CANAAN - a new anime

yo! um... i was on zomganime and i saw the first opening of CANAAN encripted on its front page news bulletin. it looked interesting, so i watched the first episode and it turned out pretty good. i like it, and now i want to download it. heh. plus i was wondering if we could suggest animes to be added to the episodes list :D yups. TY! and have a wonderful dayyyyyy! :)

Probably my most anticipated anime series for the summer season...though Princess Lover is a close second. One of the few visual novels i have yet to play though i do know that the anime is sorta a prequel or sequel to the original game. Being from the minds that brought us Fate & Tsukihime there is very little doubt that this won't live up to expectations or even surpass them. Nasu-san is a genius storyteller & Takeuchi-san's character designs are as good as ever. From the opening song (which is awesome btw) to the very high production values..the animation & effects so far are of very high quality! Add in some top-notch seiyuu's & you have the making of a classic.  |

after watching first episode, it kinda give me the vibes of noir or madlax. Another girl with guns series xD Considering Type-Moon took part of this series, i expect this to be one of the most epic series this summer

This is one of the great series I'm gonna follow this season! Girls with gun, why not!? Awesome quality. Character design and all. Definitely a must watch series. Basically anime this season a.k.a year are full of win! |

TYPE-Moon never fails now do they? Checked out episode one, it's pretty good, reminded me of Gunslinger Girl a bit. A pretty nice seiyu cast, I recognized a bunch of the female ones, and they're pretty notable. I loved the Chinese-Shanghai BGM music during that festival. I always love that in anime festivals! Simply cause it's from TYPE-Moon it's going to get known pretty quick and they always stay pretty consistent when it comes to production values and quality. Qi is friggin' hot! I'm definitely going to try to know more about her throughout this series. Anyone know how long it's going to last? 12+ episodes? 24+ perhaps? [EDIT] Oh, and don't ask for uploads to be added onto the site. animesheep.com.

True, TYPE-Moon never fail us. And this will be a 13 episodes series, which means this falls under the category "Awesome anime are always so short" kind of series. |

Well Tsukihime was only around 12 episodes & we all know how much that anime was kick @$$!!! Most things that Nasu-san & Takeuchi-san touch usually turn to gold...there hasn't been anything that either of them has done or collaborated that are bad really. Fate was awesome, Tsukihime ditto, Kara no Kyoukai stupendous (chapter 6 very soon!!!), Meltyblood orgasmic!, Fate Zero righteous (if you can read japanese)...& so forth. It'll be interesting to see if CANNAN will go down as being one of the best they have ever done. It'll be extremely difficult to top Fate or Tsukihime but so far so good. And that is only ONE episode! |

when i watched the op. song, i can't help but feel that the main character resembles saber, with guns instead of a sword o.o still, looking forward to it. TYPE-MOON produces good shows, so i'm definitely gonna check this out.

It has a good chance, but I don't think it can surpass what Fate dished out, but this anime can easily turn around instantly, but this is just my guess for now. I think Fate/Stay Night or Kara no Kyoukai is TYPE-Moon's best anime work to date. Am I missing something notable?

hmm.. by the looks of it . i guess girls with ammo would naturally have guys eyeing it .lol but have to wait for more episodes to decide , if this is a keeper or not!!

@eufonius: She seems more like young Ryougi with white hair to me... plus her attitude is kinda similar to her boyish persona. It's Type-Moon. This show could be a giant troll by Nasu and I'd still watch it. That said, they've come a long way from a certain anime adaptation that shall not be named since it doesn't really exist...

I F@#KING LOVE THIS SERIESS!  The characters are soooooooo freaking hot and awesome. Canaan - So cooooooooool and winnnnnn! Maria - Damn she's sooo cuteeeeee! Their enemies - hot hot hot! I just can't help but love girls with guns more and more! So my type of anime when it comes to this kind of genre. |

4 episodes, 4 nice action scenes. yun yun and the taxi driver maria reminds me of baccano's miria Alphard <3 awesome seiyuu list gotta love this show |
