Backstory: The year was 2070 when the UN began a joint research project to make superhumans. The task of these so called superhumans were to perform the jobs that would be too hard for normal people. For example, they would have one be able to resist so much pressure they could go to the bottom of the Mariana's Trench; the deepest part in the entire ocean. Or maybe even have such great endurance they could run across an entire country without stopping. There were 3 representatives from every continent, except Antartica. It took the scientists 5 years to get the very first successful superhuman. They had not thought of a name for these superhumans until that day. One of the European scientists came up with the name "Aeternalis," the everlasting. After their first success, they began experimenting on able bodied people and turning them into Aeternalis. Over that time, 9 in all were created. In the next following months, while the Aeternalis were still on lockdown, the very first Aeternalis broke out of it's pod and caused havoc in the laboratory. Feeling they should be free, the prototype who had now been tweaked to be just like the other Aeternalis set the others free. They escaped from their prison, and the military of all the nations has been charged in finding them, bringing them back to the lab, or killing them. This was a very big deal, because in order to give them their strengths, they had to edit their primal instincts, and that was to destroy the world. Their instincts can only be activated by strife and violence inflicted upon them. The scientists never thought that it would happen, but their escape now put the world at risk. After the Aeternalis escaped, the scientists made one more, bringing the total to 10. That Aeternalis was not like its counterparts; its mission was to find, and kill the others. The refugees spread out across the world, some going in pairs, some not. Their whereabouts are unknown, so the governments are going to find them, at all cost, before their primal instincts awaken, and they begin the destruction of the world. Rules: -Normal Gendou rules apply. -Absolutely no god-modding or invincible characters. Even the Aeternalis will have limits. -2 Characters at most. -There may only be 10 Aeternalis in total, the nine refugees and the one military one. -No controlling other people's characters. The Aeternalis tends to avoid danger and only fights when necesarry or feels it is threatened. Level 2: Awakened by stressful combat of any type. The Aeternalis now feels the need fight more and run less. Level 3: Awakened by exessive fighting and constant threatening situations. Unexplainable powers begin to show in the Aeternalis. Also, the Primal begins to show up. They Aeternalis only shifts into this form in life threatening situations. The Aeternalis now, never runs, but holds it's ground and fights. It only runs if it needs to. Level 4: Awakened by nonstop fighting. The Aeternalis begins to get a better grasp over the unexplainable power. Their primal form begins to take them over when faced in life threatening situation still. The Aeternalis now, does not run until heavy damage is sustained. Level 5: Awakened by the Aeternalis killing numerous people. The unexplainable power has been mastered. The Aeternalis morphs into Primal mode whenever it fights now. Their consciousness begans to deteriorate as the primal instincts begin to take control. The Aeternalis never runs now. it has no need to. Level 6: Awakened by the Aeternalis feeling hatred towards a large amount of people as well killing more and more people. The Aeternalis has achieved its perfect form. It is now a weapon of mass destruction. The Aternalis' primal form is now it's regular form, and they now have no consciousness. They only feel like destroying civilazation. The Aeternalis destroys anything in its path; if their's anything or anyone brave enough to get in its way. As the Aeternalis grows in primal instinct levels, it's hunger for fighting grows more and more. With the hunger growing more and more, level ups are achieved at a faster rate. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MY CHARACTERS -Name: James Cartwright -Role: Refugee Aeternalis -Nationality: American -Gender: Male -Age: 25 -Rank: N/A -Peronality: Crafty, Cunning, Protective -Bio: James had a normal childhood and upbrining. It wasn't until he joined the military and volunteered for the Angelus Project that his life got flipped upside down. They were going to try and make a super soldier; reflexes fast enougnt to dodge a bullet, and strength enough to punch a whole in an armored van. The scientists graciously accepted him as a lab rat, and ran all the tests necesarry to0 see if he would live the experiment. He passed all the tests. This was when he was tenty. The test wasn't completed until he was 25. During this time, James was placed in a coma so the time would pass quicker to him, and he wouldn't have to be awake, in a laboratory for five years straight. They fed him and gave him liquid through IV's in the pod he was in. After the experiment, james felt great, like he could stop a bus and dodge a bullet. They put both of those to the test. He stopped a bus driving at 60 miles an hour with using both of his arms. he also dodge a bullet. However, they tested to see how close they enemy could get before the bullet would hit. That cap, was 10 feet. He found at the hard way, and got hit in the right shoulder. The bullet lodge itself inbetween the bones and rendered the superhuman strength in his right arm immobile. The scientists performed surgey and had the bullet removed, but his right arm was still dormant. They scientists didn't know if he'd ever regain his power in that arm. As time passed, the scientists made more Aeternalis, and he began to see what a horrible life they would live. They would be forced to work nonstop, they'd never get to have a family, or settle down, the countires would just use them. While realizing this, the scientists tweaked James so that his abilities would be on the same as his Aeternalis counterparts. it was then that James lashed out and began to destroy the laboratory and setting the other Aeternalis free. It was then that his primal instinct evolved to level 2. The Aeternlis went their seperate ways, some going in pairs, some by themselves. James, however was in a pair, he was with one of the few female Aeternalis. James thought he had destroyed all the records for the experiment, but there was a copy, and the scientists used that to build an Aeternalis to capture the others. Rumors say james was wandering around France. -Appearance: [Ref: Byakuran from Katekyo Hitman Reborn!] -Special Skill(s): -Heightened Reflexes [his reactime has been increased by ten fold, causing his reflexes to almost able to dodge a bullet from 10 feet away] -Heigtened Strength [His muscles can grow instantly stronger and larger at will. He's strong enough to lift a lead beam that's 20 feet long and 6 inches in width. This is only on one of his arms however, the other one is normal] -Mark: On appearance -Position of Mark: Under his left eye. -Primal Instinct: Level 2 -Name: Patch Cartwright -Role: Military -Nationality: American -Gender: Male -Age: 22 -Rank: General; Commander of the USA forces charged in capturing the Aeternalis -Peronality: Calm, Inquisitive, Clever -Bio: Patch grew up in the shadow of his older brother James, and want to be just as good at averything as James was. James was always protective of Patch until Patch was old enough to fend for himself. when they grew older, and James decided to become the pototype Aeternalis, Patch warned him not too, but James ignored him. After James and the other Aeternalis escaped, patch was now, the general of his force and he was put in charge of The USA division of the Aeternalis Capture Program. His division is in charge of tracking down, his brother and either kill him, or bring him in alive. Has anger problems. -Bio : Makoto is an orphan and a troubled kid when he was at 9. At the age of 24 he was becomed a subject for Angelus Project. But things doesn't goes along with him. His cold personality makes the scientist hard to analyze him. One day, the 1st Aeternalis broke out of it's pod and create havoc in the laboratory, also giving chance the other Aeternalis to set free. Makoto was the same, but not quite. When he's trying to escape, few of the armies attacked him, at his unstable emotion condition. This causing him to attack the army and killed them. He then ran away somewhere at Southern Japan. -Appearance : Note : Appearance reference from Shiki Tohno - Tsukihime. -Special Skills : Note : These skills are only abilities. 1) Dragon's Skin : His skin is as tough as a dragon, protecting him from minor to medium attacks. -Name: Fenris Imperator, Codename: Nemesis -Role: Military Aeternalis -Nationality: Finnish -Gender: Male -Age: 23 -Rank: Sargeant, but in the case of Aeternalis sightings he is allowed to act independantly. -Personality: He is a rather humorous person, especially considering what he is and what he was made for. -Bio: Fenris has served in the military since he was 18, but he has refused promotions instead wishing to stay as sargeant and lead men in the field. He was scouted for Aeternalis project after the original 9 escaped and he was transformed into something different from normal humans. Now he has been charged with finding and killing the escaped Aeternalis, he isn't exactly thrilled at this, but it seems he will do his duty regardless. -Appearance: -Special Skills: Eternal Warrior: Fenris has had all of his physical abilities heightened, most of them having increased to above human levels, but his stamina and endurance are off the charts. [Edit] -Name: Madeline Salluit -Role: Military -Nationality: French Canadian -Gender: Female -Age: 20 -Rank: Lieutenant General (Canadian Land Forces Command) -Personality: Usually quiet, thoughtful, and keeps to herself, however when it comes to finding the Aeternalis she can be very aggressive. She is very intelligent for her age. When she becomes aggressive or nervous, her French accent becomes very noticible. -Bio: Born and raised in Terrebon, Quebec, Madeline is the granddaughter of a Quebec governor. Her father being the governor's only son, had been expected to become great just like his father had, however he had failed to do so. Because of the pressure he had on him, Madeline's father fled from his home in British Columbia to Quebec, where he met Madeline's mother and also changed his name so no one would suspect who he really was. Madeline had always felt she has to make up for her father's mistakes, so she joined the military and rose up to become one of the Canadian Military's top leaders in a very short amount of time due to her intelligence. She currently lives in Manitoba, in the city of Winnipeg. When she was seventeen she escaped from an abusive foster family and rather than do what most girls on the street in Russia do- become a prostitute or beggar, she pretended to be nineteen and illegally joined the army. (that was two years ago her actual age is displayed above) As the army was such a major force in Russia it was decided that their candidate for the project would be a soldier, Sveta was chosen because she was young, pretty, easy to control and loyal(or so they thought) and if something went wrong no-one would miss her. However when the time came she quickly switched her allegiance to her fellow refugees and escaped. Appearance: (Yuffie from FF) Special Skills: Electrically Charged: Making use of the bodies' unawakened ability to to store electricity (as it is made up of seventy percent water- a conductor) Sveta can be "charged" by draining electricity from a power source. Then she can manipulate it and unleash it at her will, however her supply quickly runs out. (later on she may be able to produce her own, i hope this is ok and not too unrealistic :D) Enhanced Pheromones: This is an ability Sveta HATES to the point that she usually denies it's existence and claims to be a failed experiment possessing only one power. She never willingly uses it. At will her body can give off pheromones that will make anyone fall instantly and totally in love with her, she then has full control over them. Kinda find something interesting in this RP. mind if i join? Name: Fatima Assilmia (Silmi) Role: Refugee Aeternalis Nationality: Indonesia Gender: Female Age: 30 Rank: N/A Peronality: hot tempered, carefree, but a kind and mother Bio: Silmi were taken to the laboratory by force. She has a weak body and since she gave birth of her only daughter, Nadia, she become weaker and tend to sick. Because of that she’s taken to a government hospital where her husband works, leaving her daughter on her husband’s care. But then, she’s forcefully taken to the laboratory in the middle of her medication. There, they do a lot of experiment on her, call it ‘Perfect Shield’ project, which also under some project named Aeternalis. A long experiment, test, torture, and pain almost drive her crazy, the only thing make her could bear all of those are the memory of her daughter. When a havoc happened and all Aeternalis manage to run away from the facility, she run away know no where to go. All she knows is to find her daughter whose whereabouts is unknown the same as her husband who disappear. Then she set on journey to find her daughter while running away from government military and bounty hunters. Because of her very bad experience dealing with government, she trust no one, because anyone can be a soldier in disguise or bounty hunters that hunt over her head. The only things she could use to save her life is, ironically, the ability she got in the laboratory, Ability to produce and control over carbon substance from her body. She also able to control the production and work of her own organs which allow her to push and integrate them with each other till the maximum level that normal human can’t reach normally. But because naturally her body is weak, although it has been enhanced she still have a limit which will cause a harm to her body if she exceed that limit too often. Special Skills: Black Pearl Her body is able to produce a large amount of carbon and she can freely alter the shape, density and atomic arrangement of that substance. Organs Integration She’s able to freely integrate and control over all of her organs productivity and strength both push them far from normal human limit or shut them down completely, muscle, lungs, nerves, senses, etc. But overuse may cause damage to her own body. Ooh, neat. mind if I join? :] Name: Adrian Permana Zen Role: Refugee Aeternalis Nationality: Indonesian Gender: Male Age: 39 Rank: N/A Personality: Kind, caring and secretive. Bio: A doctor with rather minimum medical knowledge, he never finished his medical education due to some circumstances happened in his living place. He only got his job as the refugees’ doctor because once he’s been modified into an Aeternalis, the scientists tweaked with his original venom-producing ability and also made him able to take in any kind of diseases and poison in his blood for them to research on. Bottom line, he became a ‘Disease-Dumping’ person. Sick and tired of being injected with new diseases and poisons everyday by those crazy military scientists, and due to the outbreak of the Aeternalis, he escaped. Now, he became a well-known doctor between lowlife people and refugees, all the while only admitting to people that he’s a doctor who's very good at healing people and cure diseases. He hid the fact that he can actually produce venom, because, well... Nobody really wants someone who can excrete poison taking care of sick people. Special Skills: Venomous Excretion – Adrian can produce massive amounts of poison in gas or liquid form from his entire body that will attack the neural system once it enters one’s body. If it only touches the skin, his poison will only give the touched skin an extremely itchy and irritating rash. The poison will inflict pain on anyone upon entering the body, and the more poison enters one’s body, the more pain he/she will feel. But, despite the massive amount of pain this poison will give, it cannot produce enough pain to actually kill a human adult. Empathic Heal – Adrian can cure a person from diseases and mediocre wounds by absorbing the disease-carrying bacteria, toxics and viruses from the said person, and accelerate their cell metabolism, by touching their skin. But doing this way too much will cause his own venom to react and made his body metabolism unstable, rendering him to catch a fever and unable to produce his venom for a while. Name: Victor White -Role: Military -Nationality: Canadian -Gender: Male -Age: 23 -Rank: Commodore (Canadian Forces Maritime Command) -Peronality: Kind towards women and generally well mannered among others, he is mostly indifferent towards most situations. He is usually quiet and calm, although some of the other officers see him as perpetually tired and dull. -Bio: His life has generally been uninteresting and uneventful. During his short time in the military he rose through the ranks mostly through his work during small operations around the world. Despite being a gifted marksman, he avoided the Army in hopes of staying away from the front lines on the ground. He has remained single mostly due his shyness towards women and to avoid dating others within his ranks. He was called away from his office work in the Canadian Forces to assist in the outbreak of the super human subjects. -Appearance: - He normally wears a black trench coat with his rank insignia on the shoulders (he has one made of light material for warmer temperatures and one made of leather for colder environments) as well as dress pants and a dress shirt. He only dresses in his actual military uniform during ceremonies and on military operations, although he still wears his coats when on board a ship. Weapons: Barret M82A1 (Sniper Rifle/Anti-Material Rifle. On loan from American Forces), H&K G36 (Assault Rifle with Telescopic Sight. Purchased for mission) I think that's everything.

@haseo : fixed, bio's up and might good to go, let me know if the bio's looking fishy. btw, you should check at zero's primal instinct level (unless he have something on his sleeve which you have knew, you can ignore this.) But here's a question, where did the Aeternalis experiment takes place??? Note : I'll wont be on for a day or few, You guys can start without me, I'll be catching up.

@haseo - Yeah I'm kind of wondering the same thing as PHS, where exactly did the experiments take place? One of your characters is said to be roaming France, but I would imagine Air and Sea travel would be difficult if the UN is searching for these characters. Also, is my profile okay? You never said anything about it so I'm not sure if you've seen it.

Oh I didn't notice that, thanks for the heads up. And about the experiment, I'll explain that in my first post so don't worry.
