Terminator Salvation

Has anyone seen Terminator 4 yet? What did you think about it?

I liked it, but it didn't blow me away. The only thing that really did was the 3D effects, which couldn't've been more realistic.
I thought the action/dialog balance was nice, but needed more action.

Blaire was incredibly hot, and Marcus was such a bad455.
The ending was kind of rushed, especially the fight sequence with the Arnold Terminator and Marcus and John Connor.

From what I heard before, John was supposed to die in this movie in order to save the future, but that wasn't the case.
His wife was pretty though. Her being pregnant was kind of irrelevant.
Oh, and Common over-acted some of his parts, but it's typical Common to say
that one part was "beautiful" when they tested out the signal to deactivate the T-bots.
A huge hero had to have been that little girl, Storm?

Apparently, a 5th one will be in the making...

I didn't really enjoy it. As an action movie I guess it's alright, but as a movie overall it was lacking and pretty stupid.

The Terminators seemed to be pretty bad at their function too, which is to kill. All they seem to do is throw people around and look imposing.

The original ending would have been way better than the ending they had. The only reason they changed it is because Bale signed on for more movies so they just had to keep Conner alive.

Yeah, I heard about that other ending, too.

I agree with you strongly about the Terminators being almost ineffective killing machines, which defines their name.
I don't get John Connor coming back in the 5th one though, it doesn't make sense.
We watched the credits through to see if there would be some sneak peak at a future production,
but the way it ended anyways, it's just too vulnerable for a 5th title which rumor will be created.

Lacking indeed. They have everything they needed, the cast was nice, just a few steps short on "complete".

I have seen it on this past 28 of May..
hurm , for me the storyline is a bit off..
i'm pretty null at the opening but as the movie goes on i get the hang of the stroryline..
the actions , it's ok but i think it doesn't reach the level "Terminator Salvation" like it should be..
i agree with devil angel though about the 3D effect..
it couldn't get more realistic..
overrall , it's ok and i suggest that you guys to watch this movie..

[@stolen] Blaire? That girl who he first saw?

[@eddie] Yeah, the only thing that really was T4 hype was the 3D design and effects.
The open field shots were intense and gave you that feeling especially if you were watching in a movie theater (super surround sound ~ SSS).

I thought numerous parts were done way too quickly.
I forgot to mention this before, but a huge lack of character development and I was pissed about that.
Although it was kind of obvious, they should've shown more with his wife (the pregnant one).

Marcus really, had more screen time than the main character John almost,
and if not, he was definitely more vital to the storyline and was more significant.
That little girl Storm was more significant than most of the main characters,
and I thought Kyle Reese, who was the #1 target, was really retarded trying to oppose Marcus, lol. No, don't do that.

Also, the part where Marcus hacked into the entire Skynet was sick,
but they showed how he found out where he really came from and who he was, that was quick and possibly confusing to some.

I wouldn't suggest seeing it, maybe wait until it's shown on TV, only unless you really want to see it badly.
But I'm already pissed that X-Men wasn't even that good either, in fact a friend told me it was horrible.

{@DA } haha.. don't be to harsh.. i know it's pretty lame , but it's a nice movie.. you will make the directer cry.. lolz~ XDD..

anyways , yup you are right again DA ..
come to think of it , who's the real heroes , John Connor or Marcus..??
weird much.. Marcus has more scenes than John did.. and her wife is pregnant for
god sake.. but she is rather though than the usual pregnant people in the real
life..
*kudos to DA for noticing it.. XDD

Haha, as a fan and a viewer who paid to see the actual film, I have every right to pass criticism and judgment. :P

The movie was nice, you're right, but things were portrayed too quickly or poorly and it felt "incomplete".
The intro credits took a while to finish, and who was that lady who kissed Marcus in the cell?
Was she ever fully identified at all? She was involved with the project to do testing on Marcus though,
but they never even explained why Marcus was "the one", how he got into that cell, etc. Details that weren't explained.

And yeah, for a pregnant lady, she was able to move quite freely. O.o
Maybe her elegance helped her out, cause she was really pretty.
I can actually see her resembling the older version from the third movie,
but wow John Connor comes out jacked, 5 o'clock shadow? Well, he had one in the third movie I believe, rofl.

I haven't seen it. Is Arnold in it?

Just do it!

He's not actually in it, but there's a fight scene at the end where a Terminator has his face.

Arnold retired as an actor years ago.
