PS2 ports to the PSP

So here's the thing:

Until recently, Sony acknowledged to support the PSP and release a new portable system: PSP GO. Sony is porting a couple of titles from their PS2 library. You have probably seen some of them:

- Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
- Warriors Orochi

... and the like. We have seen them do the same thing with games from the PSP to the PS2. But it's really something if they managed to port their titles to the PSP.

Currently there are some titles that were ported from the PS2 that will be released sometime this year. Namely, the sequels of what I previously mentioned.

Right now there is another title that was ported and is recently out right now in Japan which is Armored Core 3.

Impressive isn't it? And it was mentioned additional content is added to the psp port. Yeah, the graphics are toned down a bit. But what did you expect?

I could probably guess that a lot of people are really hoping for more titles to be ported if they continue to release more. And there is one rumor that really caught my attention. Persona 3.

If it was true. I would really want to see how they would manage that one.

Persona 3 for PSP is already confirmed. There's going to be a new character as well, although it may just be a female version of the main character as kind of a 'pick your gender' option like Pokemon.

Is it FES? I was planning on getting FES later on when I have the money for it. So if it is I would be getting it.

Since it is confirmed what's the news with P2? Are they planning on remakes for it?

I wonder what PS2 titles might be coming to the psp.

No word on 2, at least not yet.

As far as I can tell, P3 for the PSP will have all the content of FES, except with a new female character of some sorts.

Leaked gameplay footage?

Rhen_Var of GSpot also notes that:

Features include:

* Players can now choose their own genders! Meaning, male dormer S.links open up! Junpei, Akihiko...and Ken
* From the comfort of P4, you can now directly command your party members! The improved option of AI is still available.
* New scenes added! An absolute must to keep things fresh.
* 5 Difficulties for the newly enteries of Beginner to the veteran madness of the Maniacs mode.
* New town interface, instead of moving your character around you use a cursor. A necessary sacrifice for new content.
* The dominant use of Pink for the Female protagonist.
* Shoji Meguro returns with new tracks! (I love you Shoji Meguro!)

I'm eagerly anticipating the Disgaea 2 remake coming this September i hear!! Also Fate/Unlimited Code will be ready by then as well!

Some great games coming for the PSP....to bad it is still being under appreciated by the mass puplic....and the $250 price tag of the PSP Go won't help it gain more fanbase.

How about something other than rehashed ports?

If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.
