone, so don't worry about waiting on me to control them. [Rasstier Messana] [Someplace Close to XXX, The Village of Tulip] A blast rung out over the town close to where the bandit leader was. Unaccustomed to explosives, the bandit leader nearly lost his balance, but forced his weight back forward to regain it. He felt something suddenly give way on his front foot as he did so. "W-what was that!? Who did that!?" The man angrily retorted. He lifted his war-hammer, and swung it hard. The force of the swing blew the smoke away in a gust of wind, clearing the area. Unfortunately... "Ech! Boss you gone and smashed that girl's head up!" "I did? Oh crud, I did." He shook his bloodied boot off. "Ah damn it boss! Just when I got my hands on a real pretty one too!" "They'll be more where she came from so shut up! But first off who caused that explosion! Men, find em' now! And get me another hostage girl while you're at it!" The men on their Fenrir quickly spread out across town, destined to eventually come across the source of the explosion... [The Village of Tulip, In The Town Inn] The patrons had hit the deck when the blast had occurred. By the time they had courage to peer through the windows again, the mounted bandits where making their way through the village again, as if looking for something. "Oh no! The poor girl!" Said a bar patron quickly seeing the partially headless hostage. "He stomped on her so hard that her head had gone and exploded!" Rasstier was well aware that the explosion wasn't from the bandit smashing the towns girl, but from someone with a firearm. Setting his overturned mug back up, he looked towards the outside, his interest suddenly piqued by the appearance of a new threat. [Melodia Austere] [???] "What do you mean you can't go on anymore missions?" A young assassin leaned forward with her hands on her hips. "We still need your help! There's no way I can lead the team all by myself!" The person she was arguing with, a woman with brown hair and a calm expression, looked up to her as she leaned back on her chair. "So you think you're inadequate?" ".... Yeah! If you want me to admit it then yes! So please-..." The young assassin saw a glint of light almost flash and rapidly arc towards her. In response, she swung back using the fastest acceleration magic she could muster. CLANG! In what had seemed to be an instant, the young assassin found the the other woman's knife just inches away from her neck. The only thing between them being her own blade that had just barely managed to stop it. After a moment, the brown haired Counter-Agent gave a small smile. "You should totally give yourself a bit more credit." She said as she withdrew her blade. "Anyway, I believe you'll do fine from now on. You all can perform as Counter Agents on your own without my supervision. Plus, the elders kinda told me to do this, so I have no real choice." "It's because of how they're trying to protect the identity of the Hamlet, right? Captain Austere?" "It's more like you all no longer need me to be around anymore. You are all capable of working on your own now with individual assignments." "And who decided that!?" "The one who decided this was myself. At this point me coming with you is a waste of people-power for the hamlet." The young assassin bit her lip, if she had the power to overturn that decision, she would've. But at the same time, she knew that the Captain's decisions where always firmly grounded. Fighting against it would only do more to embarrass herself. With a sigh, she gave in. "I understand... Captain." "You don't have to call me captain anymore ya know. We're pretty much on the same level now." She said as she stood up to leave. "Anyway, I've been called elsewhere, so, this is goodbye." "Goodbye!? We'll see each other gain someday, right?" The captain's face became somber. "I hope we don't." "W-why?" "'First Protocol upon calling a Counter Agent.' You remember, right?" The young assassin recited simple protocol that she knew by heart: "'Request for a Counter Agent is strictly forbidden, and limited to only one type of situation: When an the Death of an Agent or Ally has been established as an inevitability....'" Her voice trailed off as the Captain made her way to the door. "Take care of yourself, 'Vista'." "You too Capt-... I mean, Miss Melodia Austere." As the door shut, Vista was filled with nostalgia. The only other time she had ever used the Captain's full name was on the first day she was assigned to train under her. But that time was long past - Vista was now a regarded as a fully capable Counter Agent. Her teacher, Melodia, was first agent of it's kind. |

I'm fine with that, and it might be an interesting one should Melodia has to fight Seiren. x3 [Seiren] [The Academy - Headmaster's Office] Noctis thanked Seiren for bringing his requested tome to him. He also complained that she and her rival was causing too much fuss around the Academy. "Well, it's not my fault. He's the one who started all this nonsense." Seiren responded. "I'm just plain defending myself from his mischievousness." Then, she gave a reply about his request to accompany him to... an adventure. "You know that I'm already graduated from the Academy before it closed itself from accepting new students, don't you?" She continued on. "I returned just to gain new knowledge on magic, or extending my semesters. And well, to escape those pesky employers who wanted to find me for being... you know..." Seiren smiled to Noctis. "So yeah, I don't mind accompanying you to somewhere, especially if we're bringing the fight to Izzet Guild. Plus, I can take a break from that Gerald guy." Then, she started to feel an urge. The urge to kill. "Jeez, I hate this whenever this urge pops up. It has been a while since I have started being a mercenary...." |
