![]() Theme: I Look Up at the Sky Because You Are There The region of Aigle has finally emerged from the flames of war and has instead fallen in to a state of tense peace. As the years pass by, the countries became more reclusive and focused mainly on internal problems as opposed to each other. The relative peace brought with it the freedom for people to travel the lands and learn more about the world while also paving the way for bandits and criminals to gain free reign over uninhabited or disputed areas. Those who were willing to deal with these threats and desired to explore Aigle banded together to create the single region-spanning organization known as ‘The Aigle’s Gale Guild’. Members of this group are known as Tempests and although they mainly wish to explore Aigle, their main goal is to discover the secrets of the Kingdom of Avira and set foot in the mysterious country. Avira is aware of this guild but so far has not used its military to interfere with their actions. Rumors persist that the country instead hires mercenaries to attack Tempests in order to avoid drawing suspicion to certain ruins or caverns. Travelers of all forms have also spotted strange creatures, with several reports per day of missing people and discoveries of human remains. Despite these dangers, the guild enjoys a large membership in all of the countries, even though few of the members are skilled warriors. Rules: -All 'RP Master's Guide to RP'ing' rules apply. -I will not limit the number of characters that one person can have at the moment, so long as everyone keeps up with every character they have made. -Love is welcomed, but do not post anything explicit. -I don't have everything completed at the moment, I'm just setting up the structure to judge interest while I work on completing it. Rules will be updated shortly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Miranda 'Mira' Walker Age: 23 Gender: Female Nationality: Daedalos Status: Aigle's Gale Guild Member Weapon: Scythe (Similar to this, although not curved downward as much) Attacks: Shockwave - By concentrating her magical energy, Miranda is able to launch shockwaves from her weapon by swinging it (Attack flies forward at the same angle that the weapon was swung) Reaper - Miranda's scythe disappears from her hands. When she makes swinging motions in this state, her scythe briefly appears near the opponent and mimics the action. Neko Step - Miranda is able to jump high into the air, around the height of the rooftop on an average house. Appearance: ![]() Miranda currently has her torso wrapped in bandages due to injuries she suffered on her stomach against a mercenary. She normally wears a dark red sleeveless shirt and long cape of the same color. Personality: Miranda is adventurous and lighthearted, despite her cold and serious appearance. She is also a little bit of a thrill seeker which results in her getting tied up in dangerous situations quite often. She loves to relax in grassy fields whenever possible, and loves the ocean, but is afraid of tight spaces because it prevents her from using her scythe and leaves her defenseless. Name: Ezio Age: 11 Gender: Male Nationality: Avira Weapon: Varies Abilities/Attacks: Copy-Cat (Copies the abilities of people he is around for a certain length of time. How he does this as well as the length of time needed to copy the abilities is still unknown, but for some reason he has been unable to copy Miranda's and Excellen's abilities. Appearance: ![]() Personality: Ezio is a timid and shy boy, but also very curious. He has a habit of wandering off into places alone without realizing it. He is nervous around older girls for an, as of yet, unknown reason. Otherwise, he is very polite and well mannered. Bio: Basic - Ezio is a young boy from Avira. He was found fleeing from a group of men in the marketplace of an Imeldan city. He was wearing tattered Avirian clothing and carried a small pouch, a poster with the Aigle's Gale Guild emblem on it, and a small glass pendant filled with an odd powder. Ezio has since revealed himself to be one of the main conspirators in the execution of King Oswell by his people. He is also shown to be much more intelligent than he originally let on. --------Minor Characters-------- Name: Serah Age: 22 Gender: Female Nationality: Avira Weapon: Anil Revolver (Bullets are capable of piercing most armor and weapons, with the exception of other Anil based weapons) Abilities/Attacks: N/A Appearance: ![]() Bio: Serah is the leader of The Orphans of Avira rebel group. Most of her family was killed when she was 17 due to a member of her family being found guilty of treason against Avira. He was discovered by the Avirian leaders to have been hoarding Anil in an unknown location and as a result his entire family suffered the consequences. Serah managed to hijack an airship being used as a museum piece and escaped unharmed. She has spent most of the past 5 years recruiting others like herself and searching for the location of the Anil that her relative had been hiding. Name: Nerina Age: 22 Gender: Female Nationality: Avira Weapon: Anil Revolvers (x2) (Bullets are capable of piercing most armor and weapons, with the exception of other Anil based weapons) Abilities/Attacks: N/A Appearance: ![]() Bio: The second member of The Orphans of Avira rebel group. She was rescued by Serah from Aigle only a few months after Serah escaped from Avira. She was enslaved in a compound by an underground organization similar to the one that Jillian had been running. Serah managed to purchase her as she was being auctioned off as a slave and she has since become a permanent member of the group. She does not know if her family is alive or not, or even who her family is for that matter. She was captured at a young age during an Anil expedition and was not released until after the effects of childhood wore off. Name: Eric Age: 25 Gender: Male Nationality: Avira Weapon: Anil Revolver (Bullets are capable of piercing most armor and weapons, with the exception of other Anil based weapons) Abilities/Attacks: N/A Appearance: ![]() Bio: Eric is the third member of The Orphans of Avira. Unlike the others, he set out to find the rebel group himself instead of being recruited by them. Eric's family is also dead as a result of one of his relatives actions, but he has refused to discuss the circumstances surrounding it. He has been with the group for roughly 3 years. Name: Ethan Age: 20 Gender: Male Nationality: Avira Weapon: Anil Tonfa (x2) (Capable of cutting through normal weapons and armor with relative ease. It is unable to cut through other Anil based weapons.) Abilities/Attacks: N/A Appearance: ![]() Bio: Ethan is the newest member of The Orphans of Avira rebel group, having only been recruited 1 year ago. He was stationed on the same ship that Serah's deceased relative had used and ended up accidently finding his journal during a routine cleaning of the ship. One of the crew aboard the ship spotted him examining the map inside of the journal and reported him to the captain. Ethan was accused of the same thing that Serah's relative was and ended up falling overboard as he was being chased by the guards. The Orphans of Avira airship happened to be passing through at a lower altitude, hidden by cloud cover, and Ethan was lucky enough to land on it. After recovering from the injuries caused by the fall and learning of the likely fate of his relatives because of the accusation, he resolved to join the group and assisted them in trying to find the hidden cache of Anil. Vehicle: Anvindr (Meaning: 'Against the Wind') Type: Enforcer (Enforcers were essentially cruiser-style airships designed by the Avirians to shoot down Avirian trade ships that had gone rogue. They were phased out a century ago in favor of more effective methods of control.) Operators: Avira (Original) The Orphans of Avira (Current) Armaments: Heavy ship-to-ship and air-to-ground weapons. They are outdated and therefore are not particularly effective against newer Avirian ships, however they are still capable of significant damage to ground targets. Appearance: ![]() Bio: The A-019, as it was originally designated, was an Enforcer airship used by the Avirians over a century ago. After the Enforcer class of airship was phased out, the A-019 was preserved for use as a museum ship. It was eventually stolen by Serah during her escape from Avira. After the formation of The Orphans of Avira rebel group, the ship was renamed by Nerina to Anvindr and became the groups main base. Despite its age, the ship has been well preserved due to it being a museum ship and Nerina's handling of the general maintenance. |

Name: Wren Goldcrest Age: 18 Gender: Female Nationality: Daedalos Status: Aigle's Gale Guild Member Weapon: A dagger which she inherited from her adoptive father, but she will also use small weapons such as knives or needles when necessary. Abilities: Sing-Song: Wren sings a bird call, which will call upon all of the birds in the general area. Due to the bird call, these birds will not attack the enemy, but rather, they would sing; piercing the ears of anyone in the vicinity and making them deaf to everything except for the song. Even after the birds are gone, the song of the birds will still ring in the victims' ears. Natural Power: Wren can used a power that is similar to herbalism, but to a more advanced extent. By placing a plant onto a wound (Or by eating them), the wound will be healed within minutes or even seconds (Depending on how severe the wound is). The rarer the plant is in the general area, the more severe of wounds it can heal, and it can heal wounds at a faster rate as well. Wren can perform this ability on others as well by placing a plant on their wound, but the healing will not occur at all or at the same rate if they try to eat the plant. Play Ball: Wren can control the earth around her to form a ball (Which Wren calls a mudball), which shortly after formation will violently explode mud, soil, rocks, or whatever else it was made out of. The largest mudball she can form is about the size of a basketball, but she can form smaller mudballs that are about the size of a baseball. Its explosion covers a 3 meter radius at most (The largest mudball she can form will cover a 3 meter radius, but smaller mudballs will have a smaller explosion radius). Appearance: ![]() Personality: Wren is a quirky, confident, and fun loving girl. She loves to play and goof around, but she is also responsible and she will stand up for what she believes in. Bio: Wren had been abandoned by her parents shortly after her birth, and she was left in a forest in Daedalos, presumeably to die. That is, until a young trader traveling through the forest came upon her. The trader took her in and raised her as one of his own along with his wife, a merchant who lived in and ran a marketplace in a village in Daedalos. Wren lived with her mother and helped her run the marketplace until she was 8, when her father took her on a short trip to Selene, the capital of Lucine (Which was not very far from her hometown in Daedalos). Since then, she had alternated between the two lifestyles, one of staying at home and helping her mother with the marketplace, and the other of traveling across Aigle with her father. Because of this, she has become a skilled traveler, obtaining knowledge in various matters. She has also learned many fighting techniques while traveling with her father, making her decent in combat as well. When Wren was 13, she had returned from her first trip to Usha with her father. The trip itself went well for them, however, only a day after they had returned home, her father became terribly ill. For almost a year, he was bedridden with this unusual illness, which even the local healers could not identify. Gradually, after almost a year had passed, he started to get better, yet even as he got better he still lacked the basic abilities needed as a trader: he was physically weak and he could not walk long distances. Because of this, he career as a trader came to an end. Their marketplace was still supported by other traders passing through their village, and they managed to live a comfortable life as a merchant family. Yet, as time went on, Wren realized that this was not was she wanted. She had wanderlust, and she yearned for travel and adventure. Thus, when she turned 16, she asked her parents if she could return to a life of travel by becoming a part of Aigle's Gale Guild. Her parents, believing that she was experienced enough, allowed her to travel on her own. Her father gave her his dagger for protection, and the next day she departed on her journey. Ever since that day, Wren has been traveling. She has visited all of the major countries of Aigle excluding Avira, and it is her dream to travel there. ![]() |

Name: Alaric Boreas Age: 25 Gender: Male Nationality: Usha Status: Adventurer/Captain Weapon: Rapier and armored gauntlet Abilities: Sword Storm: Alaric summons a number of transparent blades, up to 50, that appear in the air around him, these blades can then be propelled against the enemy either one by one or in larger groups. The blades either act as ordinary swords and cut their target or create a blast of air on impact. Aegis of Blades: Summons a ring of blades that orbits behind Alaric or someone else nearby. These blades will react to magical attacks made against the receiver of the Aegis and will automatically block these attacks. Maximum number of blades is 50 and depending on the strenght of the attack it may require more than one blade to block a single attack. Banehammer/Nemesis Lance: Alaric focuses energy either into his gauntlet or into his sword. The energy is then released, the way the energy behaves differs whether he focused into his sword or his gauntlet. When focused into the gauntlet the energy acts like an explosion blasting outward from the palm of his hand. When focused into the sword the energy creates a lance of pure energy which is capable of piercing most defenses. Most people think that the two releases are different abilities and so the ability has two names. Released from the gauntlet it's known as Banehammer, released from the sword it's known as Nemesis Lance. Appearance: ![]() Personality: Alaric likes living whatever comes his way. He takes anyhting that comes his way into stride and if he can have laugh while doing so, even better. Though sometimes you get glimpses of something darker beneath the surface. Bio: Alaric is the captain of a ship called The Undine, it is not the largest ship, but it is one of the fastest and as such Alaric has struck a deal with the Aigle's guild, where the guild members can ask him for transport should they be in need of it, he receives a compensation for the loss of trade that the transportation incurs from the guild. Sometimes Alaric also accompanies the guild members on their explorations in return for a share of the loot. This is excellent deal for Alaric who likes the explorations and since his crew is trustworthy he knows he can leave the ship in their care while he is exploring the ruins and other places. He has also been offered the guild membership twice before, but so far he has declined the offer. He also has a companion that usually perches on his shoulder, a parrot he called Ramirez. Ramirez likes to fly around and is quite fearless, often trying to land on the shoulders of people Alaric meets. Ramirez can also deliver messages, but it's something Alaric doesn't ask of him that often. Alaric doesn't talk much about his past, he has admitted that he comes from Usha and that his parents still live there. Also Usha is the place where he got his ship, seven years earlier, though how he aqcuired it isn't exactly certain. He says he won it after a bet, though nobody, except him, knows what kind of bet it was. ![]() ![]() |

Arsonist - His magical abilities are mostly toward the power of fire, his signature attack with this ability is Fiery Typhoon, where he spun around holding his weapons that were emblazoned with fire, which results in every opponent who got hit with it, will catch a fire on them. The downside on this ability is that the fire can easily be extinguished by water (duh...) and it drains his energy. 2. Name : Elnica "El" Oaxith Age : 17 Gender : Female Nationality : Daedalos Status : Aigle's Gale Guild Member Weapon : Daggers of Serafi (reverse hold) (imagine the glowing part to be steel, and the color scheme is green instead of red, lazy to photoshop, lol) Abilities : Absolute Dance : By concentrating her magical energy on Serafi's blades, giving it a green glow, Elnica launches a flurry of graceful and precise attacks, as if she were dancing. Wings of Serafi : Harnessing Serafi's magic, a pair of green wings grow on Elnica's back, allowing her to jump great heights, anytime, anywhere. The wings disappear after a single jump, and can only be used once every 30 minutes. Elnica needs at least 5 seconds to summon the wings. She usually couples this with Absolute Dance for an effective aerial attack. Featherdance : Another dance oriented ability, Elnica dances as green feathers are released from Serafi, giving her a strong but not invincible 360 degree protection, able to hold back at most an explosion. She can at least cover two people with Featherdance, but they must be close by. The feathers cannot block melee attacks, however, only magic-oriented attacks such as summoned blades. She uses this ability due to her restricted range of attack. Appearance : Personality : A brave and adventurous girl, values her fellow Guild members more than anything else. Elnica smiles a lot and is soft spoken, but she wont falter in the face of danger. She stops to think about her actions from time to time, reminding herself to not repeat past mistakes. She also has a fondness with birds, probably due to her constant use of Serafi. Bio : Elnica is a girl who was left behind by her parents with her grandparents, due to reasons she never found out. She does not hold any grudges against her parents, knowing there is a good reason. Her grandparents passed away less than a year ago, and that was when she joined the Gale Guild. It was also around the same time she discovered her parents' legacy and a possible lead to where and who exactly they might be. She also learned that her grandparents weren't even her real grandparents, but she still calls them her grandparents whenever she is referring to them. She also found the Daggers of Serafi and has been training and treasuring it ever since, taking it as a memento of her grandparents. She learned of it's powers and has no problems using it, she was trained to fight with twin daggers when she was little, an action took after she was attacked while travelling. The goggles were another memento she received, this time properly from her grandfather before dying. She was told they were something that was left with her from her parents, and they were planning on giving it to her when she is 18. She found documents stating the Daggers were of Avira, origin, and that her parents were people of Avira, which led her to joining the Gale Guild so that she can explore Aigle more and possibly find new leads and finally discover the truth lying in the Kingdom of Avira and her parents. I think I went overboard with the bio. |

Thanks for taking an interest everyone. Just wanted to let everyone who has applied know that I have finished up the countries section and adjusted a few other things. You shouldn't have any problems completing your profiles now. I'm not sure when I will start this up. There are 9 people now, including myself, so that seems like a good number. I'll just wait a little while to give people a chance to create a profile. Edit: @Haseo - I haven't closed casting. I don't usually do that because people will no doubt drop out over time. |

Name: Greyson Walld Age: 23 Gender: Male Nationality: Lucine Weapon: Spears (much like this) and a Claw Gauntlet Status: Aigle's Gale Guild Member; Treasure Hunter Abilities/Attacks: Beast Strike: the claws on his gauntlet are normally retracted, but when he's fighting with it, he can shoot the claws that are attached to a chain 15 feet wherever he is pointing. Tempestra: Greyson summons a few spears that float around him aided by the power of wind. he can control these spears without having to have a grasp on them, however, the reaction time is slower and accuracy is lessened do to the the drag the spear creates when it moves in midair. Windstep: By creating a small push of wind from under his feet, he's able to jump about 5 feet higher after his normal jump, acting as a sort of double jump. he can only jump once after a normal jump. Appearance: ![]() Personality: Grayson is known for being sly and tricky, often times conning people out of treasure. He can be very greedy, though that only comes out when treasure is at hand. He's somewhat of a narcissist, and has somewhat of an analytical mind. He makes strategies for battles so he doesn't go in unprepared. Bio: Greyson was born in the country of Lucine and grew up there all of his life. His father owned a small shop which sold various jewelries and treasure. From an early age, Greyson was fascinated with treasure; the intricate designed really enticed him. His mother was a housewife and took care of him, teaching him to read and write as well. His family wasn't particularly expensive, and his father was often on expeditions, looking for more treasure to sell. When his father was gone, it was up to Greyson and his mother to look after the shop. One night, while his father was on an expedition, someone broke into their house, the ground floor doubling as the shop, and tried to steal various treasures. The family kept a spear at home and his mother grabbed it and went downstairs to try and fend off the thief. Greyson's mother told him to wait upstairs, but he sneaked downstairs in time to see his mother murdered, and the thief over her body. Greyson, from that day, remembered the words the thief spoke over his mother's dead body: I'm not a thief, I'm a treasure hunter. Those words became Greyson's motto, and he uses the spear that his mother had in his hands to fight. When he was 18 he joined the Aigle's Guild to travel and find more treasure. He's particularly interested in Avira just because of the chance that their could be new and lavish treasures there waiting to be taken by him. |

Hi, I'd also like to reserve a spot please :D Good timing seeing as school holidays are starting, I will get my sheet up as soon as possible. EDIT Name: Kaia Seybold Age:19 Gender: Female Nationality: Lucine Weapon: An extremely large sharp blade, known affectionately as, "the Butcher's blade", stolen from an angry outlaw. For long range she uses needles coated with a deadly poison. Status: Aigle's Gale Guild Member Abilities: Vector Control: Kaia can reduce the amount of gravity acting on her body. This allows her to be extremely fast, leap long distances as well as jumping very high and enables her to use her large heavy sword with extreme ease. It only works on herself, she cannot affect anyone else's field of gravity. The longer she uses this power, however, the more tired she grows and it is suspected that the power destabilizes her internal organs, causing great damage. Poison Touch: Her extensive knowledge of poisons has led her to create a substance that eats away a person's flesh, she coats this on her needles and throws them at her attackers with deadly accuracy. Once the poison has touched a person's flesh they are beyond saving (although it is rumored she has an antidote.) Appearance: ![]() Personality: Happy and vibrant, but with a quick temper, Kaia is known for her easy-going personality as well as being an extremely loyal companion. However it is dangerous to get on her bad side as her hot temper affects her judgment. She is known to be reckless at time and has no concept of personal safety. Bio: Kaia was born to a noble family in Lucine, her parents were advisers to the old king and queen. She quickly became tired of their controlling ways and unrealistic sexist expectations, as well as loathing what they were doing in their positions as advisers, as they exploited the country to gain money. She ran away at age 14 and met a group of viscous outlaws. Discovering a power within her she managed to fight back, with the help of a wandering hermit, and gained her Butcher's Blade. She then stayed with the forest hermit for three years, learning the ways of Vector Control and her Poison Touch. Seeking adventure she then joined the guild and is an active adventurous member. Her parents were exiled after the king's downfall. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Note: I'll finish this up in about an hour or so. Name: Malvinder Leonheart Age: 25 Gender: Male Nationality: Lucine Status: Primary Adviser to Princess Luna II. Leader of her Royal Guard and also a member of the war council. Weapon: ![]() Abilities/Attacks: a)Meikyo Shisui/KyÅka Suigetsu - Makes the enemy unable to sense his presence. It can also be derived into KyÅka Suigetsu which distorts his enemy's perception of him by creating an illusion akin to an afterimage. Neither ability can be active at the same time. b)Aqua Vocal - He is able to use water in a variety of attacks. This is one of his basic and most powerful abilities. This ability makes him one of the most feared and respected men in Lucine. c)Colour Demon - A spell that causes a color-based game where you say the name of the color you want to cut with your sword and you cannot cut anything else. If the color that you call does not exist on your body, the damage is minimal, even if the attack would normally inflict a much more severe wound. The opposite is true; by calling out a color you're wearing and attacking, the damage given is proportional to the amount of that color on you. To maximize damage, you have to use a color that maximizes the risks to your person as well as your enemy's. For example, by wearing black robes and calling "black," one would inflict massive damage on an enemy if struck even if the actual blow itself was minimal or minor, but the caller would also suffer serious damage if he/she is struck by the enemy in return. Appearance: ![]() Personality: The embodiment of conviction, he follows his personal rules and honour to the letter, and expects the same of others. Malvin is very loyal to Luna and takes his duties very seriously, expecting the same from the rest of the generals. His loyalty is so great that he is willing to sacrifice himself and the other officers in order to defeat their enemies, believing it to be their duty to lay down their lives for the sake of the Lucine if necessary. He is well-respected and highly honorable, and always treats those around him with respect, even those who are weaker or not as highly ranked as he is. As a result, he can be easily approached by other. Due to his high moral code, Malvin will never let any harm come to either his underlings or those who attempt to protect them. He refuses to give up when he believes something is wrong and will break a rule to do what is right. This is the main reason why Luna respects him so much and truly believes in him. In combat terms, he always maintains a semblance of respect for his opponent and is polite in combat situations. He also has a high measure of mercy, and dislikes fighting in the presence of children or innocent women. Bio: During the dark periods of the previous rulers, one of their common acts was to dispose of anyone who went against them. Malvinder Leonheart's family of one of the most vocal and as such was one of the worst hit. In a swift and deadly maneuver, his entire family was wiped out in a single stroke leaving him as the only survivor. As the flames of war fanned, Malvin went to ground to train and also to prepare for an opportunity to take revenge. One day, he met a girl just a few years younger then him and was shocked to discover that she was Princess Luna II. he originally wished to take revenge on her for his family, but his honour would never have him place the sins of a parent of their child. To his eternal shock, when she found out whom he was, she bowed on her knees and begged for forgiveness. Moved by this, he listen to her story and wish to end the worthless war that had driven the country to ruin. They hatched a plan that had her appoint him as the head of her personal guard. When the war ended, they conducted a coup d'état, that successfully dethroned the previous rulers. After installing Luna as the ruler of Lucine, she immediately appointed Malvin as her personal and most respected adviser. He also maintained his position as head of her guard but now this was the Royal Guard. Luna being inexperienced as a ruler often relies on him for advice and often annoys him by asking his help to handle matters that she honestly has no idea what to do. He is annoyed as these missions often take him far from the palace and as such from his charge. It was under his advise that Luna shifted that capital from Hala to Selene. He often makes trips into Hala to discover what lies inside of those cursed walls. He also is a member of the war council making him more or less the second most powerful individual in the country. Currently his main mission is to help in the rebuilding of Lucine starting with the repairs of the damaged cities. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Everything is looking alright, although there are a few things I have to comment on. We'll start when most of the members have their profiles completed. @Roxas - I never really intended to use the rulers that much, their mostly just there to reference during the course of the RP, but try not to fill in so much back story for them. Also, you will have to take control over her as a character if you plan to make her a major part of your main character's activities. As I said, I never really planned for them to be used much. Also, can you clarify that second ability a little bit, if possible? @Kisaragi - Your King of Blades and Blessing of Life abilities are going to have to be toned down a little. Thousands of swords is a little too high of a number (Go with 100, maximum) and it would be difficult to explain another character being able to dodge that. Finally, the time it takes for your character to heal wounds will have to be extended. Being able to quickly heal wounds is bordering on god-modding. Other than those two minor points, everything else is alright. @Zen - What do you mean by Acrobatics? Because if you are thinking of typical Acrobatics that humans would be able to pull off, then you really don't have to use up an ability slot for it if you don't want to. It seems more like a natural talent to me. Wallrunning, being able to flip through the air multiple times and jumping off of multiple walls to climb would be considered an ability. Doing somersaults, swinging from objects and doing back or front flips could be considered natural ability. Either way, it's up to you. I don't have a problem with it, I just wanted to let you know that you don't have to use up an ability slot for it depending on what you are thinking of when it comes to acrobatics. |

@Jonathon: Here's the profile, sorry for being late. Name: Liel Vanguard Age: 24 Gender: Female Nationality: Imelda Status: Aigle's Gale Guild Member Weapon: One-handed Longsword & Metal Shield (shown in the Appearance pic.) Attacks/Abilities ->Weight Remover* Liel infuses her longsword or her shield with the wind elemental energy, thus causing it to become more light than before, allowing her to perform quicker attacks/deflects. With this ability, every attacks from Liel's longsword and shield are elemental wind-based. The wind-infused shield has a minor wind element protection. The ability requires a large sum of stamina however, especially when infusing both weapon and shield. ->Reaver* A passive ability that is activated once Liel is severely wounded. When activated, Reaver gives a boost to strength and constitution, as long there are enemies and the wounds are not too bad. The bonuses increase as she suffer more serious wounds. ->Elemental Aegis* By allocating a sum of her stamina, Liel creates an elemental shield that partially protects her from all kinds of elemental attacks. Combat Traits** (3 trait slots remaining) Infight --- Potential --- Guard --- Counter --- Perseverance --- Elemental: Wind --- Soul Skill: Spirit Appearance: Image (Her armor isn't as scant as the picture shown above. In the RP, she normally wears a full set of plated armor with similar colors, bearing the insignia of the city guard of Imelda.) Personality: Pessimistic and loves to sigh whenever she faces a problem, Liel is not the person you should share your problems with. Though she occasionally enjoys a fight or two, but Liel tries avoids any bloodshed as much as she can, except against bandits and thieves. She is quiet in most conversations, unless something interesting has happened. Bio: Liel is a native Imeldan born in a middle class family. She lived a rather content life, as her father is the captain of the city guardsmen in Imelda while her mother worked as a tailor, selling high-class apparels to the Imeldan nobles. Shortly after her elder brother died in the war occured throughout the region of Aigle, Liel's father decided that she should be a soldier or a city guard just like her father, when she was a teenage girl. Despite Liel's disagreement, her father sent her for training, as arrangements has been made within the city guard, after he retired from the captain's post. After completing 5 years of combined training and education, Liel was officially crowned as a city guardswoman of Imelda. She hated being a city guard and tends to skip patrols whenever she can, earning herself a bad reputation. During her 4 years of service, Liel noticed that guardsmen are getting more and more poorly equipped, as the years passed. She even bought her own set of weapons and armor, but that costs her a lot. As the country becomes more unstable, Liel decided to resign from her post and joined the Aigle's Gale Guild Member, as the pay is much better and a chance to do some travelling, despite leaving her aged parents behind in Imelda. ** - Combat Traits system, adapted from the Crossover RP by "H" , with permission from Jonathon. May I join? -Name: Amelia Blutsauger -Age: 17 -Gender: Female -Nationality: Usha -Weapon: Crossbow, dual knives, a scythe she named Blutsauger (After herself) -Abilities/Attacks: --Blinding Slash: While using a scythe or dual knives, Amelia can make a slash at blinding speeds that can be used to either disarm opponents or critically injure them if they’re unarmored. (It doesn’t have much effect against armored opponents.) Amelia likes to use this at the very beginning of an encounter. --Blutsauger: Amelia’s signature attack. She uses fell magics to conjure twelve scythes, which then carve up the opponent(s), leaving them in agony but just short of death. She named this move after herself, just like her scythe. --Accuracy: Amelia can hit a target at up to a hundred feet with her crossbow as though it were thirty feet away (at point-blank range). -Appearance: Long black hair, fair skin. She's beautiful in a no-nonsense kind of way. Her eyes are brown. -Personality: No-nonsense, endlessly practical. She has even been known to be a bit sarcastic. -Assorted Facts: (easier than doing a full bio) --Amelia has an older twin brother named Hamnet, who has been missing for the last three years. --Her father is a good man, but not an honest one. He makes his living as a swindler who targets the insanely rich, but only because there's no point in stealing from people who have nothing.
There are two things I can't stand in this world - people who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.

@Haseo - Everything looks alright. @Kisaragi - Thank you, that's much better. @Emiya - No problem. Edit: @Otaku - Much better. Thank you. Just watch the power playing stuff from now on. When you give your characters really strong attacks or abilities, other people tend to do the same, and then things just spiral out of control in kind of a Dragon Ball Z phenomenon. Edit 2: What is with everyone and those "multiple [insert weapon here]s appear around them" attacks? I don't think I've seen so many people use that at the one time before. Would be hilarious to see in a fight though (too bad I can't animate, or even draw). Edit 3: Player List is now up on the front page. For those of you who do not have your profiles completed, you must have them finished before you make your first post. If they haven't been at least started by April 16th, then I'm taking your names off of the player list and assuming that you have dropped out. If you don't get a lot of time on the computer, then at least get a name, age, gender and appearance for your character done by the 16th. The stuff that takes more time (like bio, personality and attacks/abilities) can wait until you have more time. |

@Otaku - See my previous post, where I edited my comment. @All - Okay, time to start the RP. I ask that everyone please read over the post I made just before this one, since I made a few edits. You can start wherever you please, and I will do my best to come up with extra characters that I can use to keep you busy, if you don't have anyone else around that is. I will also be taking an active role in ensuring that everyone gets to experience plot related events. Here's hoping that things turn out alright for this RP. I'll try my hardest to see that happen, seeing as how it's my first original RP in quite a long time. Finally, a big thank you to everyone who has decided to take part in this. I sincerely hope that I continue to see you all here as the RP goes on so that we can turn this in to a success. [City Ruins - Near Imelda Border] Miranda peered over the edge of the deep hole in the ground. There were remnants of a human body speared to the wall near the entrance, but she couldn't see any traces of people living in the ruins of the city. 'Could have been a coincidence. The Guild didn't mention anything about this place being guarded. Of course, they also didn't mention anything about other travelers returning from here very often.' She sighed and rubbed the back of her neck. 'I really don't want to go in there, but if this place hasn't been explored much then all the good stuff must still be laying around.' As she stood around mulling things over in her mind, two scraggy man emerged from one of the partially collapsed buildings. They slowly approached Miranda from behind, one of them stopping a few feet away and drawing his bow while the other reached for a rope on his belt. "We figured that stiff over there would have served enough of a warning to you people. Woulda' made our job a lot more relaxing if you would all just be afraid and stay away." Miranda was about to turn around, but the man with the rope had grabbed her shoulder and was keeping her in place. "Job? You guys actually get paid to sit out here in this place? Who would bother wasting that kind of money?" The man with the bow kept his firing stance, but was starting to move back a little farther to put distance between himself and the woman. "Beats us. When someone pays you for doin' nothing, why open your mouth to ask questions? Hell, we would have taken less for this job if we had known we'd get our hands on some fresh meat like you. Tie her up Sven, and for gods sake, take that weapon from her already." The other man grabbed the scythe that Miranda was holding and pulled it away in a rather irritated manner. "And just where do you get off bossin' me around like that? I don't remember you ever being put in charge of this gig. I'll be taking my turn with her first just for that." He turned back to Miranda while tossing the scythe away in the opposite direction. "Now, let's get those bandages off. You look like a blasted zombie." Miranda grumbled at the way she was being talked to and moved her hands towards her stomach in an odd fashion. The man with the bow suddenly screamed in agony and released the arrow before flopping to the ground. The arrow struck the man behind Miranda in his leg, causing him to collapse screaming as well. The scythe reappeared in Miranda's hand and she turned to face the remaining attacker. "Wow, that was way easier than last time. You guys must be the discount mercenaries. Sorry about your leg by the way, I was kind of hoping to kill you right away instead of making you suffer like that, but I guess you just had very bad luck." The man had grabbed hold of the arrow and was bracing himself to pull it out. He took a few deep breaths and yanked it out of his leg, grimacing and biting his lip as he threw it aside. "Dammit that hurts! You empty-headed wench!" "Oh come on, that wasn't my fault. Maybe if you had better manners it wouldn't have happened in the first place." With that said, she lifted her scythe and brought it down, swiftly killing the mercenary. She immediately got to work, rooting through the bodies and taking the money that they had on them. 'I guess they spent most of it. Oh well, still a pretty good amount. There just has to be something good in there if they were being paid this kind of money to watch over a desolate place like this.' She looked back at the large hole heading down into the earth and shook a little. "Doesn't help in getting the courage I need to go in there though." Miranda sighed and made her way back over to the hole to take another look in. The darkness was nothing major, but the hole itself wasn't that large of a passage, which she found unnerving. |
