Plot: This story is about a girl named "Sakura Hinamori" who transferred to East Academy. She meets several unlikely people from different year levels. All of them possessing specialties in combat fighting. She then finds herself being a part of that group forcibly because of the threats that might endanger her best friend, “Yukari Yamazaki†and the other students in their school. She is given the red number “0†as a proof of her super human skills. This also makes her the strongest member in the group. Their group is a special operations unit in which they protect the welfare and dignity of the students & the school. They are called “GEARSâ€, the “Guardians of East Academy in Red Styleâ€. While studying her grade school & junior high in the US, she was also trained by her father as a soldier but was never commissioned in the US Army because of his father’s influence. When her father died in an accident, she moved back to Japan, hoping to live a normal life and hoping to find her mother’s relatives. She then enrolls at East Academy for her high school in Yokohama. She befriends Yamazaki, Yukari and they became best of friends. Sakura belongs in 1st yr. class 2. Ikuto & Sakura are classmates & seatmates. she likes violin, guitars, sports, music, food, black accessories, red contact lens at the same time she hates pink, perverted guys & RAIN! Another Main Cast Reporting for duty... Name: Aki Riyodoji Age: 18 yrs. old Birthday: Oct. 8, 1989 Birthplace: Sendai, Japan Class: 3rd Year class 2 Parents: both are alive and living together in Sendai, Japan. Father is working as a teacher in a local University. Mother is working as a government employee in a local Bank. Likes: playing computer games, sports food & music Hates: cats & dogs, sweets and ice cream Specialty/Talents: highly trained in Archery as well as Mid-range Throwing knifes and also Short Range Knife Fighting. His body is also very flexible and good for secret mission. Has super human speed. Personal background: Born in the same place as Yuji, Aki and Yuji are childhood friends in grade school but both got separated when Aki transferred to Nagasaki for his junior high. There he met Shin Misuzu and became good friends and partners. Both are considered to be unbeatable in combat because of their teamwork. Haru recruited Aki and Shin because of their exceptional specialty and teamwork. Aki is very calm and assertive when it comes to people and work. The complete opposite of Shin. Aki belongs to 3rd yr. class 2. Aki is equally strong with Shin. Normally he's wearing A Special Eyeglasses to hide his Strange and somewhat drawing attentions eye colour (Bright Blue) making them black coloured, It's rumored that it's his way to seal his power, however it's just a rumor, there's no need to Believe them ,right? I like to join ^^ Name: Toya Shidou Age: 16 yrs. old Birthday: Sept. 19, 1991 Birthplace: Kyoto, Japan Parents: Both parents are alive & well and both lives in Tokyo, Japan Likes: playing basketball & baseball, likes motorcycles, food & music Hates: academic subjects especially Math & Science & most especially hates girls Specialty/Talent: excel only in sports, highly trained in gun shooting & fist fighting, another specialty is on Bombs-creating & disarming bombs Personal Background: Born in Kyoto, Japan, he is a very mischievous boy. Likes playing around with guns & bombs. His parents moved to Tokyo when he started going to East Academy. Previously on his junior high years, he almost got kick-out of school because of destroying the school gym. Luckily Haru came and paid for the damages and told Toya that he could use his specialty in East Academy. Toya is the 4th strongest member of GEARS. He belongs to 1st yr. class 3.

Father works as a private detective. Likes: playing the violin, sleeping, long black hair, eyes, music & sports Hates: sweets Specialty/Talents: excel in Math and Science, highly trained in hand-to-hand combat & martial arts, averagely good in swords, excel in violin playing, swimming & soccer Poor in: (strangely enough) P.E Personal Background: He’s born in Yokohama, Japan. When his father decided to move to Sendai, he stayed and continued his studies in Yokohama high for junior high years. During his junior high, he got interested in violin playing while training in his grandfather’s dojo. Name: Yukito Sakamoto Age: 18 yrs. old Birthday: Feb. 14, 1989 Birthplace: Tokyo, Japan Year & Class: 4th year Class 1 Specialty/Talents/Skills: Good with the computer, has a great talent for critical thinking investigation, very observant and up to the smallest detail. Has the ability to 'copy' someone's skills after seeing it once or twice. Usually fight with variable number of weapons(long: snipes/guns/archery, mid: dynamites/throwing knives/chains or short: long knives/katana/gloves), but uses a convertible tonfa when he's pissed off. He can ride a bicycle for hours or days without getting tired but get tired after running for 10 minutes for some odd reason. Likes:Cooking, music, cute things, sweets, reading books (mostly Shakespearian/Literature books & History books) Hates: coffee(Black, or very little milk or sugar), sour & bitter foods Personal Background/description: Parents are alive and are living with him in Yokohama. Name: Haru Suzuhiro Age: 19 yrs. old Birthday: Feb. 29, 1988 Birthplace: Tokyo, Japan Parents: Both parents are alive but his mother is staying with him in Yokohama. His father on the other hand is in Tokyo because of some family business. Likes: dishes cooked by Yukito Sakamoto & music Hates: Paper works in school Specialty/Talents: Combat specialty in unknown, excel in academic studies, has great reverse-psychology persuasion Personal Background: Born in Tokyo, Japan. This boy is a rich kid. His mother and father are both businessmen and are both members of the board of trustees in East Academy. His father manages a Record Company in Tokyo. Haru is considered to be the richest student in East Academy and is highly respected and feared. He is the student council President of East Academy. He looks serious when it comes to serious matters but becomes a gentle “puppy†when Yukito presents him with his favorite dishes. Recruited half of the members of GEARS form different schools in different parts of Japan. Combat specialty is unknown but is considered to be the 1st strongest member of GEARS but is mainly found at the back of his desk. Haru is the Boss/Founder of GEARS. Haru belongs to 4th yr. class 1. Name: Shin Misuzu Age: 18 Birthday: November. 12, 1989 Birthplace: Nagasaki, Japan Parents: Father died in police duty and mother is alive and is working at a Pharmaceutical company in Nagasaki. Likes: cats & dogs, sports, food, music and ninja stuff Hates: computer games and Math, annoying people. Specialty/Talents: highly trained in ninja techniques, highly trained in dual bushido and good for secret mission and secret attacks. Quite skilled in projectile throwing. His body is also very resistant, has super human strenght and defense. Is the second fastest member of G.E.A.R.S. Personal Background/description: Born in Nagasaki, Japan, this person is a very short-tempered guy. The complete and total opposite of Aki. Much to everyone’s amazement, he always gets into trouble whether it is by his work or by his surroundings. But during missions, he always completes & finishes the job alongside Aki. The two are inseparable, they work together ever since junior high and have never failed to beat up bullies or even bad guys. That is why Shin and Aki got recruited to East Academy by Haru. Although not that intellectual compared to Aki, he has a great instinct but always manages to instinctively annoy Toya, who is also short-tempered. Shin belongs to 3rd yr. class 3. He is equally strong with Aki. Aki and Shin are considered to be unbeatable in combat because of their teamwork, but still formidable individually. The complete opposite of Aki. He can be serious when needed, without hesitating. Normally he's wearing a special bracer to hide a strange and somewhat unique bright red scar, hiding it from view. It rumored that it's his way to seal his power, its also rumored he would be the most successful against Aki in combat. Shin has the highest physical strenght in G.E.A.R.S, considered 5th strongest member overall despite that. Not to say he couldn't defeat some considered 'stronger'. Picture/Current Appearance:

Likes: computers, laptops, electronic gadgets, music & food Hates: bullies, scary movies, cats and dogs (because of allergies) Specialty/Talents: computer whiz, mechanical engineer and technician of GEARS, inventor of cool gadgets.Very sarcastic and considered the class clown, Combat specialty-none. Hardly could afford to go to school during grade school but because of his specialty, Haru made an agreement with him that he would help him with his studies as long as he will assist Haru in East Academy. occ: ok guys! let's begin! let me begin this with a novel style ok? here we go! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The sun was up and a new school year has come for the students of East Academy. Friends and Classmates meet once again for a whole new experience and for the freshmen of East Academy, its a whole new begining for them. Girls & Boys alike were heard giggling & laughing as they took a peek of their names on the bulletin board for their respective classes. Some were disappointed while others were happy to be with their friends again. Freshmen were seen inside the school gym for the recognition ceremony. The Student Council body was there, giving awards for the students who gained high scores on the exams. After the ceremony was done, all the freshmen then proceeded to their respective classroom. Then suddenly, a gush of wind blew in the air as a new transfer student appeared on the campus gates. She had long black hair and deep dark blue eyes. Nobody seemed to notice so, the new student proceeded to the Principals Office. In the Principals Office, she meets her Homeroom Teacher and got her room assignment. She then followed him to the room. As they were walking towards the room, memories of her past came to her mind. She thought to herself that she had to move on and forget the past. She then arrived in a room with a tag on the door which read, 1 class 2. The teacher then went inside the room.. Homeroom Teacher: Good Morning class! I am Mr. Hajime Sentaro. I will be your homeroom teacher for this year. I hope all of us will get along well. Before we begin our class, let me introduce a new student. She came all the way from the US although, she is a pure japanese & she was born in Okinawa, Japan. And mind you guys, her Japanese is really fluent like her English. *he then calls for her* please come in.. The new student entered the room without any hesitation... New Student: Good Morning. I am Sakura Hinamori. Please to meet you. I'm looking forward to knowing all of you... *the whole class gave out a big awe to the new student* Mr. Hajime: Alright you guys! Settle down now..! *turns to sakura* Ms. Hinamori, you may take your seat now. your chair is over there next to the window.. Sakura: Thank you, Mr. Hajime. *sakura then walks towards her chair. she then noticed a guy sleeping with a headset on his ears. she then said something in discreet* good thing he's seated at my back, at least i won't get distracted. *As class began, sakura just stared outside the window and sighed...* Sakura*in her mind speaking*: Well.. Here we go.. And that is the beginning of a simple yet complicated school year at East Academy... |

[In the classroom] Ikuto was asleep at the very back of the class when Sakura sat infront of him.But it was a few subjects before somebody noticed him asleep. "Mr.Ikuto!Its the first day of school and your already asleep!" said the teacher. Ikuto opened his eyes slowly and looked out the window while scratching his head. "What the hell...Its too noisy." he said silently.Only he and the person infront of him heard it.The teacher didnt know he had his headsets on and didnt hear a single thing he said. "I'll let you off today since its the first day!" he shouted as he resumed the lesson. As the teacher resumed the lesson he took of the headset and turned off the player.He looked inside the classroom for the first time and the person that caught his eye was the person sitting infront of him. "Huh..New guy." he said silently. "Well whatever..its to be expected since Im at a new school." he said as he gazed out the window again. "When will lunch time arrive..." he said as his eyes became unfocused. |

[Outside the school] "Gah!Im late Im late Im late Im late!!! Stupid clock!" said Yuji as he ran towards the classroom. He reached the classroom very late.His hands shivering as he opened the door.He breathed deep went inside. "Yuji Mihara,reporting in late sir!" he shouted as he entered the class. His classmates started to laugh and said "Wow..He really knows how to make an entrance." "Late as usual,Yuji?" the teacher said amused. "Well..It was because an alien chased me around town.I barely made it out." He answered as he went to his seat. "Fine fine..How many times has that happened last year?" the teacher said as he resumed class. "hehe..It happens alot to me sir." Yuji said as he gazed out of the window and started to wait for lunch. |

[class 1-3] Toya entered the classroom fifteen minutes past the first period bell... he just casually opened the door and walked to the seat on the back of the class the homeroom teacher would yelled at him but let it be.. he sense a trouble maker from him, at the teachers and classmate know it but as long as he's not bothered he is a fine, and this is the first day of school so the teacher just let it slide The teacher continued speaking about this and that and about grades, the whole class really into it. But toya looked out to the window, watching the sky feeling bored..

[3rd year Class 2 Classroom] Aki is Scribbling on his note, while Occasionally looking at the board. "Let's see.. So by substituting that equation into this formula, we'll get this one." Silently, Aki is doing the problem on a Piece of paper. "Too easy.. Hah.." Aki Look at his classmates having some Difficulties, and he laugh silently and He turn his head towards the window, Started to spacing out. "It's this time of the year again, huh? I Wonder if there's gonna be some Freshmen that can thrill me out this time.. Hmm.. I'm gonna have to Look for them myself then... Ah?" Aki suddenly realize something, and he Forgot to wear his Glasses, He look for it and he find it inside his bag. "Phew.. Glad I Found it.. I Wonder what will happen to me if I Forgot to wear it." Aki Pick up His glasses and starts observing it. "It has been around 10 years, eh? Quite a long time.. I Wonder How she's doing now... That girl... I Wish I Have known her sooner... But still.. Thanks for her I'm what I am right now.." Aki Sighed and put up his glasses, Wearing it and he is still staring the cloud from his desk through the window. "Wish I Can meet her for the second time.. Aki keeps Daydreaming without realizing that the teacher is walking towards him. while Aki is started to think aloud. "Yeah.. I Wish I Can meet her again." A Familiar voice is heard from besides him. "Yeah.. Same here.. I Wish you can meet her again, Aki." "Thanks for the Thought Sensei.................................. huh?" Aki Turns his head and to his surprise, His teacher is standing there besides him. "Ah,, Sensei!! I Can Explains!" The teacher just stood there, Staring at Aki with Cold look. "No need to explains, You just have to explains that New problem in front of the class." Aki Readjust his glasses and stand up. "Yes Sir.. That Number 5 Right?" The teacher nod silently and Aki walks in front of the class. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2 Minutes later ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aki Turns around, 1/4 of the board is filled with his Scribble and His teacher looked pretty surprised. "Is that correct, Sensei?" The teacher is speechless, as No sound comes from his mouth, but He nod. Aki can Slightly hears his Classmates whispering around. "Glad my answer is correct" Smiling, He sit on his place and he readjust his glasses. This time, He continue Scribbling on another piece of paper while occasionally looking out through Window again. |

[Classroom] Natsume was sitting quietly on his seat, staring at the book they were reading in class. Natsume was only pretending to read and was listening to his mp3 player. The earphones could be hardly seen since he was sitting at the back and one of his earphones are off so he can here if he was going to be called... Natsume: (sigh) 'Man, could the start of this year get any more boring?' Natsume stared at the window... Natsume: 'Man, I hope the Cherry Blossom Festival is going to be fun tonight... As the Teacher told everyone to continue there work he walks to the door slide it open and sead Hajime Sensai: Yes? [1st yr, Class 2] Yukari watched as the new girl walked to her seat. She sighed thinking about the school uniforms regretfully. I really wish they would make the uniforms a lot cuter. The new student looks pretty cute. I'll have to go talk to her later! she thought to herself brightening at the thought of being able to talk to Sakura. As the class came into session, Yukari listened attentively jotting down a few notes here and there. She hated studying but it was something she knew she would have to do in the future. With the teacher yelling at Ikuto for falling asleep in class and the arrival of several late students, another thought entered Yukari's mind. There sure are a lot of students coming late... Why can't we all just wake up earlier? With this last thought, Yukari started to doodle in the margin of her notebook sketching out possible new designs for the school uniforms. Hey, I know! That new design I saw in the store would look really cute on Hinamori-chan! She smiled to herself and started to furiously sketch away in her notebook.
