ok ive been playing this game for half a week now and the beginning is totally different from the jp version from when i played. im enjoying myself like when i played melody of elemia. its just that i heard there are 3 endings for the game so i made 3 saves in that decision who i should go with. its really sad i like cloche so i went with her and she dies, if i go with luca then shes to one who dies instead? is there an alternative so i get them alive? and the jacqli ending is if i form a serious relation with her and just stay friends with the other two. I love the music in the cosmosphere but i cant find it on the soundtrack it came with anyone know where i can get it online? and the infel pira hymnos song too? why cant they ever put the good songs on the cd that comes with the game. I only like that luca theme song la la la la one not the metafalica song tho.  |

I started playing it yesterday, had to splurge my budget to get it, so next month i'll have to cut back. Anyways it is pretty different from the original & took some time to get use to the new features in the game. First things first the artwork is again beautiful! All the characters look really good. 2nd the music is fantastic again. As for your question Taichi-san, alot of the songs can be found in the 2 disc OST, as well as the 2 Hymmnos Concert CDs (Side blue & Side red). I haven't heard Infel pira yet...or i may have cause the names in the US version are different to the original Japanese ones. I have to check. 3rd the voice acting is decent, although i would prefer if they either just use all text reading or voice the entire script. The bouncing back & forth from voices to reading is annoying at times. So far i'm liking what i see, so as i 'dive' into it more i'll have more to post.  |

Oh. I wonder if anyone is having trouble with raki in the phase 5 where the game freezes. xDD It's a problem in the game itself.   |

Ar tonelico 2 localization was poorly done and from what it seems wasn't played tested since too many easily noticable bugs/issues were left. Let's hope NISA doesn't messing up MK2. |

I play... i just love the possibility of playing Myr! She's my favorite last boss :) But i kinda stuck at the game's stupidity. Just sunken various locations, including promise hill. Current objective: "We should go to the tower. We can get there through the Promise Hill"... Am i supposed to jump down from the land? :D Oh, it's not Lyner of course, but there are some good vanguard characters: Croix and Cocona... I just love Croix's "Yaru na, yatteyaru sa" and well, Cocona's cute(although she pronounces herself similar to Mokona :D). As for Reyvateils, Cloche's nice character. Well, Myr's way better. If i were to grade em: Cloche's better then starting Reyvateils from first ar tonelico(Misha and Aurica), but of course she can't match Shurelia. But well, they give us Myr :D Well, the translation has loads of mistakes with english words and i suppose they send me NOT to promise hill right now :D |

I have to agree that the localization of the game is a tad off to say the least. Kinda disappointed in Atlus for doing such a poor job on the script & translation cause they did such a good job on the first game. Like i said i didn't like the inconsistent use of voice over, i wished they either did it one way or another. Having to hear voice over for one scene & then the very next has none was a tad annoying. Overall though i liked the dubbing, for the most part the actors did a good job. So far i haven't encountered any glitches or freezing yet, i'm not sure if the first encounter with Raki froze the game or not or if a later encounter will. If it is a later battle supposedly beating her within 3 rounds will prevent any lockup of the game. @ Taichi-san I can finally answer your question about the music. They are found in the actual OST of the game. The 2 disc soundtrack has the music you are looking for, although they are extremely short. Infel Pira is like only 11 seconds long! A copy of it can be bought at cdjapan for about $35 US. The blue (Cloche) & red (Luca) hymnos albums are aplenty in torrent format. *EDIT* Oh yeah forget to mention anyone notice how they screwed up with the gender of 'Jean Ishikawa?'...i bet they didn't play the game before naming the character huh? |

It wasn't Atlus that localized Ar Tonelico 2; it was NISA. If you haven't notice some of the answers in Cosmosphere were inverted. some of the orginal Japanese voice overs were removed. Yes, they screwed up Jean's gender (female can be also named Jean) |

I'm finally on phase 5 of the game or getting close to that part....so far in this game i went for the Cloche route, though it was hard to leave Luca behind cause i found her to be very delightful in the way she acts. A cheerful girl on the outside but not so much on the inside. Even with all the localization problems one thing for sure is that the music is still awesome!!! There are some great pieces of music in the game in terms of Hymmnos songs as well as BGM. I absolutely love the music that is played when the girls take a bath. The cosmophere music is also fantastic as well. A question for you guys of all the girls in the game who are your faves? Also do you prefer the 'busty group' or the 'Loli group'? Busty group - Cloche, Spica, Amarie, Skycat Loli gorup - Luca, Cocona, Jaqcli, Frelia Looks wise Spica has that 'Hot Teacher' feel to her, while Skycat...well she's just plain Hot! However Cocona is plain cute & i usually have her in my party whenever i can. Jaqcli is just plain cool with her attitude of 'whatever' & i love her conversations with Spica. |

I have just completed this game with Luca ending. My comments : The art is very good, the gameplay is much better than Ar Tonelico I (Ar Tonelico I is too easy). But, for the Reyvateils I prefer Ar Tonelico I (Aurica & Shurelia). And yes... Jaqli is Myr --> there is no doubt about it.

I completed the Cloche route & the Jaqli route. It sure helps to save doing Cosmosphere stuff til the very end (or at least have them up to level 4) that way you can obtain the other endings without having to play the game all over again. Now working on obtaining Luca, Cocona, & Frelia'a endings. The only downside is that you're only going to have one reveitail who is overpowered. So most of the fighting will depend on your melee characters. Fortunately my guys are all at level 99 so beating enemies is easier. I was kinda saddened about what happened to Infel in the game...i liked her personality & i felt for all the things she had to go through in the story of the game. Both her magics in Cloche's repitoire are cool to see though! One of Jaqli's magic has appearances by Shurelia, Aurica, & Misha which was very cool. Another has her original form as seen in the first game!! Was only able to use it once in the last battle cause it takes awhile to build up to use. Summoning Replakia helps speeds up the process too. Does anyone else wonder that in the next AR Tonelico game that Cocona may be one of the main characters? That scene with Jacqli was really interesting....i take it Cocona will take the Heart of Gaea & the duty of restoring Tyria's Tower. |

I have finished the Luca ending and the Jaqli ending, this game is really good despite the bad translation and the bug when fighting Raki. The songs are preety nice too. My favourites are : Reisha's lullaby, Replakia, and the song Luca sang at Rakshek (I forgot the title)

hey i made a mistake when in the cloche cosmosphere lv5 and i can't dive to cloche anymore. how i can dive again to cloche???

Man...KiraHideto..u do not screw up..but u just picked another girl to dive in deeper..which route did u choose anyway? If u choose cloche's route..u probably dived into jaqli more than her.. Hehehehhe i love this game man i already hav the luca,cloche and jaqli's ending..still playing to get cocona ending  |
