Sekirei

Scheduled for airing in July, Sekirei has already been identified as one of the more fanservice-y titles of Summer 2008. Like many other titles, Sekirei starts off with Minato Sahashi, an ordinary student attempting to enter college, but due to a twist of fate, he encounters Musubi, who fortunately or unfortunately, drags him into battles never before experienced. Since I have only browsed through the manga, I am not sure of its exact storyline, but from the preview videos, it appears that the anime will be staying true to its manga counterpart, at least for the first few episodes. As most anime and manga fans would already know, there is bound to be some form of fanservice, though I doubt it will be as risque compared to some other titles like *cough* Kanokon *cough*. Looking on the bright side, the fight scenes featured should ensure the anime does not fall into the mindless fanservice, ecchi category. Bet your 455 I'm going to check this out. One of the titles that's been on my "not-up-to-mind" waiting list. Ugh, another anime where the guy has all the hot girls around him. D:<

looks interesting, and it does have kinda similar art as bamboo blade. haha DA dreams is to be surrounded by those girls :O! |

Dude its like another Love Hina if the anime is released. Imagine an apartment that has only two men and the rest is all women. Other than that, almost all the women there has the hots for you. It airs on July 2nd so we only have to wait a little bit for it, man I wish I had super powers to make time go faster.

fanservice desu ne!! this is for ero-sennins like me. animation is good and the physical features/storyline are almost the same as the manga. it will be battle of the bigger boobs as Ive seen in the comment. who is the animation production co who made this? is it sony aniplex? |

I love this anime already, I already knew it from the start. I'm so happy. This anime is gonna kick 455. The OP is pretty nice. It reminds me of one from Negima!?, which are sung by multiple artists, or the one from Bamboo Blade which was pretty nice. Speaking of that, the artwork is the same as Bamboo Blade, but the animation and style is definitely of Ikki Tousen. The whole thing about Sekireis fighting each other is just like Ikki Tousen, too. And the nasty blows that tear of clothing and overly busted girls, definitely Ikki Tousen, too. There's plenty of everything I love in this anime so far. Also it appears that in the next episode, Minato is going to get surrounded by pretty, cute, busty girls! He's a pretty good guy and since I re-watched Myself; Yourself today, I think I can tell that Minato's seiyu is the same one as Sana's. Anyone else? Musubi reminds me of Sakura from Street Fighter. They look a like, really alike in my opinion, but her personality is definitely really cute, and with that body of hers... makes her perfect. It's already obvious that Musubi and Minato will hook up, and Musubi is going to fall in love with him. Pretty nice so far. This anime looks promising, yet another shorty from Japan. I'm really putting hopes into this anime, cause episode one rocked, and I'm totally in love with it already. It's awesome! It's truly a DA series, lol.

I hated Ikki Tousen so much, yet I find this show absolutely amazing for one simple reason. It is so painfully cliche it's hilarious to watch. I watched the first episode when it came out with a friend of mine, hoping it would be pretty good since I thought the art style was a nice mix of Kaze no Stigma and Mimani-ke. Man were we surprised... The first episode opens with (Elfen Lied) a massacring of guards for what seems to be no reason and limbs and everything else and whatnot death everywhere, only to have the quiet one waiting outside for the psychopath to walk up saying along the lines of "awwww you waited for me!". Then we get to the actual episode - This is where things got hilarious (My friend and I even had a competition to see if we could guess EXACTLY what would happen next before it took place). Female lead battlescene against dominatrix lightning ninja twins....nuff said. Main character is walking home like usual with token bad day news stuck in his head, when the female lead lands on him from the sky out of nowhere. As we guessed he looked up only to find he was looking at her rear, and of course the girl apologizes without even condoning him for looking straight there... Then there's the parts we could see a mile away, she's troubled cause she doesn't have a place to stay, the main guy feels "nice" and decides to let her stay at his place, the landlord walks up while she's cooking dinner to say it's for singles only and he better not catch anyone else in there, they walk downtown only to encounter the dominatrix twin ninjas in public again - dressed as maids... Jeez this show brings stereotype to a whole new level... The sad thing is I don't they were intending it to but it's even funnier than Nurse Witch Komugi! I don't mean to offend anyone here who seriously enjoys it, I'm just saying personally I found it to be absolutely hilarious. Excellent for group viewings. EDIT: Oh, and the blonde one is hot....

hahahahah H4x0r Dud3 you notice too the first few minutes just like elfen lied (almost, still it made me remember elfen lied) don't know about ikkitousen, got the first season, but never go beyond 2 eps but I must say that the drawing is bad, the manga is more smooth.. lastly it was never like kaze no stigma (I watched, kaze had good body posture like char, more smooth too) and minami-ke.. I don't know about this one.. never watch it.. anyway the first thing i notice about this anime was (elfen lied scene) and (is that guy L???)-> the main char.. they just look alike this show had similarity to death note... and body posture as bad as special A (for the main guy) for the girl.... near as bad as "eiken"

By looking like Kaze no Stigma I meant the clothing designs and stuff mainly, not the style. And nothing is as bad as eiken. Eiken was by wimps trying to make hentai but failing.

So we meet a few more Sekirei in episode 2. Minato and Musubi move in to Villa Izumo; boy what a paradise resort that is! His sister Yukari is really, really cute! =^-^= Kusano who we meet is pretty adorable, too. Their relationship (Minato and Yukari) with each other seems really special, so I hope we see her more later on in the anime. Minato (voice of Sana from Myself; Yourself) is pretty darn lucky. Musubi as his "lover", a place to stay for FREE, more hot Sekirei, etc. I hope this gets better and better. I'm loving it so far! :3 The part after Uzume gets chased by Musubi and Miya comes out was the best! She blocks Musubi's punch with some pan then wacks her gently with the soup ladle. That scene was so darn CUTE!! :P [edit] w00t~! Can't wait for episode four! I think we meet another Sekirei that'll come to Minato? Not sure. Musubi in High School Girls' Gym uniform is made of win!! ♥♥♥ Episode three though was funny. The fight scene was hilarious:

Finally got a chance to see this series & i must say this is my kind of series!!!! Beautiful, Busty, Sexy, & did i mention Busty!? Reminicent of series like Tengou Tenge & IkkiTousen and i loved both of those series. So far 3 episodes down, 23 more to go! Also a series that features my name you can't go wrong! I wish i was that boarding house :P What more can you ask for than to have multiple beautiful girls living inside you...*sigh*. Anyways Uzume looks like she's may be my fave gal but Miya is so darn cool with her tough yet adorable character, just don't make her angry! Green girl looks like your typical Loli character but i must admit she's adorable with her limited speech. I read that Minato will eventually have 6 Sekirei's at his disposal & if i know my harem anime correctly a majority will be fighting for his affection. *Grrrrrr!!!!* Just like DAngel-san said i'm eagerly awaiting more from this series! My kind of series that's for sure...*droool*  |
