As for me, ARGENTINA ALL THE WAY! I was very impressed with Vincent ENYEAMA's performance, he's the best goalkeeper in FIFA this year yet. Won't be surprised if major clubs would buy him after World Cup has ended. |

Up here in Canada the games are shown on the CBC but we have multiple channels that we can watch for hilites & analysis (Sportsnet/TSN/The Score). So canada has the world cup covered, which is very good for fans. Personally don't have a fave team, all i care for is great soccer/football/futbol with showings of athletism and goal! Just like the Argentina & Nigeria game. The game could've been lopsided if it weren't for the Nigerian keeper Enyeama making numerous outstanding saves. Messi alone is going to have nightmares about him :D As for England...once again they find a way to dash the hopes of a nation. Almost every worldcup/eurocup the team under performs. On paper there is no way the US matches up to England but games are played on the field & not on paper. In all truth it was fortunate that England came out with the draw since at times the US had great chances to win the game. I wasn't suprised that Green let that one in, he has done that 4-5 times during the season in the premier league, the most of any keeper. That was simply unacceptable in this stage of competition & clearly shows a lack of concentration. English fans are going to haunt him for the rest of his life if they don't do well in the tournament. S. Korea was impressive while the Greeks looked unorganized and not interested in the game. Tommorrow will be great. Germany should handle Australia. Serbia & Ghana will be a humdinger since they are evenly matched. The only weak game is the Algeria vs. Slovenia both making there 2nd world cups and looking for their first wins. |

@Haseo You can catch it on ESPN, or you can just catch the LIVE Stream match here. :D @Dfly Yeah, I watched the game last night. England was just...meh, shame on them. So much for their Premier Leagues, they can't live up to expectations. @Izumo Have to agree with you, matches are played on field not on papers, anything can happen in the game. England has not been performing well and I can say that USA's team for this year gotta be one of their best. Pre-game statistics shows that England will most likely win the match but USA proved that wrong. Currently, South Korea and Argentina has the highest points. |

@ Unico-san Yup at any time any team can beat another team, that is what is so great about sports. Yes this is probably the best US team to take the field in a long time but still England 'on paper' is the superior team. If it weren't for a bonehead play by Green England should've won 1-0. Been watching the hilites & analysis while being online that goal will be played on english TV for a long time or at least until their next game. One of the channels (the Score) has 2 english commentators & even they are baffled on how that goal went in. They were supposed to be bias but it was amusing seeing them rip into Green & the team overall. I also was able to see some soccer/football/futbol forums & you should read what the english fans are saying....*whistle*....not pretty. |

Yeah I heard England failed big time today with something with their goalie or something. I've read facebook statuses all day long while doing finals. I'd tune in at least but no ESPN at the dorms. -_-" I want to watch South Korea. Asia needs to improve their soccer teams. Japan never really does well, or maybe they get matched up against better teams too early? No worries, Asia owns World Baseball anyways... XD ------- |

Germany thrashed Australia 4-0 last night, I say we have another potential World Cup Champion candidate. @DA Well, yeah, Asian teams definitely need to improve, even Australia is lagging. The only Asian soccer/football team I've seen that gone far or have the potential to go far for this world cup is South Korea. |

I'm supporting America, Australia, and South Africa... three countries that don't even consider soccer, or foot ball, their main sport... haha. My question is, why is South Africa hosting the world cup champion chip if all they really want to play is Rugby? My friend from South Africa was talking about it and I really got to wondering about it. |

[@Unico] Yeah I guess, but you can't be judgemental after just one game though. Brazil, every time Soccer is involved, is ALWAYS a threat. I watched the highlights of that South Korea game though, they did play pretty well. I did watch the one event last year or something, I forget, where Brazil beat USA and won something. I also saw the USA/England game, that must be so heart breaking for that goalie, but even so nobody "won" so if USA think they did, they're heavily mistaken. ------- |

not only green do the mistake, if you see Slovenia's game... and Ghana's goalkeeper almost did the same mistake |
