Welcome to Gendou Hogwarts!! Plot: In this rp, you shall either be witches or wizard who shall receive a letter from Gendou Hogwarts. In this rp, you will go to class, play quidditch and learning magic. XD Yes this rp is based on Harry Potter. What you need to know in this rp is that harry potter and his friends will not be in it, the teachers from Hogwarts will be in this rp. You all won't start off at hogwarts immediately, you will start off at home doing your ordinary life until you receive the letter. Once you receive the letter you shall travel to London, England where Hogwarts is located and go to Diagon Alley, there you will get your supplies which means you get your own wand!! Once you got your supplies and such, go to King Cross much like in the book and movie; go through the wall of platform 9 3/4. You will of course get on the hogwarts express and go to the compartment you wish. You can meet the other students there and interact as well. Also all of your characters will be first year, not second or third year; First Year!! But if you want your character to be something other than first year, you can but only your second character is allowed to have it be over first year. Ok I best tell you about the houses, when you do your character sheet, you will list from 1 to 4 of the houses you wish to be in. That means that the houses you wish to be in will be number 1 and the one you least want to be in would be 4 and so forth. Why do this? Because, I will be sorting you into houses, so good luck on the house that you wanted. XD The teachers at hogwarts shall be NPC just to let you all know. All except for Dumbledore which I will be the only one controlling. Another thing, when you get your wand once the rp started, state what are the two material that which it is made of. The materials that is usually use to make wands are: Phoenix feather, Dragon heartstring, Veela hair, Unicorn hair, and Thestral hair Remember the wand chooses it's master. Therefore you may expect some difficulty with the wands that are not meant for you. You shall of course get your wands at the wandmaker Ollivander's shop. Houses Hogwarts is divided into four houses, each bearing the last name of its founder: Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff. The houses compete throughout the school year, by earning and losing points for various events, for the House Cup (correctly answering a question in class, for example, may earn five or ten points; lateness to class may cost ten points). Each house also has its own Quidditch team that competes for the Quidditch Cup. These two competitions breed rivalries between the houses. Houses at Hogwarts are the living and learning communities for their students. Each house is under the authority of one of the Hogwarts staff members. The Heads of the houses, as they are called, are in charge of giving their students important information, dealing with matters of severe punishment, and responding to emergencies in their houses, among other things. Each year, year level groups of every separate house share the same dormitory and classes. The dormitory and common room of a House are, barring rare exceptions, inaccessible to students belonging to other Houses. Gryffindor: Gryffindor values courage, bravery, loyalty, nerve and chivalry. Its mascot is the lion, and its colours are scarlet and gold. The Head of this house is the Transfiguration teacher, Minerva McGonagall, and the house ghost is Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington, more commonly known as Nearly Headless Nick. The founder of the house is Godric Gryffindor. The Gryffindor common room is located in one of the castle's highest towers, the entrance to which is located on the seventh floor in the east wing of the castle and is guarded by a painting of The Fat Lady, who is garbed in a pink dress. She permits entry only after being given the correct password, as was distinguished in the third book, when Sirius Black tried forcing entry into the tower, only to be blocked by The Fat Lady after he could not give the correct password. Hufflepuff: Hufflepuff values hard work, tolerance, loyalty, and fair play. The house mascot is the badger, and canary yellow and midnight black are its colours. The Head of this house is the Herbology teacher Pomona Sprout, and the house ghost is The Fat Friar. According to Rowling, Hufflepuff corresponds roughly to the element of earth. The founder of this house is Helga Hufflepuff. The Hufflepuff dormitories and common room are located somewhere in the basement. The entrance is found behind a still life painting somewhere near the kitchens, a password is required for entry. The Hufflepuff common room is filled with yellow hangings and fat armchairs and it has little underground tunnels leading to the dormitories, all of which have perfectly round doors, like barrel tops (much like a badger sett). Ravenclaw: Ravenclaw values intelligence, creativity, learning, and wit. The house mascot is an eagle and the house colours are blue and bronze (blue and grey in the films). The head of this house is the Charms professor, Filius Flitwick, and the house ghost is The Grey Lady. According to Rowling, Ravenclaw corresponds roughly to the element of air. The founder of this house is Rowena Ravenclaw. The dormitories are located in Ravenclaw Tower on the west side of the school. The common room, which went undescribed in the series until the climax of Deathly Hallows, is round and filled with blue hangings and fat armchairs, has a domed ceiling painted with stars and features a replica statue of Rowena wearing her diadem. A logical riddle must be solved to gain entry, whereas the Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Slytherin common rooms only require a password, indicating that it may be easier for intelligent students of other houses to enter this common room than others. Slytherin: Slytherin house values ambition, cunning, leadership and resourcefulness and most of all pure wizard blood. Slytherins tend to be pure-bloods or half-bloods who believe in the supremacy of pure wizard blood; Muggle-borns, vulgarly known as "Mudbloods," are less commonly found in Slytherin than in other houses. The house mascot of Slytherin is the serpent, and the house colours are green and silver. Salazar Slytherin founded the house. The Head of House is Severus Snape. The ghost of Slytherin house is The Bloody Baron. The Slytherin dormitories and common room are reached through a bare stone wall in the dungeons. The Slytherin common room is a long, low, dungeon-style room, located under the Hogwarts Lake, furnished with green lamps and carved armchairs. Subjects Numerous lessons are described, instructing the students in various branches of magic. There are twelve named teachers (each referred to as Professor), each specialising in a single subject. Transfiguration, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Charms, Potions, Astronomy, History of Magic, and Herbology are compulsory subjects for the first five years. At the end of their second year, students are required to add at least two optional subjects to their syllabus for the start of the third year. The five choices are Arithmancy, Ancient Runes, Divination, Care of Magical Creatures, and Muggle Studies. Transfiguration: Transfiguration is essentially the art of changing the properties of an object. Transfiguration is a theory-based subject, including topics such as "Switching Spells" (altering only a part of some object, such as giving a human rabbit's ears); Vanishing Spells (causing an object to completely disappear); and Conjuring Spells (creating objects out of thin air). It is possible to change inanimate objects into animate ones and vice versa. Defence Against the Dark Arts: Defence Against the Dark Arts, commonly shortened to D.A.D.A., is the class that teaches students defensive techniques to defend against the Dark Arts, and to be protected from Dark creatures. Charms: Charms is the class that teaches how to develop incantations for the uses of bewitchment. Charms as a type of magic spell concerned with giving an object new and unexpected properties. Charms classes are described as notoriously noisy and chaotic, as the lessons are largely practical. Taught by Professor Flitwick. Potions: Potions is described as the art of creating mixtures with magical effects. It requires the correct mixing and stirring of ingredients at the right times and temperatures. It is related to Chemistry, but with a more sinister twist. Snape's lessons are depicted as unhappy, oppressing times set in a gloomy dungeon in the basement of the castle. Astronomy: Astronomy is the only field of study at Hogwarts that has a direct equivalent in the Muggle world. Astronomy classes take place in the Astronomy Tower, the tallest tower in Hogwarts, and are taught by Professor Aurora Sinistra. Lessons involve observations of the night skies with telescopes. No astronomy lessons are shown in the books, but plenty of references to them. Known student homework activities include learning the names of stars, constellations and planets, and their location, movements, and environments. History of Magic: History of Magic is the study of magical history. Cuthbert Binns' lessons are depicted as some of the most boring at Hogwarts. They are only lectures, given without pause, about significant events in wizarding history. Topics have included goblin rebellions, giant wars, and the origins of wizarding secrecy. This is the only class at Hogwarts that is taught by a ghost, as the professor simply continued with his classes, despite dying. Herbology: Herbology is the study of magical plants and how to take care of, utilise and combat them. There are at least three greenhouses described in the books, holding a variety of magical plants of varying degrees of lethality. Arithmancy: Arithmancy is a branch of magic concerned with the magical properties of numbers. Arithmancy is reportedly difficult, as it requires memorising or working with large number charts. The subject is taught by Professor Vector. Ancient Runes: Ancient Runes is a generally theoretical subject that studies the ancient runic scripts. It is taught by Professor Bathsheda Babbling. Divination: Divination is the art of predicting the future. Various methods are described, including tea leaves, fire omens, crystal balls, palmistry, cartomancy (including the reading of conventional playing cards and the tarot), astrology, and dream interpretations. Divination is described by Professor McGonagall as "one of the most imprecise branches of magic". Supporters of the subject claim that it is an inexact science that requires innate gifts like the "Inner Eye". Those opposed claim that the subject is irrelevant and fraudulent. Care of Magical Creatures: Care of Magical Creatures is the class which instructs students on how to care for magical beasts. Classes are held outside the castle. the class is taken by Professor Silvanus Kettleburn who then retires "in order to enjoy more time with his remaining limbs". Dumbledore then recruits the gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid to accept a teaching position along with his gamekeeping duties. Although Hagrid is obviously very experienced and knowledgeable, he consistently misjudges the risk that the animals he uses in his lessons pose to his students, which sometimes results in chaos. At certain times when Hagrid is absent, his lessons are taken over by Professor Grubbly-Plank, a witch who is an acquaintance of Dumbledore's. Muggle Studies: Muggle Studies involves the study of the Muggle (non-magical) culture "from a wizarding point of view." The only need for witches and wizards to learn about Muggle ways and means, is to ensure they can blend in with Muggles while needing to do so (for example, at the 1994 Quidditch World Cup). Flying: Flying is the class that teaches the use of broomsticks made for the use of flying and is taught only to Hogwarts first years. The subject is the only one that requires physicality. The class is taught by Madam Hooch. Apparition: Apparition is the magical form of teleportation. Lessons are optional to those in the sixth and seventh years. Performing Apparition requires a licence and may only be legally performed by people over seventeen years of age. The described reason for the restriction is that Apparition is dangerous if done improperly: body parts can be left behind in an unfortunate side-effect known as splinching. magical enchantments on Hogwarts castle and grounds prevent Apparition and Disapparition inside the castle. First years will only have these following classes: Transfiguration, Potions, Flying, Muggle Studies, Care of Magical Creatures, Defence against the Dark Arts and Charms. Gryffindor and Slytherin tend to have classes together while ravenclaw and hufflepuff would have the same class. Reason is that I want this to be easier for you to understand. And won't confuse which class to go to next. Money: Where you get your money? You can't use money that is used by muggles in the wizardry world. The only place you can get money is at Gringott the Bank supervise by goblins in Diagon Alley. Money are ranger from Knuts to Sickles to Galleons. Coins The Galleon is the largest and most valuable coin in the British wizard currency. It is gold, round and larger than the other coins are. Around the rim of the Galleon is inscribed at least one serial number, which identifies the goblin who was responsible for minting the coin. Exchange Rate It is said that the £174 million raised for charity is equivalent to 34,000,872 Galleons, 14 Sickles, and 7 Knuts (the figure is truncated to 34,800,000 galleons in Quidditch Through the Ages). This means that £5.12 = 1 galleon.
Breeds: Pure-Blood Pure-blood is the term applied to wizards and witches who have no Muggle blood, Muggle borns, half-bloods or "blood traitors" at all in their genealogical pedigree. Although technically, pure-bloods have no Muggle ancestors, the small wizarding population means that "true" pure-bloods are rare or even non-existent, with most just ignoring or disowning the few Muggles in their family. Known Pure-blood families include the Blacks, the Lestranges, the Crouches, the Gaunts, the Longbottoms, the Malfoys, the Potters (although the blood purity of the Potters seems to stop with James, who married Muggle-born Lily Evans), and the Weasleys (although considered blood traitors because of their tolerance of Muggles; their blood purity, at least in Ron's branch of the family, stopped when Bill married Fleur Delacour as she was part-veela). To maintain their blood purity, supremacist families have been known to inbreed into their own families by marrying their cousins; this results in mental instability and violent natures. Pure-blood supremacists believe blood purity is a measure of a wizard's magical ability. Supremacists apply the term "blood traitor" to pure-bloods who harbour no prejudice against non-pure-bloods (enjoying their presence and relations with them). Half-Blood Half-blood' refers to those wizards and witches who have at least one Muggle parent or grandparent, or have recent Muggle ancestors in their family trees. Half-bloods are the most common wizard blood, far outnumbering pure-bloods and Muggle-borns. Pure-blood supremacists view half-bloods as inferior to them, although superior to Muggles and Muggle-borns. The Hogwarts annual intake, 50% are half-bloods. Muggle-Born Muggle-born is the term applied to wizards and witches who come from non-magical parents. The average Hogwarts annual intake for Muggle-borns is 25%. Supremacists typically believe Muggle-borns to be magically deficient, despite counter-examples, such as Hermione Granger and Lily Evans, who are exceptionally skilled in their abilities. Pure-blood supremacists refer to Muggle-borns with the offensive derogatory term Mudblood. Squibs Squib is the term applied to a child born of magical parents but having no magical ability; they are considered to be the opposite of Muggle-born wizards/witches. Squib births are rare anomalies: the only squibs noted as such in the books are Argus Filch, Arabella Figg, Kavea, Luke Thompson, Ariana Dumbledore, and Molly Weasley's second cousin who was an accountant. The Ministry of Magic does not require them to be registered as part of the Magical Community. Squibs share some things with wizards and they are aware of and comprehend the wizarding world. They also can see Hogwarts, which ordinary Muggles cannot. However, according to Ron's Aunt Muriel, the custom with Squibs has been to send them to Muggle schools and encourage them to integrate into the Muggle world, which is "much kinder" than keeping them in the magical world, where they will always be "second-class". In contrast to most of the wizarding world's acceptance and even respect for Muggles and Muggle-born wizards, it is often considered embarrassing to have a Squib in the family. Mixed-Species Some wizards are the products of unions between humans and magical creatures of human or near-human intelligence, such as Fleur Delacour and her sister Gabrielle (both part Veela) and Hagrid (half giant). In wizard parlance, a creature with human intelligence – including a person – is called a "being". Known beings capable of breeding with humans include goblins, giants, and Veela. Prejudiced wizards (such as Umbridge) often use the insulting term half-breed to refer to mixed-species wizards and werewolves, or other beings such as merpeople and centaurs (who are separate species) because of their part-human and part-beast appearances and "near-human intelligence". The Centaurs within the series prefer to exist amongst themselves, with little interaction with humans. Governments and Politics The Ministry of Magic is the government for the magical community of Britain. Education Before Hogwarts There appears to be no official precursory education; apparently, wizard parents home-school their children in basic non-magical topics, such as literacy and arithmetic. Muggle-born wizards (or Muggle raised wizards), however, clearly experience an ordinary Muggle primary education before enrolling at Hogwarts, something that could be viewed as either a cognitive edge or disadvantage. There are also no compulsory educational laws that exist in the British Wizarding World. Parents may continue to home-school their children, send them to Hogwarts, or send them abroad to other wizarding schools. However, during the time Voldemort had overthrown the Ministry of Magic, attendance at Hogwarts was compulsory, so that his followers could have complete control over the wizarding youth. After Hogwarts Following completion of a Hogwarts education, there is no standard tertiary education, and there are no wizard universities. Successful Hogwarts students are considered ready to function as adults, though some wizarding professions do require special, years-long training programmes after finishing Hogwarts. These include the professions of the Auror and the Healer (the wizard physician). Sometimes, the young wizards travel the world to "observe foreign witches and wizards" after graduation to complete their education. Wizarding Examination Authority The Wizarding Examinations Authority is an organisation responsible for examining students in their fifth and seventh years taking their O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. exams. The head, Griselda Marchbanks, is an elderly witch who examined a school-aged Dumbledore in his N.E.W.T.s. He always end up embarrassing the teachers who thought he was not paying attention and ask him about a specific questions that were taught. Because of this, he is occasionally called a Genius. Name: Davis Maloney Gender: Male Age: 11 Nationality: Irish Houses: 1) Ravenclaw 2) Hufflepuff 3) Gryffindor 4) Slytherin Breed: Pure-Blood Abilities: - Davis is very intelligent, like his sister Irena. - Unknown to most people, Davis has an amazing voice and is an excellent singer. Hobbies: Reading Personality: Quiet and shy, a vast contrast to Irena's confident personality. But, like Irena, Davis is also very intelligent. Bio: Davis is a very shy young boy because he has a lack of confidence in himself; he feels as though he will never be as good as his older sister, Irena. Davis is very intelligent like his sister, and because of this he hopes to get into Ravenclaw. He does not want to be in Slytherin because he knows that there he will always be in the shadow of his sister. He tells everyone that he wants to be in Slytherin, but that isn't the truth, he only says so to make his family happy. Since Irena was the first born of her family, her family tradition is to pass down a staff for the first born to use instead of a wand. It is made out of a material so that will never break, and it also slightly heightens the strength of any spells cast with it. Other than that, the staff is similar to a wand, and like a wand the staff always knows it's owner, which is always the first born of each generation of the Maloney family. Irena uses this in Quidditch as well. - Irena is very intelligent, and got O's for most of the O.W.L.'s she took. Hobbies: Quidditch and reading. Personality: Irena very confident and intelligent, she will do anything in order to succeed. Bio: Irena grew up as normal as a pure-blood can grow up until she first came to Hogwarts. When she arrived there, Irena did extremely good at her very first flying class, which is when she decided to try to play Quidditch. Irena is very good at Quidditch, and she has always been a seeker. Irena hardly ever gets stressed because of school or Quidditch, and takes things as they come to her. Orihime has also demonstrated that she is perceptive when it comes to people's mental and emotional state, especially in regards to Ulquiorra Schiffer, able to tell what kind of driving force is pushing someone. Bio: Born as the second child in the Potter family. Her name came from James's old caretaker who took care of him as a baby. She never really knew her brother well before he left their home. Her parents were left broken hearted and in despair at what their actions caused. As such, they showered her with love but made sure not to let her grow arrogant. They did not want to lose another child because of their own hands. @Roxas, for your character profile, if you didn't read the rules. Your first character must be at least 11 years old and your second character can be over 11. Therefore your character Ulquiorra should be your second character not your first. Also for your first character which is Orihime Potter, please edit the ability: Control, if you recall, wizards are not allowed to use magic outside of school which are children under 18 are currently not allowed to use magic, please change it. Also change the quidditch part of flying, for first year have yet to learn to fly yet until they start class, and first year are not allowed to be in quidditch team until second year. As for your questions; the Defense against the Dark Arts is still Quirrel. The time for this rp is the time in the movie when harry start his first year at hogwarts. Therefore Muggle studies professor is still the same. Also please try to have your second character less gloomy. XD @Kangaruu: Please change your abilities of master weapon handler: your character is 11 years old, so it is unlikely he is a master at weapon handler, so please change that, also your quidditch tactical expert: 11 year who is about to go to hogwarts have yet to know how to fly a broomstick so he can't be a tactical expert. Please more closely on your character's abilities seeing that he is only 11 years old. |

@Zero - Err, does it really matter about the arrangement? --' Orihime is the 1st character and Ulquiorra is the 2nd. Its just the way I arranged them as I got the ideas in that order. -Actually, students CAN learn flying outside of school if their parents allow it. This is because it is not magic but simply using an enchanted object. It all depends on the parent and with a Quidditch mad parent like James, obviously he's played a few games with his daughter. -Also, if the student is truly exceptional, then they CAN join their teams on the first year. However they need permission from their parents/guardians. As Ulquiorra "SCHIFFER" is listed as having no parents, his head of house can make such decisions for him. -I'll adjust Control so that she only discovers it at school. -muahahahah! Ulquiorra is the embodiment of despair. Heck, look at the type of material used for his wand. Don't worry, it wont be all doom and gloom. Ulquiorra friends: Cedric Diggory(Huffelpuff), Archedies Montague(Ravenclaw) and Stephanie Greengrass(Slytherin) will provide more then enough comedic relief. -Also you did not answer my question. Is Voldermort still the same as the storyline? Is so, is there a Boy Who Lived? -finally, I want to correct you a bit: "Gryffindor and Slytherin tend to have classes together while ravenclaw and hufflepuff would have the same class." This is not completely true. For example, in Harry's years Gryffindor and Slytherin do share Defense but one of the older Weasleys (cant remember which) mentioned that their defense class had hufflepuff's in it. Therefore class sharing is often random and up to the teacher who sets the lessons. @Landon- Err, dude. If I remembered my potter-verse right, there already is a strong ice freezing charm called "Glacius" that can duplicate the effects of the potion that Iceman created. |

For those who don't know, the grading system aren't As or Bs or Cs and so on. The grades are...O, E, A, P, D, T. Here, have a link. O.W.L. N.E.W.T. Click on those, it's mandatory info for those who has a chara that aren't first years. Here, some more useful and will help you infos. Wands At the end of the second year, students must take 2 or more extra courses for their 3rd year. Students may take all of them, and drop some, at the end of their third year(they must consult their house head for a Time-Turner to attend all of the classes(link below)). The extra classes that are taken will be in O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s(if the teacher lets you, some teachers only allow Es or Os for their N.E.W.T. class) List of extras Time-Turner Also, by "Harry Potter and his friends", I'm sure you mean just the trio. @aoi, when I said harry and his friends won't be in this rp, that includes malfoy and the others. Only the professors, Hagrid and Dumbledore will be in this rp. As for the voldemort. . . he won't exactly be in this rp and yet he will be. XD @all I'm going to start the rp now. In one stormy night, a figure walked along the sidewalk down the path of England. He then disappeared and now reappear within the manor of Taru. Alarms can be heard, yet the people that face him had all end up dead. The man's goal is unknown. The man enter to what seem to be a treasure chamber, in the middle of the chamber lies a object glowing bright orange and yellow like the rays of the sun and the colour of flames. ???Man: At last the apostles of flames is mine!! ???: I won't let you take it!! The mysterious man turns around and is now facing the lord of this manor, Alexander Taru. ???man: As if you can stop me. Instead of replying, Alexander cast a spell instead as he did, the apostles of flames began burning brightly. ???man: What in the?! The mysterious look at the apostles of flames, but it is no longer there once the light resided. The mysterious man furious turns towards Alexander to see him holding to what seem like a baby. What caught his attention is the fact that the baby is glowing in the same brightness as the apostles of flames. ???man: What in the world did you do?!!! The mysterious man took out his wand and shouted the death spell. A flash of green light is seen, all could be seen when the light resided is alexander holding the baby infront of him but the mysterious man is nowhere to be seen. Footsteps can be heard. Alexander turn around as Dumbledore appears. Dumbledore: Is he- Alexander: Dead? Yeah you could say that. Dumbledore: You use the spell I presume. Alexander nodded. Alexander: I would have been dead if it wasn't for Giotto. Dumbledore: This child will one day make a name for himself, for he had defeated the worlds fearful wizard of all times. Alexander nodded as both of them looked down at the child name Giotto. Alexander: Yes he is definitely my son called, Giotto Taru. . . [Giotto Taru|Italy| Taru Manor|Morning] Morning have come, I slowly got up and stretched as always. I got up and did my morning routine before heading the stairs to the dining room where I always have my meals. I walked into the dining room and saw that my father and mother is already there. "Morning Dad, Mom" Alexander(Dad) & Eliza(mom): Morning I sat down at my seat and was about to eat when I was interrupted by my father. Alexander: There is a letter for you. A letter? I hardly receive any letter. . .Strange for me to receive one. I took the letter from my father's hands and look at the envelope which read: Mr. Giotto Taru along with the address to my house and such. The wax seal has an H on it. I carefully open the letter and looked through the contents. Dear Mr. Taru, We are pleased to inform you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcrafts and Wizardry. Please find enclose a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31. Yours Sincerely, Minerva McGonagall "Wow I got accepted into Hogwarts Dad!!" Alexander: Congrats, son. "Dad, you went to hogwarts right?" Alexander: Indeed I did, it is where I met your mother. So what will you need for this year son? "Hmm. . .let me see. . ." I look at the enclosed list. " It seems that I need: - 3 sets of plain work robes (black) - 1 plain pointed hat (black) - 1 pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar) - 1 winter coat (black, silver fastenings) - 1 wand - 1 cauldron (pewter, standard size 2) - 1 telescope - 1 set brass scales Books: -The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 1) -A History of Magic -Magical Theory -A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration -One Thousand Herbs and Fungi -Magical Drafts and Potions -Fantastical Beasts and Where to Find Them -The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection Students can also bring a owl or a cat or a toad" Alexander: Looks like we are heading off to london to Diagon Alley My mother nodded. Alexander: Alright, son go pack your things for you will be staying there for a whole year. Also don't pack any electronics. Machines and electronics don't work at hogwarts. "K" I quickly ran up my room to pack. I was minding my own business when suddenly I saw an owl flying towards me, it landed on a window ledge while holding a letter in it's beak. Looks like it is almost time to head back to Hogwarts. I took the letter and tore it open. I quickly look through the content and look at the list that I will need for this year at hogwart. "Time to head over to Diagon Alley. Once I pack" I went off to pack. @all; just to let you all know your first post is the time when you receive your letter, then on the second post is where you all should head to Diagon Alley to get your supplies, which means you get your own wand in the second post. The mailman came by my house and with the sounding of his horn, he cycled away. 'Erika, get the mail please,' my father beckoned from the attic. 'Sorry Sieghart dear, I'm busy making breakfast. Joey, could you be a dear and get the mail please?' Mother asked. 'Okay mother.' I replied I walked up to the mailbox and took the letters. I then got back into my home and lay them on the table. Then, a letter caught my attention. The letter was sealed with wax and had a logo that had the words Hogwarts. Out of curiosity, i opened the letter. I then began reading the letter. Dear Mr. Griffin, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31. I then continued reading the letter. The equipment required were as followed. Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags. I would also require a wand, a cauldron (pewter, standard size 2), a set glass or crystal phials, a telescope and a set of brass scales. 'Not allowed to bring my own broomstick?' I groaned. 'What's seems to be the matter Joey?' my father questioned. 'Oh, it seems that you've finally received the letter to attend Hogwarts. Congrats my son.' 'What's the commotion about?' mother asked. 'Why, our son has finally been given the acceptance letter to Hogwarts.' Father smiled. 'Great, just when I was thinking of sending him back to Japan to go through a more advanced ninja training.' My mother said. 'Son, pack your things. We're going to Diagon Alley,' Father said. 'Okay!' I said in excitement. So I rushed upstairs to pack my stuff into a haversack. I then walked downstairs where my father was waiting for me. 'We're going to use floo powder, are u ready son?' Father exclaimed. 'Yep!' I responded with gusto. We then walked into the fireplace and we were on our way. |
