im looking for an anime i cant remember much except its about a girl who dies many horrible deaths. thats all i can remember if u think u kno it give me names plz thanks in advance

you'd really have to be more specific, because i've heard of several animes were characters die horrid deaths over and over again. there's Air (although that's more said that horrible), Higurashi...aw, there was something else, but i forget what it was...  |

Well, since the description is very vague, I'd have to agree with most people and go with Higurashi no Naku Koro ni since dying many deaths is basically the entire premise of the series. A time frame of when you saw it would be nice. Because if it was like, 5 years ago, then it wouldn't be Higurashi. |

Higurashi is really the most obvious answer, that show is pretty messed up. XD The only one that comes to mind for me at the moment is The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. She doesn't die a lot, but she does die and leaps through time in order to prevent it, as well as other things from happening, only to realize that the tattoo on her arm is counting down the number of times she can go through time. With no other info, this is going to be very difficult.    |

Other than Higurashi there is also Mnemosyne where the main character Rin is immortal so she dies quite brutally & violently often...though it is only an OVA & not a long series. It came out i think last year so it is pretty recent. Other series i can think of is Elfen Lied, Devil Lady.....yeah a time frame for this anime series you are thinking about would be helpful.  |

well it isnt higurashi but i have remembered theres 1 girl and 2 guys who like her and try to kill each other for her. Also it looks similar to code geass but darker (more at night) and tons of sword fighting it was shown to me about 2 or 2 and a half years ago and ive been wanting to watch it now but i cant remember what it is.

any luck guys? sorry, my anime knowledge is extremely limited ^^ um... well, what colour hair did the girl have- and where/how did you watch it ? It could be pretty old ? ( sorry anime girls have such weird hair, i thought it might help ) |

ok well its definatley about 2 guys fighting to win the heart of 1 girl (the girl is a swordsman with black or blonde hair cant ramember but it was a natural color) looked alot like code gaess and i think it was a movie or a short OVA. Also there is guns so it is a modern setting plus there was lots of characters (i think). plus it was recondmended for me since i liked hellsing

it has a modern setting so its not ninja scroll also im saying is im pretty sure it is not a series but it could be its just i remember it not being that long or it could be that ive only seen some of it

for a second i thought it was Revolutionary Girl Utena, but that involves a lot more characters and i don't think Utena dies a lot or anything (plus she has pink hair, so that's off the mark)... agh, it sounds familiar, but it's not ringing any bells for me >.< all right, break down of the facts -modern setting, with guns (possibly) -female sword user, with a natural hair colour -two guys fighting to win her heart -girl dies a series of horrible deaths -variety of characters -possibly a movie or OVA (maybe even a really short series) -looks like Code Geass, recommended via Hellsing -at least 2-2 1/2 years old what would you say the genre or mood is? if the violence is being played for comedy, that could narrow things down a bit. otherwise, having a genre could also narrow it down. i'm guessing action/adventure/drama, maybe some horror, but i don't know... for all we know, this could be something really obscure >.< |

If it is similar to Code Geass does it mean that is also done by CLAMP? If so it could be 'X'. I don't think the girl uses a sword (a sword does come out of her though) & there are 2 guys (Kamui & Fuma) that are fighting for her. There are numerous characters as well (Karen *hubba hubba* ~drool~).... The only thing is that it came out in 2000, first as a film than as an anime series in 2001. In the film almost everyone dies, everyone cept the main dude Kamui. I haven't seen the anime series yet so i'm unsure if that is the same case.
